ACP, The fundamental Christian outreach to and for Christian men. The Church for the American Christian Patriot
The online Church for American Christian Patriots, serves those men brave enough to want to raise their families in Christ. Men who will obey Ephesians 5:25
We are: Pro-Christ, Pro-Life, Pro-(pre-1860)Constitution.
Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it: Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, unless otherwise noted, is from the ACP/King James Version. The words in red are those of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those of God the Father and God the Holy Ghost and the words in this sickly EPA greenish color are of satan.

One day, after being in Egypt for about a year or two, Joseph got up one morning and told Mary to pack up the kids, a lunch and all their stuff. Mary probably said, Why, where are we off to now? For by this time they must have had James, and in all probability Mary was either pregnant to their second or third or had just brought forth their second or third child, for Jesus was about four or five years old. And while much of what I have said above is speculating, below we find the biblical account of what happened, but sadly without dates or ages.
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, 18 IN RAMA WAS THERE A VOICE HEARD, LAMENTATION, AND WEEPING, AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN, AND WOULD NOT BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT (Jeremiah 31:15)
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 Saying, "Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life." 21 And he arose, and took the young child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, HE SHALL BE CALLED A NAZARENE (paraphrase from Judges 13:5). Matthew 2:16-23 ACP/KJV
Now as we look at verses 19-23, we see several points of interest. In verses 19&20 after Herod died, the angle of the Lord came to Joseph in a dream and told him that it was safe to go back to Israel. In verse 21 we see that Joseph immediately obeyed, for he arose, took Jesus and Mary and departed. In verse 22 we see Joseph taking care of and protecting his family, by not going back to Bethlehem but back to his own town of Nazareth.
In verse 23 we see why Joseph went back to Nazareth, it was not only to protect his family, it was to fulfill prophecy, HE SHALL BE CALLED A NAZARENE (paraphrase from Judges 13:5).
It is important to note that Jesus was to be called a Nazarene, not a Nazarite. One from Nazareth, not one who never got his hair cut.
There are two very important lessons for us as Christian men to learn form this and one important lesson for wives and children to learn.
Husbands, note that Joseph did not second guess the angel sent by God, he instantly obeyed. Yet at the same time while obeying and returning to Israel, he was looking to protect his family, so when he heard that the evil son of Herod, Archelaus did reign in Judea, he headed for Nazareth. He did this on his own, probably even before "notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream".
The two lessons therefore are first be obedient to God instantly. The second is when you know there might be a danger to your family, do not wait, take immediate action to get your family out of harms way. I don't know what Christian men living in cities are waiting for to evacuate their families out of the cities and into the country. The handwriting is on the wall, the cities are about to explode. Safety is in the countryside, if even there it might be safe.
The lesson for wives and children is to instantly obey the voice of the head of the family. Joseph got up said, "Pack." Jesus and Mary packed.
I suspect that one of the reason Christian men have not moved their families out of the cities is because their wives and their children are so disobedient. "What about my friends" "what about the kids schooling", "but dad we have a great church right here and the Pastor isn't saying anything about our having to move, wouldn't God tell him if it was necessary" Have you prayed about this? Has God told you to move us? Why doesn't God tell me too?"
As we continue to study the Life of Jesus, we are going to start to understand His question: Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8b. Will He find faithful men who obey His word? Will He find faithful wives that obey their husbands? Will He find children who obey the voice of the fathers and mothers? The answer is simple; No, not unless things change and men, women, and children start to obey what God said, not what they "know" He meant to say.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Ephesians 5:23
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Colossians 3:20

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
