Today's Christian thought: Thursday January 22nd, 2004
This is probably going to be one of the shortest thoughts I have ever done, but, if you follow the links, it will be one of the longest you have been involved in to date.
Why you must vote:
If you don't vote, this man, John Kerry may be elected Click the picture
If you don't vote, this man, Wesley Clark may be elected. Click the picture
Granted, aside from his appointment of John Ashcroft, his signing the ban on partial birth abortion and tax cuts, President Bush has done precious little for those of us who love Christ, family and nation. But, is there a democrat running that would do anything but hate us and use the Patriot act to attack us? While George Bush has thrown us as Christian Patriots precious few bones, the bones those running for president on the democratic ticket would throw would be ours.
Commit to doing two things: Pray that George Bush will become a true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian and to voting for his re-election.
Imagine how upset Katie Couric, Petey Jennings, and planned parenthood will be. That in itself makes the idea of President Bush's re-election something to look forward to.
The Shortest verse in the Bible is: found in John 11:35 Jesus wept the second shortest verse is found in First Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore. Verse 16 Pray without ceasing. So, let us vow to give the Lord a chance to smile by our Rejoicing and praying without ceasing.
The Lord be with and bless you all, amen.
Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush and Michael have, they, Rush, Michael and their audiences need the Lord.
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
