Today's Christian thought: Monday January 26th, 2003
In his first letter to the Thessalonians, God, through His scribe Paul, instructs them to Pray without ceasing. I, unlike Paul, am not in any position to instruct you to "Pray without ceasing." but, I would ask you to spend time each day in prayer and to add these things to your prayers.
Ask the Lord to protect His missionaries, those in the USA and those outside the USA. Ask Him to give them strength and courage and to insulate them from pain.
Ask Him to be with my wife and her class, to insulate all Christian teachers and their students from evil, the evil one, his minions and his ilk. To give those teachers the strength and courage to use every opportunity to speak out for the Lord by word, by deed and by actions..
Ask Him to be with Will's little girls and to rescue Will form the witch who has entrapped him and will try to destroy his and the souls of his daughters.
Ask the Lord to bless those children who are caring for their parents, to bless those parents who have taken the responsibility upon their own shoulders to care for, to teach, to provide for and to raise in a Godly manner their children.
Ask the Lord to be with, to guide and provide for Seth and his family.
To be with, to strengthen and to give funds to Don and his family, all of whom are the Lord's. To guide Don and help him make the decision that the Lord God Creator of all things would have Don do. To touch Don's heart and instill in him the need to call me collect.
Ask the Lord to be with Ed, to hear Ed's cry for a wife like Theresa, one who will obey God, one who will give Ed as many children as the Lord God would allow them to have, one who will devote her life to God, Ed and his children.
Ask the Lord to be with Julia and Molly, guiding and protecting them and using them to reach her parents and kin. To answer her questions and heal her marriage by opening her husbands eyes.
Ask the Lord to raise up a Paul for the Roman Catholics and the other cults that call themselves Christians, including the Episcopalians, the Lutherans, the Methodist and the UCC's..
Ask the Lord to bless, to enlarge and to protect the ministry of my brother Allen who serves the Lord in prison for a crime in which I believe he did not do.
And in closing, ask the Lord to bless all those who come to ACP and to be with all those pastors who are fighting for and praying for revival in our time. And give Him thanks for the mentor pastors He has placed in my life, especially Don and Warren and Lester.
Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush and Michael have, they, Rush, Michael and their audiences need the Lord.
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
