Smoking cigarettes is not the unpardonable sin!
Thursday January 30th, 2003
God said: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Genesis 1:29) God said this in the very first chapter of the very first book of His Bible. God did not say I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed Except tobacco.
He said: I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed
Yet, if you listen to and believe liberal left wing lying politicians and preachers, you would think that smoking cigarettes is a sure fire one way ticket to eternal damnation. They are both liars and therefore anti-Christ. Instead of listening to what the liars say, the forces of evil say, the pro-abortionists say, let us look and see what God says, both about your salvation and about those preachers who lie, misleading you to believe that this verse, dictated by God Almighty to Paul, refers to damnation of smokers.
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. (1 Corinthians 6:15) The leftist liberal deceiving preacher will tell you that this verse means that if you smoke, you are defiling the body, which is where the Holy Ghost lives, and therefore damning yourself to life eternal in hell, a place many of them deny even exist. Yet as with all lies induced by satan, there is a little truth to what they say. For yes, your body is the temple in which the Holy Spirit dwells in the Believer, the Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian. But, in his letter to the Corinthians, Paul is not talking about smoking cigarettes. He is no more talking about smoking cigarettes than he is about those who over eat and are therefore overweight, for if he was, very few indeed would be eligible for heaven.
First we are going to look at what God says about salvation and then we are going to look at what He has to say about lying preachers and then we are going to look and see who and what Paul is really warning the Corinthians about.
from John Chapter Three
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him." 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, "How can these things be?" 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:1-21)
Jesus, God, tell us that salvation is brought about by truly believing in Him. Let's look again at a couple of key verses: verse three: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " and verses 16 thru 18 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." Do you see anything there that says "except those who smoke cigarettes"?
Now let's look at what the Lord has in store for those who twist and pervert His word, the Holy Bible, to enrich their own pockets, or to make themselves look smart or for any other reason. These next verses are directed directly at those who preach:
from Matthew Chapter Seven
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?' 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:15-23)
Jesus starts right out with this warning: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." How will you know them? By their fruits, they will be not preaching a verifiable Gospel, but one in which they twist God's word for their own selfish corrupt reasons. And what happens to them? "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity." If Jesus tells them to depart, where are they going? Not heaven that's for sure and their aint no purgatory so the only place left is the lake of fire. Eternal damnation.
Now, let's go back and look at who and what Paul had been instructed by God to warn the Corinthians about.
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:12-20)
The sins Paul is referring to here are the sins, yes sins, of illegitimate sex. All illegitimate sex, not as defined by the politicians, the judges, the liberal left wing preachers, but all illegitimate sex as defined by God. Which is all sex outside of marriage, the marriage of one man to one woman.
Am I encouraging you to smoke? No, of course not, but not because I have any idea that your smoking is going to damn you, but because I smoked for years and I know how much better I feel since I stopped on July 10th, 1995.
Now, in closing, I am gong to tell you one more thing, one more time; Your salvation is your responsibility, you are not going to hell for smoking, you will definitely go to hell if you reject Christ. Get saved go to heaven with or without tobacco breath. Stay unsaved and you'll burn in the lake of fire, for as sure as hell exist, you'll go to hell.
So, stop worrying about your cigarettes and start worrying about your salvation, for the unpardonable sin is rejection the Lord God Creator of the entire universe, Christ Jesus.
The Lord help you and be with you, may He be with and guide our President in these times of war and may He help you to find and receive Him.
Would you like to see just how ludicrous the governments have become when it come to smoking? This will amaze you. If only the governments would put as much effort into stopping activities that result in AIDS, or to educate young boys and girls to the horrors they will live with after being involved in the slaughter of their baby by an abortionist.
A vist to ths site will show you how the governments and the churches have misdirected your anger away from their Behaviour and the indecent behaviors that result in unwanted pregnancies, AIDS and 34 uncontrollable Sexually Transmitted Diseases that are revenging our children and our population.
God blessed America when she feared Him, now it appears, she may face His wrath.
