Monday, February 22nd, 2010 Those who ignore history, make the same mistakes over again. Daniel 9:4-6a Keyword: arrogance

Secular society seems intent on rewriting history. This rewriting of history is fraught with many errors and omissions of the truth. This rewriting of history, because it hides and manipulates the truth, will result in society making the same mistakes over and over again. Slavery in the US is a great example. By hiding the truth and making up a whole new version of history, which is passed off as history, while it is, in reality, both fiction and lie, this new lie, replacing real history, is resulting in a new, and very vile and dangerous, resurgence of racism here in the US.

But the rewriting of the most historically accurate book ever written, the Holy Bible, is even more dangerous, even more insidious.

God’s word tell us not to lie, yet society with the help of liberal “I know what God really meant to say” theologians and preachers, have led society to believe that there are no absolute truths. Resulting in our having an illegal alien occupying the oval office and ruling as president.

God’s Holy Word tells us that If two men are caught, by two or more witnesses, in the very act of homosexuality, they are to be tried, and upon a finding of guilty, executed. Yet in today’s USA, homosexuality is not only allowed, it is glamorized and taught to children as young as five and six. Taught by the same government that takes away the Constitutional right of free speech from any and all who disagree with the radical government supported and encouraged homosexual agenda.

But it gets worse folks, much worse. For we, the Christian world, have ignored and are therefore doomed to repeat the same mistakes made by our older brothers, the children of Israel.

Now, as you read Daniel 9:4-6a, I want you to add the word Apostle to where it reads prophet in verse 6a.

4. And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, “O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments; 5. We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and from Thy judgments: 6a. Neither have we hearkened unto Thy servants the prophets, which spake in Thy name.Daniel 9:4-6a

Folks, we today have something the Israelites did not have, we have the Bible, the most accurate of all history books. But more than history, the Bible contains all the mistakes the children of Israel made, plus the words of Our Lord Jesus, plus all the teachings of God thru His trusted Apostles. Yet, we are making even worse mistakes than the children of Israel made. And folks we have no excuses. One day we will all stand before Jesus, oh how many will not see glory because all they heard and read were twisted versions, politically correct versions of the Word of God, the Holy Bible.
