Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it: Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

Thank God for Steve,
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
How much do you know about the people in the Bible referred to as Samaritans? Now I'm not going to write a book here about them, I'm only going to cover the basics that make John 4:1-30 so absolutely amazing.
The two most important things to keep in mind, as we read today's Scripture, is who the Samaritans were and what they believed. The Samaritans were Jews who, during the Assyrian captivity, intermarried with non Jews. They only believed in the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible.
Now let's read, what I think is the final draft of John 4:1-30 ACP/KJV.
1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, 2 (Though Jesus Himself baptized not, but His disciples,) 3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And He must needs go through Samaria.
5 Then cometh He to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with His journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour(noon). 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give Me to drink. 8 (For His disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto Him, " How is it that Thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans."
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto Him, "Sir, Thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then, hast Thou that living water? 12 Art Thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?"
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw." 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto Him, "Sir, I perceive that Thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship." 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe Me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto Him, "I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things." 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am He.
27 And upon this came His disciples, and marveled that He talked with the woman: yet no man said, "What seekest thou?" or, "Why talkest Thou with her?"
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 "Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?" 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him. (John 4:1-30 ACP/KJV)
Remember who the Samaritans were and what they believed? How they did not rely upon all of the Old Testament, but only the first five books, the books written by Moses which included the Ten Commandments twice, one in Exodus 20 and once in Deuteronomy 5.
Now that point is very important, for with only the first five books of the Bible being preached to her and maybe studied by her, she knew and said: "I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things." Contrast that to what Jesus said when He was talking to the leaders of the Jews: Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words? (John 5:45-47 ACP/KJV)
This Samaritan woman, who only had the first five books of the Bible, the Pentateuch, understood that the Messiah was to come and when He came He would teach all people, even the non-Jews everything. Yet these learned men of the Jews, the Pharisees, did not.
And while the Jewish leaders were trying to discourage people form going and hearing and believing on Jesus, look what happens with the Samaritans: 25 The woman saith unto Him, "I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things." 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am He.
... 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 "Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?" 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him. (John 4:25,26, 28,29.&30 ACP/KJV)
The religious leaders looked for ways to discredit Jesus, the people looked for ways to believe in Him. It is much the same today. Those who seek the Truth will find Him, yet those who rely upon commentary and the once a week church service will instead look for a Messiah yet to come. A Messiah more in line with today's political correctness.
Let me finish by saying, it is better to be a Samaritan that studies God's word than an Orthodox Jew, or devout Roman Catholic or any other that studies commentary and/or relies upon others to tell them what God really meant to say.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
