All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
Remember the difference between thinking and pondering? Well, today's thought, while brief, is one that for those who have read the Bible 5 or less times, will bring about only thinking. Those who have studied God's word and read it more than five times will find food for pondering for today and throughout the weekend.
There are some who have truly studied the word of God and will have an answer in mind already. I will give my answer in Monday's thought.
Let us start with an undeniable fact and an absolute truth. The United States of America was founded as either a fundamental Christian church moving project or a fundamental Christian church planting project. For the Pilgrims came to our shores either to plant expansions to their fundamental Christian church or to move their fundamental Christian church.
By the mid 1700's over 99% of those living in the USA considered themselves to be Protestant Christians with less than 1% claiming to be either Jews or Roman Catholics.
Taking the above historically accurate facts into consideration, of the writings of Paul listed below, which do you believe Jesus would send to His Church of USA today?

This may help. If those in the USA were to be honest today, the numbers would be more like this: under 1% active participating members of a Fundamental Christian church. 40% professing to be Christians, 30% professing to be Roman Catholics, 1% professing to be Jews in one form or another, and the balance divided almost equally between muslims, earth worshipers, and those who lie and claim they believe in no god.
Until Monday; Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus, The Christ, He who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
