Let me finish that; Why do we expect the press to be honest, when so many Pastors in Maine sit on their backsides and refuse to get involved?
Now that I have had a couple of days to calm down I want to tell you about last Saturday.
Last Saturday: Every pastor in the Augusta, Maine area was invited to come and be part of a prayer vigil in front of a place that has no reason to exist other than to further the agenda of satan. I and the organizers were expecting between 200 and 1,000 people. Five showed up, not one local Pastor or local church had any representation.
We were there to protest a store called SpellBound, it is gutter filth. Yet, the police protect it, the city council and mayor salivate over the tax income and the guy from the press was spellbound by the man in the window wearing nothing but a jockstrap.
I don't like putting pictures like this up on ChristianPatriot.com but, I need yuo to see what the pastors in Augusta, Maine are willing to let settle into their neighborhoods without a whimper of protest. It is no wonder there is an abortion clinic around the corner and one of the most infamous homosexual bars just down the street, with pastors like those in Augusta, I'm amazed that the entire porno/sexual deviant industry isn't present.
I have a few things I want to say about the lazy, shiftless, cowards that fill the pulpits in the Augusta area.
After Jesus had His last meal with His before He was crucified, He asked a few to go pray with Him: And He cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And He came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. (Matthew 26:40-43 ACP/KJV)
Do you see the word weak, it is <asthenes>, and it means: strength less (in various applications, literal, figurative and moral):--more feeble, impotent, sick, without strength. Notice that one of the meanings is no strength when it comes to morals. To say that the pastors in the Augusta area lack strength and moral compass is an understatement.
So, what are we to do? If the pastors in Maine will not rally the troops to fight this filth, what are we as Christians nationwide to do? I'm glad you asked.
Does your church plan on sending a group over seas for a short term mission trip? Don't do it, send them to Maine! Why are so many churches sending missionaries overseas when the State of Maine has become one of filth and sexual abominations, a state shortly to be known for Christian ineptitude and the sheer laziness of it's Pastors?
Does your church think that the folks in Africa, Mexico, Indonesia, or any where else are more deserving of salvation than the citizens of Maine? Do you think that the pastors in Africa, Mexico, Indonesia, and else where are any lazier, shiftless and Godless than the slouches drawing church paychecks in the August, Maine area?
Now I will be the first to admit, the police in India, China and Egypt are going to be more tolerant of Christian missionaries than those of Augusta, Maine. The press in Russia, Indonesia, and France are going to give you much more favorable coverage than you'll receive from the press here in Maine. The churches in England, Sweden, Japan, and North Korea are going to give you a much warmer reception than you'll get in Maine. But, are folks in Maine any less deserving of hearing the Gospel?
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20 ACP/KJV)
See where Jesus tells them to go to all "nations" well that word nations is <ethnos> and means: a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by implication, pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people. Doesn't that sound like Maine to you? How much more heathen does Maine have to get before Christians in the rest of the country realize that we need help?
Afterward He appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen.
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:14-18 ACP/KJV)
There will come a time when Jesus will have a chat with these lazy, shiftless, cowards who fill the pulpits in the Augusta area, but in the mean time we need Christians nationwide to pick up the mantel, come to Maine and evangelize.
Last Saturday, while the five of us stood in the cold, as we prayed and help up signs, the other side had dozens of counter protesters. They had shifts, we had just us. For every person who drove by and said something nice to us, there was ten maybe more who stopped and encouraged those who opposed us.
When the cameraman/reporter from Channel Eight came, he gave us ten seconds, he gave the guy with nothing but the jock strap on ten minutes. But then again he gave us more time and attention than the churches in Augusta gave us.
Why do we have abortion? The clergy slept! Why do we have rampant pornography? The clergy slept! Why is the USA the largest importers of drugs and the largest exporters of pornography? Because the clergy is asleep!
In Harrison, Maine, where I live, not one of the so called Christian churches took a stance against the special rights for deviant sexual behavior vote last November, they even celebrated when we lost. Christ agenda lost and satan's passed and the clergy of Harrison, Maine applauded and celebrated. And you want to send missionaries over seas? Wake up church, Maine is the mission field that needs attention.
From my house to the new capital of porn, Water Street in August, takes a bit over two hours to drive. Yu can do a lot of thinking in two hours. Christian men in the USA, get this, we, the fundamental clergy in Maine have lost, we need your help. And the proof of the fact that we have lost is the fact that we won't cry out for help. We have let our pride get in the way of doing the work of the Lord. We not only won't get out ourselves, we won't even cry out for help.
So, if you come, and I pray you will, don't expect help from the local clergy, they will be hostile to you! Don't expect fair treatment from the police, the politicians, the schools, or the media. For if you do not expect to be greeted with open arms you will not be disappointed or surprised when you are spit on.
But, remember the words of the Lord:
And seeing the multitudes, He (Jesus) went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:1-16 ACP/KJV)
Maine is not a mission field for the faint at heart, it is not a mission field for baby Christians, Maine is a hard core stronghold of satan and as such requires men of integrity who are willing to put their freedom on the line for the Lord. The man who heads the police in Maine is Governor John Baldacci, he refers to Evangelical Christian Pastors, such as me, as cuckoos. He flat out hates us and all we stand for. Don't come here thinking this is going to be easy, it won't be. Coming to Maine may just make you a rival for Paul's Record.
Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. Are they ministers of Christ? I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands. (2 Colossians 22-33 ACP/KJV)
No, Maine will not be an easy Missionary field, nor is it just a short term one, but God knows it is a mission field in need.
Lord, we are weak, we are in need of Your help, we are in need of fresh blood willing to fight and die for you, for our forces have become to cowardly to much in fear of loosing face with the enemy, to fear full of being called Fundamentalist. Lord help us, amen.
Special long term daily Prayer Request
They are dong exactly what Jesus instructs all Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians to do, they are complying with:
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Please keep the three of them in your prayers and remember to pray for Don and Theresa too, imagine having three of your babies out in the world.
Thanks and the Lord bless you all ten fold,
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
