Pastor Robert M. Celeste MCAC

You are about to help finish what Saul left undone.

Thursday February 19th, 2003

Yesterday, at the end of the thought, I added this prayer:

"Lord God Creator of all things, we, the people of the USA, give Thee thanks for giving us the second chance we do not deserve. We thank Thee Lord for our brave troops who are at this very instant freeing and liberating people through out the kingdom of satan. Amen. And Lord we beseech Thee that Thou would send to our men a Paul, to preach Your word to them before they go to free those held captive by the forces of evil left by Saul. Touch the Presidents heart Lord, lead him in a direction to send evangelist to our troops, give him the strength Lord to serve You, to use his office, that You have entrusted him with, as Commander in Chief to authorize and send solid evangelical Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian evangelist preachers to bring the Word of God to our troops, giving them both reason to fight and the Lord's plan of salvation.

Lord Jesus, it is in Thy Sacred and Holy Name I pray, Amen."

Since then I have given much thought to what I would preach, if the President sent me. And this is what it would be:

What I am about to say, I say to each of you not as a unit, not as a company, not as a battalion or even a regiment, but each of you individually. I want you to know that what you are to do and in fact have been doing, is not only following the orders of your chain of command, but fulfilling an order given by God some 3,000 plus years ago.

Around the year, 1,025 BC, The Lord God Creator of all things, sent word to the king of Israel at the time, King Saul by way of a seer, or prophet if you will, named Samuel. As I read what God told Saul to do, and about Sauls great disobedience to God, you will start to understand how each of you is in fact fulfilling that order given to Saul, since Saul himself refused to do as the Lord God had ordered.

Samuel said unto Saul,

"The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over His people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts,

I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah. And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley. And Saul said unto the Kenites, "Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt." So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

But, he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following Me, and hath not performed My commandments.

And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night. And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, "Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal." Then Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, "Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD."

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, "They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed."

Then Samuel said unto Saul, "Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night." And Saul said unto Samuel, Say on. And Samuel said, "When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel? And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

And Saul said unto Samuel, "Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal."

And Samuel said, "Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in your obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king."

And Saul said unto Samuel, "I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD."

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel (1 Samuel 15:1-26)

The Amalekites were a people that God despised, He ordered Saul to destroy them, yet Saul choose not to. In Sauls refusing to obey the orders of God, Saul found himself not only out of the Lord's favor, but fired as well, for God would now bring David in to replace Saul as King of Israel. David, tried to undue the damage done by Saul he later went back to destroy the Amalekites that Saul had left unharmed. Yet, even though we see David fighting the Amalekites again and again, he never got them all. As we trace the lives and histories of the Amalekites, some interesting names come up, all of them extremists all of them in this part of the world, all of them still enslaving and killing Arab peoples. One such name is Arafat, another that might be traced back is Bin laden and still another, one who claims to be the direct decedent of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the one you are here to disarm, whose enslaved peoples you are here to free, saddam hessian.

Have you ever asked yourself how enslaved the people are that you are in the process of freeing, of liberating, of giving life to?

Just about 2,000 years ago God left His throne in heaven and came to earth as a baby named Jesus. In Hebrew His name would be Yeshua, and He was and is the Christ, the Messiah, the very one that all who are truly Christians follow, yet, right here in what we often refer to as the Holy Land, Christ is not allowed to be preached, Christians are routinely sold into slavery, raped, whipped, beat and killed. How you ask could this happen in the very land where the Christ came, was born, suffered and ultimately died and rose again from death three days later.

It happens because people like saddam hussein kill anyone one who does not, not only follow his orders, but does not in essence worship whom he says they must worship. As you and your fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Air Force and Marines have done in Afghanistan, so must you now do here in Iraq. For, as you have so successfully brought light, truth, freedom and life to the people of Afghanistan, so must you now do so for the people of Iraq. And why you, why are you called to free these people? Why is it that we from the USA must be the ones to put our lives and fortunes on the line to free these people? Because we are the ones that God is now calling to finish what Saul left undone 3,000 years ago.

And what are these words that the likes of the taliban and saddam hussein are so opposed to?

What is the teachings that they are so petrified their people will hear?

What are the word that you are about to fight so that the people here can hear?

Listen carefully for it is the freedom to hear and read these words, that you are about to bring to the enslaved people of Iraq, not all will hear, not all who hear will understand, but for the first time in a long time, at least they will have the opportuinty to hear these life giving words.

John Chapter Three

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him." Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, "How can these things be?" Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:1-21)

But, as you read the words of the Lord Jesus, while you see that you must be Born Again, and that the Lord came not to condemn but to give all a way to be Saved, His words here in John don't exactly tell you how to be Saved, so it is not just for the above that you are here, but these words dictated to the Apostle Paul by God as well. For it is these words that give step by step instructions on how one goes from slavery to satan and a guarantee of everlasting damnation to being Born Again and eternity of everlasting Glory with the Lord Jesus.

So, what are the steps that the dictators who serve and worship satan don't want the people to hear?

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (Romans 5:1) In this verse Paul tells us that the way to salvation is started by simply having faith in Jesus, understanding that Jesus is God, that He came to earth, not to condemn, but to give all a way to salvation.

These dictators that you are liberating the people of Iraq from, just as you have already liberated the people of Afghanistan, know that what separates man for salvation is our own disobedience. They know that as long as they can keep God's word out of their hands and hearing, they can keep their enslaved peoples from ever reconciling with God for by keeping God's words out of their hands allows them to continue to preach their satan worship and hate. The hate that kills a woman for showing her face, the hate that led 23 deranged satan worshiping individual to steal and use four planes on September 11th, 2001, to kill over 3,000 men women and children in our USA.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; But being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Romans 3:23-25) Paul tells us here that God tells us that none of us can work our way into heaven that none of us are good enough to be worthy of God and salvation, but that faith in what the Lord did on the Cross is the first step in getting out of slavery to satan and on the way to Salvation. For, Paul tells us that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Through the Apostle Paul the Lord has expounded on what HE said in John chapter three, and has clarified the meanings to show us that the first step to salvation is the acceptance of what Jesus did for us. Basically having Faith in the Lord, trusting Him, believing not only in Him, but ON Him. Now, what is the difference between believing in and believing on? Well, each of you believe that your fathers are your fathers, and you do tend to trust them, but when you were little, say two years old or so, then, you not only believed in, but on. For when you were little, if your dad put you on a table, and took a step back and held out his hands and said to you with a smile on his face,"Come here". You headed towards him, you gave no thought to falling off or walking off the end of the table, for you had faith in your dad, you trusted your dad, you knew your dad would not let you get hurt, you knew he would catch you in his arms, you believed in your dad. Today, you still know he is your dad, but if you were on the edge of a roof and he said, with a smile on his face, "Come here", although you know he is your dad, and you don't think he would do anything to hurt you, your are likely to say "Are you sure you will catch me, are you sure you can catch me?" you see, today you believe in your dad, when you were young and had 100% faith in him, you believed on your dad.

Scripture teaches us that simply believing in Jesus is not enough, for the half brother of the Lord Jesus had a brother named James and this is what James said about claims of believing in God without taking the proper steps to salvation: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19) So, you see, simply believing in Jesus is not enough, for even the devils believe in the Lord.

So, what is it that these dictators don't want their enslaved and damned to know:

This, this is what they are going to fight to keep their people from hearing, knowing, and reading. For after you liberate them, their people will be allowed to hear these words, while many will remain in the grasp of satan, it will be by their own choice not by dictate put on them by the saddam hussein's of the world.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9) That's it, that is what satan and his minions, the dictators of Iraq and Afghanistan, north Korea, China and other countries fear, for while the Lord has made being Born Again an absolute must, He has also made it achievable to all, He has made it so that the strongest man on earth can attain it as can the guy who had his spine blown out in Nam and can not even blink his eyes. God has made it so that the guy with four PhD's can attain it but has made it simple enough and understandable enough that the forty year old that is still playing with blocks on the floor can achieve it as well.

You see, what they fear is that the ones they control will know that to be guaranteed eternal glory with the Lord God Creator of all things, is a simple as saying:

"Lord Jesus, I am sorry, I am sorry for the things I have said, done, thought and even dreamt, I am sorry for all the years that I have ignored You. Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, that You came down from heaven and shed Your blood on the cross so that I might not have to spend eternity in hell, but can have eternal life in heaven with you. Lord please forgive me, please Lord take control of my life, Lord please let me be Yours. Lord I use my free will that You have given me to give myself to You. Amen. For that is proof that you: believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. It also responds to the Lords command that to be saved, one must repent of his sins. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:17)

And then there is but one thing left, a thing that is even easier than the prayer above, for to accomplish this next step if you were serious with the prayer above, the Holy Spirt of God is now within you and will help you by giving you strength of character, a strength of character that you never thought yourself capable of having, and that step is to: tell others that Jesus is the Christ, that is what is meant by: thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus.

You see, what the dictators over here fear more than anything is the god they serve, satan, and there is nothing that satan fears more than Christ. Leaders like bin laden and saddam hussein keep their people enslaved and away for the word of God out of fear for their god satan. They know that once Christ comes in they are toast. Think about it for a minute, if binladen and hussein had one iota of sense they would know that it would be a hundred percent better for them to rot in a jail in the USA than to face you. Look around, look at the man power, look at the weapons, look at the determination, and look at the word of God, the Word that told Saul to eliminate God's enemies 3,000 years ago, and now God is looking to you to help finish the job that Saul left undone.

And that is why you, the finest fighting men in the world are here. You are here to free a people who are enslaved not only to a dictator, a terrorist, but a slave of satan as well.

Lord Jesus in Thy Holy and Sacred name I ask the Father for the salvation of our young men and women who are here to fulfill their part in bringing Your word to the world. Amen.

God blessed America when she feared Him, now it appears, she may face His wrath.
