Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it: Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

Thank God for Steve,
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
Day 4 of 40,
In Genesis 1:28, God says "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth". In Psalm 127:3-5 we read "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is (H)his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
What good is a family without children? Do not children fill out a family? Is it not the having of children that makes a family whole? With those words said, I am going to give some unsolicited advice to those men who are marrying women who have children by a previous marriage. "Get her pregnant fast, have children, as soon as possible." And for women who are marrying men when there are children from past marriage(s) in the picture; "Get pregnant, bring as many new little faces into the family as possible as fast as possible."
"Why?" you ask. Because the children from the previous marriage(s) will accept the new children quickly and therefore having a bond and something in common with the new parent.
Praise God for the children you have and if you have no children, go to the Lord in prayer asking Him to trust you with some.
Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
And Elkanah had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah, Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
And Elkanah went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there. And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, "Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?"
So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk.
Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, "O LORD of hosts, if Thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head."
And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee!" And Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto."
Then Eli answered and said, "Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of Him." And she said, "Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight."
So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, "Because I have asked him of the LORD."
And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow. But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, "I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever." And Elkanah her husband said unto her, "Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word."
So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him. And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young. And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli. And she said, "Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD. For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of Him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD."
And he worshipped the LORD there. And Hannah prayed, and said, "My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in Thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside Thee: neither is there any Rock like our God.
Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: He bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory.
For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and He hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall He thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and He shall give strength unto His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed."
And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest. (1 Samuel 1:1-2:11)
Hannah went to the Lord in prayer asking for a son. She promised to dedicate him, for his entire life, to serving the Lord. Then she followed through. What about you? Have you or will you dedicate your children to the Lord? And if you do, will you then raise your children in the way of the Lord or will you raise them in the ways of Donald Trump, Oprah, Dr. Phil and Dr. Laura?
On your own continue reading 1 Samuel, read 2:12 thru 2:36. For the way you dedicate and raise your child is the way they will go. Now they may, as did I, change and become servants of the Lord. But rest assured it will be an easier path for them if you dedicate them to and cause them to be raised in the fear and love of the Lord.
As we focus on the family over this 40 days, you will oft times see me use this quote: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
Guys, as you and your wife dress your little girl(s), remember the words of Dr. Kent Hovind "If you're not selling, don't advertise." As you pick out her clothing, are you dressing her as if she were selling? Can you tell her from a street walker? How you dress and treat that little girl is how she will turn out. Are you putting your family, their salvation and safety ahead of the worldly things like your job, a nice home, and what the neighbors think etc?
Oh Lord God of Creation, help us to get our priorities straight, help us to be dedicated first to You, then to our wife, then to our brethren and then to our unsaved family and kin. So, Lord help us to assure that our children are not only our children and kin, but our brethren as well.
Thank You JESUS. Amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
