I have had a dream and I have something to say. John 8:44

On the night of Saturday March 20th and Sunday March 21st, 2020 I had a dream. In that dream I came to understand that once a month a city in the USA had a nuclear explosion. As a result, one of the things that happened was that the government was unable or unwilling to continue to pay Social Security retirement benefits.

Now, I have something to say.

First, in chapter six of John, Jesus, The Christ, is quoted, by John, as saying:

Then said they unto Him, “What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent.

They said therefore unto Him, “What sign shewest Thou then, that we may see, and believe Thee? what dost Thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Then said they unto Him, “Lord, evermore give us this bread.” And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Jews then murmured at Him, because He said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that He saith, I came down from heaven?” Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall be all taught of God’. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?” Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this Bread shall live for ever. These things said He in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. From John Chapter Six

Many times after having spoken in a parable, Jesus took the time to explain to His closest followers, often in detail, what He meant. But the above He left to the Holy Spirit to teach after His death, resurrection, and ascension. And so will I leave it to be between you and the Holy Ghost. If God wants you to understand it He will explain it to you, if you go to Him in prayer and sincerity in wanting to know, and of course if you are truly a Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian.

Now for my last point of the day, let us jump to John chapter eight.

I was asked recently if it bothered me to have those who rely more on commentary than Bible study criticizing, laughing at, and even making fun of me. Two things came to mind in response to that question. First no it really doesn’t bother me, it use to, but not any more. Since taking off a year, God has shown me a lot, has taught me a lot, and has given me a great and overwhelming peace. He has shown me that there are few who want to chew on bones and even fewer that do. But He has also shown me that when Scripture is spoken and used in context, those that laugh may later remember and hunt for the truth themselves. He said to me “Bob some plant, some water, but God always get’s the increase.” As I look at my life and my associations, I see that there are those He has entrusted me to plant and here are those HE has entrusted me to water. When the criticisms and the laughter stop I will start to worry.

The dream in the first paragraph is not the first dream the Lord has given me, it is simply the first He has ever given me that I felt was for all and not just for me. For the other dream(s) dealt with our relationship, His and mine.

Getting back to the question of does it bother me to have those who rely more on commentary than Bible study criticizing, laughing at, and even making fun of me. The second thing that came to mind, regarding that question, was how Jesus answered much the same problem.

They answered Him, “We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest Thou, ‘Ye shall be made free?’” Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill Me, because My word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with My Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

They answered and said unto Him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill Me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father.

Then said they to Him, “We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.” Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe Me not. From John chapter eight.

Look folks I have said this before and I shall say it again, I want that chair to the right of Jesus. I am not trying to impress you nor am I trying to make your life easy, I am working for Christ, I want that chair beside Him that God the Father has reserved to give unto whomsoever He chooses. If what I say bothers you, so be it, take it up with God or show me where in Scripture I have erred. I preach Christ, take it or leave it, hear it and study or ignore it and go back to your commentaries. But do not expect me to change to appease you and your itchy ears.

One last thing, yes at times I am surprised by who laugh and criticize. But then I think of the Bible version they use and how their comments do not often seem to be original but a rehash of what was said in this book or that, this video or that. One cannot and will not chew on bones by watching videos and reading 'Christian" books. One chews on bones by going to the Bible with the Holy Ghost as a guide. Many do not want to do that because they know that God will change them in a way that will make them less popular. They don't want to put in the effort I believe is necessary to get that chair to the right of the Lord.

Thank You Jesus. Amen.
