But, what is God's will? Wednesday March 5th, 2003

Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord", shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to Me, in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?"

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Jesus tells us that on the day of judgement, that many will kneel before Him bragging about what they have done in His name. They will, while on bended knees, while groveling at His feet, with hope in their voices say "Lord, Lord, remember all the things I did in Your name, I prophesied, I spoke in tongues, I healed the sick, I cast out devils, I, I, I..." Why will they be groveling in hope instead of standing tall in confidence? They will be groveling and squirming because of two things the Lord has warned us about in these three verses, two things they ignored.

"Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord", shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven." Who gets into heaven? "he that doeth the will of My Father" and what happens to those who don't do the will of the Father? "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity."

So, in the day of judgement, many will come, they will bow down, they will squirm, they will beg, they will try to bluff their way into heaven saying "Lord, Lord, remember all the things I did in Your name, I prophesied, I spoke in tongues, I healed the sick, I cast out devils, I, I, I..."

But, Jesus will say to them "depart from Me, ye that work iniquity."

They healed the sick, the drove out devils, they spoke in tongues, they prophesied, they did wonderful works in the name of the Lord, why are they going to eternal damnation, what is it that they didn't do, how is it that they missed doing the one thing they had to do, "doeth the will of My Father"?

What is the will of the Father?

And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in My name receiveth Me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father which is in heaven.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. (Matthew 18:2-14)

So, what is the will of God? God's will is that none perish. And how strong is that will, how much is God willing to do so that all can have a way to avoid perishing?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,

so that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16.17,&18)

Jesus summarized the answer to the question "What is the will of God?" Using just thirteen words, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

We are a nation at war! While much of the world cowers in fear at the thought of upsetting the muslim hordes who have vowed to destroy us, we as a nation are taking this war head on. It is at times like this, that the American Christian shines, for it is at times like this that we have always put our fears aside and done what is right. We did it against those who would enslave us in 1776, we did against those of us who would enslave other of us in 1862, we did it again in 1923 and 1944 when the children of the country of Gomer would have enslaved all of Europe and destroyed those who claim to be the seed of Abraham. We did it in Korea in the fifties and Vietnam in the sixties and seventies. It was us that liberated people of Kuwait and the people of Afghanistan. And now it will be the American Christian that will free and liberate the people of Iraq, Syria, Iran and Egypt.

Yes, we are a nation at war and as at every other time, the results of our going to war will be two fold, one people will be free and second, most importantly, people will be able to hear about the Word of God, by reading the Holy Christian Bible, the King James 1611 Authorized version, many for the first time in their lives without the threat of death.

Let us ask God for two things this morning, let us first ask Him for blessings and salvation for those who go to fight and their chain of command. And second let us ask Him for the patience to not hate those within our own country that take the side of the enslaver over the liberators. Lord, hear our prayer I beseech Thee, amen.

Lord God Creator of all things, we, the people of the USA, give Thee thanks for giving us the second chance we do not deserve. We thank Thee Lord for our brave troops who are at this very instant freeing and liberating people through out the kingdom of satan. Amen. And Lord we beseech Thee that Thou would send to our men a Paul, to preach Your word to them before they go to free those held captive by the forces of evil left by Saul. Touch the Presidents heart Lord, lead him in a direction to send evangelist to our troops, give him the strength Lord to serve You, to use his office, that You have entrusted him with, as Commander in Chief to authorize and send solid evangelical Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian evangelist preachers to bring the Word of God to our troops, giving them both reason to fight and the Lord's plan of salvation.
Lord Jesus, it is in Thy Sacred and Holy Name I pray, Amen.

All Scripture is quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.

God blessed America when she feared Him, now it appears, she may face His wrath.
