Two questions and an answer and a half. Monday March 10th, 2003
We all know what prejudice is, but is it an act of prejudice when the ones who are the victims not only don't do anything to stop it, but are both part and parcel to it and even reward those who are responsible it.
Is it a lie when God takes no action against it and even rewards the liar?
Question number one: The two countries that have the most elective abortions are China and India. In both of those countries, 90% of these elective abortions are sex selective. In other words, 90% of the elective, not ones forced by the government, but ones in which the mother takes her baby trapped in her womb to an abortionist, and has the abortionist kill her baby, are done to little baby girls. Think about it, 90% of the elective abortions in China and India are done to little baby girls.
Now the majority of shopping done here in the USA is done by women. Most of the clothes, small appliances, household goods and decorations bought here in the USA are bought by women. Most of the stuff they buy is made in China. If women in the USA cared at all about these little baby girls in the womb, were at all upset by the government policy of only one child per family that results in the abortion of these little girls, and showed their outrage by boycotting products made in China, one of two things would happen. Either the Chinese government would end this practice of selective infanticide by doing away with their policy of allowing only one child per family or Chinese business would be showing a much smaller profit. And it is the same with India and goods made in India.
But since women in the USA and the other 'civilized' nations don't care, and since it is women who are doing this to themselves and their babies, is it really an act of prejudice to select mostly baby girls in the womb to slaughter?
Of course it is, for even if we turn our backs, as we have to the slavery, rape and murder done to Christian children in the Sudan by muslims. It is still an act of prejudice. And so it is with the slaughter of innocent little baby girls trapped in the wombs of their mothers in China and India. Little baby girls who are taken to butchers by their mothers and ripped apart for no other reason than that they are girls. Even though the world and women in particular condone, by their continued buying of products produced in and by these perpetrator nations, such slaughter it is none the less an act of extreme prejudice.
Question two deals with lies. Is it a lie when God takes no action against it and even rewards the liar?
As soon as Joshua took the children of Israel across the river Jordan, he sent two men out to spy on the city of Jericho. These two men were almost captured by the police of Jericho and would have been caught had it not been for a prostitute/innkeeper named Rahab. For Rahab took the two men and hid them. When the police came and asked her where they were, she said "I don't know". An out and out lie for she knew exactly were they were, for she had hidden them on her roof.
And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, "Go view the land, even Jericho."
And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, "Behold, there came men in hither tonight of the children of Israel to search out the country."
And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, "Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country." And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, "There came men unto me, but I know not whence they are: And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I know not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them."
But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof. (Joshua 2:1-6)
Now, Rahab lied, plain and simple, she lied. But, as you read Joshua further, you'll find that Rahab and her family were rewarded by God for her lies. So, does that mean she didn't lie? Does that mean that when God rewards one for lying the lying is ok? Now I know some of you are going to say that God was rewarding her for saving the two spies that Joshua had sent out. Not so, do you not think that God could have saved them without having to rely on a lying prostitute?
No, what Rahab did was lie, plain and simple, she lied! And it was not for that lying that she was rewarded by having the lives of her and her family spared. It was her conversion and acceptance of the God of Israel as God of the Universe.
And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.
And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; And she said unto the men,
"I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." (Joshua 2:7-11)
There is only one way to be rewarded by God and that is to accept Him. It was true at the time or Rahab, around 1400 BC and it true today. As Rahab confessed that the God that Israel worshiped is the God of the universe, so must we confess that the Messiah, Christ Jesus is one and the same with God the Father, the God of the Universe.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you made Him number one in your life? Have you truly become a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian?
If not, what are you waiting for? The Lord be with you all, amen.
Lord God Creator of all things, we, the people of the USA, give Thee thanks for giving us the second chance we do not deserve. We thank Thee Lord for our brave troops who are at this very instant freeing and liberating people through out the kingdom of satan. Amen. And Lord we beseech Thee that Thou would send to our men a Paul, to preach Your word to them before they go to free those held captive by the forces of evil left by Saul. Touch the Presidents heart Lord, lead him in a direction to send evangelist to our troops, give him the strength Lord to serve You, to use his office, that You have entrusted him with, as Commander in Chief to authorize and send solid evangelical Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian evangelist preachers to bring the Word of God to our troops, giving them both reason to fight and the Lord's plan of salvation.
Lord Jesus, it is in Thy Sacred and Holy Name I pray, Amen.
All Scripture is quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
God blessed America when she feared Him, now it appears, she may face His wrath.
