First case: Let's say you are some place and suddenly a person you know is dying, heart attack, accident, whatever, but all of a sudden this person is dying. And they know they are dying and they know you are a Christian and they see you and call for you. Then that person says to you: "I'm dying, I'm scared, I don't want to go to hell. What must I do to be Saved?" It is obvious that person will not live another ten minutes, what do you do?

Second case: In Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, in chapter ten, he mentions that temptations for sin are not of God. That God is faithful and will always give you an escape route when temptations come. And that God will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability to deny that temptation. So, what do you do when you are tempted? How do you escape?

Third case: You are in a church and the Pastor is about to start the Communion ceremony. He starts it by reading these words: "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." What do you do?

In the first case, a person you know is dying, he or she is a close friend or relative, you know them to be unsaved. Another friend who is an emergency room nurse there tells you that your friend or relative is dying. There is no way he or she will live another ten minutes. More than likely he or she will be dead in under five minutes. And then you hear he or she call your name and say: "I'm dying, I'm scared, I don't want to go to hell. What must I do to be Saved?"

Can you tell them in three minutes or under what they MUST do to be Saved? Remember Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. You are this dying person's last hope of hearing the plan of salvation. Can you do it in under three minutes? Do you even know the plan of salvation?

" the dying persons name, God's Holy Word, the Bible, tells us that Jesus came to earth to give all a way to heaven. To get there you must, truthfully and with all your heart, comply fully with what I am about to tell you. We do not have time for questions or arguments! Jesus said: Unless a man is born again, he will not see the kingdom of heaven! He went on and said: That whosoever believeth In Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him would have the way be saved. All that believeth on Jesus are not condemned: but any man woman or child who does not believe in Jesus are condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

" the dying persons name, this is what you MUST do. First you MUST confess that you know that Jesus is God, second you MUST confess to Jesus that you know you are a sinner and that you are not worthy to be in His heaven, that you're guilty of being a sinner and that you know you deserve eternal pain and suffering in hell. Then you MUST ask Jesus to both forgive you and accept you as His adopted child."

" the dying persons name, if you are serious, then say this prayer after me: 'Lord Jesus, I know You are God, I know that I am a horrible sinner unworthy of You and worthy only of eternal damnation, but Lord, I beg You please forgive me and please accept me as Your adopted child. Please Jesus, amen."

It's called the Romans Road and it is something you need to get and study. For how can you call yourself a Christian if you don't even know how to lead a dying person to the Lord?

Case two: You have been married now about fifteen years, and you and your spouse just had a fight. And lo and behold as you walk down the street, you bump into an old high school flame, and you know what, that old flame looks just as good today as back in high school. And that old flame not only recognizes you, but stops you and suggests the two of you have a drink for old times' sake. Before you can answer, that old flame says: "You probably never knew this, but back when we where in high school, I was madly in love with you. It was you I used to dream about, it was you I wanted to take my virginity, and you know something else, I have never gotten over you. My apartment is just around the corner, let's go up for that drink."

What do you do? Where is the escape route? Your spouse is mad at you, your spouse has gained forty pounds since high school, and because of bills, mortgage payments, a broken down car, the kids having the flu and a bunch of other things you have both been going to bed without taking a shower and too tired to even kiss goodnight. And here is that old flame who hasn't gained an ounce. By the old flame's dress, it is obvious the old flame is doing well financially. Not a hair is out of place, and not an ounce of flab to be hinted at. What do you do? Where is that escape route God has promised?

Or maybe the temptation is to steal, not steal something big, but just a handful of grapes as you walk through the produce department in the grocery store, or a pen from work, or maybe it is to round off that expense account report up to the next highest ten dollars just to round it off. Or perhaps the temptation is to cheat God out of all or some of your tithes.

The answer is all the same, for God has given you an escape route. Oh sure satan is tempting you and God is allowing it to happen. But, God is faithful to tell the truth and He has promised that you will not be tempted beyond your ability to withstand and He will give you the way out. So, what is that way out? Simple, stop and say the Lord's prayer. In the first instance of the old flame, say it out loud. That old flame needs to hear those words as badly as you need their help. In the other instances saying it to yourself will be fine.

Father in heaven, hallowed, holy, and sacred is Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done here on earth just as it is in heaven.

Oh Lord, give me this day my daily bread, not just the bread that has packed on these extra forty pounds Lord, but the true Bread of Life Lord, the Bread of Your Word.

Jesus, please forgive my sins; Forgive me Lord for the things I have said, done, thought, am thinking, and even dreamt that have offended Thee, for those things that offend Thee Lord are sin.

Lord Jesus do not allow me to be led into temptation and please deliver me from evil, from the evil one, his minions and his ilk, and those who serve him knowingly and unknowingly.

Thank You Lord for all glory, honor, praise and worship are yours and yours only.

Now tell the old flame is was nice to see him or her again, and go home to your husband or wife. Put the grapes back, the pen back in your desk, re-figure the expense account or whatever, fully tithe, and thank God for hearing your prayer and rescuing you again.

Case number three: Pastor is about to start the Communion ceremony, by reading these words: "Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." What do you do?

The same thing you should always do when in doubt, turn to the Word of God and His word. If you are not familiar with what you are to do to get ready to partake of the Lord's communion meal, read, ponder and decide what to do.

That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.

After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew( kat-ang-gel'-lo; proclaim, promulgate:--declare, preach, shew, speak of, teach) the Lord's death till He come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. So let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, for not discerning the Lord's body.

For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep(have died). For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. (1 Corinthians 11:23b-33 ACP/KJV)

So, what's that all mean? Simply put it means this, before you take communion, do this: Ask yourself if you understand that the reason for communion is to remind you of what the Lord did for you and to cause you to ponder your own life. Do you have anything to lay at the altar of Jesus's feet as either a praise or in asking for forgiveness? Do you have anything between you and a brother or sister in the Lord? In the words of the Lord:

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, "Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye"; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

So, when you come to the communion table, before you take the cup and the wine, remember, you are not recrucifying the Lord, you are remembering what He did for you. It is a time for you to silently bring your sins before the Lord asking Him for forgiveness, to give Him thanks for what He did on the cross for you, to ask forgiveness of any brother or sister you have offended. And a time to silently ponder your life and relationship with the Lord God of Creation, He who shed His Blood for you, Christ Jesus, our Lord and our Saviour.

Special long term daily Prayer Request

God has blessed me with four mentor pastors, one of which is Rev. Don Demars. Don has a wonderful wife, Theresa, and ten of the greatest Christ loving kids in the world. Don's three oldest Dusty, Allie and Casey off to the mission field. KC is in Romania, Dusty is in India and Allie is in Panama this coming Thursday.

They are dong exactly what Jesus instructs all Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians to do, they are complying with:
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Please keep the three of them in your prayers and remember to pray for Don and Theresa too, imagine having three of your babies out in the world.

Thanks and the Lord bless you all ten fold,

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
