Oh, for sure, a glass of water would be nice, and I am sure she would appreciate it for a moment, but, the Gospel of Jesus and Salvation through His blood, now that is the thirst quencher that Terri and millions upon millions of others really need.
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, "Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, if we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Jesus is the stone which was set at nought by you builders, which has now become the Head cornerstone of the Church. Neither is there salvation by or thru any other: for there is no other name than Jesus, under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Paraphrased Acts 4:8-12 ACP/KJV)
So, sure I am positive Terri would cry out for water, but as a, in the words of her parents devout Roman Catholic, she is on the very verge of not only death, but the sudden, abrupt and, to her eternal horror, shattering knowledge that there aint no purgatory. Terri was raised an idolater a member of the most insidious of all the cults, the Roman Catholic church. Yes, Terri needs water, but she needs Christ more and Salvation much, much more.
Shortly some guy in black is going to come to her and force her to undergo the cultist practice of last rites, these last rites are the last chance the Roman Catholic church gets to have Terri deny Christ and put her faith in the pope and cultist Christ-withholding tradition. What her husband has put her through isn't enough, now her parents want to insure the damnation of her soul.
Guys, we need to pray for Terri's salvation. We need to go to the Lord in prayer and beg Him to send someone into her dark and miserable room, someone who can face the horrors of seeing this Terri who has been tortured over a ten day period. Someone who can face Terri without vomiting. Someone who can look at Terri, whose mouth is bleeding and whose lips are cracked, whose eyes are sunken and the smell of death, disease, and human waste permeates the very air of the room she is condemned to die in. Someone to preach Salvation through the Blood of Christ to Terri before she takes that last painful tortured breath.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Jesus is Lord over all and is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Jesus shall be saved. But, How then shall they call on Jesus in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Jesus of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? For, as it is written, HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, AND BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS! (Paraphrased from Romans 10:12-15 ACP/KJV)

Over the past ten days we have seen a degree of Bible ignorance and cowidice unrivaled over the last 50 years. The Bush brothers, neither of which was notable for individual courage before, have shown their true colors, but even worse they, both of whom profess to read God's word, the Holy Bible, have turned their backs on and ignored the very words of Jesus.
And there went great multitudes with Him: and He turned, and said unto them: If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. One has to put Jesus and all He teaches first to be a Christian. One has to put the words of Christ ahead of the proclamations, edicts and death sentence condemning a woman to death by starvation and dehydration by a secular world judge.
And whosoever doth not bear His cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple. To claim to be a Christian, while not being willing to do what Jesus teaches and preaches, to do what Jesus tells us to do is to be not a Christian, but a liar, a coward and one unworthy to call himself a Christian.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, "This man began to build, and was not able to finish."
Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. Many in the body politic, including both President Bush and Governor Bush did not count the cost before opening their mouths about rescuing Terri. Now both have been shown to be subservient and cowardly to Judge Greer. Both have had to eat humble pie and hide their faces. Both have been made to look like cowards by one little two bit judge in Florida. Because they did not sit down and count the cost, and because they have put the rule of one judge ahead of the life of one woman, ahead of the very words of God Himself.
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out.
These are tough words spoken by the Lord, Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. See that word "Salt", change it to 'one who claims to be a Christian'. Now see that word "savour", change it to 'love of and obedience to Christ'. And change that "It", the first word in the last sentence to 'one who claims to be a Christian'.
So that now it reads:
One who claims to be a Christian is good: but if the one who claims to be a Christian have lost his love of and obedience to Christ, wherewith shall it be seasoned? This one who claims to be a Christian is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast this one who claims to be a Christian out.

At this point in time, the most important thing any Christian can do is pray for the salvation of Terri, for she is in imminent fear of death. We should not fail to pray for the Bush family as well, nor should we fail to pray for all of the men in Terri's family, for soon enough Terri will be free of this torture and if God hears and answers our prayers, she will be received by Him. But, if we fail to pray, she will, unless the Lord has already sent one in to preach salvation to her and let the Holy Spirit guide her to understand and accept Salvation, find that there aint no purgatory and praying to statues and Mary gets you the lake of fire eternally, not paradise.
I am sure that the Bush's and the men in Terri's family are already suffering horrible pangs of guilt, if they are not, they are no more human and caring than Terri's adulterous husband. And for them we should pray as well, for while what they have done is despicable and cowardly, they atre no less in need of both our prayers and Christ salvation. For Jesus did not leave heaven to come to earth and go through what He went through jsut for you and me, but for cowards and even scallywags too.
As I look out my window, I see that it is snowing. Snow never fails to remind me of God's awesome powers. Not far from our house are several notable ski resorts, those at the ski resorts work night after night, hour after hour to put 4 or 5 inches of snow on forty or fifty acres of ski trails, yet in just a few hours, God will cover millions and millions of acres with six, eight, ten, twelve or even more inches of snow.
This same God so loves us that He left heaven, came to earth, was tortured, whipped, beat, nailed to a cross, stabbed and tossed into a grave, just so that we could call upon His name and find eternal salvation and eternal peace with Him, not as His slave, but as His adopted brothers and sisters. Let us ask Him to please send one of us to Terri and let her be part of our family as well. Later, after all is calmed down and our emotions are back in check, I will be asking you to ask God to let the despicable cowards who caused this and allowed this, to be part of our family as well.
Lord Jesus, Thou who with God the Father and God the Holy Ghost created all things, including Terri, would You please send one of our family to explain to Terri the importance of turning to You? For it is in Your name Lord Jesus that we come to You and ask, not as strangers or as bond servants, but as Your adopted, emotional, scared, little brothers and sisters. Amen.
The Lord bless you all and may He heal Mel's eyes and Myra's ears. May He be with Colby as he has now arrived at Paris Island and strted boot camp, A Christian babe amongst many a wolf. Amen.
May the Lord understand the importance of Mac, Cecily, Steve, and Rev. Jim Marstaller to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.
There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is Saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
