Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it: Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

Thanks to ACP's Steve Burzlaff, we now have the Evanglical handout, "What If" in PDF format.

Thank God for Steve,
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
Day 28 of 40,
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Luke 12:15-34)
Have you ever pondered the word of God? Oh, I don't mean pondering the things written in the Bible, but God's word itself, the importance and power of God's spoken word. Let me give you an idea of what I mean. The power of God's spoken word:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Now, note God didn't send Michael off with a pickup and a bunch of angels to Lowes for a load of lumber, no, He spoke.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. and it was so.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and it was so.
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. and it was so.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
Get the hint? God's word is, putting it mildly, the most powerful force in the universe. Jesus spoke and people received their sight and were healed from all manner of disease, devils left men and women, the seas and wind were calmed, food was multiplied many thousands of times over, and the dead were given life. That is the power of God's word, yet we have a tendency to read it, shake our heads up and down and then ignore it if it makes us the least bit uncomfortable.
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:11-13)
This thought is going to have very little commentary, instead we shall let God's word speak for itself. For what God is telling us through the pen of Paul in Paul's writing to the Philippians is to be content with what God has given you.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)
Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, "What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?" And he said, "This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.'"
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. Life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Luke 12:15-34)
Men, we have been silent for too long. Our silence is costing our families dearly. Since 1962, Christ has been kicked out of public schools, the courts, and all public places. The first degree premeditated murder of babies trapped in the womb has become not only legal but is funded with YOUR money. The absolute filth and abomination to God of homosexuality is legal, considered an acceptable alternative life style and is pushed upon your kids in the public schools. How did all this happen? Simple, we have been silent for too long, we have tried to go along to get along. And our kids and grandkids are going to pay the price, a high price, for our slumber.
Before we go to the Lord in prayer, let us look at just a bit more of what God has spoken.
Woe unto them that call/teach/cause to be believed evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: (Isaiah 5:20-25)
Most versions in verse 20 say "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil" but that word call is in the Hebrew amar. It is pronounced aw-mar. It means so much more than calls, it means calls, teaches, causes to believe, leads to believe, insinuates, and more. All of the evil today that is designed to make anyone think it is not evil is covered in Isaiah 5. Abortion, idolatry, worldliness, coveting , praying amiss, compromising the Word of God and His word, homosexuality, lying, cheating, adultery, promiscuous and out of marriage sex, etc.
Let us pray: Lord please help us and our families to have a thankful heart, a heart covetous of You, Your word and all You have given us, not one longing for the things of this world. Help us Lord to find the strength to stand up for You, and not satan, for we know that there are no other choices to belong to.
Lord give us direction, direction that helps us store up treasures in heaven for we know that Your word is true, Your word is truth and it is by Your word we will stand in judgement and You have clearly said "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Thank You Jesus for it is in Your name we pray to the Father, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
