Rev. Bob Celeste
After all that Janice and I and others to include Allen have gone through recently, I think we all need a lesson in prayer at times. Here is one that I put together and have been using in trying to adjust my prayers to something more meaningful. I know this not very long, but this is something the Lord has placed on my heart in the past few weeks.
Lord, teach me to live by prayer as well as by Your providence, for myself, for my soul, for my body, for my family, for my church.
Give me a heart that is framed by Your will so I will live in constant prayer and honor to You as You keep me and defend me from all evils both know and unknown.
Help me to open my eyes to the sins I do and all that goes with them and let me see the differences between those sins and the good.
Reinforce in me the work of prayer so that your will, will shine in me, and that I can do this without stumbling and falling into the pit of sin.
Help be to discard the prideful spirit I have that wants me to put so much above You Lord. Let me see the truth of my pride, that I may repent it.
Lord, remind me that I can only succeed when I come to You in prayer as it pleases You when I do this.
When I ask for peace, broken spirit, or pardon from sins, let it be to bring all the glory to You and not to me.
Help me to not only desire small things but with boldness to also ask for those great things for others, and for myself that I might live my life showing your glory to others.
Lord, teach me that when I pray that I do it out of the love I have for You, and not out of last minute necessity. Remind me that I can come to You at any time and from any place. Remind me that my sin is from not coming to You in my time of need. Help me to remember the truth that You give us in Your presence in us, and remind us that I am governed by my own lusts.
I ask you now that my lusts and worldly desires vanish and that Your grace and glory would take their place.
Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
