Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it: Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.

Day 39 of 40,

The family

John 21:15-17
Thursday, April 19,2007

You, as a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, represent the Lord Jesus, the Christ. That is, if anyone even knows you are a Christian. But, for the sake of today's thought, let us assume that many where you work and in your neighborhood at home know that you are indeed a follower of the Lord Jesus.

Do you, as a regular part of your daily prayers, ask the Lord to let you and your family be used by Him to minister to those around you at work and those in your neighborhood?

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14)

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me more than these? Peter saith unto Him, "Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed My lambs.

Jesus saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? He saith unto Jesus, "Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee." Jesus saith unto him, Feed My sheep.

Jesus saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? Peter was grieved because Jesus said unto him the third time, Lovest thou Me? And he said unto Him, "Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest that I love Thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed My sheep. (John 21:15-17)

How many times has Jesus asked you to minister to others? How many times have you known you should be reaching out to others, yet for one reason or another you haven't? Have you never read First Peter 4:10? As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.(1Peter 4:10)

Let us pray: Father in heaven, dear Lord God of Creation, help us to be faithful followers of your Son, help us to reflect in our very lives Him whom Thou sent to die for us on the cross. Help us Lord God to be fair and honest representatives of Christ to those we work with, to those who live around us and most important to our own families. Lord let us understand that a short term missionary trip can be the four or five hours we spend with a neighbor or co-worker, sharing both the bread of the field and the True Bread of Life, the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

And Lord help us to understand that Jesus could return at any time, that the time is short, that we have only this little time on earth to do the work of the Lord Jesus, to even start to repay Him for what He did for us on the cross. Thank You Father, for it is in the name of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
