Are you man enough?
If you husbands will love your wife as Christ loves the Church, you won't need to raise your voice
or hit her, for she will love you so much that she will revere you. God Himself has ordained it:
Unto the woman He said, ... your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
I cannot, for the life of me, get a fool and his statement out of my mind. This fool objected to me using Scripture and told me that instead of using Scripture I should be more like Jesus and use parables. How very hard it is for me to suffer fools like that. All that comes to mind is Paul's warning to us:
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. (Titus 3:9,10,&11)
So, today I am going to touch on the authority of Scripture and how Jesus did not ignore it to use parables, but instead warned us not to ignore even one period, comma, or word. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17&18)
From the first century church until now, all fundamental Christians, those who are serious Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, have recognized that Scripture is the final word. Throughout the first four books of the New Testament we see Jesus, time after time, referring to the Old Testament. Here in Matthew 5:17&18 we see the Lord telling us that we are not to ignore, change or twist even the smallest bit of Scripture that has not already been fulfilled by Him.
Let us look at one example, But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I Am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. (Matthew 22:31&32)
Do any of you doubt for even a second that Paul was by far the greatest evangelist , other than Jesus Himself, to ever walk the face of the earth? And what did Paul use? Did he tried to argue without Scripture? No, Paul relied upon Scripture, not stories, not parables, but Scripture to build his case for Christ.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
God did not say, And to seeds, as many;
but (seed) as of one, He said And to thy Seed, which is Christ. (From Galatians 3:16 ACP/KJV)
Do you see how important one word of Scripture was to Jesus and to Paul? Notice how in Galatians 3:16 Paul has demonstrated that all is fulfilled in Christ. All of the promises are not to all descendants of Abraham, but to One and One only, the Lord Christ Jesus (Abraham and his seed) Notice, seed is singular and not plural. This shows the importance of the Old Testament Scripture to the Church, and to Jesus when He said "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Paul did not ignore the New Testament writings either. As you will see below, Pul relied upon both Old and New Testament, and Paul relied not upon stories, but upon Scripture.
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Ac 28:10; Ro 12:8; 1Co 9:10,14; Ga 6:6; Php 2:29; 1Th 5:12-13; Heb 13:7,17
18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
Le 19:13,17; De 24:14-15; 25:4; Mt 10:10; Lu 10:7; 1Co 9:9 (1 Timothy 5:17&18 with cross references)
Notice the references carefully. Notice that Paul is quoting from both the Old and New Testaments. Guys, do not give any credence at all to the fools that suggest that you can do better than God or that you can do better for God by ignoring God's word and use stories. Do not suffer that fool but instead hearken back to the admonition of the Lord through the pen of His servant Paul "avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself." (Titus 3:9,10,&11).
Remember God never promised you that your word would not return to you or Him void, but that: My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. And Jesus never said that your or my word was the true bread of life, no He said: It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
So as for the fool who wants you to not use God's word but instead tell him a story, well Old Testament Scripture deals pretty well with him: A wise man feareth God, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident in himself.
Gentlemen, fellow followers of and believers in the Lord God of Creation, Christ Jesus, be very wary of the fool who would rather hear stories, for they speak with the tongue of an asp and are as tricky, deceitful and convincing as the serpent. It is better to flee from such than it is to allow them to seduce you through logic, reason and arguments of this world.
May I also ask you to go to the Lord in prayer asking Him to help Max, a man with a severe respiratory illness. As most of you know, I have very little use for modern chemical medicines, so please ask the Lord to help Max and his wife Karen to understand how they can best treat Max without the use of poisons called medicine.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for the men and women that come to Christianpatriot.com. I thank You Lord and beseech You never to allow me to say anything that is contradictory to your Holy and perfect word. Amen.

Sha'al shalowm Yruwshalaim.
Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
