All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus warned "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
Let me be blunt, there are two sets of rules out there, the rules of mammon and the rules of God. Mammon and satan are one and the same.
The rules of mammon say that adultery is not a big thing, Jesus tells us it is not only a big thing, it is the only grounds for divorce. "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
The rules of mammon say that homosexuality is an acceptable alternative life style and any who speak against it, if HR-1952 passes, are guilty of a hate crime punishable by over 20 years in prison. Yet God tells us that homosexuality is an abomination and that society shall have a law punishing the act of homosexuality with death. "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
The rules of mammon protect abortion and use money extorted from Christians to pay for them, yet God says: "Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb..." Jesus tells us that: "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Jesus defines and describes satan as: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it".
I don't understand how so many who profess to belong to Christ, by referring to themselves as Christians, can condone abortion, homosexuality and pass laws watering down the penalties for adultery. Why do those of you who condone homosexuality call yourselves Christians? Why not be honest and call yourselves followers of satan? The same with those of you who accept abortion and wink at adultery. The answer is simple, Jesus has explained it to us: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it".
The Bible is the word of God, and it is: "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." It is: "a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
Do you think that: "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved" so that you could pick and choose what to believe of His rule book the Holy Bible? So you think Jesus went up on a cross so that you could spit in His face and live life the way you want to and still call yourself His?
When you support homosexuality, make excuses for it and say "Why I know some and they are the most loving..." I say you have decided who you believe and who you serve and it is not Christ.
Let me remind you of what happened when another couple thought there was nothing wrong with two homosexual lovers. They were Tina and Miles Yates, mother and step father of 13 year old Jesse Dirkhising.
"Jesse Dirkhising suffocated to death during the early morning hours of Sept. 26, 1999, after being bound, drugged, gagged and brutally sodomized by Davis Don Carpenter, then 38, and Joshua Macabe Brown, then 22, at the men's apartment in Rogers, Ark.
Earlier that summer, Jesse -- with the permission of his mother and stepfather, Tina and Miles Yates -- had begun spending weekends with the homosexual couple.
Carpenter, who had known Miles Yates for several years and was considered a "family friend," made a 60-mile round trip on weekends to pick up Jesse at his trailer park home in Prairie Grove and take him back to Rogers, where he earned $45 helping to sweep the Regis Hairstylists beauty salon that Carpenter managed. Dirkhising planned to use the money to fix up a truck.
During the five-hour assault that began around midnight in the couple's bedroom, Brown, acting on written instructions from Carpenter, bound the seventh-grader with nylon rope, placed a T-shirt blindfold over his head, and gagged his mouth with a pair of dirty underwear secured by a bandana and duct tape.
After propping pillows beneath Dirkhising's abdomen, Brown sodomized him with three fingers, his penis, a frozen banana, and a urine enema laced with the sedative drug amitryptiline while Carpenter watched, masturbating, in the bedroom doorway.
Midway through the assault, Carpenter went to an all-night grocery store to purchase additional rape implements. A receipt later found by police, time-stamped 3:07 a.m., showed "Eckrich" sausage, cucumbers, "tape" and "deli" sandwiches.
Upon Carpenter's return from the store, Brown continued sodomizing Jesse with the sausage and cucumber, using Vaseline. He then left the room to eat a sandwich. When he returned, the boy was no longer breathing. Frantic, he woke Carpenter who by that time had fallen asleep on the living room sofa."

If you are going to call yourself a Christian, then be an obedient follower of Christ, stop second guessing Him, stop trying to serve both Christ and satan, stop thinking you know what Jesus really meant to say in His book the Holy Bible and start with these words of the Lord:
He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.
Let me close by reminding you of something real simple. God created the universe in six consecutive 24 hour days! As the Creator of the universe, He is the Owner of the universe! As the Owner of the universe He gets to make the rules and He gets to judge all of His creations, that would include you and me, by His rules. And you think you can support the things He hates, things like abortion, homosexuality, and adultery and be allowed into His heaven? Get a life!
There is another thing I don't understand about small c Christians, those who profess to be Christ, but are really satan's. Why is it that you scream about our unsecured borders, but you won't go shoot invaders? Is it that you only have the courage to spit in the face of God and kill little trapped in the womb baby boys and girls who have nowhere to hide, nowhere to run and no gun to shoot back? You are not only the spitting image of your father as liars and baby killers, you are, like your father, slithering cowardly snakes looking for a rock to hide under.
In this coming Saturday's issue of Christian-news-in-maine.com you'll read about some of the worst examples of the above paragraph. "Nineteen Maine United Church of Christ Congregational Ministers signed a letter supporting abortion, and public funding of abortion, according to Maine's Health and Human Services Committee this week."
Father, am I right in figuring that satan knows the time is close and that he is really putting on a full court press to get his agenda implemented so that he can still, in his eyes, reduce the population to under a half billion before You rapture me and the rest of Your Sons Bride?
Father I know that his futile efforts do nothing but cause you to shake your head and laugh, but, for us down here, things are getting a bit hectic. Father would You please give us the strength to know and not forget that You are in control and that it is Your will that will be done and that we are the sheep of Your fold and that no one, especially satan can take us out of Your hand.
Please Father give us strength, give us calm, give us patience and give the President the courage to stand up for You and for Yours and veto any and all bills that this Congress puts forward that spits in Your face and puts a smile on the face of the evil one, his minions and his ilk. For it is in the Name of Your Blessed and Holy Son, my Lord and my Saviour, Christ Jesus that I pray. Amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
