We are in the midst of World War Three, I am amazed at how many do not understand that. But, those in politics and in the news media do. And it is them that I will discuss to bring out the point that will highlight why we who are, Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, are so Blessed.
Let us look at a few of the unsaved first. Peter Jennings and his fellow leftists in the news media are so dedicated to their god, satan, that they fight us from within. They use the very air waves owned by the American people to lie to the American people in an all out effort to get those who were attacked on September 11th, 2001 to believe that those who attacked us are not the enemy but the enemy is those who are fighting to protect us.
You then have the second group of blind satan worshipers, those in the body politic who work to serve their god satan by undermining at all costs the President who took from them the ability to offer live children as human blood sacrifices to their god satan through partial birth abortions. Those would be the likes of Senators Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, John McCain, Barbra Boxer, Diane Finestien and just about ever other Democrat in the US Senate and about one third of the House led by Pelosi and Frank.
Then we have the third group, this is the group that is so blinded by their hate for anyone that they may even consider to be a follower of Christ, yet have true understanding of what is going on and that we are at war and that those called terrorist are true satan worshipers out to destroy us as a society. That would be those like former Vice President Al Gore. A man so blinded by his hatred of Christ that his mind is gone.
Add to those first three groups, the forth and largest group of blind, the vast number of US Citizens that have fallen for the propaganda of the first two groups and the ranting and raving of the third, and you can start to see how blessed we, who know that through Christ our future is secure and all is under His control, are.
As we go through Luke Chapter Eight, we are going to see that the same groups that exist today existed back in the time when God walked the face of the earth in the form of a man called Jesus. Think of Al Gore as the man who was possessed by 'legion'.
Luke Chapter Eight
1 And it came to pass afterward, that He went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: And the twelve were with Him, 2 and a certain woman, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto Him of their substance. Mary Magdalene, the woman that the Roman Catholic church and other cults would have you believe was a prostitute. The woman that modern cultist writers, most out of Roman Catholic backgrounds, would like you to believe was the wife of Jesus and sat to His immediate right at the last supper. Blinded fools, blaspheming liars, damned eternally unless they repent and are Born Again.
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to Him out of every city, He spake by a parable: 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when He had said these things, He cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 And His disciples asked Him, saying, "What might this parable be?" 10 And He said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Notice if you will how after the Lord speaks the parable, His chosen ask Him what it means. Jesus immediately tells them that all hear what He says, but to the unsaved it is mumbo jumbo, but to those who come to Him, those who are Saved, those who ask, He will explain it to them. And He does. Once we became Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, Jesus took us under His arm and started showing us all things, but in addition, He gave us peace of mind, knowing that, first we will be with Him for ever and second that while this earth is not our home, everything that happens here is done with His permission.
16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. 18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. Now here comes the part that many of you do not want to hear. Yup, the part about your responsibilities to Christ, your debt to Him and how you should repay it. Your knowledge of salvation is that lighted candle. Every last bit of Scripture is available for your knowledge if you only ask God for that information and diligently look for the answers by studying your Bible. You are not to keep that knowledge to yourself, you are to share it with others. Otherwise, read verse 18, for verse 18 tells you very clearly that if you spread your knowledge of salvation around, more knowledge is given you, but, and get this, read it carefully, but, if you keep it to yourself, what you have will be taken from you. Do you really think it is that hard to preach God's Salvation? Go to (google.com), put in Advertiser Democrat Norway, Maine. A newspaper will come up, click on it, order a copy for yourself, go to the letter to the editor section, read the letters by Larry Austin and then tell me why you can't do that. Larry is light on a table. (Still think that is to hard to do? Well consider this, over the last seven years I have put up over ten thousand written pages, Mac Maguire a retired Army Sergeant has taken the time free of charge to proof the vast majority of them, could you not find something you could do to help those who do preach?)
19 Then came to Him His mother and His brethren, and could not come at Him for the press. 20 And it was told Him by certain which said, "Thy mother and Thy brethren stand without, desiring to see Thee." 21 And He answered and said unto them, My mother and My brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Every time I read this I want to cry, how very, very sad. The man said to Jesus, "Lord, Your mom and brothers and sisters are outside wanting to talk to you." Jesus says, they are not My brothers, sisters and Mary is not My mother, you who are here hearing My words and doing what I say are my family." Although Mary had gone through nine months of pain, years of nursing and diaper changing, she, at this point in time was not Saved, she was destined to eternal damnation because she was not a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, she was not a believer on her own Son. Now think for a minute, here Jesus is telling us that His very own mother and half brothers had no automatic way into His family, what chance do you think you have if you continue to refuse to get out there and do what He tells you to do? Stop waiting for an email signed, 'with love, Jesus' and get out there and put His work first.
22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that He went into a ship with His disciples: and He said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed He fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish." Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And He said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, "What manner of Man is this! for He commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey Him.
26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. 27 And when He went forth to land, there met Him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God most high? I beseech Thee, torment me not." 29 (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) Isn't it amazing, the ones that groups one - four in the opening commentary worship know and acknowledge who Jesus is, but those that worship them are so blinded by their hatred that they don't acknowledge Jesus.
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, "Legion": because many devils were entered into him. 31 And they besought Him that He would not command them to go out into the deep. 32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought Him that He would suffer them to enter into them. And He suffered them. 33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. The deep they are so afraid of is the pit or the lake of fire, I'm not sure which. Besought is to beg and suffered is to allow. They were so afraid of the "deep' that they begged Jesus to let them go abide in the pigs.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. 36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed. 37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought Him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and He went up into the ship, and returned back again.
38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought Him that he might be with Him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. That man, the one who had the legion of devils living in him, is like those in group four, they are in need of our prayers for do you see how the man reacted once he was free of the devils? Think about Al Gore's speech the other day, Gore speech he is obviously insane or possessed. There is no way that a rational human acts the way Al Gore did and says the things he said. Al Gore is either possessed or insane, either way, he is the perfect example of group four.
40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received Him: for they were all waiting for Him. 41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought Him that He would come into his house: 42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying.
But as He went the people thronged Him. 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 came behind Him, and touched the border of His garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with Him said, "Master, the multitude throng Thee and press Thee, and sayest Thou, 'Who touched Me?'" 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched Me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of Me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before Him, she declared unto Him before all the people for what cause she had touched Him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 And He said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. I love that woman, that woman should be an inspiration to all of us. Here we have a woman living in a time when women are treated just like the taliban treat women today. She broke at least two major laws in coming to the Lord, first here she was a woman without a male companion and she approached a non related man (Jesus), then she touches Him. She, believing in Jesus, was willing to risk the very real probability that if caught she would be stoned, to touch the Lord. Then she falls down at the feet of the lord and confesses her illness to everyone around, men and women, now in those days, women did not talk about menstruation. And for this risk, only was she not stoned, she heard these words: "Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace" in your whole life, what risk have you taken for Jesus?
49 While He yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, "Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master." 50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. 51 And when He came into the house, He suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. Verse 53, can you picture that in your mind, they are pointing their fingers at the lord, probably shoving their fingers right in His face as they shouted at Him, "Ya, what do You know, she's dead and we know it, ..." Idiots. Sorry blinded idiots. Probably registered as liberal democrats.
Now we come to one of my favorite verses in the Bible, for having buried a son, I can easily imagine the look on that little girl's mom's face as she arose off the death bed. How I look forward to seeing that look on my wife's face when she gets to heaven and sees Andrew.
54 And He put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and He commanded to give her meat. 56 And her parents were astonished: but He charged them that they should tell no man what was done. (Luke 1-56 ACP/KJV)
I often wondered why Jesus had to tell them to feed the little girl that He had raised from the dead, but when you think about it, her dad and mom where so happy to see her that they probably where so busy squeezing her and hugging her that the poor child was near death again from starvation.
May the Lord be with and bless you and may you find the time to thank both God and those fighting to protect us in this, Word War Three. amen.
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
I would also like to thank the Lord that Dorothy has a large print Bible, while I am not to happy about the way she got it, I am pleased that she has it. And now my prayer is that she will read it and the Lord will let the Holy Spirit guide her to understanding it. Amen.
The Lord be with you all and please keep me in your prayers. I have some very important decision to make over the next few weeks or months, I need your prayers. Amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush and Michael have, they, Rush, Michael and their audiences need the Lord.
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
