Wednesday June 17th, 2009. Is it a human baby in the womb? What does the Bible say?

Funny how many claim the Bible is either silent on the baby in the womb or only implies that what is in a woman’s womb is a baby. I am amazed at how many self proclaimed pro-life organizations and individuals go out of their way to join with the extreme left wing fringe as they attack and demonize Michael Griffin, Eric Rudolph, Rev. Paul Hill, and now Scott Roeder.

Let us look at the word of God, the Holy Bible, and see what God says is in the womb of a woman.

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. Genesis 25:23&24

And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren. And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon. And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi. And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing. Genesis 29:31-31

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die. And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb? Genesis 30:1&2

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. Genesis 30:22&27

Sanctify unto Me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine. Exodus13:2

For they are wholly given unto Me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto Me. Numbers 8:16

And He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: He will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which He sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Deuteronomy 7:13

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Judges 13:3-5

That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. Judges 16:17

By Thee have I been holden up from the womb: Thou art He that took me out of my mother's *bowels: my praise shall be continually of Thee. Psalm 71:6 *me`ah, pronounced may-aw' from an unused root probably meaning to be soft; used only in plural the intestines, or (collectively) the abdomen, figuratively, sympathy; by implication, a vest; by extens. the stomach, the uterus (or of men, the seat of generation), the heart (figuratively):--belly, bowels, X heart, womb.

This by no means is a complete list of the pro-life Scripture found in the Holy word of God, but it is a start, a place for you to start thinking. In the last 20 years there have been but four men who have killed to save the life of the baby in the womb, yet so many in the so called pro-life community have, instead of holding these men up in prayer, have instead joined forces with the extreme left wing baby hating fringe and vilified them.

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; Ecclesiastes 3:3 The word kill in the Hebrew is harag, it is pronounced haw-rag' and it means to smite with deadly intent:--destroy, out of hand, kill, murder(-er), put to (death), make (slaughter), slay(-er).

Between the four of them, Michael Griffin, Eric Rudolph, Rev. Paul Hill, and now Scott Roeder, countless babies have seen life.
