You know the problem, do you know the solution? Prayer!

Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open Thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God. Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries, and have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that Thou art the LORD, even Thou only."

Men and women came to the Lord in prayer, they saw signs, got healthy, won battles, caused and ended droughts, ended the closing of wombs, raised the dead and more. Often times folks ask me if it is necessary, for salvation, for a man to be baptized. My answer is always the same. "No, baptism is not a prerequisite of salvation, for one to be Saved, but, if there is time a person should be baptized, why? Because if it is good enough for Jesus it is good enough for you and me." For was not Jesus baptized? Did He not command: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

So, we take the time to be dunked in and under cold Maine water to be baptized, but, we fail to pray.

Problem: "I never have the time to read my bible." Answer: Pray, go to the Lord on your knees and ask His help, but first, resist the devil.

Problem: "I don't feel as if I am doing enough for the Lord." Answer: Pray.

Problem: "I am on the verge of losing my health, job, family, children, friend or something else" Answer: Turn to the Lord in prayer.

Are you starting to get the point? Good because, now I'm going to tell you something. Christian persecution has arrived on the shores of the USA! Big time persecution is here. If you doubt that, you need to read tomorrow's issue of Christian-news-in-maine.com and every Thursday's issue. The persecution of Christians in Maine has reached epidemic proportions yet, in New York state it may even be worse. Remember, the idea behind persecution is not to necessarily to cause pain, it is to get you to renounce Christ. For the devil too can read Scripture, lucifer the scum bucket knows that Jesus is dead serious in Matthew 10:33 when He says: But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven. So, where do you think you spend eternity if Jesus denies you before God the Father?

For years the Christian community in Maine has thought of prayer as something you did when you had absolutely nothing else to do and there was a pair of six foot rattlesnakes crawling over you. Well, time to get back to basics my brothers, for something much worse than a rattlesnake has arrived in Maine and the US. In 1965 the public school systems kicked Jesus out and invited the devil in. Jesus left and the devil was only to happy to take His place in the classroom and within the hearts of teachers, custodians, principals, secretaries, lunch room staff, superintendents, etc. Today we have outspoken lesbians leading girls gym classes, out and out full blown homosexuals serving as coaches, teachers, and guidance councillors.

The forty years of satanic indoctrination in the schools is now being reflected by those who thrived on that indoctrination and now lead our body politic. In Maine we need look no further than Augusta, Portland, Lewiston, Auburn or any number of other city halls and town office buildings. Republicans and democrats join hands with the states largest food chain, Hannaford Brothers, in supporting homosexual marriage. Governor John Baldacci with the help of Republican State Senator David R. Hastings 3rd, passed a special rights for homosexuals bill that is the worst, most anti family, anti Christ bill of it's kind in the nation. Yet how does the body politic reply when we complain? They and their cohorts in the press refer to us freaks, descriminators, and worse. So, how do we fight this: Prayer. There is no other way. Oh yes, we could revert to the use of force, deadly force, we could simply go out and start shooting, for we certainly have the fire power and man power to over throw the local and state police, but, what would that achieve?

As you look back at the Scriptural references to the word "Prayed", you'll find that every problem we, as Christians, face today, God has already dealt with on numerous occasions. And how did He get involved in those problems in times past? He responded to the honest and diligent prayer of men and women who truly believed in Him, men and women who let that faith be known to God as they prayed. Let me give you and example: And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying, "O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, Thou art the God, even Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: Thou hast made heaven and earth....

So, when you pray, keep in mind that He whom you are going to is not your peer, your buddy, your friend, no, He is the God of creation. When you understand that, you start to understand that He who created all things can fix all things. If only we will go to Him and say "Lord it's broken, I can't fix it, will You please help me".

Let me give you a suggestion if I may, and I promise this will be it, I'll close with this. We in Maine have a satan worshiping, homosexual loving, drunk as a governor, how do we change that? There are several ways, but they all require getting God involved. We could look for a Josiah to replace Baldacci. But, where would we find such a man? Would we not have to go to God and ask Him to raise up such a man? For read about Josiah in 2 Kings chapters 22 and 23. The other thing we could do is go to the Lord for the sake of salvation for Baldacci.

Or you could make me governor of Maine, guaranteed that would turn Maine around, but, even if I were governor, even if John Baldacci were smitten with worms that ate him up and spit him out, that caused his stomach to drop and his eyes to cloud over, how would I get to be governor without God causing more than half to vote for me?

So, do you see? Do you see that if we give a hoot, we must return to prayer?

Father in heaven, Holy, Hallowed and Sacred is Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, here on earth just as it is in heaven.

Oh Lord God of Creation, give unto us this day our daily bread, not the bread that puts a ring of blubber around our waist Lord, but the Bread that is Thy Word.

Oh Lord Jesus, please forgive us for the things we have said, done, thought and even dreamt that have offended Thee, for those things that offend Thee are sin and it is sin we must honestly repent of and be forgiven of before we can approach Thee.

Help us Lord to forgive those who have offended us by their orders, laws, mandates, actions, words, and deeds.

Oh Lord God of Creation please raise up a Josiah for us, protect us from evil Lord, keep us under Thy mighty right arm, keep us safe from temptation and the evil one, his minions, his ilk and those who serve him knowingly and unknowingly.

Jesus please bless those parents who love their children more than a second pay check, please bless them and reinforce in their hearts Your desire that they teach those babies You have entrusted them with.

Lord we turn to You in desperation and love, knowing that You and you only both are and have the answers to all our problems. That You and only You can give us peace and contentment.

For Thine is the kingom and all power and all glory for ever and ever. I love You Lord, Amen.

PLease pray for Danny Calhoun, Mac Maguire, Theresa Gilpatrick, Seth Winslow, George Robert and this ministry and all involved with it.

Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

Lord Jesus, please give women a love for their babies, from the moment of conception on, let them love them I pray Thee. Amen.

The Lord bless you all and may He heal Mel's eyes and Myra's ears. May He be with Colby as he has now arrived at Paris Island and strted boot camp, A Christian babe amongst many a wolf. Amen.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac, Cecily, Steve, and Rev. Jim Marstaller to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is Saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
