Monday July 6^th, 2009 Last Days, Perilous Times, part three 2 Timothy 3:5-7

Today will, for a while, end the Last Days, Perilous Times, series.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Gentlemen, as we have seen in the previous two parts of this series, the US Government has adopted all of the behaviors Christ has warned us of, thru the pen of Paul, in describing the perilous times of the last days. I know of no Christian enclave for us to go to, I know of no Christian nation, state, or even defendable city for us to take our families to. No, our only viable alternative to living under a satan worshiping government is secession.

Gentlemen, we not only have homosexuals in Congress, we have them sitting as chairmen making policy and laws governing our very morality and dictating our very behavior. But not just in Congress, for homosexuals, for one who sleeps with both men and women is a homosexual, are in both high appointed office of the administration and in the oval office as well. What option is there for Christians but to support the secession of states to avoid the abominable practices, dictates, and laws of this degenerate, corrupt, morally bankrupt government?

5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

“having a form of godliness” “form” is the Greek word morphosis, pronounced mor'-fo-sis, it means appearance or semblance. “Godliness” is the translation of eusebeia, pronounced yoo-seb'-i-ah which means piety, godliness, or holiness. “but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” The phrase “the power thereof” comes from the Greek word dunamis, pronounced doo'-nam-is meaning the miraculous power, the many miracles that we see all around us day and night, the miracle of gravity, the miracles of day and night, the miracle of the wonders of creation. So, in these end times, men will act very holy and pious, but it is only an act, it is only the putting on of the appearance of fearing and worshiping God, it will instead be the worshiping of satan and denying the very miracles that so clearly point to our Creator. Does not our Congress and all of the federal government embrace and preach evolution?

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Verses six and seven need no Greek clarification for they are as clear as day. For the sort of people, whose 19 personal character traits are listed in verses 2-5, are using the same deceptive practices that their god satan has used on women since the deception of Eve some 6,430 years ago. They will lead and are leading gullible women captive by the hand first to the voting booth, then to the letter to the editor page, then to obnoxious and immoral behavior, and then to ever lasting perdition. These are woman whose God is not Christ, but instead the god of money, the god of looks, the god of clothing, and of course the god of ‘freedom’ to be sexually promiscuous with men, women and beast, ultimately leading them to the service of the most hateful of satan’s personifications, the god of abortion that allows and encourages them to kill their unintended babies while these defenseless little human beings are trapped in their wombs.

Gentlemen, I spent 12 hours on the fourth of July on one of the busiest pedestrian areas of Maine attempting to get signatures of registered voters to sign a petition to veto the new law that causes homosexual marriages to be legal in Maine. I was not alone, as there were two other men getting signature width me. Thousands passed by us, we were very visible, with our table within a foot of the sidewalk, and free well water was available to drink, yet no more than 50 signed.

How are you going to answer to God when He asks you what you did to avoid raising your family under the thumb of men and women who are determined to not only corrupt your sons and daughters, but to have them sexually as well? What are you going to tell Him?

How can you look yourself in the face in the morning when you shave, knowing that you are jeopardizing the very salvation of your children by raising them in these states that are submissive and subservient to this corrupt degenerate federal government that pursues an agenda of pro-homosexuality and abortion? How are you going to justify, to God Almighty, your sending them to schools that must obey the dictates of an openly homosexual leader of the federal department of education? How will you answer to God?

Will you not take Jesus’ warning serious? Do you think His warning does not include parents? “But whoso shall offend (entice into sin) one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Do you not realize that by raising your child in an environment where sin is the norm, where sin is encouraged and practiced, that you are enticing them to sin?
