Tuesday July 7th, 2009 Yes Leviticus 20:13 is 100% still in effect! Matthew 5:18&19 Keywords: homosexual and abortion
A few days back we looked at "The Law" (christianpatriot.com/06-30-2009.htm). As a result, we know that “The Law” includes Leviticus 18, 19 & 20. Therefore both abortion and homosexuality are just as bad today as they were when God first spoke to Moses, some 3,000 years ago.
Read with me:
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Leviticus 20:1,2&13
Now, before we go to Jesus in Matthew chapter five, let us focus on a couple of things.
First, the speaker giving the orders in Leviticus 20 is God. Moses is nothing but the recording secretary. The one giving the orders is God Almighty. And what God has said is that any who kill their babies are to be themselves killed, they are to be stoned to death. God further states that any two men caught in the act of homosexual relations are to be put to death, they have brought this death sentence upon themselves by their actions and by disobeying God Almighty, God has left the method of execution up to society, the not the punishment.
How serous is God that we today are to abide by His orders? Some 2,000 years ago God left the comforts of heaven and came to earth as a baby in the womb of a young girl named Mary. God named Himself, Jesus. Once Jesus turned 30 He started preaching. In His preaching He told us many things, most importantly how to get saved, and how to get into heaven. But another thing He told us was of the importance of not getting lazy, not forgetting to do or ignoring the things He had commanded in the past. For He said:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:17&18
God did not come to earth to destroy the Law or any of the prophecies, He came to fulfill every last one of the prophecies that dealt with proving that He and only He was and could be the Messiah, The Christ. Everything else is 100% in effect till all be fulfilled, and that doesn’t happen till the end of the millennium, the end of the thousand year reign of Jesus after the seven years of tribulation, some 1007 years after the Lord raptures His church.
So, whether you like it or not, our society, the government of the US and the government of each of the states is supposed to have a law making it a capital offense to engage in homosexual behavior and to abort a baby. For life begins at the moment of conception and homosexuality is a choice, a choice, not genetic trait, not hereditary. It is a learned and chosen behavior.
And while the choice of execution is left up to society as to how to execute all involved in homosexuality, the method of execution for all of those involved in abortion or child murder is clearly dictated. “the people of the land shall stone him with stones”.
Do not be fooled by political correctness, do not be fooled by the liars who occupy the offices of the press, the body politic, the courts etc. Abide by the law of God. It may cost you here on earth, but it will reward you throughout eternity.
“Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear God who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Jesus 32AD
