Friday July 24th, 2009 stone the Christians Romans 13:1-7
In Paul’s letter to the Romans, we read what the Holy Spirit told Paul to write in regards to how Christians of the first century and Christians today are to react to our governmentrulers.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained are of God.
Whosoever therefore resist the power, resist the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves the penalty adjudicated by the law of that government.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of that power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same, for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For, for this cause pay ye tribute also. For they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Romans 13:1-7
What does all this mean? Has Obama been put in the oval office by God? Are we to obey Obama or are we to assume 0bama has been put in the oval office to wield the sword of punishment for the crimes we, Born Again Christians, have committed against The Most High God?
Folks the simple answer is, I don’t know. It is like all the rain we are getting here in the Northeast, is it of God or is it HARP? I don’t know, but his I do know, it is better for us to assume it is of God and go to Him on bended knees asking for forgiveness than to think it is of any other cause.
Now before I continue, I would to give you a homework assignment. I want you to study what it was like to be Christian in the time of Caesar Nero, for that is the time in which Paul lived. At this point in time Obama is nothing compared to viciousness of Nero.
I believe that what is happening today in the United States, the crop destroying weather and the draconian anti Christian government now in place is God starting to punish us who are Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians for being so lackadaisical about following His orders to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Gentlemen, I do not believe that God will let us rebel against Obama and this anti-Christian government, just as there was no place for you to run to and no way for you to rebel against the spanking you so justly deserved as a child when your earthly father was putting you over his knee. How justly do we deserve this spanking we are about to get? The government of the people and by the people is now the largest importer of illegal drugs in the world, and the largest exporter of pornography and weapons in the world. We are a nation that puts homosexuals in the highest offices of the land, we are a nation that rewards abortionists with US Marshals for protection, a nation that aborts over 75% of all conceptions. And now we have an illegal alien in the oval office and a tax cheat as the chief of the IRS. We are a nation in need of punishment, and we need to bear in mind how much madder he who is doing the punishment gets when the one who is about to receive the punishment runs or fights.
