If it were not so true and prophetic, it would be funny.

Two days ago, the lead story for the Monday update on Christian-news-in-maine.com was "No Free Speech in Preaching, Swedish pastor sentenced to jail for blasting homosexuality."
A Swedish court sentenced a Pentecostal pastor to one month in prison after finding him guilty of offending homosexuals in a sermon. The case was the first trial test of the national law against incitement as applied to speech about homosexuals.
Last year during a sermon delivered in the east coast town of Borgholm, Ake Green described homosexuality as "abnormal, a horrible cancerous tumor in the body of society." He called homosexuals "perverts, whose sexual drive the Devil has used as his strongest weapon against God."
In an editorial in the same issue, Mr. Larry Austin of Norway, Maine pointed out that "... Canada recently passed bill C-250. This bill makes any unfavorable mention of homosexuality hate speech which is now a criminal act. Now authorities are allowed to consider the Bible a form of criminalized hate speech and charge those who teach it with criminal offenses...."
Now, you might ask yourself what could be so funny about the above reports? Well, nothing, it is not the news I found funny, it is the idea that one day, one day very soon if the likes of Kerry and Edwards are elected, I may very well find myself in jail. In jail for what is said about homosexuality, abortion, homosexuals and abortionists, by me, on ChristianPatriot.com. Imagine this if you would, try to picture this in your mind: The year is 2006, the pair of Johns have been in office for 18 months, they have replaced 3 Supreme Court Justices and called Janet Reno back to be Attorney General and I'm sitting in jail.
Here we are, all two hundred prisoners lined up to go to a meal and this great big guy says to this other really big mean looking dude, "Whatcha in for?" He says "murda, an youse?" "Rape, robbery, extortion and refusing to shave in the shower." Then they look over at me and ask what I'm in for. And I tell them, "Preaching Leviticus 20:13 and telling homosexuals that they do not have to go to eternal damnation, but, can through the Blood of the Lord JESUS and true repentance be Saved, on the internet."
In the Bible, we find many instances where Paul and others gloried in the fact that they were cast into prison, beat, stoned and worse for the positions they took in support of and in absolute servitude to the Lord Jesus, the Christ. While I had often thought about that, and admired them for it, I never really thought that I would end my days in a prison, but, alas, tis starting to appear as though the idea of my being in a federal or state prison is no longer so far fetched. As a matter of fact, when I think about our very own Governor in Maine, the infamous Christian hater, John Elias Baldacci, I thank God that I am not already looking at the world through bars.
But as the world moves closer and closer to the day when laws may put my very freedom at jeopardy, I have to think more clearly and with more precision about those who came before me and found themselves either in prison or at the stake for Christ's sake. What it was that made it not only palatable for them, but made them so happy that they praised God for His letting them be tortured, stoned, burnt at the stake, murdered, imprisoned, etc. And I think I know the answer. Captive audience!
Now, let me assure you, when I say captive audience, there is no pun intended, but when you think about it, being in prison means that they can't kick you out for preaching the Word of God. Oh you may have the warden sic some of the big bad meanies on you, but all they can do is beat you up, or something, but you are still in prison and therefore able to preach God's Word to an audience that can not simply pick up and walk away.
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Jesus, in Matthew 10:28
Today, Jesus would say, fear not the John Baldaccis, the Olympia Snowes, Susan Collins and Johns of this world, for they can do nothing more than send you into the arms of your Heavenly Father. But fear God, who after He ends your life can send you into eternal damnation in the lake of fire.
No, I don't look forward to the day when I will be separated from my wife and cast into a state or federal prison for preaching that homosexuality is a sin, that God punishes with eternal death, but, rather than spit in God's face to be patted on the head by the likes of Baldacci and the Johns, I will gladly spend the rest of my days looking at the world through iron bars and preaching God's Word to a captive audience.
I thank You Lord for letting me live in a time when I very well may live to see Your appearing in the Sky, a time when the graves will open and we who are still alive will meet you and those who died in You, in the sky. Give me strength Lord, amen.
May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.
There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
I would also like to thank the Lord that Dorothy has a large print Bible, while I am not to happy about the way she got it, I am pleased that she has it. And now my prayer is that she will read it and the Lord will let the Holy Spirit guide her to understanding it. Amen.
The Lord be with you all and please keep me in your prayers. I have some very important decision to make over the next few weeks or months, I need your prayers. Amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush and Michael have, they, Rush, Michael and their audiences need the Lord.
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
