Most of us are just too young to really remember much about the wars Israel had with her not very friendly neighbors in the 1940,s, 50's, and 60's. But those wars were short - days, not months or years, and Israel was out manned, out gunned and surrounded in each case, but in each case, God delivered them. And in each case the Israelis gave God the credit and thanks for about ten minutes before pounding each other on the back and printing glowing articles about how they rescued themselves.

Meanwhile back here in the States and elsewhere, wherever Bible believing and understanding Christians gathered, they suggested that perhaps, just perhaps that was the time the Lord would rapture His church and start the seven year remodeling project of earth.

That my friends and brothers was then, this is now. Guys, these are interesting times and we are about to see history in the making or we, who are truly Born Again Christians, are about to go on one heavenly trip.

Iran hates Israel and has, in all probability, nukes. Hamas, the terrorist group, has taken over the government of the Palestinians right on the border of Israel and in full control of the Temple Mount. Both Hamas and Iran have declared that they will not rest until there are no Jews left alive in Israel.

President George Bush has come out and said that the US will not deal with Hamas, and that if anyone attacks Israel we will defend Israel. We and the Europeans have said that we will not fund the Palestinian Government with Hamas at its head. Iran immediately replied telling Hamas not to worry they will fund them.

You would have to live in a cave not to realize that Iran is on thin ice with us and much of the rest of the world. Even the cowardly government of France has said they would attack Iran with nuclear weapons. Talk about a hollow threat, how can a nation fire nuclear missiles at a nation they are surrendering to?

But, France aside, much of the world realizes that Iran is out of line. But, Russia has the same agreement with Iran that we have with Israel, and now Russian is saying that they want to send armed peace keeping troops to the region. What does that mean? It means that if Iran, using Hamas as a front, has attacked Israel, we now, may go in with Israel against Iran and then if, and this is a big if, if Russia abides by and honors its agreement with Iran, Russia comes in to aid Iran and fights against us.

So, this is what we are looking at. We are looking at a very serious situation with a very high probability of out and out nuclear war in the Middle East within the foreseeable future.

So, let us look at some Scripture before I continue.

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

And there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet (Daniel 9:21-27), stand(ing) in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, 'Lo, here is Christ', 'or there'; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Saved).

25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, 'Behold, He is in the desert'; go not forth: 'behold, He is in the secret chambers'; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles (vultures) be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:1-39 ACP/KJV)

You are all familiar with Matthew 24, and most of you have or at least should have a good working understanding of the Book of Christ's Revelation of the end times as dictated to John, but let's look at verse 36 again: "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only."

Why do you think the Lord used "day and hour"? Could it be that He has, in his entire Book, the Book we call the Bible, given us enough information of that time to be able to narrow it down, by world affairs and His Book, to within a week or maybe even a couple of days, but not the exact "day and hour"?

If that is the case, then given what has happened in the last few weeks in Iran and now Palestine, it could very easily be almost immediate. But as I said earlier, many Bible believing and studying Christians in the 40's, 50's and 60's came to the same conclusion. But what happened was God intervened and rescued Israel. But, I don't think that is going to happen this time.

Now, why don't I think it will happen this time? Look at the way Jerusalem is defined in the Book of Revelation at the beginning of tribulation, right after Rapture.

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel(Not Jesus now, but an angel) stood, saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without(outside) the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they(gentiles, non believers) tread under foot forty and two months (3.5 years). 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses(most likely either Moses and Elijah or Enoch and Elijah) , and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These(2 witnesses) have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (Revelation 11:1-8 ACP/KJV)

As you look in verse eight you will see Jerusalem defined as "of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." Notice the "called Sodom and Egypt." In the 1940's, 50's and 60's Jerusalem was not a hot bed of Sodom and Egypt, which are words used to describe the practice of homosexuality and idiolatry. But today, Jerusalem is just like any other major city of the world, a city overrun by homosexuality and the seeking of the god of money. Jerusalem is not a Jewish city. They, the Jews, have given control of the Temple Mount to the satan, by the name of allah, worshiping muslims.

So, what are we looking at over the next couple of months? Well, one of two things. I believe, either God intervenes and rescues Israel again or we are raptured and out of here.

I have not been able to find anything in the Word of God that would cause me to think that the Jews are driven out of Israel again before the rapture. If the Jews are not driven out, and war is on, then only one of two things can happen Biblically. In either case, God destroys the enemies and protects the Jews, but in one of those two cases we get raptured. Got someone you need to evangelize? Let me suggest you get to it.

As John so aptly said, Come quickly Lord Jesus. For there is one other tidbit that you should be aware of, you who think that we are safe here in the USA. Hamas armed terrorist were intercepted coming into the USA via the Mexican border not long ago. These Hamas terrorists are part of a group of 2,000 that Iran has armed, financed and trained for worldwide distribution to attack US and Israeli interests.

Sha'al shalowm Yruwshalaim.

Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
