Monday, August 24^th, 2009 Will you stone me with stones? 2 Chronicles 24:17-22

If I tell you the truth, will you hate me? If I tell you the truth, will you stone me with stones? For the truth will both make you free and cut you to the bone, for you are a sinful generation, one that has ignited the wrath of God, one that has brought upon yourselves the vengeance reserved for God.

You have turned from the Living God and embraced the god of homosexuality, the god of money, the god of drugs, booze and infidelity. You have gone from being a good people to one that is the largest exporter of pornography and the largest importer of illegal drugs. You have gone from a people who love the baby in the womb to one that despises both God and His gift, the baby in the womb, offering up to satan hundreds of millions of babies trapped in the supposed safety of their others’ wombs, little human babies with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no one to protect little him or her, as little human blood sacrifices to your god satan.

God Himself has asked you: “Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, He hath also forsaken you.”

Your crops lay rotting on the ground, you seeds rotting in the ground, your fields burn from heat and drought and your courage has evaporated like a mist, yet you still refuse to turn back to the Lord God of your fathers and you insist on pursuing the false god of crime, hatred, abortion, homosexuality and lying cheating phoney usurpers. Look at yourself, you put your trust in a lying cheating usurper, his party, his god, and his lackeys in the press and Congress, the courts and police forces, while you turn your collective backs on the God who created all things.

Will you do to me as the Jews did to Zechariah and those who relayed messages to them of repentance from God? Will you stone me for telling you that Lord God of Creation is mad? That He is upset and losing patience? That He is on the verge of taking everything from you and causing you to be naked prisoners without a shed of clothing, a morsel of food and with no hope?

But Jehoiada waxed old, and was full of days when he died; a hundred and thirty years old was he when he died. And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.

But, after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened unto them. And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass. Yet God sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the LORD; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, “Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, He hath also forsaken you.”

And they conspired against Zechariah, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD. Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, Zechariah said, “The LORD look upon it, and require it.” 2 Chronicles 24:15-22

Do you not think the Lord will require of you as He required of the Jews? Are you so stupid as to think that you really have to pick up stones to stone me with in order to have fulfilled the phrase “stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king”. Are you so ill-informed, so turned from God, so out of touch with the Lord God of Creation that you do not understand that you are “stoning me with stones at the commandment of the government” when you stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch or turn your back so that you make as if you do not know what is going on? Do you think your stones will hurt me? Are you so foolish, are you so stupid, are you such blind fools and cowardly slugs?

Do you not hear God yelling in your ear “Gird up thy loins now like men! I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me. Wilt thou also disannul My judgment? wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be righteous? Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like Him?”

You who claim to be Christians had best start acting like Christians. You had better get out of your shell and stand up and protect those whom God has sent to preach. You had best get your Bibles out and test every word spoken by God for you have gone past standing on thin ice, you are hovering just above a roaring torrent. And God is on the verge of dropping some of you into that torrent while He casts others of you into it with violence and vengeance.

Stop being afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. Start being afraid of God, who after He hath killed hath power to cast into the eternal pain, misery and torment of the eternal lake of fire. Yes, Christ Himself has said unto you, Fear Him.
