To deny the Trinity is to be a cult.

Friday August 11th, 2006

One of the main characteristics of a cult is the denial of the Trinity. The Bible used by the US Senate and taught in many of the nations most liberal theological schools is the Jefferson Bible. I am not going to quote it, I am going to instead show you, using Scripture, how very dangerous it is to deny the Trinity. How, a person who denies the Trinity has virtually and has assuredly guaranteed themself a place in the eternal lake of fire.

Let us start by looking at what we know as the unpardonable sin. The one thing that guarantees you no forgiveness.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the *son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (Matthew 12:31&32 ACP/KJV)

Do you see the noun Holy Ghost? It means more than what is commonly accepted, let's look in the Greek at the definition that is best suited for the way "Holy Ghost" is used here. Pneuma, pnyoo'-mah (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:-. To deny any part of the Trinity is unpardonable, here in this life and in the one to come.

And while those two verses should be more than enough to convince you, there is much more.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:22-24 ACP/KJV)

I and the Father are one. (John 10:30 ACP/KJV)

He that hateth Me hateth My Father also. (John 15:23 ACP/KJV)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. (John 14:6 ACP/KJV)

And what about the Holy Ghost?

And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; (John 14:66 ACP/KJV)

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me: (John 15:26 ACP/KJV)

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. (John 17:7 ACP/KJV)

And in conclusion;

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26 ACP/KJV)

Look, if you do not believe in the Trinity, you are not Saved. If you fail to believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are One God, you do not believe in the Trinity and are unsaved. And why is it that so many, who profess to be Saved, do not believe in the Trinity? The answer to that is really very simple. And it is found in the very same verses that proof the existence and the deity of the Holy Ghost. For without the Holy Ghost living within you and guiding you through Scripture, there is no way you can believe in and put your faith in the Trinity.

Let's close by reviewing once again the unpardonable sin and the definition of the Holy Ghost as it is used there.

There is one more bit of Scripture we need to look at concerning the denial of the Holy Ghost, as it is used in Matthew 12:31&32, for it is used as not only the Holy Ghost but as the Trinity. Remember we read the Bible as it is written, not as we would like it written, we read the Bible looking to please God, not looking for ways to ignore or criticize Him. That said, let us look at what God wrote with His own finger:

And God spake all these words, saying:

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain. (Exodus 20:1-7 ACP/KJV) See also Deuteronomy chapter five.

Nothing but nothing could be clearer. You deny the Trinity, you deny God. Go with me to Hebrews 9:27, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: you die denying the Trinity and you spend eternity in the lake of fire, for there aint no purgatory! And Jesus has very clearly told one and all in John 3:3, be born again or go to hell! If you deny the Trinity, you are not Born Again, and as such you can not get into heaven! And since there aint no purgatory, the only place left is the eternal lake of fire.

As we discussed a few days ago, in who is restraining the media, the anti-Christ may very well be alive and well today. It is time to get your nose out of commentary and the likes of the Jefferson Bible and start reading the Word of God yourself. Why do you trust man to help you understand what God has written and yet you refuse to trust God the Holy Spirit to guide you through His book?

Sure I read commentary occasionally, but I am very careful of who I read and I am even more careful to read and study what God said on the subject first. I read commentary to see if I then may have other questions to bring to God on the subject that the commentary is written. As most of you know, I have some pretty firm ideas of what Predestination and Preordained mean, but I am reading a book on the subject written by R.C. Sproul. Will his book convince me or change my mind? Never! What it will do, and has done so far, is cause me to go to the Lord God of Creation and ask for guidance and understanding for this book by R.C has raised a question or two in my mind that I had not gone to the Lord with before. And that is what you should use my commentary for. For I too am only a man. I did not create you, I did not write the Bible, I am not 100% knowledgeable of the Bible and what God meant throughout His Bible. Nor did I leave heaven come to earth and die for you.

I honestly believe that my commentary on the Bible is as good, if not better, than just about all the commentary out there. But, compared to God's word and the guidance of the Holy Ghost, my commentary is trash. Trash good for nothing but to cause you to Go to God with questions of your own seeking answers by and through Him. For it is He and only He who knows exactly what He said and exactly what He meant when He said it.

Lord Jesus You, the Father, and the Holy Ghost know what spurred this thought. So Lord I place them in Your hands. I loved talking to them and it is now up to You, for I said all I had to say on the subject. As You know, they stayed and listened, asked good questions and took good notes, now Lord it is in Your hands as are they. I pray You'll let them into our family. Amen.

* son of man as used in Matthew 12:31&32 is not Jesus. Look at the Greek: huios, hwee-os' apparently a primary word; a "son" (sometimes of animals), used very widely of immediate, remote or figuratively, kinship:--child, foal, son. This same word can be used meaning Jesus, but when we look at the context, it can not mean Jesus for Jesus is God. Therefore deductive reasoning tells you it, in this instance son of man means human children, you, me, the guy down the street.

Thank You Lord,

Your little spoiled brother Bob.

Amen.

Sha'al shalowm Yruwshalaim.

Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
