Tis that time of the year again.

Yes, it is once again time for the kids to go back to school. So, today, instead of giving you some really good reasons to start a house church. Instead of trying to get you to understand the Biblical prohibition on women pastors/leaders. I am going to go back to; If you don't train 'em, don't blame 'em.

Now, while this thought is addressed primarily to fathers, in families where there is no dad, it is addressed to mothers.

Dads, first of all you need to understand a few things. You and your children are judged by what they wear, what they say, and what your kids have wrapped around their books. While many would say 'you can not judge a book by the cover', I would have to disagree. I think you can judge a child and his or her parents by what that child is wearing, by the words that come out of that child's mouth, by that child's actions and even by the book covers that child uses.

If your son goes into the ninth grade quoting the politically correct garbage about homosexuality being and acceptable alterative life style, while dressed in those hip hugger pants, wearing earrings and a swagger, don't be surprised if every homosexual teacher in the school hits on him. For if he looks like a male slut, walks like a male slut, dresses and speaks like a pro-homosexual male slut, expect him to be treated like a male slut.

If your seventh grade daughter goes to classes wearing the newest fashions, don't be surprised when she comes to you looking for a ride to the nearest abortion mill. For people will judge her and treat her as what her appearance projects her to be.

But, if your child goes to school wearing clothes that are designed to cover, not entice, if they go to school dressed, speaking and acting as one who has respect for themselves, their parents and Jesus, then they will be respected, they maybe ridiculed, but they will be respected.

Look, if you're reading this, the chances are good that you are either a Christian or seeking information on being Christ's. One of the responsibilities of a Christian father is to raise his children loving the Lord and knowing Him and His rules. Now, I must be honest with you, and this is going to upset some of the women. Even some whom I know better than others and one or two whom I really love. But, I would rather see a single mom on welfare and home schooling her kid(s) than out there working and sending her kid(s) to government run schools.

If you don't train 'em, don't blame 'em.

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates.

That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him; Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. And, There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as He hath said unto you. (Deuteronomy 11:18-25 ACP/KJV)

Those verses above are just as valid today as they were the day that Moses uttered them. If you raise your children to honor, love, fear, serve, and obey the Lord than the Lord will help you and them. He will protect you and them, He will guide them and they in turn will be good kids, ones a parent should and would be proud of.

But, if you turn your back on your responsibilities to raise your children properly, if you dress them like sluts, teach them to use language unbecoming a child, especially a Christian child, then don't be surprised when your kids are looked upon as nothing more than meat on a hook.

Christian children should be taught to understand that they are never alone, that Jesus is always with them, and that their actions will either put a smile on His face or a tear in His eye. I'm going to add something here. Guys, I have come to the conclusion that dating leads to no good. I am becoming more and more convinced that your child should only see those children that you approve of and that no two children of the opposite sex should ever be left alone without a parent. They have plenty of time to kiss after they get married. Think about it, how do they get to know each other, without you around, better than they would with you around? And under no circumstances whatsoever, should your children ever be allowed to be alone with unsaved children of the opposite or even the same sex.

Look, if you insist on sending your kids to the public schools, at least know the teachers they will come in contact with. Ask those teachers questions. Ask them if they belong to the NEA. Ask them their opinion on homosexuality. Ask them where they go to church. Ask them what they think of the Bible, ask them who they say Jesus is. Ask them questions, because those teachers are the ones your kid(s) spends more time with than they do with you. It is the public schools that teaches your kids how to interact with others, what they should think of society and society's rules. It is those teachers that will give your kids the moral underpinning that you should be giving them.

What if your kids teacher is a homosexual, what kind of social norms do you think that homosexual is going to instill in your kid? What if the teacher is a whicca witch or God forbid a muslim, what do you think they will instill in your child concerning the Christ?

Can I show you one last bit of Old Testament Scripture that every father should take to heart? It deals with fathers who don't teach their children about Jesus. No? Ok, maybe another time, but suffice it to say, that God does not smile on those who spiritually kill the little ones He entrusts to you.

Guys, take the time to get involved in your kid's lives, look at them, look at their clothing, and then think of what other men must think when they see your kid walking down the street.

If you don't train 'em, don't blame 'em! blame yourself.

Lord help us as we approach the 11th of September, help us understand that schools are soft targets, help us to understand what You would have us to do. For it is in the name of Jesus we pray.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

I would also like to thank the Lord that Dorothy has a large print Bible, while I am not to happy about the way she got it, I am pleased that she has it. And now my prayer is that she will read it and the Lord will let the Holy Spirit guide her to understanding it. Amen.

The Lord be with you all and please keep me in your prayers. I have some very important decision to make over the next few weeks or months, I need your prayers. Amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for the daughters of Will, for Will, and his mom. Pray that the Lord will put the girls back under the control of Steve.

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush and Michael have, they, Rush, Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
