A daily Christian thought from:

I know it's hard.

I guess if you have been reading the thoughts over the last week or so you have come to know that my wife an I are looking for a new home church. Why we are in this predicament is the same as many of you find yourself in, churches becoming more and more liberal and less and less Christ centered. More and more churches are ordaining women. More and more often we see homosexuals being either ordained or churches arguing within themselves about whether or not homosexuals should be ordained by that church or denomination.

To even have discussions about the ordaining of homosexuals and/or women shows a serious lack of knowledge of the Word of God. While I am not going to go into all of the scripture that makes it obvious that neither women nor homosexuals should be ordained or for that fact even on the pulpit. I will show you one concerning each.

On ordaining homosexuals: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

On ordaining women: Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. (1 Corinthians 14:24)

But, putting those two groups into the pulpit is becoming more and more popular in our main stream churches and denominations. Even some of the smaller independent churches are putting women in positions over men, using them as Sunday school teachers in classes with men in them.

It has gotten to the point where more and more are staying home and not going to church, they have just given up on finding a real Christ centered Bible preaching and believing church. But, we can't. We have to find church families.

Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.

But exhorting one another, and so much the more, as ye(we) see the day approaching.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted(done opposite to) the Blood of the covenant, wherewith he(the Christian) was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:22-29 ACP/KJV)

No, we can not give up on finding a church family, our presence is just too important. How are you to support and edify, comfort and console other Christians, if you do not have a Christian church family? It comes down to this. We as Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians must either find a solid Christian church home and family or start one ourselves.

May the Lord God of Creation, Christ Jesus, help you who are looking for churches to attend in finding one, may He help Cec and I in our search, and may He continue to bless those of you who now have solid Christ centered, Christ fearing, Christ preaching church families.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
