Thanks to ACP's Steve Burzlaff, we now have the Evanglical handout, "What If" in PDF format.>BR> For the "What If" evangelical handout in PDF format, click here.
Thank God for Steve,
There is an old saying it goes like this; "Praise the Lord and pass the gunpowder". In essence it means that we are in a war that we praise the Lord because it could be worse but realize we need to fight to win. So, Praise the Lord and pass the gunpowder.
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. As you all know, I have been doing street evangelism in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I plan on doing it for as long as the Lord keeps us here. Now one of the wonderful side effects of doing street evangelism is that eventually someone is going to come to know the Lord and give their life to Christ. At that point in time I would expect either an e-mail, phone call, or personal visit from that person or persons. What they will need the most is the name of a good evangelical Christ centered, Christ fearing, Christ preaching church. A church tat preaches what Christ said, not what He meant to say. And that brings me to the subject of today's thought.
Let us say a month from now, I start to see the first budding of fruit from the street evangelism in Albuquerque. Let's say it goes like this. A man walks up to me on the street and says: "Pastor, I have been looking for you, I read your "What If' handout and I have given my live to Christ. Now what do I do?"
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. What I need to be able to do is refer that man to a solid Christ centered church. Now, unlike the Oxford Hills area of Maine where I know most of the preachers and know of most of the churches, out here, in this area of 750,000 people, I know neither the preachers nor the churches. So, what to do?
What to do is rather simple really, but I need your help. This is what I plan to do and then I will tell you how you can, and I might add, must help, for without your help, I may not be able to do this as quickly as I need to.
This is what I am going to do, I am going to send out to all of the churches in the area that appear, either by their signs or their yellow page adverting, a letter. The letter is as follows:
Dear Senior pastor,
Over the last few weeks and through the next nine months or so I will be on the streets of Albuquerque doing street evangelism. The primary piece of literature I will be using initially can be seen at ChristianPatriot.com/what.pdf . As I evangelize, I would expect that there will come a time when I will be asked to recommend a church by those I have reached. Being new to the area I do not know even one church, in each of the four main areas of the four quarters of the area using I-40 and I-25 as dividing roads, to recommend.
In an effort to know a little about the various churches in the Albuquerque area, I have enclosed a brief seven question questionnaire, could you please take a few moments to fill it out, fold it up, tape it closed and put it in the mail to me?
Please let me thank you in advance,
Rev. Robert M. Celeste for ChristianPatriot.com
1. Pastor, tell me, what must I or anyone do to be saved?
2. Pastor, how do you feel about the ordination of women and or homosexuals?
3. Pastor, in Genesis chapter one, God claims to have made the earth in six, twenty four hour days, what do you think?
4. Pastor, how do you feel about this statement, "the public school system in the United States has become so anti-Christian, that the time has come for Christians to either home-school their children or put them in a Christian school, but not in a public school."
5. Pastor, do you believe in the Trinity? I mean, do you believe that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all One and equal parts of the God Head?
6. Pastor, do you believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, was crucified, died and was raised from the dead?
7. Pastor the Bible teaches us: 'All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:, no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.' Pastor, do you personally believe and teach that every word in the Bible, from the 'In the beginning of Genesis 1:1 to the 'Amen' of Revelation 22:21 to be the word of God?
I will be mailing these out to around 200 plus churches, I will leave plenty fo room for their answers and I won't be mailing them to denominations I know to be liberal, only to churches I suspect as being solid.
Each mailing will require two 39 cent stamps, one to get to the church and one to get back to me. I'll put my return info on the back page with a stamp so that all the Pastor will have to do is fill in the answers, fold it in thirds, put a little tape on it to close it, and drop it back in the mail.
Now here is where I need your help, I need 39 cent stamps. I need 400 plus 39 cent stamps and that is a financial burden for me. So, please, go to the post office get a small booklet of stamps, keeping the tax deductible receipt for your taxes. Preferably plain flag stamps not politically correct stamps and mail them to me as quickly as you can to:

Guys with your help and prayers, we may be able to light a little fire for the Lord in Albuquerque. Please pray for me, Cecily and our family out here. Please pray for Ovide's wife Nancy and Randy's wife Kathy for health and patience for each of those ladies is taking care of three grandchildren on an almost constant basis.
Please pray for the churches who have stayed faithful to Christ, pray that we find at least four, one in each of the four quarters of the city, here in Albuquerque. Please pray that I continue to find small jobs painting, small carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to do out here. And please pray thanking God for the opportunity He has so kindly given us out here in the American west.
Thank You Jesus. Amen.
Sha'al shalowm Yruwshalaim.
Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
