So, honest deduction has to prove to you, since there is no such place as purgatory, that all who are in heaven can see, and therefore those who can not or will not see the Kingdom of Heaven, that Jesus refers to in John 3:3, are not in heaven and therefore by default are either in or are waiting to be cast into the lake of fire.
But, wait you say, "I am a good Lutheran" or "a good Episcopalian" or even worse "a good practicing Roman Catholic", we do not abide by what Jesus said, nor what the Apostle Paul had to say. No, we abide by what the Apostle Peter has said.
Ok, so be it, let us see what the Apostle Peter had to say about tradition versus Christ, traditions versus being a Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian.
First Peter Chapter One
From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ:
Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively(living) hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God, through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season(indeterminate time), if need be, ye are in heaviness(in pain and/or suffering mentally and/or physically) through manifold temptations:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what(for), or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, BE YE HOLY; FOR I AM HOLY (Leviticus 11:44; 19:2; 20:7 and 2 Corinthians 6:14).
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work(decision to accept or reject Christ), pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as(like) silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers (Christ rejecting religious traditions of previous generations);
But with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily(truly and honestly) was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest(made known) in these last times for you, who by(in and through) Him(Jesus) do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the *(W)word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the *(W)word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the *(W)word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (1 Peter 1:1-25 ACP/KJV) * Here the word "word" can be understood to mean either, or both, the Word, meaning Jesus or the word, meaning Scripture.
There you have it, Peter, in his very opening chapter makes it abundantly clear that you are to put aside the vain traditions of previous generations and be a true believer, one washed by the sprinkling of the Lords Blood, one who is Born Again and henceforth a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian. Or, you can choose eternal damnation in the lake of fire.
Help us to understand Lord that all things here on earth, all the things that we so cherish are nothing. That we, like the grass of the fields will soon perish as will all things on earth. Help us Lord to understand that there are but two chooses, the choice of You and life eternal in paradise as Your adopted brother or sister or satan and eternal damnation and torment in the lake of fire. Help all to understand Lord that there aint no purgatory.
Help us Lord, by putting the right words in our mouths and in our pens, to cause our unsaved, kin and friends to understand that choice. Help us Lord to wake up this nation to the perils that abound within her and around her.
Lord, if I have found favor in Thy sight, I ask Thee Lord to bless those preachers who preach Your word and Your truths and Lord, while I know this is hard, I ask Thee to intercede on behalf of all those who are being led astray by preachers who preach lies, who preach salvation by any other means, other than You and Your Blood. That You would deal with them, removing them from positions that men, women and children listen to them thinking that they are Christian preachers.
May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.
There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.
The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
