Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant, the world famous basketball star has been charged with rape, and the trial has started. Now I don't know if he is guilty of rape or not, but this I do know, he is guilty of committing adultery. And his parents are guilty of being more interested in seeing him practice his basketball than studying his Bible.

God the Father said: "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." (Deuteronomy 6:6&7)

What is it that God the Father, Jehovah, is saying we should teach our children? The Ten Commandments, amongst other things, and within the Ten Commandments lies this bit of wisdom that had Kobe's parents drilled it into his head, would have saved him from the trial he is about to face. "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Had Kobe's father been as interested in his son's soul and Christian upbringing as he was his son's basketball, kobe would not be in the mess he now finds himself.

I hope other kids learn from the hard lesson that Kobe is teaching them. The lesson is simply stay faithful to your wife, do not commit adultery.

The Lord be with and bless you all and may you all keep this very important point in mind. It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

Lord I would also ask You to be with my friend Mac, and for the salvation of Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh. Amen.

All Scripture is quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
