Be sober, be vigilant

The Apostle Peter warns us in First Peter chapter five verse eight to: "Be sober, and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

You know, when you look at the book of Job, you can see how serious we should take this warning, for in it we see: Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." (Job 1:6&7)

God said to satan; "Whence comest thou?" or Where have you been? Or, where are you coming from? Satan replies to God by saying; "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."

What the Apostle Peter is warning us about is that satan, the devil, is on earth looking to see whom he can corrupt. He uses money, drugs, sex, power, vanity, ego, jealousy, and any number of other emotional ploys to corrupt those who are weak, that would be all of mankind.

Why does satan do this? Ever heard the old saying, "misery loves company"? Well satan is in for an eternity of misery and he is looking for company. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10) Are you going to be his company? Are you going to be one of the majority of mankind that spends eternity in the lake of fire, a lake of fire and brimstone that burns throughout all eternity causing pain and suffering beyond our wildest imaginations?

Let's continue with chapter twenty of the Book of the Revelation of the Lord Jesus, the Christ to His servant the Apostle John:

And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever's name was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15)

So, are you going to one of those who are going to be cast into the eternal lake of fire, to spend eternity with your master satan? You don't have to be, but if your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life, you will be one of those keeping satan company throughout all eternity. Cause there aint no purgatory!

How do you become one of the minority? How do you avoid keeping satan company throughout all eternity? How do you become the adopted brother or sister of the Lord God Creator of the world instead of a slave to satan? Read John Chapter three verses 1-20 and the Lord will explain it to you. For your salvation is your responsibility.

The Lord God of Creation, Messiah Y'shua show you pity, and help you understand. So be it.

The Lord be with and bless you all and may you all keep this very important point in mind. It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

Lord I would also ask You to be with my friend Mac, and for the salvation of Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh. Amen.

All Scripture is quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
