Today, we are going to be in Luke Chapter fourteen. But first there is something I need to tell you. This is addressed primarily to those of you who are active and reserve US military, members of the various unorganized state militias and fathers of home school families.

I am, as I have said on numerous occasions, neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but, I am one who is aware of what is going on around us. And as such, I am concerned with france, Europe, the east, our north and our south. While Canada, Mexico, france, and China do not have a lot in common, the one thing they do have in common is an intense hatred of us, the citizen owners of the USA. Some time over the next few days, if you fall into one of the categories above, I would like you to go to ChristianPatriot.com/george.htm and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Now, without further ado, let us get to today's thought, for we have much to thank God for, we thank Him for saving our country from the radical communist kerry/edwards agenda. We thank Him for destroying the homosexual marriage agenda in eleven states, but we must pray for Maine for Maine is to the left of Vermont and is saddled with a governor that hates babies in the womb, traditional marriage, Christians and Christ. And what better way can we show our thanks to God than to rea and study what He has to tell us through His open letter to us, the Holy Bible.

Luke Chapter Fourteen

1 And it came to pass, as Jesus went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched Him. Don't you love this, they watched Him, kind of like a snake watches a bird or Chirac watches President Bush.

2 And, behold, there was a certain man before Him which had the dropsy(a disease that causes swelling of the joints and muscles). 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 4 And they held their peace. And He took him, and healed him, and let him go; 5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? 6 And they could not answer Him again to these things. The lawyers and the Pharisees put the well being and lives of their life stock ahead of the lives and health of the common man. We in Maine and throughout the US have laws protecting certain fowls of the air eggs, but encourage and even pay for with tax dollars the slaughter of humans in the womb.

7 And He put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when He marked(noticed) how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them; 8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honorable man than thou be bidden of him; 9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, 'Give this man place;' and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. 10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, 'Friend, go up higher:' then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. On the eve of His trial and execution, at supper, who washed whose feet? Did th disciples come and wash the Lord's feet, or did Jesus wash their feet? In the last three months, hav you visited anyone in the hospital? Prison? Have you given anything to the poor? Have you even once told anyone the plan of Salvation? Do you know an understand the plan of Savation well enough to explain it?

12 Then said He also to him that bade Him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbors; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee. 13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. Can I make a suggestion to you? In less than three weeks, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. How about doing this, make two or three extra portions, no, I'm not going to sk you to invite a couple of bums or poor folk into your home, God forbid I should be so arrogant as to suggest that you should let some stinky bum into your house, after all, I won't. But, how about making two or three extra portions and then bring them to a family you know who might be old or sick or poor. Don't surprise them, call a week or two ahead and just ask them if you can bring them two or three portions fro their thanksgiving dinner.

15 And when one of them that sat at meat with Him heard these things, he said unto Him, "Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God." 16 Then said he unto him; A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, 'Come; for all things are now ready.' 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, 'I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.' 19 And another said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.' 20 And another said, 'I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.' Hey, those are good excuses, the next time you see an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus, just think t yourself, "I'd tell this guy about Jesus, but I have to go get my garden ready". Or "I'd tell this girl about Jesus, but I need to go de-flea my cat." Or better yet, how about this, "I'd tell this kid about Jesus, but, My wife is at home waiting to ....." Ya, those are really, really good excuses, or are they?

21 So that servant came, and shewed(told) his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.' 22 And the servant said, 'Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.' 23 And the lord said unto the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.' Opps, maybe they are not such good excuses after all, for, the master of the house is God, the savant doing the bidding is Jesus, the ones making the excuses are all but those who are true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, Evangelical Christians, Christians who evangelize.

25&27 And there went great multitudes with Him: and He turned, and said unto them; 26 If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple. Have you put Jesus ahead of everything and everyone? Do you put Jesus ahead of your mom, your dad, your wife, your kids? How about your car, your boat, your computer or even your favorite tie? Would you die for Him? Do you know what the word disciple means? It means, in this instance, he who is going to heaven and not the lake of fire.

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 saying, 'This man began to build, and was not able to finish.' 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. You go to the car dealer to buy a new car and the dealer wants to look at your credit history and income, you go to the bank to buy a house and you and the banker look at your income to see if you can make the payments, while heating th hoseand paying th taxes and insurance. Before we retaliated against Iraq for their part in attacking us on 9-11-01, and before we go into Iran and Syria, we will have those good folks in Washington look at the finances of it, just to make sure we can afford to protect ourselves. But, do we ever sit down and check the balance sheet of our Salvation? When was the last time you got on your knees and asked your Lord and Master if there is anything you can do for Him?

33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple. 34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. What does Jesus mean when He says, "whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple."? Salt is those who claim to be Christians, losing it's savour is one who does not evangelize and abide by the orders of Jesus, the dunghill is the lake of fire. (Luke 14:1-35 ACP/KJV)

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." Guys, I want you t read President George Washington's vision because I want you t take note of three things, the first two have been fulfilled, we won the revolution, we had a civil war that tore apart the nation, but we came back together again and third, in part three, imagine the war, imagine the huge numbers of dead, and understand that we get no help from Jesus till those who are left repent and return to Him. Before those who are left repent, and Jesus let's His angles help, the number of dead is staggering. You very easily could be one of them, as could your wife, parents, kids or friends.

Understand these two things: One, there is no purgatory, there is only eternal paradise with Jesus and eternal pain and suffering in the lake of fire with satan and his. And the second is that the choice between Christ and satan must take place before you die.

The Lord be with you all, and may you stop putting the things of this world ahead of Jesus. We all do it to one degree or another, including me. Jesus says, sell all you have, give to the poor, pick up your cross and follow Me. Have I done that? Of course not, how could I be putting up this thought if I sold my computer? But does that mean that I should not repent of the fact that I have not done what He commands me to do? God forbid. Work it out with Jesus guys.

Amen.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
