Thank God for Steve,
I don't think that in the last ten years I have ever done a thought primarily addressed to the unsaved, but today's thought is just that.
What would it take to cause you to stop what you are doing, open the Bible and read it because you were convinced that it is the word of God and that it is the only place you can turn. In other words, what would it take to get you to read the Bible in such a fervor that you were reading it as if your life depended on it? What would it take for your main desire in life to be becoming a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian?
Now the rest of this thought deals with Scripture, so those of you whom this thought was addressed to may want to leave.
We are now back to those of you who are Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. Guys, I want you to read an account given in the prophecy of God through the voice of the prophet Ezekiel. Then, if you would be so kind, I would like you to ask your unsaved friends the question: "What would it take to cause you to stop what you are doing, open the Bible and read it because you were convinced that it is the word of God and that it is the only place you can turn. In other words, what would it take to get you to read the Bible in such a fervor that you were reading it as if your life depended on it? What would it take for your main desire in life to be a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian?"
Then measure their answer against what God is telling us will happen:
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
And God said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, "O Lord GOD, Thou knowest."
Again God said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, 'O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said God unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, 'Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.'
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. (Ezekiel 37:1-10 ACP/KJV)
Would God raising an army out a graveyard turn them to the Lord? Would it take more? If so what?
Just as it is necessary for you to know what is wrong with your body before you can take the right herb to repair it, so is it necessary to know what the unsaved are looking for. I, think we will be surprised to find that it will not take all that much for our unsaved friends and kin to become seekers of Christ. But, we will never know how to help them, if we don't know what's keeping them from Christ.
Guys, as you ask and get answers, would you please email the answer to me using the form at: Christian-news-in-maine.com/form.htm
Lord, help us to spread Thy word. Please help us Lord. And Lord, one other thing, Lord, in Your word you tell us that David had and dedicated to the building of Your house 15 million pounds of gold and 150 million pounds of silver. Lord, why are so many of us living hand to mouth today? Thank You Jesus. Amen.
Sha'al shalowm Yruwshalaim.
Never ever forget this: There aint no purgatory!

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."
Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.
The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.
It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
