Monday November 15th,

they know not what they do.

As Jesus hung on the cross, He looked up towards heaven and said: Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. (Luke 23:34 ACP/KJV) Have you ever wondered to yourself just who and what God the Son was asking God the Father to forgive? Who it was that knew not what they were doing? And what it was that they had done?

And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked Him, saying, "Art Thou the King of the Jews?" And Jesus said unto him, thou sayest.

And when He was accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto Him, "Hearest Thou not how many things they witness against Thee?" And Jesus answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor greatly marveled.

Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, "Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?" For he knew that for envy they had delivered Jesus.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, "Have thou nothing to do with that just Man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of Him." But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. The governor answered and said unto them, "Which of the two will ye that I release unto you? They said, "Barabbas." Pilate saith unto them, "What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?" They all say unto him, "Let Him be crucified." And the governor said, "Why, what evil hath He done?" But they cried out the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified." When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, " I am innocent of the blood of this Just Person: see ye to it."

Then answered all the people, and said, "His blood be on us, and on our children." (Matthew 27:11-25 ACP/KJV)

So, who is the Lord talking about when He looked towards heaven and commanded: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." ?

Jesus was talking about the people who had, in their zeal for blood, said: "His blood be on us, and on our children." They had not just condemned themselves, in their stupidity, but their children as well. Had the Lord not said "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.", no Jew would have ever been able to become a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian. For they had condemned themselves and their posterity to everlasting damnation for what they had done, by saying, "His blood be on us, and on our children." This is the only instance in the entire word of God that I can find where God overruled man's own free will, man's ability to choose.

The jews had condemned themselves by choosing satan and saying "His blood be on us, and on our children" But, God choose to disregard their stupidity and give them another chance. How sad it is that so few Jews take that advantage of the second opportunity. How just as sad it is that so few of the Gentile world do either. We, in the USA just finished having an election, in that election two men vied for the office of king of the USA, one, President Bush, banned the horrific practice of offering up live children to satan as blood sacrifices through the grisly, brutal, barbaric, infanticidle practice of partial birth abortion. The other, Kerry, voted against the banning six times. Only 52% voted for President Bush.

Pray Jesus will look down from heaven at the people of the USA and say: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." But, how can we? For Jesus can not lie and after over ten years of debate, how can anyone say, they did not know what was at stake, what it meant to vote for John Kerry. Just as sure as everyone knows exactly what is being done to their children when they send them to a public school, so also does everyone know what it meant to vote for John Kerry. Yet, very few love their own children enough to take them out of the public school system, so how could we expect them to care enough about a weak little, defenseless human being to raise a finger or even a vote to protect them from being used as blood sacrifices to satan? How or why should we expect people who hate their own children so much that they send them to satan's workshop, the public school system, to care enough to lift a finger to prevent a baby from being 98% delivered and then sacrificed up to satan as a blood sacrifice. And how can I be so naive as to ask Jesus to lie and say: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."?

But, I can not bring myself to ask Jesus to do what I know He needs to do to get this nation back on the right path. For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. (Proverbs 3:12), If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the Father chasteneth not? (Hebrews 12:7 ACP/KJV) And there are more, but, how can we ask God to look down upon us and say to God: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."? When what we really need is a good spanking.

There are two things that are destroying our nation and widening the gap between us and Christ. Abortion and the corrupting of our children by the public school system. I know that we are not going to deal with either one. After all, how can we expect to find the courage to close the public school system, the nations kiddy kennels, the recruiting ground for the pornography industry, the prostitution industry, the abortion industry, the anti-Christ religions fountain of youth, when only 52% will even vote for the man who banned the human offering of live children to satan as blood offerings through 98% delivery and then slaughter.

No, I'm afraid we can not look up to heaven and ask God to lie to God for us by saying: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." And I can not bring myself to ask for the punishment we, as an errant and sinful child, deserve. So I guess what we had best pray is that God does love us enough to take matters into His own hands without our asking Him. For what child is it that comes to a father and asks to be spanked, beat, punished?

A simple trip to the local mall, turning on the televison, or reading one of the more popular magazines will show you in graphic detail what is happening to our children in the public school system. And it does not take much thinking to realize that it will only get worse. For as long as men and women, fathers and mothers, love things more than their children, the public kiddy kennels will thrive and ...

Thank You Lord for caring for and loving us so much, thank You for forgiving us for our stupidity and stiff-necked behavior. Lord, I know that someday some preacher will say: "... And refused to obey, neither were mindful of Thy wonders that Thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but Thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not." (Nehemiah 9:17 ACP/KJV).

But, Lord, let Thy patience be such that it comes after You have let me come home. For Lord I have no desire to see Thy vengeance, Thy just vengeance poured out on this nation. Yet, I know that while what we are doing to our children in abolition clinics and in the public schools causes You to cry, I also realize that You are slow to anger and just in Your desire to see us correct ourselves. Or giving us time to get to the point where we are so bad that You must do something to let us know that You do exist and that You will judge.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
