Wednesday November 17th,

Lo, we have left all, and followed Thee.

Before we get into today's thought there are a few things I would like to mention, kind of in reverse order, the least important first and the most important last.

First; I would like to give you and example of just how out and out stupid the Christ denying evolution believing fool is. The most recent insanity to come out of the evolutionist sewer they call a mouth is that birds evolved from dinosaurs. What do they base this on? Speculation. Speculation that dinosaurs may have, might have, could possibly have had hollow bones. Well if they can speculate based upon stupidity, so can I. Do you have a cat? If so go catch him or her, or it, if when it was a he or she you had taken him or her to the vet for one of those operations to make him or her into an it. OK, got him, her or it? Hold back his, her or it's ears and look into his, her or it's face. Does that face not look like a snake's face? Look at the shape of his, her, or it's head, is it not reminiscence of the head of a snake? A poisonous snake at that? So, my absolutely stupid statement based upon flawed observation and a whole lot of absolutely insane speculation is that cats evolved from snakes or maybe snakes evolved from cats. There, do you see how stupid evolution is? Do you see how it takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does in God's word the Holy Bible?

Second; This is for all those combat Second Lieutenants, First Lieutenants, and Captains. Get rid of the reporters! I am going to talk to you as if you were my son. Son, why are you placing the liberal left wing anti US military reporters and camera men in with your men? Why are you putting those, whose parents you must write to in the event they die, in front of the enemy liberal US Military haters of the old media? If I were the three star in charge of the Marines in Fallujah, I would have that Company Commander in-front of me so fast it would make his head swim, and when he walked out of my office he would know that his career was over!

Look at how God commands His troops in the Old Testament. Do you think He would have ever allowed the enemy to be within and behind His troops demoralizing them and video taping their every move? You O-1's thru O-3's, if you must have embedded enemy within your Company, keep them and their cameras away from your fighting men, keep them back with your Headquarters group.

And now, I have saved the best for last. This Friday, ChristianPatriot.com's new associate Pastor is going to do the thought. His name is Steve Burzlaff, he and his family live in Elizabeth, Kentucky, I have known Steve for seven years now and the Lord has made it perfectly clear to me that it is Steve He wants me to rely upon when I cannot do the thought or just need to go fishing. God willing, Steve will have equal access to ChristianPatriot.com and be ordained this coming summer. Please keep him and his in your payers.

Now, let us get to today's thought. And as you read today's Scripture, see if you can find the three things mentioned above. For there is indeed prove that evolution is a lie, that men in command must put their men's safety first and that when you are called to serve the Lord, you should say, "Yes."

Luke Chapter Eighteen

1 And Jesus spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, 'Avenge me of mine adversary.' 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'

6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?

Shall we use a bit of Scripture to explain verses 1-8? Sure, why not, for it is Scripture that we are here to look at and study, otherwise we could be talking about Condi Rice and the timely death of Arafat. Ah, but if we were to talk about the death of Arafat, we would then have to be looking at and studying Ezekiel 35. So, let us get back to Scriptre to expand upon and define Luke 18:1-8. "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16b

9 And Jesus spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank Thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.' 13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, 'God be merciful to me a sinner.' 14 I tell you, this man (the Publican) went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Let us again turn to Scripture to explain verses 9-14. "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for Righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:3-12

15 And they brought unto Him also infants, that He would touch them: but when His disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

When you were a little child and your dad put you on a table, took a couple of steps back, clapped his hands together, smiled and called you to him, you toddled right over, right over the end of the table, for you had faith, you trusted your dad not to let you get hurt. It is that type of faith that you must have in Jesus to be Saved.

18 And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, "Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou Me good? none is good, save One, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, "All these have I kept from my youth up."

22 Now when Jesus heard these things, He said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow Me.

The USMC has a platoon leader, a company XO and a company commander that lack love for their men, lack the desire to put the safety of their men ahead of the love of Tom Brokaw and CBS. Pray for them and their men, especially their men. For if these Marine Corps Officers do not love those men entrusted to their care, what do you think they will say to Jesus when He says to them: "sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow Me."

23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24&25 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, He said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

There is nothing wrong with riches, as long as you earn them honestly and use them to further God's kingdom. If you are a doctor, dentist or other who has so priced your services that a home schooling family without insurance can not afford you, well, I pity you.

But, if you are a preacher holding out for more money, a better retirement program and nicer robes, I truly am scared for you.

If you are just a plain everyday Joe, who goes to church on Sunday and, in the words of the Lord's half brother James: "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, 'Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled', notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?" Than I truly cry for and over you.

26 And they that heard it said, "Who then can be saved?" 27 And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. 28 Then Peter said, "Lo, we have left all, and followed Thee." 29 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Let me ask you a question, and this is not a rhetorical question, it is one I really want your to answer within yourself. Let us say that you gave so much to the poor that one really cold night your furnace ran out of fuel and you froze to death. Where would you wake up? Now let's look at it another way. Let's say that you gave nothing to the poor and one night there was a power failure, it was on a night that was brutally cold, and because fo the power failure your furnace failed, and you froze to death. Where would you wake up?

31 Then He took unto Him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets, concerning the Son of Man, shall be accomplished. 32 For He shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: 33 And they shall scourge Him, and put Him to death: and the third day He shall rise again.

In Revelation chapter three there are three groups mentioned, they are the three groups that every man, woman and child today falls into one of. There is the synagogue of satan that deny's that verses 31-33 above will ever happen. There is the church of Laodicia that is in essence still waiting for it to happen and there is the Church of Philadelphia. I do pray that before anyone who has ever wondered onto ChristianPatriot.com , ever talked to me, or has ever been prayed for by me will be within the safe walls of the Church of Philadelphia before they take their last breath.

34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. 35 And it came to pass, that as He was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, "Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me."

39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, "Thou Son of David, have mercy on me." 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto Him: and when he was come near, He asked him, 41 saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, "Lord, that I may receive my sight." 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. (Luke 18:1-43 ACP/KJV)

In this chapter we see the key to Salvation. We see Jesus saying sell all and trust in Me. We see Peter saying that they had left everything behind and Jesus assuring him that they would be well cared for, for their sacrifice. And we see a man restored because of his faith and his confessing Jesus to be the Son of David. Now while we know that Jesus is not the son fo David, but David's Lord, this blind man put his faith In Jesus and called upon Him using what he thought was the most honorable title that he could bestow upon Him, and then he praised and glorified God and followed Jesus.

The Lord be with you all.

I would ask you to mention Mac, his friend Bob Buttersly, a young man named Eddy, Kevin and family, Nancy and her family, Allen, Danny, Sean and Kelly. Diana, Theresa, Jim, Race, and the guy in Sears tat I witnessed to yesterday. Pastors who preach what Jesus said, not what they know He meant to say and their families and the men and women keeping us safe from the terrorist.

Are you tired of the Christ denying news in maine? www.christian-news-in-maine.com You can make this the best paper in Maine, but it only happens with your help and effort.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac and Cecily to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
