First and foremost, I am thankful to God for who He is and what He has done for me. Thank God for God
I am thankful for my salvation, for my desire to do ChristianPatriot.com and Christian-news-in-maine.com and for the one piece of Scripture that most allows me to continue with these two even with the snide and hateful remarks that are so prevalent from those who disagree. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.
(John 15:18 ACP/KJV)
Now, in no particular order, I am going to list people whom I am so grateful to the Lord God of Creation, Christ Jesus for. For there is no way I have ever done anything in my life worthy of having folks like this in my life.
Jesus has blessed me with four mentor pastors; Rev. Lester Kringle, Rev. Don Demars, Rev. Warren Fuestel, and Rev. Jim Marstaller. How I thank God for these four men and their wives and their families.
The Lord knows that ChristianPatriot.com could not function without Steve Burzlaff and his family, how grateful I am to Jesus for Steve, his wife and all of those who come to ChristianPatriot.com on a regular basis.
And, had not God blessed me with Larry Austin, Linda Kimball, Rev. Fred Meekin and Danny Calhoun, Skip Foley and Eric Winckler, where would Christian-news-in-maine.com be? Would there even be a Christian-news-in-maine.com?
Would Cec and I be living under a bridge had not the Lord Jesus brought the Boos family into our lives? More than likely the answer is yes. Would we be able to visit prisoners had not the Lord brought Ovide, Nelson and theirs into our lives? No, no chance.
Without Allen I would have never dreamt of having a heart for prisoners, nor would I have ever gone to Kentucky, West Virginia and Indiana.
Without Bob and Joan, Warren and Helen, I would never have learned to be the man I pray I am and the husband my wife thinks I am. I won't even be the great guy my cat thinks I am when I let him out.
How I thank God for Molly and her mom, S/Sgt. Jim, our church family, Max and Ruth, Nancy and Linda. Baby Christians like Eric, Gabe, Mel and Steve.
Where would I be without Mike Heath, Rev. Dallas Henry, Pastor Dick and their families, Wendell Scribner and his family, Dr. Allen Bean, Susie and Tyler.
The list is so long, it includes men whom I hardly ever hear from, men whom the Lord seems to know just when I need them, like the Pastor of Jay's Temple, those that still encourage after all these years from Freerepublic.com. And the Lord for giving me a sense of humor Ah, baking bread or flatulence in an elevator , Mike Bemis Why I thank God for Mike, Only Christ can get the Bergs...
Herschel Gates of Tucumcari, New Mexico's Painting: ,
I thank God for teaching me this: "Not a very long time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old
daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the
child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.
Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy."
He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He yelled at her, "Don't you know that when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside it?"
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness. It is said that the man still keeps that gold box by his bed and whenever he is discouraged, he will take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each of us has been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses
from our children, friends, family, and God, for our wives, our children, families and friends are a gift from
God! A gift that if you don't know God, looks, at times, like a little empty box wrapped by a three year old
with ten thumbs.
Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage (gift) of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his ( a mans) reward ( from both God and the mans wife). (ACP/KJV)"
How I thank Jesus for all those men who so love their wives and kids that they work two and even three jobs so that mom can stay home and homeschool their kids. How I thank Him for giving many of these men the heart to lead their family in prayer and devotions each day.
But where did it all start? How negligent I would be to not be grateful this ThanksGiving day for Chicky Nolan whom the Lord used over fifty years ago to plant the seed, Abraham Murray Cohen whom the Lord used some thirty years ago to water that parched seed, and Ernie Lowell who prayed that seed, me, into fruition and watched it bloom for the Lord.
Jesus has given me a wife I do not deserve, a ministry that stretches me and rewards me, brothers and sisters that no king on earth can rival for loyalty and love. How I thank Him, for nothing I ever did earned me the right to call Him Master, Lord, King, God, never mind Brother.
I know I have missed a lot, but forgive me, for this is not really about my giving thanks, it is about you. Have you taken a minute to list the things God has just out and out given you? Have you thought of the things you have to give Him thanks for? Try to be more complete than me. If I were to take this space to list everything I owe to the Lord, even Holden, whom I love as only one who loves a fellow laborer of the Lord and whom I give thanks to Jesus for, would yell at me for exceeding my bandwidth.
I love you all and give God thanks for each and every one of you. May the Lord our God, Christ Jesus, bless you each, may He enlarge your ministries, may He give you the strength and single-mindedness of my Brothers Kent Hovind and Ken Ham, and may the Lord God of Creation bless and accept my thanks for those two fine Christian men who specialize in proving He did create all things in six literal 24 hour days, letting me and even encouraging me to use their stuff as if it were mine. Amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.
The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.
All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
