December 27th, 2004 5 days till 2005

Two days ago we celebrated the 2,004th birthday of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus. Now if it was the 2,005th, 2,007th, 2003rd, or even if December 25th is the right day, is unimportant. Had the exact hour and day been important, one of the Apostles would have made mention of the exact hour, day and year. But the exact date is not important, just as, if you adopted a little baby boy or girl and did not know his or her exact birthday, would you not have decided on a date to celebrate his or her birthday just the same? Of course you would, for the exact hour and day is not important what is important is that, that little one is so important to you, that you love that little one so much, that you want to celebrate his or her birth. And so it is with our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus.

We love Him so much, we are so indebted to Him, that we just want to celebrate the fact that He left His heavenly home and came to this earth, His footstool.

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: (Isaiah 66:1 ACP/KJV)

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, 'Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths': But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

Nor by the earth; for it is His footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. (Matthew 5:33-37 ACP/KJV)

And what did He come here to do? Did He come to take over? Did He come to enslave us? Did He come to give us the just deserts of our sins? No, He left heaven and came to earth to fulfill the requirements that He set forth in what we call th Old Testament, the requirements to be the Messiah, the Christ. Requirements that started with His birth by a virgin, whose virginity would remain till He removed it on His way from the safety and comfort of her womb to the harsh realities of life on earth. And ended with His horrific suffering, torture, crucifixion, death, burial, and on the third day, His resurrection.

Before you read the letter below which tells us of a conversation between a daughter and her dad, via the girls mom, I want you to read about and ponder some Scripture:

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." And Jesus said unto them, When ye pray, say;

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him'? And he from within shall answer and say, 'Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.'

I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity(refusing to leave, continued knocking and asking/demanding/begging for the bread,) he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

And I say unto you; Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? Well, If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him? (Luke 11:1-13 ACP/KJV)

If you my friend and in most cases, my brothers and sisters, can find it in your heart to give your children good gifts, think how much more God is not only willing to give you and them gifts, but how much better those gifts are. For what can you give that hasn't already started as something or with something that Jesus created. For if you give your child a sweater made of Wool, is it not made with the wool of sheep that God created? If you give them a computer, is it not made with materials that were first created by Jesus? For All things were made by Jesus; and without Jesus was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3 ACP/KJV amplified)

Did you know that we, here at ChristianPatriot.com are the only ones that Mr. And Mrs. Herschel Gates of Tucumcari, New Mexico have given permission to use this fantastic photo of the sign they erected on their ranch at exactly the place parents park and wait for their kids school bus. Did you know that? Well, now that you do, thank God for Mr. And Mrs. Gates, and after you look at the picture carefully and read the Scripture below it, than, read the note from my brother Bob and his wife, my sister Joan.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (training in love and fear of God and His teachings and ways.). (Proverbs 22:6 ACP/KJV)

Now, my dear brothers and sisters, take a minute to read and reflex upon the story below.

My wife received a phone call a few days ago. It made us both cry although it was a most wonderful thing our daughter had said. She was in her thirties now and had only 10 months ago given birth to her only children. Two of the cutest little boys you'd ever seen. We've helped her a lot in these 10 months. We expressed the love we have for the boys and for her. She and the boys have reciprocated in kind. It hasn't always been this way.

We adopted Bethany when she was only 3 weeks old. She was very cute and a very normal baby girl. She brought a lot of enjoyment to our family. But babies grow up and it wasn't long before she was quite a headache. About 15 years to be exact. The dreaded teens. She ran away. Told us she hated us. Tried to commit suicide. I could go on and on and on. Suffice it to say it was a very trying situation which didn't improve very quickly. Teen years are tough for a lot of parents. Some come out of it quicker than others. I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel although I tried to have faith that God would some day bring us together again.

This happened with the birth of the twins. My wife and I wanted to be part of their lives. Slowly the gulf between Beth and us narrowed. We were enjoying the twins and enjoying watching Beth be a great little mother. She needed lots of help. Both financially and physically. It's impossible to describe how difficult it is to take care of twins. It is a 24 hour job. It seems to be more than double the work for one child. I think the only ones to appreciate that are the mothers of multiple birth children. My wife and I take the kids over night once in a while. When take them back home we both collapse. My wife continually says 'we must remember how difficult this is before we ask for them again'. Then after a day or so we have forgotten because they are so precious.

Well, back to the telephone call I mentioned earlier. Beth called and told my wife a story of 'The Giving Tree'. You see once upon a time there was a tree in the back yard of a little boy. The little boy would go into the back yard and play near the tree. AND the tree loved the little boy so he told the little boy that he could climb in him if he desired. The boy did and the tree loved the little boy. One day the tree told the boy that he could tie a swing on his branches. The boy did this and the tree loved the little boy. One day it was very hot and the boy was out in the yard. The tree invited the boy to find rest in his shade. The boy did this and the tree was very happy to give comfort to the boy.

One day, when the boy grew up, he left home. The tree now didn't see the boy very often and it saddened the tree who missed the boy's fellowship. One day though the young man came home for a visit and the tree was very happy. The young man said that he needed wood to build a boat. So the tree said, "cut some of my branches". The young man did and was happy, and the tree was happy too for he loved the young man. It was a long, long time since seeing the young man when the young man came home again. The tree asked him if was happy and the young man said he would be if he could have some wood to build a house. The tree loved the young man and told him to cut the tree down and use the wood to build a house. This the young man did and the tree was happy because he loved the young man.

The young man came back after a long time and all there was left to the tree was a stump. As the man stood there looking at the stump, the stump said, "sir, would you like to sit down and rest your weary bones" because he loved this man and wanted him to be comfortable. The man sat and rested and was pleased that the tree had made the offer. This tree, as you can see, was a 'giving tree'.

Our daughter after telling this story over the phone said, "Mom, you and Dad are just like that 'giving tree'. You give and give, not because I deserve anything but because you love us. We do love her and have since the first day we saw her. What makes this story more precious is that God loves us that way too. He keeps on giving and giving even though we do not deserve it..... because He loves us. Kind of makes you want to love Him back doesn't it.

Now that we have passed the day we celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus, on, and as we approach the new year, a time when we historically look at ourselves and make determined efforts to change ourselves for the better. In retrospect, what could you have done, or better still, what should you have done to be a better servant of the Lord God of creation, Christ Jesus?

You know, many of you have been visiting ACP for years now, some of you have been coming for the entire eight years, others are new. There is one thing that I would like to see every man who attends ACP to do. That is to visit ordination.org. Go, look and read, then email Dr. Gardner, getting formation on the course that leads to your being ordained. Did you know that anyone of you could go before a church denomination board and seek to be ordained? Do you know what they will ask you before ordaining you? They will ask you, maybe a hundred questions, most of which will deal with "how do you feel about this or how do you feel about that?" "What is your position on this what is your position on that?" What they will be looking for is answers that agree with their particular denominational garbage. At MCAC, they are going to ask you several thousand questions, each of those questions has an answer and that answer is found in the only text book you will be required to read, the KJV.

Becasue of the huge popularity of ACP, I get invitations all the time to be ordained by this denomination or that denomination, what they really want isn't me, what they want is ChristianPatriot.com. I went to a couple, one asked me: "How do you feel about speaking in tongues and do you speak in tongues?" now this denomination is a pretty well respected denomination and I am not here to impugn them, but, my answer really upset them. I said "speaking and interpreting tongues is just one of the many gifts the Holy Spirit may choose to give to one who is truly a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian." My answer to that question became a bone of contention that we could not get past, no matter how many times I went to the Bible, they insisted that to be ordained in their denomination, a Pastor must insist that the only proof of salvation is the speaking in tongues. Another denomination insisted that I preach that there is no eternal damnation that at the end, all either get into heaven or are destroyed, no eternal suffering. When I brought up a couple of the thoughts dealing with "There Aint no purgatory", they flipped out. And yet another insisted that I must agree to demand, from the pulpit of ACP, ten percent tithing. It is for those reasons that while I have seriously considered aligning ACP with either the conservative wing of the four C's denomination or the most fundamental of the Southern Baptist, I have decided to remain with the dual ordination of pastor of The Church for the American CHRISTian Patriot, ACP and Minister's for Christ Assembly of Churches, MCAC.

I would like to remind you, those denominations called me, I didn't go seeking them. With MCAC, the questions are all answered within the KJV, God's word, the Holy Bible. For when one is ordained, what are they ordained as? Is it not as a CHRISTian preacher? And if a CHRISTian preacher, than should we not preach what CHRIST ordered us to preach? And if so, than what has the Lord God of creation, Christ Jesus ordered us to preach?

Afterward Jesus appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen. And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:14&15 ACP/KJV)

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying:

All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:16-20 ACP/KJV)

For this coming year, I would like nothing more than for every man who comes to ACP to attend te ordination course at MCAC. Not to be ordained by men to preach the things of men, but to know that you have reached the point where you have a solid enough grasp of the Word of God to go out and stand up for Him.

Is it not time for you to get off the Stump and plant some seeds? To get off the Stump and water It? To get off the Stump and give It some shade? Is it not time for you to understand the Word and the word? Is it not time for you to rid yourself of the denominational garbage and wash yourself in the Blood of Christ?

Let me just close with this: To each man, woman, and child falls the responsibility for their own salvation, not to me, not to any other preacher, but to each and every man, woman, and child worldwide. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10:14 ACP/KJV)

The Lord be with each and everyone of you. Amen.

May the Lord understand the importance of Mac, Cecily, Steve, and Rev. Jim Marstaller to this ministry. Lord I need them both healthy and able to continue to hold up their ends. Lord this cancer of Mac's is starting to get in the way, this ministry needs him whole, just a thought Lord, is all it will take, just a thought on Your part.

There is a young man, a veteran who suffers from some kind of chemical weapon exposure, in a Veterans hospital in Colorado, he is young, and he is Saved, yet his wife just abandoned him. Please pray for him, Lord, help him and deal with her and those who hurt him, we ask this of the Father in Your name Lord Jesus, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with and bless you all, amen.

The difference between a true preacher and a false preacher comes down to this. The true preacher uses God's word to convict of sin, the false preacher twist God's word to justify sin. The Lord our God, Christ Jesus be with you always, amen.

The Lord our God, Christ Jesus, be with you all and please keep your pastor and me in your prayers. Amen. My prayer daily is "Lord please bless those tenfold who bless me."

Pray for my friend Mac, pray for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. While the Lord does not need the platforms and audiences that Rush, Sean and Michael have, they, Rush, Sean and Michael and their audiences need the Lord.

Pray for the President, pray for Attorney General John Ashcroft, pray for me, pray for all those who open their mouths or take pen in hand in an effort to sway public opinion.

The Lord God of the Universe, Messiah Y'shua be with you all, amen.

It is better to be a horse fly in the stables of the Lord Jesus than the CEO of hell.

All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, except when done by a guest, is from the ACP/authorized 1611 King James Version. The words in red are those quotes of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those qoutes spoken directly by God the Father and the words in this sickly greenish color are of satan. But all of the Bible is spoken by God and should be viewed as God's handbook for us to run our lives by 2 Timothy 3:16.
