Monday December 30th & Tuesday the 31st, 2002 In two days 2003 begins. Unless there is something really wrong with my calendars, in just two days we will have the beginning of the 2,003rd year since the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus. On that day, January 1st, 2003 I am going to start a new series. It will be a series aimed at young Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian men and women. It will be a series of hope and the offer of freedom. It will not be for everyone, but only those who have the determination, courage and staying power to cut out for themselves a home where only those who are like minded Christian freemen can and will live. ...

Wednesday January 1st, 2003 Wow, 2003, happy New Year. ... Over the next three and a half years, I am going to try, through this site and through prayer, to get one hundred thousand young solid Born Again Christian men to leave their homes and move to Maine. I can almost hear the "Huh's" coming ...

Thursday January 2nd, 2003 But, why Maine? You have to be wondering why I would ever suggest Maine as a state to be the safe haven and homeland for solid Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians? Today, I am going to try and start to answer that question for you. ...

Friday January 3rd,2003 Could I be one? To create a Christian State is going to take a lot of young, solid, Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, and make no mistake about it, it will not be for everyone. But, could you be one of them? Are you one of them? will you be one of them? The things of the world need men of extreme ability to be their leaders and founders. We working for the Lord need nothing more than be men of extreme faith: ...

Monday January 6th, 2003 Blessed are them that serve the Lord. Blessed are them that serve the Lord! Can I just make that statement, or do I need support it with Scripture? As you read today's Scripture taken form Ephesians three, Think how you can best serve the Lord. For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He, who from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with His might through His Spirit in your inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; ...

Tuesday January 7th, 2003 An open letter to Trent Lott I don't know if you are a Born Again Christian or not, but this I do know. I do know, you did not lose your position as majority leader of the US Senate because of your remarks at the 100th birthday celebration of Strom Thurmond. You lost that position because those who are damned and determined could not let you remain as leader of the senate. About ten days before your supposed blunder at Senator Thurmond's party, it was reported on the Rush Limbaugh ...

Wednesday January 8th, 2003 Choose ye one this day. Well, yesterday the new US Senate and US Congress were sworn in. For the first time in over forty years, both houses of the Congress and the office of the President are in the hands of Republicans. And yesterday this new Republican controlled government made a choice. The Lord God Creator of the universe said: No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; ...

Thursday January 9th, 2003 Should a preacher give financial advice? Should a preacher give financial advice? That's a pretty good question isn't it? But let's go even further, let's make the question, Should a preacher give unsolicited financial advice? Whether I should or not is inconsequential, for I am going to. I'm going to give those of you in the stock market some advice and I'm going to give the new Governor of Maine, John E. Baldacci some advice. For both the advice is financial in nature and in both cases it is unsolicited. But in the case of the new Governor, it is probably unwanted as well. Let me start with advice for stock holders. As many of you might know, the cost of malpractice insurance...

Friday January 10th, 2003 Is God's patience wearing thin? At the close of yesterday's thought, in the closing prayer, I said: "Lord, God, Creator of all things, are not 130 million babies enough? Lord, how many more babies must be offered up to satan as blood offerings upon the alters of the abortionists before You will put a stop to it? Lord would You not consider doing to the abortionists and their supporters what they do to the babies?" Then I added at the very close: "But Lord, Your will be done, not mine, but Thine." If you were to have to list what you honestly felt, through your studying of the Word of God and His word, were the three worst sins, would they not be these three? ...

Monday January 13th, 2003 So, the sermon was too long. Oh how often I hear comments on how long the sermon was. How the pastor went on for twenty whole minutes, twenty minutes without even a break. Today, we shall take a little time to look back in the book of Acts. ... as summer approaches and you start to think about having me preach in your church, please, please don't even think about being there less than three hours. For my sermons never last less than an hour and I love the hymns to much to sing only verses one, three and five. ...

Tuesday January 14th, 2003 Give God a chance and He will prove Himself to you. It has been a while since we have really looked at the old testament. What say we go back a few thousand years to say oh, about 3,400 years ago, back to around 1400BC. Joshua Chapter One 1 Now after the death of Moses, the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying: ...

Wednesday January 15th, 2003 China attacks US babies. On October 23rd, 2003, I wrote a thought about how vulnerable we were to attack by the Chinese, through chemical means since we import so much of our clothing and our babies teddy bears from them. Today's thought shows that previous thought to be almost prophetic, almost, because it really was not prophetic at all, simply common sense. ...

Thursday January 16th, 2003, Not hypocrites, Heroes. How often I hear people refer to solid Born Again Christians and their churches as hypocrites. When I ask them why they are referring to a Christian as a hypocrite or referring to a Christian church as full of hypocrites, I usually get one of three answers. A simple, "You know.", an even simpler "Because." and most often, "They go to church on Sundays and act holier than thou but are every bit as bad as me, they talk a great game but they don't ...

Thursday January 16th, 2003 Heal thyself Have you ever noticed, that for some reason and in many cases, we cannot heal ourselves? I have seen many healing in my life, many healings that I knew came directly about because of prayer. A few years back, Pastor Warren Feustel and I went to visit his wife who was in a nursing home in the last stages of Parkinson's disease. The nursing home had called and told him that she had developed a severe case of shingles. Now for those who you who did better in science than I, you know that shingles is extremely...

Weekend of January 17th & 18th, 2002 They are not anti-war protesters, they are... On September 11th, 2001 the United States of America was attacked by those who seek to destroy us. Their hatred of us is based not upon fact, but upon garbage fed to them by their rulers so as to keep them enslaved. Iraq supported, suppled intelligence, supplied funding and training for those that attacked us. Those who protest what is about to happen are not war protesters. They are protesting our retaliation for what was started on 9-11-01. For if they were really protesting against war, they would be protesting against those who attacked us, not...

Monday January 20th, 2003 Has satan blinded so many? Scripture tells us that many are and will be blinded. They will be blinded to the truth of salvation through Christ Jesus, and to the truth of other things as well. That many will be blinded into thinking that the murder of babies in the womb is nothing more than ridding ones own body of a mass of unwanted dead tissue. Blinded to the fact that if it isn't alive, why does it have to be killed. The simplicity of understanding that it is a baby in the womb and not a mass of tissue is not lost on the Saved, but seems to defy the mind and intellect of the unsaved. Another example of how easily and completely some are blinded is ...

Tuesday January 21st, 2003 ...only he who now letteth, Who? Yesterday, I asked this question: "How do you know if satan is blinding you?" And then after making reference to certain chapters in Paul's letters to the Thessolonians, I asked: "Tell me who let's." The object of these questions was to get you to realize how easy it is for satan to blind even those who are Saved. If they don't stay glued to God and His word. Let's go look at who 'letteth' let me start by showing the Scripture...

Wednesday January 22nd, 2003 Celebrate? Celebrate? Somehow celebrate just doesn't sound like the word the Lord would use to describe today. Somehow I cannot see the Lord celebrating thirty years of the legal slaughter of what He once was, a baby trapped in the womb....

Thursday January 23nd, 2003 Back to Basics. Let's take a minute and get back to the very basics of Christianity. Back to what absolutely separates us from both the rest of the world and all religions other than true Born Again Washed in the Blood of and Purchased by the Blood of the Lamb of God, Christ Jesus, God.Who are we? and what are we? and how did we get that way? ...

Friday January 24th, 2003 If it be God's will, send a check. I never ask for money, as a matter of fact, in recent years, I have turned down money. But, this is different. About two weeks ago, I had breakfast with a dear brother who is a 74 year old pastor. At that time I told him that I had asked the Lord for 10,000 acres in East Stoneham, Maine. He didn't laugh, he didn't scorn, instead he asked me if I was prepared to be turned down. I said yes. He then asked if I was prepared to pray and be patient, I said yes. We then prayed and ...

Weekend of January 25th & 26th, 2003 188 acre Christian Family retreat Well, things are moving right along, Yesterday I saw Joyce Boos of Boos Realty in Harrison, Maine. I told her that Cec and I would pray and on Monday I would be back to make an offer. We are now prepared to make our initial offer, the offer will be: ninety six thousand dollars with nothing down and payable at four hundred dollars a month for twenty years. This works out to be $510.64 an acre. Gentlemen, yesterday I asked you for money and equipment and prayers, today I am asking...

Monday January 27th, 2003 Why read and study your Bible Today, I am going to try to get you to understand the importance of reading and studying your Bible. We are going to look at one of Paul's letters to the church at Thessalonica. As you will see, this was a pretty solid church, it was a church that Paul and others were able to point their fingers at and use as an example. The faith and dedication of the Thessalonians was evidently known far and wide. ...

Tuesday January 28th, 2003 And God said: No David! And, No Bob! First, before we get into today's thought, I want you to take time to fall on your knees and intervene for President Bush with the Lord. I don't want you to pray for stupid things that violate the word of God, things like peace, for there will be no peace and if you have not read your bible enough to know that then skip this part and go on to the daily thought that follows the prayer ...

Wednesday January 29th, 2003 And may God continue to bless America. In his closing remarks last night, President Bush said "And may God continue to bless America". Those remarks were made by one who understands that "God bless America" is both inappropriate and down right insulting to God. What the President said is a sign of his ever maturing walk with the Lord Jesus. And I for one am proud of him. He is restoring this nation to one whose interest centers on the Lord Jesus. In his remarks last night he stated flatly that families not government are the bottom line and that he wanted and expected a bill to ban partial birth abortion. So, for today's thought, I am giving you ...

Thursday January 30th, 2003 Smoking cigarettes is not the unpardonable sin! God said: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Genesis 1:29) God said this in the very first chapter of the very first book of His Bible. God did not say I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed Except tobacco. ...

Friday January 31st, 2003 The only book I study Today I am going to address all of you who call, write and email me with harsh remarks about how I take the Bible to literally. How there is nothing wrong with abortion that abortion is really pro-child and how the Bible does not teach that abortion is wrong, if you really know how to read the comments of others about it. Those of you who are preachers and tell me that I just don't get it ...

Weekend of February 1st & 2nd, 2003 No guarantees, but one. As an internet preacher, I need to work to make ends meet, the way I have chosen to make a living is through the sales of devices and equipment to allow people to have a constant and large as necessary source of electric power. Recently I have placed for sale a 22.5 HP Wisconsin V4 engine, it came off a large Kohler Generator. Regardless of whether it is new or used equipment, the most common words I hear are "Can you guarantee this will work?". I can't guarantee anything of this world, I can not guarantee ...

Tuesday February 4th, 2003 How could they not know that Jesus was the Christ? As you read the four Gospels, have you ever asked yourself how anyone in the area in which the Lord walked and preached could not have realized that He was indeed the Messiah, the Christ. Think about it, Jesus healed the lame, those possessed with demons, those who had leprosy, those who were blind, and even raised the dead. Yet, still the majority cried out to have Him crucified, denying Him and wanting instead a murderer to be released to them. So, how could it be that so many who actually saw these things happen, did not turn to the Lord but instead turned from him back to the priests and rabbis? Well, as we read Acts Chapter 13 today,...

Wednesday February 5th, 2003 If you can only do one, do this Ok, all you preachers out there, take the day off, don't read this one, it will only make you mad, upset and want to wring my neck, something I would prefer you not do. Ok, you have had fair warning, here goes: While I would prefer that each of you out there spend Sunday mornings and afternoons in church praising and worshiping God, and spend at least one hour a day reading and studying your Bible, I know that is not going to happen in a lot of your lives....

Thursday February 6th, 2003 And, to you, who is Jesus? Today we are going to look at two separate, but related points. First we are going to look at how you, as Born again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian can tell others who are Born Again. How you can separate the Lambs from the wolves. And then we are going to look at a point dealing with forgiveness of your Christian brothers and sisters, which is solidly related to the fable, "once saved always saved". First the simple way to tell if one is a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian. Look with me in Matthew ...

Friday February 7th, 2003 How dangerous is it out there? So, you ask, how dangerous is it out there? Well, let's take a look at the news and the Word of God. First the news. As of this week, the Nation is on the verge of going to Orange for the national alert status, what does that mean? It means that we are one step below red, red is called when an attack is know and imminent, going on, or has just taken place. While the leftist in the media and in politics continue to down play the threat, the threat is not only real, it is imminent. Many of the leftist remind me of that big bird that when it gets scared, ...

Weekend of February 8th & 9th, 2003 On earth it is an Orange Alert, in heaven, it may be Red Do you have friends that are "Jews"? Do you have kin that are "Jews"? Then you might wish to pay close attention to what I am about to show you. There is a lot of self Bible reading for you to do in this thought, for to understand you'll need to read Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy as a start. For you see, to know what a real Jew is, you must see what the requirements to be a real Jew are. As you well know, many who call themselves Christians are really not only not Christians, they are satan worshiping idolaters. For to be a Christian, one must be a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, one who is committed to Christ 100%....

Monday February 10th, 2003 It is not you they despise! In the Sudan, Christians are sold into slavery, bought and sold as cattle and raped and murdered with total immunity. In China Christians are enslaved, made to manufacture products, and often times simply cut up and sold as body parts to an every increasing market for kidneys, eyes, lungs, hearts and other body parts. In Egypt, Christians are routinely crucified upside down. In every muslim controlled country Christians are killed or enslaved. In Germany and France muslims are not convicted for crimes against Christians if there is any way for the authorities to not have to. In the capital of Roman Catholicism, the pope himself has literary sided with the muslims against Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. ...

Wednesday February 12th, 2003 Sometimes it takes and expert, sometimes it doesn't. There are times when you need an expert, there are other times when you can do it on your own. This morning I needed help getting connected to the internet, after trying everything I could think of, I ended up having to call my internet provider and speaking to an expert. It took Nicole about two minutes to get me up and running, it probably would have taken her less time if I had more than one phone line. How was she able to get me back on line so quickly? Simple, she is an expert, an expert on the internet. Later this morning I have to bring my ole jeep to Ovide's. Why? Because he is an expert on keeping my cars running. I preach, he fixes cars. I look under the hood and see things, in many cases I have no idea ...

Thursday February 13th, 2003 ...in the time of trouble He shall hide me... Yes, the time allotted for saddam hussein to apologize for his part in the attack of September 11th, 2001 on the United States of America is about to run out. Very soon now the leaders and people of Iraq are going to find out what the Japanese found out in 1945, it is best to leave the USA alone. But this time is will be different, this time it isn't going to end with the destruction of Iraq, it won't even end with the annihilation of North Korea, this time the enemy is within our own borders. This time it is not only on foreign shores we will be forced to fight, but within our own country as well. Traitors and haters of freedom, liberty, justice and Christ abound within our town and city halls, as in our state and federal political establishments. Unlike World War One, but very much like Korea and Viet Nam, the enemy is also well entrenched ...

Friday February 14th, 2003 Keep them doggies rollin rawhide... So, how many of you remember the televison show Rawhide? Do you remember how when they had a cattle drive they had to keep the cows headed in the right direction? Well, evangelizing is much the same, you have to stay on track, you can't be diverted into conversations that lead into arguments and have nothing to do with Salvation. Look here: ...

Weekend of February 15th & 16th, 2003 Thursday February 20th, 2003 How about if we all set aside a little time this coming Thursday evening? What if we just take an hour on Thursday evening and with a few, Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, friends, and family members go to the Lord in prayer. Asking in His name, for His help, guidance and protection for President Bush, his administration and our brave young men and women as they rid the world of saddam hussein. Let us go to the Lord thanking Him for removing clinton, his ilk and minions from power and replacing him with one who starts the day not with pornography and underage girls, but on his knees in prayer. Let us go to the Lord in prayer thanking Him for giving us the ability and the power to remove one of the world's greatest threats, a man who sponsors with financial aid, weapons, intelligence and areas for training, those who attacked our Embassies, tried to sink the USS Cole, and on September 11th 2001 murdered over 3,000 men women and children in the USA. Let us go to the Lord in prayer asking Him ...

Monday February 17th, 2003 Why are there no signs condemning saddam? So, let me ask you, if they are really protesting war, why are the only signs of protest aimed at the US and Britain? Where are the signs that say "Come clean saddam?' or "disarm now saddam"? You don't see those signs because those who are protesting are not protesting a war or anything like it they are simply using what is about to happen in Iraq as a way to vent their hatred for the US and everything good, honest, fair and just that we stand for. It is not war they despise and hate, it is US. 1,950 years ago, the Apostle Paul ran into the same thing. Paul ran into a group that while they claimed they were looking for and seeking the truth, were like today's so called peace activists, for as today's so called peace activists use wars as nothing more than an excuse to vent their ...

Wednesday February 19th, 2003 Watch the news carefully, you may be watching prophecy unfold. In the last days, there will be no United Nations, there will be regional coalitions and gangs of governments, but there will be no United Nations. Today in Daniel chapter seven we will see the most important of the regional government organizations, the one that is lead by the anti-Christ. Now, stay with me as we look at Daniel Chapter Seven ...

Thursday February 20th, 2003 You are about to help finish what Saul left undone. What I am about to say, I say to each of you not as a unit, not as a company, not as a battalion or even a regiment, but each of you individually. I want you to know that what you are to do and in fact have been doing, is not only following the orders of your chain of command, but fulfilling an order given by God some 3,000 plus years ago. ...

Monday February 24th, 2003 No Greater Compliment. Over the last few months, the leftists in the press, the so called progressives in both houses of the congress and others who hate and despise everything about the USA, both within our nation and abroad, have paid President George Bush the greatest of compliments. Unlike the previous two presidents one of which they knew they could bully and the other a president so easily distracted by women other than his wife and his political problems, this president, President George Bush #43, they have to take seriously. And this President they are...

Tuesday February 24th, 2003 Oh ye men of war, harken unto the words of the Lord thy God. As most of you are now well aware, the war in Iraq has started and is in full swing and on schedule. Today we are going to look at what God tells our fighting men. It is most important that we understand that the words of God are directed to those who are His, not the heathen who has dedicated his life to ...

Wednesday February 26th, 2003 How do we live by the word of God? For man to live, it takes a few things, all of which God has supplied. We need air, God gives it to us and the governments haven't even figured a way to tax it, YET. We need water, and God has given that to us as well, and if we drill our own well, we can get it without to much government interference. We need gravity, light, darkness and things to eat, and like air and water, God has supplied those things to us a as well. But, you know those things are all things of the flesh...

Thursday February 27th, 2003 Let us join in prayer on behalf of and for the US liberators. As I read World Net Daily this morning, I came across this article. Now it is seldom that I take things dealing with Christ and His church seriously from World Net Daily. But, as you read this article, I would ask you to give serious and prayerful thought to joining in...

Friday February 28th, 2003 3:33AM, not 3:33PM Yesterday, we covered the various prayer things going on, on March 3rd, 2003. In a news article from WorldNetDaily.com we saw that it will be not only be Born Again Christians that will be praying on that day, but witches, new agers, muslims and liberal so called Christians as well. The part of the article that dealt with our praying, we the Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, referenced Jeremiah 33:3. Let's look at it. Not as some would look at it, by just reading the one verse, but let's look at it in the context of which it was written: ...

Weekend of March 1st & 2nd, 2003 Giving thanks always... Over the last few days the thoughts have been a bit long. For the weekend, let's do one a bit shorter. We have been praying for our troops, their salvation, the President and his ever strengthening walk with the Lord. Let us start by looking at three verses of Scripture and then two pictures with a verse under each....

Monday March 3rd, 2003 But, what do the evolutionists believe? As I am sitting here, doing this morning's thought, I can look out my widow at our bird feeder and see five or six Gold Finches on it and another six or seven on the snow below eating away. As you may know, a Gold Finch is about 5 inches long and weighs in at a whopping ounce or so. Last night the temperature here reached down to minus ten, in the last couple of weeks we have seen it down under minus twenty degrees Fahrenheit. Maine often reaches down to minus forty-five....

Tuesday March 4th, 2003 An open letter to those who oppose US Military action. Today, I am going to ask you to send a letter to at least one member of government that opposes US military action in Iraq, Korea, Syria, Iran and or Egypt. This is the one I am sending, feel free to use it or a derivative if you would like.Dear member of the Maine State legislature who opposes military action by the USA in Iraq,I unlike many of my fellow citizens of the USA, do really believe that you do not want to see the US military go into Iraq and forcibly disarm it's military and eliminate the Hussein regime, by killing or capturing his family, political and military leadership. Therefore, I am suggesting to you, that if you really want to avoid seeing the US Military go into Iraq and forcibly disarm it's military and eliminate the Hussein regime, by killing or capturing his family and political and military leadership. That you immediately contact your friend saddam hussein...

Wednesday March 5th, 2003 But, what is God's will? Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord", shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me, in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?" And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23) Jesus tells us that on the day of judgement, that many will kneel before Him bragging about what they have done in His name. They will, while on bended knees, while groveling at His feet,...

Thursday March 6th, 2003 An open letter to the men and women in our Military: Today, young men and women, I am going to give you some very good reasons to become Born Again Christians. The first and absolutely best reason is because when God came to earth 2,000 years ago, He said: "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." That means: If you are not a Born Again Christian when you die, you're toast! There aint no purgatory, there is heaven with God and eternal damnation in the lake of fire with satan. For some, that first reason will be enough for others, it won't. So, here are some other good reasons to become a Born Again Christian. ...

Friday March 7th, 2003 Can a whore ever be respectable again? Once upon a time there was a beautiful young virgin, her dad had died and she fterwards was cared for and raised by a series of uncles, some of these uncles were better than others, but for the most part, all loved her. Than one day she had an uncle that just didn't care enough about her to lift even one finger to prevent her being stolen by an uncle who, by profession was a whoremonger, a pimp. This uncle who now had her, the pimp, caused her to be degraded by forcing her to horrible things,...

Weekend of March 8th & 9th, 2003 Picture this if you would. I would like you to take a moment and think about this. Let's say that you are sitting in your chair at work, suddenly, there is a member of the local police bomb squad standing beside you. As you look up and start to rise from your chair, he says, "No, don't get up, we have a problem." He goes on to say "We received a call that a bomb was placed directly under your chair. It is set to go off at the first change in weight. It appears that when you sat down, you armed it, and if you get up, it will detonate." So, you stop trying to raise and instead sink back...

Monday March 10th & 9th, 2003 Two questions and an answer and a half. First question: We all know what prejudice is, but is it an act of prejudice when the ones who are the victims not only don't do anything to stop it, but are both part and parcel to it and even reward those who are responsible it. Second question: Is it a lie when God takes no action against it and even rewards the liar? Question number one: The two countries that have the most elective abortions are China and India. In both of those countries, 90% of these elective abortions are sex selective. In other words, 90% of the elective, not ones forced by the government, but ones in which the mother takes her baby trapped in her womb to an abortionist, and has the abortionist kill her baby, are done to little baby girls. Think about it, 90% of the elective abortions in China and India are done to little baby girls. Now the majority of shopping done here in the USA is done by women. ...

Tuesday March 11th & 9th, 2003 Today's news was written before the foundations of the earth were laid. Today I e-mailed Mac, my senior proof reader and asked him what he thought about my starting a series on end times prophecies and how it relates to today's world and news. For unless he is willing to commit the tremendous hours needed to proof such and undertaking, I doubt I would take it on. The next question is to you, if Mac is willing to put in the three to four hours a day to proof the thoughts on prophecy and today, and I am lead by the Sprit to write them, are you willing to read...

Wednesday March 12th & 9th, 2003 George, what are you waiting for? George, what are you waiting for?, a rhetorical question if ever there was one. I am not amazed, nor surprised at how many people are telling us and the President that his waiting is going to do this, his waiting is going to do that, his waiting has cost him a golden opportunity, and the 'you are waiting' statements go on and on and on. Now from the heathen I can understand the questions, but from the Christian, I have to ask myself...

Friday March 12th & 14th, 2003 Apprehension Apprehension, not the biggest word in the English language, that's for sure, but a word that carries a lot of weight, especially now. How many of you, as you get up in the morning turn on the radio to see if we have finally started our retaliation against and liberation of Iraq? But, just think, if you and I are apprehensive, think of what it must be like for civilians who will be...

Weekend of March 15th and 16th, 2003 Midnight, Eastern Standard Time. Well, as I sit here at my computer, it is now 9AM EST, and in 15 hours my current ISP should turn off my internet connection. Unless they are tardy, which would be nice but unexpected, I can not possibly be back on line till mid day Monday. The new software for the new ISP is coming by mail, I won't get my mail till sometime in the early afternoon on Monday, so, this weekend's thought will...

Wednesday, March 19th, 2003 Beat their swords into plowshares? As we approach the time when either Saddam, his family, his military and his government leave or die. We more and more we hear liberal preachers, politicians and just plain folk with no Biblical knowledge tell us that instead of war, we should be "beating our swords into plowshares". They tell us that they are quoting the Word of God, when they will say things like: "The Good book says; STRONG>'they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.'" ...

Thursday, March 20th, 2003 Children, Please , saith the Lord, Make up your mind. How many of you, as parents, when you have wanted to do something nice for your kids, have said "Please, make up your mind." as you waited for them to choose a flavor, a place to go, or a toy? How many times have you tried to do something nice for one of your kids and had them say, "gee dad it's nice, but......."...

Friday, March 21st, 2003 The war, may be all but over. On the first night of the war, March 19th, 2003, the President authorized the use of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles and F-117 Stealth Fighter aircraft with 2,000 pound bunker buster bombs to hit a target in downtown Bagdad. As it turns out, that target happened to be an underground bunker where Saddam Hussein, his two sons and many of his high command were meeting. It now appears that Saddam was injured and at least one of his sons, the youngest, was killed along with more of his command staff....

Weekend of March 22nd & 23rd, 2003 What a difference ten years and one CIC makes. Just about ten years ago, on April 19th, 1993, president William Jefferson Blyth Clinton, used the United States Army to murder 76 men women and children at a religious settlement outside of Waco, Texas. As commander in chief of the US Military, former president Clinton dishonored our Military by bringing them down to his debauched level. Under the command of president Clinton, our Military was a part of a group that attacked and killed 76 men, women and children, they attacked with tanks, helicopters, and orders to take no prisoners. Those who tried to make it out of the inferno where shot dead by snipers of both the...

Monday, March 24th, 2003 Do you remember Adolph Hitler? In 1933, a former paper hanger and corporal in the German army, took over Germany. His party was called the NAZI's. Like Saddam Hussein, Hitler also worshiped satan and had designs to be a world conquer and master of the world. By the early part of 1938 it became obvious to just about everyone that Hitler was not to be trusted. He had already started the systematic destruction and elimination of Germany's jews and Born Again Christians. Another thing that happened in 1938, was the beginning of a plot by certain high ranking officers in the German Military to kill...

Tuesday, March 25th, 2003 The life is in the blood Like most of you, I too have seen the graphic pictures of this war to liberate and bring freedom to the people of Iraq. I have seen the pictures of dead members of the US Military and the forces fighting with us. Men who shed their blood giving the ultimate sacrifice to free the people of Iraq. But likewise I have also seen the pictures of hundreds upon hundreds of dead Iraqi troops who died to prevent the people of Iraq from being free. Men who died to protect and continue the evil and butcherous...

Thursday, March 27th, 2003 lovers and lawyers. Rush Limbaugh said something very profound the other day, he said "Regardless of which cable news network you watch, you'll get the impression that we are not winning the war." He's right, as you watch the televison coverage of the war, you can't help but feel that the media is more concerned with getting out the point of view of the Iraqi's, the seditionist war criminals here and around the world who are disrupting life in our cities...

Friday, March 28th, 2003 Some are smokey Christians, others are smoker Christians and still others singed Christians. As I read the news this morning, I came across a story telling how the city of Waco, Texas now allows the infamous planned parenthood organization to run one of their public libraries. Two things came to mind. First I thought to myself, why am I surprised? is this not the same Waco, Texas that stood by and watched the offering up to satan, as burnt offering, close to 90 men, women and children at Mount Carmel just ten years ago? The second thing I thought was: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrew 9:27) ...

Weekend of March 29th & 30th, 2003 We all make choices. Yes, we all make choices, we choose to belong to Christ Jesus or satan. We choose to do right or wrong, to be pro-Life or pro-abortion, to be faithful to our wives and families or be adulterers. And we choose who to listen to and believe concerning the war on terrorism, the President and his or Peter Jennings and his. People have been making choices for a long time. Adam and Eve chose to disregard the Lord and harken unto the words of satan. Since then, men have historically chosen to follow the leaders of evil over...

Monday March 31st, 2003 Natural friends and natural enemies. Sometimes, we get a bit confused on just who our friends are and who our enemies are. You may have noticed how the nightly news and the so called major media continually refer to France, Germany and Russia as our friends and allies. They at the same time ignore Bulgaria, Australia and Israel. You do not have to be a mental giant to know that France, Germany and Russia are not our friends and allies, but can only be classified as enemies. For would a friend supply your enemies,...

Tuesday April 1st, 2003 How easily they lie. Have you ever noticed how easy it is for some to lie? This despicable behavior seems most prevalent amongst politicians from the lowest to amongst the highest and most elite. Another group that lying seems to not only be considered acceptable, but even desirable is amongst those legends in their own minds, the so called main stream media. Does the media lie? Kind of a stupid question isn't it? We all know that the Peter Arnett's the Peter Jennings, the Portland Press Herald, New York Times, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and so many others have made a career of putting political agenda ahead of the truth. But, with the media we have options, ...

Wednesday April 2nd, 2003 Special Forces, Shock and Awe. Today is the beginning of day 14 of the liberation of Iraq and the elimination of the threat of terrorism to the US and her allies. Not the allies proclaimed by Peter Jennings and his gang, not the allies claimed by the emasculated, insignificant, US Republic haters of the UN, but our true allies, the ones fighting with us; The Brits, the Aussies, the Israelis, and the various unorganized state militias of the border states. As we watch this war that is systematically eliminating fascist freedom haters throughout the world, we come to understand the true role of the US "Special Forces". But, who are they? Who are the men that make up the special operations units...

Thursday April 3rd, 2003 A day to give thanks unto the Lord our God, Christ Jesus. As we enter the beginning of the third week of the war to liberate the people of Iraq, freeing them and the rest of the world of one of the most sadistic of the terrorist supporting regimes, what better time to turn to the Lord in prayer? As we in the USA, look at see enemies on both of our landed borders, our borders seperating us from Canada on the north and Mexico on the south, what better time to turn to the Lord in prayer? As we see through the lies and hypocrisy of former ...

Weekend of April 5th and 6th, 2003 The honest and the dishonest, the sighted and the blind. ...while 1,960 years may have passed, things really have not changed. As there were then men and women who heard the word of God, rejoiced, repented and were Saved, so there are today. And as there were back then men who would counterfeit God's word, so today we see the same things. And as there were back then men in office not willing to fight either for or against Christ, so do we this very day have men in women in public offices at all levels who do the same....

Monday April 7th, 2003 Will we have the sense to give the credit and praise to God? Well, as of this morning, our troops have the run of down town Baghdad. We, so far, thank God, have had a very successful war in the removal of Saddam Hussein, his minions and his ilk. The pundits in the press along with their minions and ilk in the left wing politics of the USA and Britain have been proven wrong at every turn. And while there are still a few die hard Hussein supporters out protesting against the forces of the US Military and the President of the United States, you have to wonder what they are protesting. Their side and their leader, Saddam Hussein have lost. The Hussein regime is all but dead, and those few who are still around are very bad insurance risk, very...

Tuesday April 8th, 2003 The tongue. In the book of James, we learn that the tongue is a nasty little bit of body part, capable of telling some real whoppers. This was brought to my attention this morning as I listened to one of the pundits of the morning 'news', a legend in her own mind as she groveled at the feet of and interviewed, one more of the totally out of the loop leftist. As you must by now know, last night, the USA Air Force, using and orbiting B-52, dropped four 2,000 pound bombs...

Wednesday April 9th, 2003 Baghdad has fallen US Marines and Army units have secured Baghdad. Thank you Lord. Let us take a moment to thank God for the victory He has given us, let us thank the brave men and women who delivered it and let us thank the President for letting the military fight to win. Thank You Jesus!...

Friday April 11th, 2003 An answered prayer. In the beginning of the year, I mentioned changing the state of Maine by making it into a Born Again Christian state though the election process. Below are links to four thoughts to refresh your memories, then follows a serious prayer request, one I would like you to take very seriously, for I believe this is the beginning of God's answer to my prayers for Maine's conversion to Christ. In two days 2003 begins. Monday December 30th, 2002In two days...

Weekend of April 12th & 13th, 2003 Maybe 130, maybe 150. We are not sure how many men and women died in the war to repay the Saddam regime and free the Iraqi people, but the number was no where near the 8,000 or 9,000 plus prophesied by the press, their pundits and those who opposed the US and British actions. But, there are some things we do know. We know that nowhere in history is there an account of a modern nation overthrowing a horrible, sadistic, fascist, communist regime like Saddam's in twenty one days. We know beyond any doubt that ...

Monday April 14th. 2003 Know anything about horses? Today we are going to look at a few verses from Luke Chapter nineteen. And when Jesus had thus spoken, He went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. And it came to pass, when He was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples, saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, 'Why do ye loose him?' thus shall ye say unto him, 'Because the Lord hath need of him.'...

Tuesday April 15th. 2003 Now, we have rescued two muslim countries. Praise God, the people of Afghanistan are free of the Taliban. And likewise praise God for the people of Iraq are now free of Saddam Hussein. President George Bush and our Military have done a great job in freeing the muslims of Afghanistan and Iraq from the horrors of the dictators that ruled them with an iron rod. Once we decided to move, it took but 21 days from the time the first bombs dropped till the time that Baghdad fell. Imagine that, 21 days. Less time than it takes to frame a new house, less time than it takes to get a response from a member of congress or the governor in Maine. 21 days from the first bomb to the...

Wednesday April 16th. 2003 Blind, corrupt or just plain stupid, you decided. After having fasted for forty days and forty nights, Messiah Yeshua left the desert and was immediately accosted by satan. Instantly satan challenged the Lord, saying: "If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread." And Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Unwilling to accept defeat, satan then took the Lord to the top of a mountain and in an instants time...

Thursday April 17th. 2003 Raise your children to fear God! About twice a year I like to do a thought for moms. And today is the day, so men, go away. Ok, moms, go get a cup of tea, a cup of coffee of whatever, get comfortable and let's discuss moms and their most important role. When asked why she was so involved in a career and had spent so little time with her daughter, Hillary Clinton said: "What was I supposed to do, stay home and make cookies?" While Clinton's snide and sarcastic answer brought cheers from the group of national organization of women who she had directed her answer to, it brought a sad, yet honest response from moms who fear God. For to those moms who fear God, the answer to Clinton's response which was really a question answering a question, "What was I suppose to do, stay home and bake cookies?" is YES! For a mom, there is no more important role...

Friday April 18th, thru Sunday April 27th, 2003 Let's us reflect on the past. I'm am going to be gone for the next ten days or so, Cec and I are on our way south to see our little six month old granddaughter roll around on the floor and give her a chance to throw up on our shoulders. So, for the next ten days, there will be no thoughts put up. But, that may just be a great time to go back and look at some of the precious thoughts. For young Christian men looking for a challenge and a fight...

Tuesday April 29th, 2003 How is it that we still kill babies? It took but 21 days to end the murderous regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, yet, it is now over thirty years and the slaughter of the baby in the womb continues unabated in the good ole US of A. How is it that we can find the moral compass to end the brutal dictatorship of Saddam Hussein yet when it comes to baby in the womb, we simply say "ho hum", and go our merry way? In Judges chapter nineteen, we see what happens when men turn their backs on those who can not defend themselves,...

Wednesday April 30th, 2003 Some accuse President Bush of being anti-Christ. With more and more frequency I get e-mails telling me that George Bush is the anti-Christ. I would guess that some of you get these bits of ignorance as well. Always challenge them, always challenge their sources. And if their source is anything other than the Word of God, the Holy Bible, tell them that they are anti-Christ. Now, while I have never heard President Bush proclaim that he is a Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian nor have I ever heard him publicly say that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the only Living God, one with the Father and the ...

Thursday May 1st, 2003 That's your interpretation!!!!!!! Sometimes people say things that are a bit off the truth, other times the things said are outright and blatant lies and in other instances things that are said are simply spoken in ignorance, laziness and fear. A good example of "a bit off the truth" would be the example Rush Limbaugh used yesterday on his show concerning remarks made by Congressman Dick Gephardt. Seems Congressman Gephardt claimed a conversation with his father about his father's union membership and supposed benefits. That supposed conversation was just about a total fabrication. But,...

Friday May 2nd, 2003 Don't underestimate your enemy. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8) I have said repeatedly that the IRS is prohibited from investigating and auditing abortionists and abortion mills. ...

Weekend of May 3rd and 4th, 2003 Please pray for this ministry. Many of you have been visiting this site on a regular basis for three and four years, others have only recently discovered it. Today I am asking each of you who can honestly say: "I am a born again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian!" to spend some serious time this weekend praying for me and this ministry....

Monday May 5th, 2003 It is must, not can. Why is it so difficult for so many to be honest and tell people that they can not be Christians if they are not Born Again? Jesus said: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Not, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man consider being born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God....

Tuesday May 6th, 2003 Over the next three days. Over the next three days, God willing, we are going to look at three things dealing with today. We are going to take a look at some of the problems encountered in the schools and how those problems are exasperated , in the opinion of a senior DARE officer, by the lack of parental involvement. We are going to take a look at Mary Magdalene and put to rest the absolute nonsense that she was a prostitute. And today we are going to take a look at the strange murder(s) and suicide(s) surrounding a church in New Sweden, Maine. Over the last couple of weeks there has been a tragic murder...

Wednesday May 7th, 2003 Mary Magdalene, a chaste, virgin, the hand maid of the Lord! Today we are going to look at what the word of God, the Holy Bible has to say about the woman whom God choose to first show Himself to on Easter Sunday 33AD. And in doing so, we will show to be a lie the absolute lying nonsense spurted from the mouths of the haters of Christ as they continue to claim that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. Why do I refer to them as haters of Christ? Because if they loved the Lord they would study His word, the Holy Bible and know better. First let's take a little look at why so many that refuse to study God's Word spew this filth about Mary Magdalene. The simple and most accurate answer is that they refuse to study God's word, the...

Friday May 9th, 2003 We have our hands full. This past Monday evening, Cecily and I went to a D.A.R.E. presentation, what we heard reminded me of NASA under the Clinton administration. Do you remember back a few years ago, NASA launched a space vehicle to investigate Mars, Venus or some place or other and the thing clashed. Well, it turned out the crash was the direct result of two different groups, that while working on the same project, one used our US system of measurements while the other used the European metric method. Result, crash! Christians and the secular society are doing much the same when it comes to this lost generation. What we heard at the D.A.R.E. presentation was much the same, only much more graphic, as what...

Weekend of May 10th & 11th, 2003 I and My Father are One. It never ceases to amaze me how many people answer with: "Oh, I don't believe that Jesus would allow anyone to go to hell, I believe in Jesus as the God of love...", when ever I quote Jesus in John 3 verses 1-3, 14-18...

Monday May 12th, 2003 Can a Christian use deadly force? Too often, we seem to forget that it is the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, not the Father or the Son or the Holy Ghost. We seem to forget that it is not just Jesus, the God of the New Testament, but Jesus the God of the Old Testament as well. We forget that When God said "Let us make man in Our image" it was God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost that made up the Us. And since we today seem to only want to think of Jesus,...

Tuesday May 13th, 2003 Just because you can say "Jesus is the Christ" does not mean you are saved. There are many who seem to think that just because they can say "Jesus is the Christ." that, that in itself means that they are saved. Not so! They think that just because they claim to be saved, that they are saved. Not so! In James chapter two we read this: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19) But how do we know that James is correct? We know he is correct because if he were not correct, that verse would not appear in God's book, the holy Bible. We also know it because Jesus Himself...

Wednesday May 14th, 2003 Not one dot, not one period, not one comma, nothing! Each and every day it would seem, the Word of God and His word get more and more twisted by the cultists in Roman Catholicism and the liberal so called Christian churches and denominations. Jesus knew this was going to happen and He warned us of it. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:18&19) ...

Thursday May 15th, 2003 Two things. Today, I am going to touch on two topics. The first is the most important the second is a prayer request for me and a decision I'll have to make within the next few days. God tell us in His book, the Holy Bible, that He created the heavens and the earth and all things in them and on them in six days. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:1&31) The evolutionists tell us that God did not create the world, ...

Weekend of Friday May 16th thru Sunday May 18th, 2003 Is it arrogance, insolence or just plain stupidity? Yesterday I went and had my annual physical, and as always, the doctor checked my prostrate, and as always I asked myself and him, "how in the world can anyone enjoy this?" How can homosexuals claim that anything like a prostrate exam can be fun and desirable? How can anyone be so dense as to think that having something done to you, that is reminiscent of having a prostrate exam, could be acceptable in the eyes of normal everyday human beings? Is it that they,...

Monday May 19th, 2003 Will China attack the USA with nuclear missiles ? And as Jesus sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Matthew 24:3 Over the last couple of weeks it has been reported that the Communist Chinese stole US nuclear secrets in the eighties, allowing them to manufacture small, multiple warhead nuclear missiles. This in itself was bad news. But added to this bit of treachery on the part of the Chinese came the news...

Wednesday May 21st, 2003 Aint nothing worse than a reformed drunk. Ever heard the ole saying: "Aint nothing worse than a reformed drunk." Or this one: "Aint nothing worse than a reformed smoker."? Ask anyone who drinks and has a friend who use to be a drunk, and he'll tell you that there is "nothing worse than a reformed drunk." Smokers will tell you the same thing about the three packs a day guy that quit smoking. Why? Why are reformed drunks and smokers considered such a scourge to those who still get drunk and or smoke three packs a day? Is it because the reformed drunk...

Friday May 23rd, 2003 Be happy with who you are. Have you ever looked at a person in office and said to yourself: "what a buffoon, I could do a better job than him or her."? Sure you have, we all have. It is hard to not look at some in office today, and not wonder to yourself if they have anything between their ears or if they in fact are not the missing links of the fable of evolution. I too have wondered, many a time, as I listen to various judges and office holders. For I can not help but wonder if they even listen to themselves. For some of the things that pass between their lips is not only pure nonsense, but utter foolishness as... Then George Bush was introduced and the room took on a hush. I could tell they were all waiting for George to let bygones be bygones, swallow the crap he has been getting from them all year and mock himself for their enjoyment. But, with Helen Thomas, hair all done up and looking spiffy right there on the dais as though she held some kind of special place in the scheme of things, George showed them all what class really looks like. ...

Weekend of Saturday May 24th & Sunday May 25th, 2003 Men, keep your son under your thumb! Enough of the boys will be boys garbage, I heard it till it is coming out of my ears. And as for this garbage about working 90 hours a week and leaving the raising of your sons to your wives under the horse droppings of "I only do it so that you and the kids can have a better life," Spare me, I have already planted my garden and need no more horse or any other kind of manure. Men, your sons need you, they need to be right under your thumb. They need to learn how to be men. Not the modern atheistic Christ denying, evolution embracing men of the left wing liberal sex is nothing more than a handshake crowd, but men of God....

Monday May 26th, 2003 Memorial Day, 2003 Today is the day we celebrate Memorial Day. Today we take time to ponder and honor those who fought and died for our freedoms. While we show our thanks to those who fought and died for our freedoms, let us ponder just what freedom means to us and what freedoms we would fight for and yes, die defending or restoring. ...

Tuesday May 27th, 2003 Lost, 53,000 men and 2 Article of the Bill of Rights. Over a three day period in July of 1863, the United States of America lost over 53,000 men. Lost in the mourning of these men, over 25,000 wearing blue and some 28,000 men wearing grey, was the death of Articles Nine and Ten of the Bill of Rights. The place was Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the dates, July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. During those days, Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, commanding the forces of Maine, earned the only battlefield promotion to General of the war. He went on to be the holder of two stars by wars end and went on to be one of Maine's few distinguished, honest and honorable men to every hold the office of Governors. In Maine we have seen not one governor in the last sixty years with even one of General Chamberlain's characteristics. Now while plenty can and has been written about how the actions of those three days resulted in the...

Wednesday May 28th, 2003 30 acres and shrinking. Today, I will be making an offer on what I think is the smallest parcel of land we could use as a Christian primitive camp ground. This land is in Albany, Maine, has been heavily cut over, with slash, that is the left overs from cutting, all over the place and will require a minimum of two years of work to get it ready for us and campers. But, I am making an offer just the same. ...

Thursday May 29th, 2003 Tired of hearing about abortion? Tough! As the Lord Jesus hung on the cross 1,970 years ago, the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, (Matthew 7:52). One of the men who arose that day 1,970 years ago had a huge smile on his face. While they all smiled for they were on their way to be with the Lord in His paradise, one had a bigger smile, his name: ...

Weekend of May 31st and June 1st, 2003 The saddest thing I do. Without a doubt, the saddest thing I do is go to funerals of those who are unsaved. Yesterday we, my wife and I, got the sad news that a fifty year old Roman Catholic man had died suddenly and unexpectedly. Tomorrow, we will go to the wake, unlike wakes for solid Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, Roman Catholic wakes, like all other cults, are sad. They are most sad for those of us who are Saved, for we know the truth. We know that as Idol worshipers, the Roman Catholic is not a servant of the Lord Jesus, but a bond slave to the...

Monday June 2nd, 2003 Road map to peace? Or destruction? First, let me make something very clear, I have not seen President Bush's road map for peace. I have read a couple of stories about it, but I am not sure that any of those who have written about it have seen it either. What I do know is that it seems to have been accepted by both the Jews and the Palestinians. And that concerns me, for I do not believe there can be peace in the Middle East till the end of the Tribulation period and then only for one thousand years. Then peace comes for ever for those who are Christ's. ...

Tuesday June 3rd, 2003 Why I have stopped listening to Michael Savage. Today I am going to tell you why I no longer listen to the Michael Savage show. And I am going to strongly urge you to tune him out as well. First let me say this, I enjoyed Michael's take on and commentary on politics, it is his insistence that he put his own liberal spin on God's word that has gotten under my skin. Every time I hear him claiming to defend our Christian beliefs here in the US of A, he twists and misuses the Bible. The final straw was a few days ago when he used, as a source, a left wing liberal woman episcopalian priest to justify his claim...

Thursday June 5th, 2003 Congressman Mike Michaud, a man of courage. It has been over one hundred and thirty years since Maine has had a politician whose word you could trust. It has been over 130 years since Major General Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain walked the halls of Maine politics and it has been that long since we have had a man whose honesty, integrity and courage emulated Governor Chamberlain. Look at today's crop of Maine politicians, we have as governor one John E. Baldacci, a man who cries, complains and accuses ...

Friday June 6th, 2003 And you are faithful to? Yesterday we touched on Matthew chapter seven, today I would like to take a little closer look at Matthew chapter seven. Let's start with a question. Do you blindly follow a political ideology or party? Would you refuse to vote for a pro-life democrat over a pro-abortion republican simply because the pro-life candidate was a democrat? What if the pro-life candidate were an independent or better still a write in candidate? On yesterday's Rush Limbaugh show, Rush said that the tide had turned in public opinion, that 52 percent of the American people thought life began at conception. And that they thought that life...

Weekend of June 7th and 8th, 2003 Is it really just politics as usual? If you are a regular attendee of ChristianPatriot.com, you are also, more than likely, politically astute. You would be hard pressed to be a regular attendee of ACP and not know and understand politics. Over the years, there have been some decent and honorable women in politics, but for the most part women involved in politics have been the dredges of society. This weekend we are going to take a glimpse back in history, not politically correct history, but history according to the Lord God Creator of all things, History as recorded in the Holy Bible. We are not going to look at the Helen...

Monday June 9th, 2003 We need one like Elijah the Tishbite. As I see more and more legislation passed, giving the US Attorney General and the hundreds of federal police agencies more and more power to 'defend us' from the muslim hordes, I can not help but think that we will not always have an honorable man in the office of AG. We will not always have a John Ashcroft as chief cop of the federal police agencies. No, one day we will once again have an administration of Ahab and Jezebel and they will once again appoint a Janet Reno as overseer of the federal police. And then, we who believe in Christ and have given our lives to Him will wish to God that we had a Elijah the Tishbite to hold the federal police at bay. It has been a decade...

Tuesday June 10th, 2003 Pray for Molly, her mom, Steve and Janice, Mac, Dan and... With less than a week before I leave for six weeks, time is short and needs are plentiful. So, let's start with the things that need to be first, prayers for those in need. Julia and Molly as they uproot and maybe move to Maine. Steve and Janice as they start the next thirty one years as living examples of Christian marriage. Mac as he and a team of doctors try to figure out what's wrong and how to fix it. Dan, Theresa and the girls as they move 2,000 plus miles. Warren as he heads into his 55th year of pastoring, Rick...

Thursday June 12th, 2003 Try to get this through your thick heads Concerning the US and Israel:

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:1-3) We can either support Israel and be blessed as a nation or we can curse Israel and be cursed as a nation. It appears that President Bush, like all of his predecessors since 1940 has chosen to have us cursed. ...

Friday June 13th, thru Friday August 1st, 2003 How do I/we know I/we are in love? Many a teen is faced with that question. In today's promiscuous, easy going, everything goes society teens are not taught to wait for marriage, they are told, "it is ok, if you love someone". It isn't, pre-marital sex is wrong, it is just as wrong as adultery is. While neither are wrong in the eyes of the secular world, both are absolutely wrong in the eyes of God. Making love should be reserved for those who are married and then only with each other, one man and one woman, a husband and a wife, a dad and a mom. So girls, how do you know you are in love? How do you know the guy loves you? How do you know you want to spend the rest of your life married to this man? ...

Wednesday August 6th, 2003 Different, but not so different. Over the last few days there has been two different, but not so different stories making the news. First we have the Episcopalian church trying desperately to promote an ordained priest to bishop. This priest is well known to be a practicing homosexual. And second we have one of the nation's premiere pornographers, Larry Flynt, holding a national day of prayer, asking his god to kill Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilley. In the first case we have the Episcopalian church claiming to have scriptural support and acceptance for,...

Thursday August 7th, 2003 Are you part of God's remnant? As you look around you, you can not help but know that the world is going to hell. That people are choosing the wide, broad, well paved, smooth road to damnation at an ever increasing clip and in immense proportions to those of us who have chosen to serve the Lord Jesus, the Christ, by following His winding uphill, rugged at times, path. In his letter to the Romans, the Apostle Paul talks about a remnant, a remnant who are saved. Let us start in Romans Chapter...

Friday August 8th, 2003 Why Isaiah? Have you ever wondered why the author of the Holy Bible, God, included certain things in the only book He has ever allowed mankind to publish in His name? Have you ever wondered why God, in a book as short as the Holy Word of God, the Holy Book of the Scriptures, the Bible, included sixty six chapters of Isaiah? Do you think that perhaps God put certain things in His Book just to fill up space? That He had a little extra room so He...

Monday August 11th, 2003 But, do not tempt the Lord your God! I used to think that for one to question his salvation meant that he was so humble that it was proof of salvation, now I know I was wrong. To be unsure as to whether or not you are saved is a pretty good sign that you're not. For one to be Saved and not see any signs in their life indicating salvation is practically impossible. Also, for one to be Saved and not doing the work of the Lord is a...

Tuesday August 12th, 2003 Why do we make men wait? Why is it that we make men and women wait so long to be baptized? Have you ever noticed how long it takes to get a new Christian baptized? It shouldn't be like that, once a man or a woman is Born Again, they should immediately be...

Wednesday August 13th, 2003 Could anyone else be trusted? In the first epistle of the Apostle John, we read this about Jesus in verse nine: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Is there anyone else, anyone in heaven or earth that you would believe that of? Think about it for a moment, think about those words, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."...

Thursday August 14th, 2003 Being humble is hard, very hard. One of the biggest problems, I as a Born Again Christian faces, is trying to be humble. Or should I say, trying to remember to be humble. As a lower member of the middle class of the most powerful nation on earth, it is sometimes difficult to be humble. To be humble when I compare myself to those in public office is almost impossible. To be humble when I talk to members of the medical community, men and women with tons of college and fancy letters after their names, yet many of them don't even know it is a baby they are murdering when they perform, or condone by their silence, abortions. But, as a Christian, I must obey ...

Friday August 15th, 2003 An interview with Jude, the half brother of Jesus. Ladies and Gentlemen, today, I will let you eavesdrop so to speak on an interview between myself as the interviewer and the Lord's half brother Jude as the interviewed. Now without further ado, let me start. Me: First, my dear brother in the Lord, would you be so kind as to introduce yourself? Jude: I am Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother ...

Monday August 18th, 2003 Men's Commitment. Commitment, kind of a long word isn't it. Commitment, have you ever really given it much thought? Husbands, how's your commitment to your wife? Married and single Christian men, how is your commitment to the Lord? Let me ask again, Christian men, how is your commitment to the Lord? Back around 950 BC, the Lord caused to be written in His book, If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; (Proverb 4:11)

Tuesday August 19th, 2003 Interviewing the Lord God Creator of all things. Me: Lord, In the first eleven verses of the Gospel of the Apostle John, John, referring to You as Word, says that You and the Father are one, In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him (Jesus); and without Him was not any thing made that was made....

Wednesday August 20th, 2003 Are we civilized? On last night's news, we heard about the attack on the UN Iraq headquarters' building. In that attack many were killed and hundreds wounded. President Bush in his remarks condemning the attack, said something to the effect that what those who attacked the UN building were doing was attacking civilization. He was, to a degree, saying that we and the UN are civilized and those who blew up the UN building and have been attacking us in Iraq and here at home are uncivilized. I don't have a problem with his calling those who are responsible for the attacks against us and our troops uncivilized, but I do have a problem with his referring to us as civilized. I'm not at all sure...

Thursday August 21st, 2003 A house divided, a government divided... As we read today's Scripture, we will see a warning from the Lord. A warning to families, to governments and to peoples. A warning that if you, as a family, as a nation or even as a people allow yourselves to be divided, you will most certainly fall. Satan learns from Scripture just as you and I should. First he attacked peoples, causing people of the same race to attack one another, to turn on one another. Then he went after the nations of the...

Friday August 22nd, 2003 Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me. In Matthew chapter twenty five Jesus says: "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me."

I want you to take a minute and read an article that appeared in yesterday's Advertiser Democrat. It was written by the paper's editor, Susan Arena....

Monday August 25th, 2003 Love Me more than these? Who or what comes first in your life? Jesus or your wife? Jesus or your kids? Jesus or your parents? Is anything more important in your life than the Lord our God, Christ Jesus? So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter...

Tuesday August 26th, 2003 Do no harm In 1948 the Nuremberg trials were fresh in the public memory. These had demonstrated that some doctors had decided that certain human beings were of less value than others because of race, religion, handicap, age, infirmity etc., hence it was not unethical to experiment on and to kill them. The World Medical Association, to which the BMA was affiliated, aimed to ensure that doctors would never again be diverted from their proper function; ...

Wednesday August 27th, 2003 Sheep and goats. In the Bible, we often read about two different animals, sheep and goats. Both are compared to and used in reference to people. Jesus says in Matthew chapter twenty five that on the day of judgement He will separate the sheep from the goats. When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats....

Thursday August 28th, 2003 Words best spoken in private, behind closed and locked doors. What you are about to read is now considered, by the courts of the USA, to be worse than pornography. What you are about to read, if you are a Supreme Court Justice in one of the 50 states and put the below up in public view, will get you suspended and in all probability prosecuted. While it is all right to have pornography in the schools of this nation, it is illegal to have what you are about to read below in a public school in the United States of America. While young men and women in the high schools of this nation can openly read such trash as Cosmopolitan Magazine, Red Book, Wrestling...

Friday August 29th, 2003 ...your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of... Do you ever really think about how what the Lord has said affects your everyday personal life? Look with me at a bit of Scripture in Luke the twelfth chapter: And Jesus said unto His disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment....

Monday September 1st. 2003 Labor Day 2003 Well, today is Labor day, and as I sit here pondering the word labor, I can't help but think that there is labor and there is labor. There is labor that is important, such as the labor of bringing souls to the Knowledge of Christ, and there is labor such as the labor of Thomas Jefferson's corruption and abomination of corrupting the Holy Word of God in his blasphemous Jefferson Bible. There is labor that is so important that life cannot exist without it and there is labor that life would be better without. Today, we are going to look at Scripture that discusses labor that is second only to the labor of preaching the gospel of Christ's salvation. ...

Tuesday September 2nd. 2003 Jesus said, "The time cometh..." Oft times we hear preachers, including myself, tell you that the Lord could rapture His church at any time, that life is not indefinite, that one day you will die. And that because we know not when the Lord will rapture His church or when you are going to die, you should not hesitate, but seek the Lord immediately. Why are we so concerned? What is it that drives us to fear for the salvation of so many? Why do we preach and preach and preach? Scripture, that's why,...

Wednesday September 3rd. 2003 We each must decide. Each of us, from the most influential legend in his or her one mind to the bum living under a bridge in the poorest most corrupt city in the poorest state in the country, must make a choice. And while we each make choices each day that come down to choices between life and death, the choice we all must make is the choice of eternal life with the Lord or eternal suffering with satan. It's not a new choice, it is a choice that has been around as long as man. Adam and Eve chose...

Thursday September 4th. 2003 Rev. Paul Hill Concerning Paul, I understand why he did what he did, I wish I knew he was right.
The Lord Jesus be with Paul and may He understand and forgive him, ...

Friday September 5th. 2003 Thank God for God's word. There are times when it is best to just read Scripture. There are times when no commentary is worth anything. What we need is just time to read and spend time with the words of the Lord. For Jesus once told us:...

Monday September 8th. 2003 Why is it so hard to just help? A letter to the Editor of the Advertiser Democrat in Norway, Maine Why is it that when one of us is in trouble, so many of us want to pile on and take our best shot at adding insult, hurt and embarrassment to the one who is down? 21 years ago I remember a young boy, he was 18, his parents were ...

Tuesday September 9th. 2003 A land flowing with milk and honey. Have you ever given the description the Lord gave to the land that He gave to His people Israel, a land flowing with milk and honey, any real thought? On it's face, the description "a land flowing with milk and honey;" doesn't sound all that impressive, or does it? Milk comes from cows, goats and sheep. Honey comes from bees. But for cows, sheep and goats to produce milk, they have to have plenty of fresh ...

Wednesday September 10th. 2003 Life can be tough at times. Yes, life can be tough at times. Just ask anyone, ask the president and I'm sure he'll tell you that some in congress and the senate make his life tough. Ask the bum on the street and he'll tell you that men and women in blue with guns on their hips make life tough for them. Yes, regardless of your station in life, life can indeed be tough. But, it doesn't have to be. Life does not have to be tough, rough or anything else of a negative nature. It is only rough on those who insist ...

Thursday September 11th. 2003 There are warning and there are warnings. As we enter the day which marks the second anniversary of the infamous and cowardly attack by certain muslim left wing extremists on our country, it is hard and foolish not to focus on warnings. The national so called major media is, even today, still trying to find a way to claim that we were warned, but ignored the warnings. And I would have to think that their claim, like much of their "news" is not only biased, but sorely lacking in credible proof and totally devoid of...

Friday September 12th. 2003 Yesterday, a day to look back and remember, today is a day to look forward. Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of the horrific attack on the US on September 11th, 2001. Yesterday was a good day to look back and think about what happened that day and what has happened in the two years since. Over the last two years, we have invaded and conquered Afghanistan and Iraq. Over the last two years we have seen no more attacks on our soil, but a few vicious and senseless attacks on freedom in other parts of the world. That was yesterday. Today, let us look forward,...

Monday September 15th, 2003 Let's look at a woman preacher in the Bible. My guess is that most of you never realized that there is a woman preacher in the Bible, one that went around preaching that "These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation." She followed Paul, Timothy, Luke and others around proclaiming that they were men of God, and that they could show and explain to people how to get Saved. Let's look at Acts chapter sixteen and see this woman, who she is, and what God thought of her being a preacher. ...

Tuesday September 16th, 2003 David. Have you ever wondered about King David? I mean, think about David for a minute, while he was absolutely one of God's favored, he did some things that have to make you wonder. So, why is it that God so loves David? Let's look at David. David had Uriah the Hittite killed so that he could cover up his adulterous relationship with Uriah's wife Bathsheba. He took Michal away from ...

Wednesday September 17th, 2003 Salvation 101 In John chapter 3, verse 3, Jesus said to Nicodemus: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." In Acts chapter 16, verse 30, the jailer said to Paul, Timothy and Silas: "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So, what is it that one must do to be Saved? How does one receive ...

Thursday September 18th, 2003 The LORD preserveth all them that love Him: but... As I sit here writing Thursday's thought, I have to think about a phone call I got a while ago. This phone call came from my sister's husband in Massachusetts. He called to tell me an elderly aunt, my Aunt Kay, had died. Kay was in her middle 80's. She had been in a nursing home for the last few years and I had driven down there on occasion to visit her. Kay, like most of my family, spent her life as a Roman Catholic. On each of my visits I had presented her with the plan of salvation and on one of my first ...

Friday September 19th, 2003 Peter, our best example of backsliding Every once I a while we run across a backsliding Christian. Some backslide a little, some a lot, some even go so far as to deny Jesus by saying things like "The New Testament doesn't mean anything to me." I ran across one such young man today. I listened as he told me that the New Testament no longer meant anything to him. Almost two thousand years ago there was another backsliding young Christian. He too denied the Lord, not once, not twice, but three times. And all three times in a matter of three or four hours. His name? Peter. Let's start with Peter first...

Monday September 22nd, 2003 How strong is your faith? How strong is your faith in the Lord? How strong is your faith in God the Father? God the Son? God the Holy Ghost? Kind of a strange question to ask, isn't it? But asking it I am. I am asking you because I want you to take a few minutes and think about what you would do if you were faced with this scene. You are grabbed by a bunch of left wing extremists, they kneel you down, put a power drill to your hand and start drilling. After a few seconds they stop the drill and say "denounce your Christ or we start again." What would you do? Think about the pain, think about the suffering, the disfiguring and then answer the question. The idea of dying slowly and painfully doesn't make the answer ...

Tuesday September 23rd, 2003 Two years later............. Two years ago it was the first day of fall 2001. It was 12 days after the attack on the USA by left wing muslim extremists. The US Congress was still closed and members of both the House and Senate were still in hiding. Men and women working in the Postal Service were having nightmares and taking antibiotics. The media was scared to death and it showed in their every broadcast or issue printed. People went to church on Sundays, spent time with their families and contributed to the Red Cross and other charitable agencies. Planes were back in the air, but the Military was still flying protective missions and we were on the verge of starting the pay back process. And if I had asked you then if you thought we would be attacked again within the next two years, you would have said...

Wednesday September 24th, 2003 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Do you ever get the feeling that you are tempted beyond your ability to withstand? If so, you are in good company. Many feel the same way. Many, if not most, Christians will at one time or another feel as if they are being tempted to sin beyond their ability to withstand. How come? And, what can you do about it? You can do two things to put off temptation. First you can pray: Jesus, in teaching us to pray, included in ...

Thursday September 25th, 2003 Mel Gibson, Peter Jennings, the Jews, the Muslims and the rest of the blind. I guess it was a night or two ago, but Peter Jennings decided, for reasons best left to himself, to explain to the world the problems that Mel Gibson was having putting out his new movie about Jesus. Jennings' report focused on how the Jews were upset because this movie put out by Mel Gibson insinuates that the Jews were responsible for the Lord's crucifixion. If this report were not so sad, it would be funny. Here we had Mel Gibson, a traditionalist Roman Catholic, trying to explain to the Jews through Peter Jennings how he was being true to the Gospels. Jennings, of course, called upon 'experts' none of which I might add ...

Friday September 26th, 2003 Please don't hurt him It's fall in Maine and the woods are full of animals preparing for winter. They are stocking up and fattening up for what they know to be a cold hard upcoming six months. The animals getting fat include bears, wolves, coyotes, and cougars. In 1993 Mr. Richard Moore of Allentown, Pennsylvania shot a 608 pound black bear in Patten, Maine. Just two days ago a 500 pounder was taken with a bow in Bethel, Maine. So wandering around in the woods of Maine can get interesting to say the least. Once upon a time there was a man walking through the woods of Maine. He was being quiet because he was praying as he walked. As he came around a corner he could see the back side of a huge black bear standing upright with hair bristling. Looking past the bear he could see a young mother and her toddler thirty or forty feet beyond the bear and obviously the object of the bear's...

Monday September 29th, 2003 What would you have done? You know, judging from the way they treated the Lord Jesus back in 33AD, I would think that people were just as mean to one another back then as they are today. And, as we all know, people can be mean to one another. It is not at all uncommon to see people nickname a person based solely upon a fault with that person. A man with buck teeth might be called "Bucky." A girl wearing glasses might be called "Four Eyes." Someone rather large might be called "Moose" or "Bear" or any one of a dozen much less flattering and more obscene ...

Tuesday September 30th, 2003 Who loves most? Jesus once asked a question. The question was addressed to a Pharisee by the name of Simon. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, "say on". And Jesus said: There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, "I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most". And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. Those of us who are forgiven the most are oftentimes the ones who are the most grateful to the Lord for the Salvation of their souls through what He did...

Wednesday October 1st, 2003 This mornings news, good and bad. As I looked through the internet news this morning, I saw reason to hope and reason to cry. I see that the conference committee of the House and Senate are about to convene to resolve the differences in their partial birth abortion bans. They, it appears will remove the pro-abortion language in the Senate version and adopt the language used by the much more pro-life House version. We are assured that this should be done within the next couple of weeks and be on the Presidents desk for signature before the end of this month. That certainly is good news and worthy of hope and Praise to God. Then there is the, "If it were not so dumb, it would be funny", news...

Thursday October 2nd, 2003 But not me. British rock stars go in and out of the White house lecturing and degrading the President and our country. Foreign dignitaries and UN freedom haters are regular guest of the President as are members of the extreme left wing such as Ted Kennedy, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins. Yet, what I get from the White House is an automatic response that in essence says: "thank you for E-Mailing the President, your E-Mail has been ignored and deleted without even a passing glance from anyone." But, if the President were to ever read my words, seek my council or ask my opinion, this is what I would tell him. I would say:...

Monday October 6th, 2003 The cost of salvation. Have you ever sat down and thought about what your salvation really cost? Not cost the Lord, but, cost you. I have been reading one of Jonathan Edwards' sermons from back in 1740 or thereabouts. In this particular sermon, entitled "The Manner In Which The Salvation Of the Soul Is To Be Sought," the Rev. Mr. Edwards compares us to Noah. He brings out so very interesting points, all of which I fully concur with. Let us start by reading from...

Tuesday October 7th, 2003 But, once the door closes. We are going to continue along looking at the flood, Noah and the ark through the sermon of the Puritan Reverend Mr. Jonathan Edwards. Today we are going to look at Genesis chapter seven. As you read Genesis chapter seven, keep in mind that the door to the ark was open for 120 years. The ark was open throughout all of the 120 years that Noah and his crews were in the process of building and supplying it....

Wednesday October 8th, 2003 How high a price for salvation? Over the last two days, the thoughts have been quite long. I promise to make this one a little shorter. Two days ago I mentioned the financial cost to Noah in building the ark, today I would like you to think about the personal cost he paid. And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he...

Thursday October 9th, 2003 James 2:14, the work of the Saved. Over the last few days, through the example of Noah and the sermon of the Reverend Mr. Jonathan Edwards of 1740, we have looked at and studied how those who are Saved must work for the Lord. In ChristianPatriot.com/10_06_2003.htm , ChristianPatriot.com/10_07_2003.htm , and ChristianPatriot.com/10_08_2003.htm , we saw that there is a huge fallacy in the thinking that all are going to heaven, or that to be saved all one must do is be baptized. We saw that while no man can work his way into Salvation, no one is going to be Saved that does not, after being Saved prove it by doing good works. Today, I will submit Biblical proof of that. And we will then look at what is meant by works....

Friday October 10th, 2003 Kobe Bryant Kobe Bryant, the world famous basketball star has been charged with rape, and the trial has started. Now I don't know if he is guilty of rape or not, but this I do know, he is guilty of committing adultery. And his parents are guilty of being more interested in seeing him practice his basketball than studying his Bible. God the Father said:...

Wednesday October 15th, 2003 Will you take a minute to pray? Lord, if Thy servant has found favor in Thy sight, would Thou please hear Thy servants prayer? I do not come to Thee seeking wealth or fame, I do not come to Thee seeking gold or riches, cars or trucks, even health or physical repair. But Lord salvation, salvation for those whom I have come to love over the years, but who for one reason or another have not heard Your call and are therefore serving evil instead of You. Lord I would ask Thee that Thou would but think and Your will,...

Thursday October 16th, 2003 Death Watch As you read this today, there is a serious death watch going on throughout the world. Throughout the world, men and women of the Roman Catholic religion wait, watch and listen as their pope goes through his death throes and approaches the time of truth. For as this pope, who has served as supreme leader of the Roman Catholic religion for twenty five years, now approaches the moment of his last breath he also approaches the moment in which he will stand before the Lord God of Creation and answer the question "Why should I let you into ...

Friday October 17th, 2003 Be sober, be vigilant The Apostle Peter warns us in First Peter chapter five verse eight to: "Be sober, and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" You know, when you look at the book of Job, you can see how serious we should take this warning, for in it we see: ...

Monday October 20th, 2003 Terri needs your help. There is a young woman by the name of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Terri lives in a hospital in Florida, Terris's doctors have been ordered to kill her. Her doctors have been ordered by the Florida courts to 'fut' Terri. Exodus chapter twenty verse 13: Thou shalt not kill. (The Hebrew word 'fut' to break or dash in pieces, to kill or slay in an unjust manner, cold blooded unjust murder of the defenseless, never used in the killing of animals.) The closest thing we in the USA do to the meaning of the Hebrew word 'fut' is abortion and euthanasia. ...

Tuesday October 21st, 2003 A no brainer that got me thinking. Well, it won't be long till it is Tuesday November 4th, 2003, the day we go and vote. Now, while this is what is commonly called an off election year, this is a year where Maine's ballot is loaded with stuff, most of which has to deal with no brainer issues. We have a tax issue to vote on, 1a, 1b, or 1c. Now, 1a is sponsored and supported by local politicians, town managers, boards of selectmen, the guys and gals that we vent our rage on. 1b is...

Wednesday October 22nd, 2003 Washed in the blood, but whose? Today's thought is not for the weak Christian, the liberal Christian or the Christian on milk toast. Today's thought is for solid born again washed in the BLOOD of the Lamb Christians. If you're not sure of what that means, this would be a good time to go surf the web. If you are not strong enough in your faith to read Scripture and understand that God wrote the Bible and God said exactly what He wanted said in His book, the Holy Bible, this would be a good time for you to go read one of the Left Behind series. If you are one of those that tries to read the word of God by reading between the lines, this would be a good time for you to go listen to...

Friday October 24th, 2003 and your old men shall dream dreams Sometimes I wonder if we have reached this time: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (Acts 2:16&17) ...

Monday October 27th, 2003 Make a list, check it, prioritize it and As a Christian, it is good to sit down occasionally and make a list. Not a list to share, just a list for you, a list that only you and God need know about. God already knows your list, but you may not. The list I'm talking about is the list of what is important in your life. A list starting with what is the most important thing in your life down to the things that means the least in your life. This is not a short assignment, for the list you are going to want to make is not the true list. tTe true list is one you will have to truly search your heart to make. After you have made that list, you need to go to work on it, you need to work on it to make it...

Tuesday October 28th, 2003 Deceit, deceived. I would like you to think about something for a moment. There are around 325 million people in the USA. If the Lord were to rapture His church right this minute, how many of those 325 million do you think would be raptured? My guess, and don't let this influence your guess, would be in the neighborhood of a million, maybe less. When you think back in US history to the 1600's, a time when the majority of the people were either of Pilgrim or Puritan stock, a time when close to...

Wednesday October 29th, 2003 Had only someone cared enough. Had only someone cared enough to drill Solomon's Proverbs into Kobe Bryant and Bill Clinton's head. My son, keep your father's command, And do not forsake the law of your mother. Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck....

Friday October 31st, 2003 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. What better day than helloween to discuss the cult of Roman Catholicism? Jesus, in Matthew 15 verse 9 says: "But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Yesterday I went to a funeral, a funeral in a Roman Catholic church. Oh how I wish they were right, how I wish there was even one little bit of Scripture to support their idolatry, *purgatory, and pope worship. As I looked around I saw about a hundred people, over half of which I knew personally,...

Monday November 3rd, 2003 Do not read between the lines. How often we as Christians either read between the lines or read something that is not in the text into the text. Let's try not to do that today. Today let's just read what Jesus said. Let's just take the words of the Lord literally. As you read, judge yourself. Judge yourself as the Lord will judge you. Don't be to easy on yourself, nor be to hard on yourself, but judge yourself honestly and fairly. Don't be like the courts who only use the information they want to use, use all the information you have about yourself. For unlike the courts who are corrupt, the Lord will judge you with righteous judgement, knowing all things you ever did and why you did them....

Tuesday November 4th, 2003 Redemption through His blood... Let us look at a hard cold fact. You are either Christ's through being washed in His voluntary shed blood or you are satan's through the involuntary shed blood of human sacrifices. One way or the other, you have been purchased with blood, either the Lord's unto redemption and salvation or satan's unto eternal damnation. There is no half way point, there is no purgatory, there is no grey, only white or black, eternal salvation with the Lord in the glory of paradise or eternal damnation and torment in the lake of fire....

Thursday November 6th, 2003 Praise God the ban on partial birth abortion is now law. Well as of yesterday, the ban we have fought so hard for, the ban on partial birth infanticide is now in the form of a law. A law against performing the horrific practice of turning a baby in the womb, delivering that baby 98% and then killing that baby. But already many are resting on their laurels while the pro-abortion crowd has already found two federal judges, one in Nebraska and one in New York who have said the ban is unconstitutional and issued injunctions against its implementation. My brothers and sisters, it is time to pray. We need to pray, for the baby in the womb is faced with some very powerful foes, the foes who togther make up what I am coming to think is the beast, government. Let me see if I can explain...

Friday November 7th, 2003 Neither it or the pain are new. Over the last few weeks, I have discussed the horrors of adultery on two or three occasions, this I think will be the last of that series for a while. We have looked at how a once great basketball star, Kobe Bryant, has all but destroyed his reputation and career by turning his back on his marriage vows and committing adultery with a woman, who it is starting to appear, has less than a stellar reputation. We have looked at how a man who served as President of these United States for eight years, Bill Clinton, is most remembered not for welfare reform, not for his attack on Iraq in 1998, not for his sweeping tax increases, not for his twice veto of partial birth abortion, not anything political that he did in office, not even the massacre of 90 plus Branch Dravidians...

Monday November 10th, 2003 We are now entering our seventh year. We have now finished our sixth year of American Christian Patriot, first for one year as a newspaper and then one year as both a newspaper and on the net, then these last four years exclusively on the net. Over these last six years, ACP has grown, but the theology has not changed one iota. My knowledge of the Bible has become a little better but the basic theology has always been to use the Bible as literally as possible, to preach in the shadows of the Puritans. As I mature I pray my thoughts and preaching mature as well, not become more socially acceptable, just more mature in the eyes of He whom I serve, He whom I not only work for, but have given my life to as well, the Lord Jesus...

Tuesday November 11th, 2003 Why does God want you to pray? Let me ask you a question, Why is it that God wants you to pray? After all, when God walked the earth as a man named Jesus, He told us: "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him." So, since God already knows what we need, why do we have to go to Him in prayer? Why doesn't He just give us the stuff we want and need and be done with it? After all,...

Wednesday November 12th, 2003 What is sin? Yesterday we looked at the question "why does God want you to pray?". Today, let's look at a word, and let us not follow in the footsteps of former US President, William Jefferson Blithe Clinton, let us not say "It all depends on the meaning of is..." Let us instead search our hearts, our souls, and our knowledge of the word of God. So, what is Sin?...

Friday November 14th, 2003 A Michelangelo I am not but, still I am going to try and paint a picture for you. Not one on canvas, but one for your mind. Try to imagine, if you would, a large room, a very large room, say one that is five football fields long, three football fields wide, and one football field high. There are three doors in the room, one that everyone being tried walks through. Yes being tried, for the room is a court room. But not just any court room, this is the last court, it is a court with no appeal. It is a court with no prosecuting attorney and no defense attorneys. Each defendant stands on his own to be judged. That door is at the very east end of the room, close to the North East corner of the room. There are two other doors, both of them are exits, one is a rather small unimposing door, kind of a sickly grey in color, but upon closer examination it is quite apparent that it is a door of considerable...

Monday November 17th, 2003 The worst of all persecution. We all know that as the end of the end times approaches, all of the prophecy leading up to the rapture of the church must be and will be fulfilled. Prophecy tells us that one of the last things to be done is that the Jews will return to Israel and that Israel will be again a nation. That has happened. Every last thing that must be done has been done, including the persecution of the church everywhere on earth, including right here in the good ole US of A. Now before you say, "What persecution of Christians in the USA,." let...

Tuesday November 18th, 2003 "Take your preaching someplace else." Ever heard anyone say "Don't be so pushy" or "Take your preaching some where else" or "That's ok for you, but leave me alone"? Sure, we who take the Lord seriously when He said "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15) hear something like that more often than we care to remember. But those who say it today are not the first and they certainly will not be the last. Let's look back at one time when God addressed this very same problem. You see, Samuel was having a bad day, he felt rejected. And God explained something to Samuel that we...

Wednesday November 19th, 2003 Thank God for God. As Thanksgiving approaches, we more and more often concentrate on the wonderful things the Lord has given us and we take time to thank Him. We thank Him for our families, We thank him for the food He has so generously supplied us, our homes, jobs and the nation we live in. We thank God for the sacrifice He has given us thru His Son. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)

Monday November 24th, 2003 But the worst things is:

"MOSUL, Iraq - Iraqi teenagers dragged the bloody bodies of two American soldiers from a wrecked vehicle and pummeled them with concrete blocks Sunday, ... About a dozen swarming teenagers dragged the soldiers' bodies out of the wreckage and beat them with concrete blocks, the witnesses said. 'They lifted a block and hit them with it on the face,' Younis Mahmoud, 19, said. ... Television video showed the soldiers' bodies splayed on the ground as U.S. troops secured the area. One victim's foot appeared to have been severed." From: Yahoo news MARIAM FAM, Associated Press Writer

Tuesday November 25th, 2003 Render unto Caesar... Let us say that you went to the lumber yard and bought a 8 foot 1X12 piece of clear pine board. A 12 foot piece of wood with no knots or other imperfections in it. You took that piece of wood home, sanded it smooth on all four sides and then cut it into pieces suitable to make a rocking chair for your son, daughter or grandchild. After cutting out the pieces, you glue and screw them together, and then apply a coat of his or her favorite colored stain or paint. Once finished you hang it out to dry. Then after 24 hours you take it down and admire the work of your hands. Now, let me ask you this. Assuming you did it in your...

Wednesday November 26th, 2003 All that God loves, satan hates. There is nothing that God the creator loves, that satan the god of hated does not despise. The family is a perfect example. Throughout the Bible God refers to the family as a dad, a mom, kids, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and others through the extended family. For, in God's eyes the family is built upon a dad, a mom and their children. In this family, God has instructed that dads and moms should be both the primary care givers and the primary teachers. Over the years we have seen the 'it' of Revelation sixteen,...

Monday December 1st, 2003 Can a Christian man be an adulteress? You are not seeing a mistake, the question is good, is valid and it stands. Can a Christian man be an adulteress? "But Pastor" you say, "an adulteress is a woman, a man committing adultery is an adulterer." True, but, it is not only possible, it is absolutely guaranteed that every Christian man, and I am talking about Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian men, is, on occasion, an adulteress....

Tuesday December 2nd, 2003 My, how I want to go home. Well, here I am in Maine, winter is starting, it is getting cold and I'm in the midst of building an enclosed porch on the front of the house. By the way, the front is the north side of the house. Brrrrrr. Being the north side also means it gets the sun last and for the shortest period of time. Oh there was a time when I could knock out a 10'X8' enclosed porch in a day and a half all by myself, but those days are long gone. These days, it takes me close to a day just to cut out the lumber. Took me a day to do the deck, but thank God that part is done, now over the next few days, I'll put up the walls and the roof. Forty years ago when I was twenty, it took ...

Wednesday December 3rd, 2003 The rise of anti-Semitism in the US and world wide. Today we are going to start a series, a series which will in all probability answer some, if not all of the questions as to why anti-Semitism is on such a rise worldwide. It was about 4,400 years ago, about 2,000 years after the fall of Adam and Eve, that God said to Abram: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3) ...

Thursday December 4th, 2003 Who is Paul talking to and... Paul, the final Apostle chosen by our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus, is often taken out of context. His instructions misread and misunderstood. Today, we are going to try and make the former Pharisee turned Apostle more understandable. At the same time help you understand who the Apostle is talking to and who he is telling you to treat in such and such a manner. Ready? Ok, let's do it. Let's first understand who Paul is talking to: First Corinthians opens like this: ...

Monday December 8th, 2003 Spare the rod, give them Ridilin. There are two ways of dealing with a difficult child, the one is the way God the Creator tells us to use, the other is the way those who oppose God the Creator insist we use. First, I must tell you that every last thing that Prozac and Ridilin are prescribed for is a behavior problem and not a disease. Now let us see how God the Creator of the Universe and all things tells us, as parents, how to deal with children who have a behavior problem....

Wednesday December 10th, 2003 Liberals today as before. Liberals, even back in the time of Isaiah they were a people of ill repute, morally corrupt if not bankrupt, a people out to destroy the basic fiber of humanity with their hatred of the Lord and all that was and is good. A people to be avoided if at all possible. A people God referred to as liberals.

As you may have noticed, I was missing yesterday and earlier today, and I have an excuse, maybe not a good one, but ...

Monday December 15th, 2003 London Times Dec. 1250 "US Captures Saddam" As we approach the time of the year in which we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus, let us look at who He is: And what better to way to do that than to look at some of the questions God has asked us concerning Himself: But first I want you to look at this verse from Isaiah 40: The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, "Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." ...

Tuesday December 16th, 2003 Roman Catholicism has sent more good men to hell than any enemy the US has ever had! Christ has many enemies, none even comes close to the cult of Roman Catholicism! The Lord God creator of the earth, the heavens and all things in and on them has no enemy greater and more vicious in it's deceitful hatred of the Him than the cult of Roman Catholicism. The Word of God teaches us: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment! (Hebrews 9:27)...

Wednesday December 17th, 2003 Whose birthday is it anyhow? In just days we will be celebrating CHRISTmas. And I am sure you are asking those you love what they would like for gifts on CHRISTmas. I know you are hoping that you will get exactly what you want on CHRISTmas. But, you know, it isn't your birthday we are celebrating, it is Christ Jesus' whose birth we celebrate on December 25th. So, have you given any thought to what you'll give the Lord on His birthday? I am sure you have spent much time pondering what would be the perfect gift for your wife and your kids, but have you given any thought to what you'll give the King of kings, the Lord of lords...

Monday December 22nd, 2003 How the Jews could end anti-Semitism. One of the most heinous blights upon the earth today is the blight of anti-Semitism. The hatred of the Jews just for being Jews. And yet, the end to anti-Semitism for those who deny Yeshua as Messiah is not all that hard. As a matter of fact it is really quite easy. Anti-Semitism is not brought to the Jews because of those who hate the Jews, it is brought to the Jews because the Jews ignore God. I would challenge anyone reading this or any of the preceding or following thoughts in this series dealing with anti-Semitism to show me Scripture to the contrary....

Tuesday December 23rd, 2003 God loves the black sheep Over the years I have come to realize that the fundamental Christian churches are full of family black sheep. The more liberal churches seem to have less family black sheep and more just plain mostly good folk. I often wondered about that, I wondered why the guy who never did anything wrong, wrong in the eyes of secular society I mean, most often chooses a liberal main stream denomination church to attend, while his brother, who was always in trouble attends a full gospel fundamental church. So, when in doubt, why not just go to the Author of mankind and ask Him? Me: "Lord, how come the fundamental churches are full of black sheep?" Jesus: "Let me answer your question by ...

Wednesday December 24th, 2003 The day before CHRISTmas, what a time to read Isaiah 50. What a wonderful time of the year, a time so wonderful and happy that satan, through his minions in the press, the body politic and the liberal university systems, work overtime trying to darken it and He whose birth we celebrate. Satan and his minions hate CHRISTmas almost as much as we, who have given our lives to the Lord, hate his high holiday Helloween. Satan and his little worker minions have worked hard and relentlessly to undermine and bring to non importance the Birth of Christ on His Birthday. And they have done a good job. Last Sunday my wife and I drove down to Lynn, Massachusetts....

Friday December 26th, 2003 Six days till 2004. Well, in less than a week it will be New Year's, January 1st, 2004. Way back in the late 40's, that is the 1940's, my teacher said, "Write down 2000 and then under it write down the year you were born and subtract." I remember thinking that I would never live to be that old, but here we are approaching the year 2004 and I'm still here. As we enter this year of 2004, I don't know whether to say "Thank You Lord for giving me another year here on earth to serve You." or, "Lord, I'm tired. My feet hurt, my eye sight and hearing are failing. I'm overweight, due for another one of those...

Monday December 29th, 2003 If only more Christians were as firm for Christ Yesterday, my wife and I drove down to Kennebunk, Maine. We drove down to pick up a used pullout couch we had bought sight unseen for fifty bucks. When we got there, the couch was sitting in the garage and the man selling it gone, but his wife was there as were some healthy young teenage boys willing and able to lift this monster into my truck. Praise GOD!!! So, after looking this couch up and down, sitting on it and asking the usual mind dead questions that we ask about used things that we have no idea of what to ask about, I said "Not bad, will you take...

Wednesday December 31st, 2003 And so ends 2003. Well, in less than 14 hours we will be in the year of our Lord 2004. As we go into this new year, why don't we make a resolution between ourselves and God that we will try to be better Christians? Making that resolution and keeping it will not be all that hard. Let's take baby steps. Let's start by committing to the Lord that we will be more careful of what we read. Or, if you are one who is prone to watching a lot of tv, to use the mute button more often, avoiding shows that out and out glorify homosexuality and/or idolatry. How about you wives resolving to think before speaking in anger. And you husbands reminding yourself that your wife is not only your rib, but the...
