Honor God Deuteronomy 18:20-22 Keyword: Mormon
Well, here it is the year 2010, or some would say twenty ten. Regardless of how you want to refer to the year, let us all resolve to honor God this year. Let us all resolve to become more familiar and intimate with Him and His word. One way to honor God is to realize that all have fallen short, all need salvation, and none are going to get into heaven who are notBorn Again washed clean in the Blood of the Lamb Jesus, Christians, none. I don’t care how clean cut a person is, I don’t care how nice a person is, it does not matter that a person does not drink, smoke, cuss, wear sexy provocative clothing, etc. If that person is not Born Again, that person is going to spend eternity separated from God in the lake of fire.

As a Christian man, it is your responsibility to see that your family is fed. Yet, God tells us in Amos 8:11-13 that there is a famine coming. So what should you do? Well, in Genesis chapter forty one, we see what Joseph did when God told him through the dreams and mouth of Pharaoh. Joseph stockpiled food, food enough to fed the Egyptians and those from surrounding countries of seven years.

Tuesday, January 5^th, 2010 What if I told you I am running for President?
Now let me say this first. If God decides I should be president of these United States, there is nothing anyone can do to prevent it. If He decides I am not to be president of these United States there is nothing I can do to even get my wife to vote for me. All of that said, and giving God all of the credit, win or lose, I am now a candidate for President of these United States. And here is my campaign. I know that the most important job the President has is that of Commander in Chief of the US military. I know that the oath he takes states that he will defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. And I know this, as president, if the news media can film a terrorist organization, I can carpet bomb them out of existence. I know that I do not consider water boarding torture and that I will not hesitate to do whatever needs to be done to eliminate those who attack the USA and to get information. I know our borders need to be protected and that no one can do that better than the US Military with the simple order of “Close the borders to any and all who have no right to be here!”

Yesterday we looked at Romans chapter 13 in a new light. Now let us continue along by taking a closer look at verses 1-4. 1 Let every soul be subject unto (hupotasso subordinate to) the higher powers (exousia, mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence:--authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.). For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. No one gets to be king, president, governor, or even a member of the board of selectman without God allowing it. Those that God has anointed we are to be subject to. Remember David when he had the chance to kill Saul?

Well Gentlemen, it is now twenty-two years. The first issue of The American Christian Patriot came out in print January of 1997. Before that, starting in 1987 was Article Ten, a print paper. For some twenty-two years now I have been preaching and writing about how our Constitution and our government were set up for a country whose bedrock was not to have a law or rule that offended either the King James version of the Holy Word of God or the US Constitution. 1987 to 2009, it has been a while. And in that time, I have met many of you, I have spoken over the phone to many more of you and corresponded with even more by letter and e-mail. I guess after 22 years I can honestly say, I know many of you pretty well.

For the past 150 years, the US has been playing a political and financial game of Russian roulette. Now we have run out of empty chambers. We have landed on a loaded chamber and it is deadly. We folks, are on the verge of absolute national destruction. Within a very short number of years, under ten, everything will belong to the government and we will be but one more communist socialist nation. First let us look at what our Lord, our God, The Christ, Jesus has to say about nations that are as divided as we are, for make no mistake, we are a nation that is bitterly divided. We have a deadly division on: life for the baby in the womb vs abortion, marriage of one naturally born man to one naturally born woman verses the abomination of homosexuality, and the division of those who embrace our capitalistic way of business verses communism.

Some things are as plain as the nose on your face, but given half an opportunity, some know it all will take it and make it complicated. Let me give you two perfect examples. In Maine our Constitution states: "To keep and bear arms. Every citizen has a right to keep and bear arms and this right shall never be questioned." Now think about that for a moment. If the right to bear arms is not to be questioned, how is it that you must go to the government and apply for your so-called 'right to carry'? It requires government interference, paperwork, applications, approvals , taxes called 'fees,' mandatory classes, written tests, shooting tests, plastic-coated permission slips, fingerprinting, photographs, entries into criminal databases and expiration dates for your so called 'right to carry'.

Over the years, I have covered any number of reasons why you as a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, need to belong to, and be an active member of, a Good, Solid, Evangelical, Bible Preaching, Christ centered, Trinity believing church. But how do you find such a church? Well, to start, you interview the Pastor. That’s right, interview him. Note the word him, if you read on the sign or walk and find a woman pastor, simply scratch that church from your list and leave immediately. If anyone asks why you are leaving, simply tell them the truth, that you are looking for a Good, Solid, Evangelical, Bible Preaching, Christ centered, Trinitarian church, not a social club. Over the years I have been blessed by having some of the finest mentors any Christian man could aks for. They include: Rev. Lester Kringle, who first told me that God wanted me to preach. Rev. Don DeMars, who taught me the importance of and the nuts and bolts of being a father. Rev. Warren Feustal who, through his kindness and patience taught me how to be a husband. Rev. Jim Marstaller who has taught me funerals, weddings, the strength of convictions and the bravery of allowing questions and comments from the congregation and even visitors. And even way back in 1962 a secular world man by the name of S.SGT, Robert J, Fought USMC who taught me the importance of having convictions and unwaveringly standing by them. But the Mentor I turn to the most, the one Mentor whom I never have to wonder why, the one Mentor who died for me, shed His blood for me, who never will leave me nor forsake me is the same Mentor that each and every Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian can share with me, for He is the one Mentor I turn to the most, that Mentor is God the Holy Ghost. ...

Yesterday Rush Limbaugh said something very prophetic, he said that our nation, as we know it, is hanging by a thread. Over the last 5 days I asked a number of my fellow Pastors to read two previous thoughts, one of which was available to the public as a whole, the other with a more limited availability. I asked them to help me by reading the two and to comment on those two thoughts because I felt that maybe I was becoming more interested and working harder for secession than in evangelizing. Of the ones I asked, I am proud to say 50% responded within three days, praise be to God. The consensus of these responding was that it appeared that I was preaching secession more than the Gospel of salvation. As of today, that will change! Guys, let me make this perfectly clear to you, I am a lot more interested in your joining me with Christ for all eternity than having a free country to live in.
