First we need to look at something, we need to look at the Greek word nomikos. Nomikos is the Greek word translated to mean lawyers in the New Testament. And that in deed is what it translates into, but just what was a lawyer back when God walked the earth in the body of a man named Jesus. Lawyer didn't just mean a man or woman who represented you in court or one who drew up wills and the such, no, it meant maker of the laws, interpreter of the laws. So, who would the lawyers of 2000 years ago been? The Scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the ... Sanhedrin.

Who would Jesus be referring to in today's society? The congress, the administration, the cop on the beat and the judge dressed in black. The president, his minions and his ilk, those in the oxymoron department, better known as the Justice department, the fbi, ss, batf etc. They would be todays 'lawyers'. Not all, for there are some listed above who are honest and God fearing, but not many.

Now, read what the Lord has to say about them.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, 'If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.' Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers' guilt.

Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Matthew 22:29-33

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:32-37

But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them."

Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, "Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also."

And Jesus said, "Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. Luke 11:42-48

Now take a moment to think about todays government in these United States. Does not congress make laws for us but make themselves exempt? Is it not a criminal offense for you or I to lie in court, commit rape, sell secrets to the enemy? Yet did not the Senate of these very same United States say that it was all right for the president to do these things? Did not those in communist China steal secrets, bribe politicians and threaten us with nuclear war? Do they not round up Christians whose only crime is to believe on the Lord Jesus, the Christ, and hold them as prisoners till they have a buyer for the body parts of those prisoners and then kill them and harvest the parts for sale? Does not China persecute Christians, force the abortion of all babies beyond the second in any plain persons home? Yet did not this congress just reward these same communist with permanent most favored trade status?

When was the last time you saw the relative of a police officer in court for speeding? How oft do you see kin of a judge in court for stealing, shoplifting or anything else? A member of the bar in Portland Maine left his infant daughter in his car for hours on end, the baby was discovered in a comma, is that member of the bar in jail? You or I would be, but not him, for he is a member of the ruling elite. The chief of police in Portland said "I don't care about his constitutional rights" regarding a man who was legally carring a legal gun, after his arrest, the chief refused to return the gun, yet the district attorney has, even after more than eight years refused to charge this criminal with a badge with anything. That same chief used the girls and women of Portland as bait to catch a rapist, three more girls were raped while he bided his time, making his case. Did the city council fire him or even rebuke him? No, they gave him a raise.

Republicans in congress claim to be Pro-Life, yet they reward with our tax dollars, through foreign aid, countries who abort babies, by giving them more of our tax money to open more abortion clinics. And those countries that fight against abortion are listed as countries hostile to this nation. Their crime? Being Pro-Life.

Yes, today the Lord would be looking at congressmen who scream about the high price of gas, point fingers, but voted against reducing the tax by even eliminating temporarily 4.3 cent per gallon temporary tax on gasoline. We live in a time when the democrats and republicans in congress, the senate and the administration are in competition to see which can be the biggest hypocirites, liars, vipers.

May the Lord Jesus, the Christ, you Master, your Creator, be with you all, and if you have not accepted Jesus yet, what are you waiting for? We can not win this country back without Him, for if you are not part of Him, you are part of those listed above, for you can not serve both clinton and Christ!

Tuesday May 30th, 2000 (AC 6318)

As Moses lead the children of Isreal through the desert for forty years, oft times the children moaned, groaned and complained. Not only did they complain, but every once in a while they would yell at Moses about God being unfair, unjust, or just plain picking on them. Sounds a bit like us today doesn't it?

Well anyhow, every once in a while, God would look down, kind of shake his head and say, enough! And then He would do something that would cause the children of Isreal to stop their collective crying and start crying unto the Lord for forgiveness. One such time is in Numbers 21.

But why do you think God choose to have a bronze statue of a serpent put up on a pole, raised high above the people an then to heal every one who looked upon it? God does not put things in His book to simply fill space, He puts things in His book for us to learn from, this is no exception. This took place around 1445 BC.

Now about 1475 years later, Jesus was talking to one of the rulers of the Jews, a man by the name of Nicademous, the Lord was explaining to Nicademous that as Moses had raised the bronze serpent, so must the Christ also be able to fulfill that prophecy, that the Christ must also be placed on a pole, held high and those who look on Him, will be healed also, not of snake bites, but the bite of sin.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that God gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:14-18

What God did with Moses and his hanging the snake on the pole in the wilderness 1475 years before, was to demonstrate what one of the things one must do to be the Christ, Jesus fulfilled this command, this prophecy.

Just as some refused to look up at the serpent on the pole in the desert back in 1445 BC, so have many refused to look up at Jesus on the cross. The results are the same, those who refused to look up in the desert, died a horrible painfull death. Those who continue to reject Jesus do the same, they die and spend eternity withering in pain in the absoulte darkenss of pit of the serpent.

I pray the Lord will open your eyes this day and I pray that you who have looked up and accepted the Lord will rejoice in this beautiful day He has given us, that you will live for the day in which He will come for His own, for I look folward to meeting each and everyone of you. For those of you who continue to reject the Lord, well, your salvation is your responsibility. Jesus went up on that cross and shed His blood so that you could determine and decide where you will spend all eternity, Heaven with the Lord or hell with the serpent.

May God bless all of my fellow brothers and sisters, may He shine His face upon them and protect them in all they do.

for the weekend of Memorial Day 2000
May 27,28 &29, 2000 (AC 6318)

As we set aside a moment this Memorial Day weekend, to think about the men, the deeds, the events that made this nation great, can you help but think of Clinton, his minions and his ilk and not find yourslef shaking your head and asking yourslef, what has happened to this great country of ours?

As you watch the parades, with todays troops and men and women who served in years past, world war one, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf and otheres, can you help but to think of the draft dodging, communist sympathizer in the oval office that these brave men and women are forced to cal sir. Should it not be cur?

Look at the names on the walls, the names etched in granite, the names of men who died givng this nation a written constitution, a constitution made totally errelevant by the US Senate and this corrupt, evil, degenrate administration, can you help but wonder how they would have dealt with Clinton, Snowe, Baldacci, Allen and Frank? Do you think they died so that we as a people, that they fought, killed and died for, could and would turn the reigns of power over to communist, harlots, homosexuals, trailtors, and worse?

Since this is the holiday weekend, and we are expectiong more hits than normal, this weekends thought will use the NIV, instead of the KJV. Tuesday we will return to the KJV.

"This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.' "

In these two verses we see that first the One teaching us to pray is the Lord Himself, next we see Him telling us to always pray to God asking Him to let His will be done, not ours, but His. We sometimes lose sight of the fact that everything that happens here on earth happens because God the Father allows it to happen. He doesn't always cause it to happen, but He does allow it to happen. How do we know this? Look at Job 1:6-12

6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.

7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."

8 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."

9 "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied.

10 &11 "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face."

12 The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger." Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD. (NIV)

Here we see that even satan (a god that many in Washington seem to worship, if not openly, at least by their actions; open homosexuality and lesbianism, abortion, lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, coveting others' goods and money, treason, etc.) must get God's permission to act. All these are traits of devil worship and they appear to be rampant in our capital city. But, notice even satan had to appear before God, verse 6. Even satan had to report to God, verse 7. Even satan had to answer God's question, verse 8. And even satan has to ask God's permission to do anything, verses 9,10,&11. But look at verse 12, for there we see that satan can only do what God has given him permission to do.

Now you may be asking, so what does this have to do with Clinton, his minions, his ilk and his worshipers being in Washington and being in control of our nation and our government? OK, I'm getting to that. Let's look at Matthew 24. Now you should read the entire chapter yourself to really get the drift of this, but for now let us look at verses, :11-12

. 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, (NIV)

These two verses are telling us that in a times called ‘Sorrows', false prophets will appear and wickedness will increase and good will decrease.

. Now back to why Clinton and his crowd are in control, nowhere in the Bible is the United States of America mentioned! Not in one place. Oh, granted you will hear some preachers tell you that we are the next Babylon, perhaps they are reading something that I don't see, and others will tell you that the US is really the anti-Christ, but they are few and far between since they cannot support their conclusion using any scripture. So, let us for a minute assume the correctness of my statement, that nowhere in the word of God does the US appear. But, in the prophecies of Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and elsewhere, there is a description of a war in the end times. This is the war that ends the world, and it starts at the moment of rapture with the beginning of a time we call tribulation and ends with the battle of Armageddon, Revelation 16:16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (NIV)

Now, this battle takes place in Israel. Before this, in the beginning of tribulation, we find that Israel has signed a peace pact with the anti-Christ, not the US, but the anti-Christ. Does it not make sense to you that if the US were still a power, not just a super power, but any kind of a power at all, that Israel would be turning to us? But, since there is absolutely no mention of the US in the Bible, especially during the end times or the times of tribulation, does it not make you think that we are, at that time, reduced to less than a third world county? Perhaps a country so involved in self sexual gratification through homosexuality, drugs, lesbianism, and the worshiping of such things as money, cars, possessions, a country with no moral backbone and therefore a country that no other country fears, respects or wishes to be aligned with?

Is that not where Clinton, Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe in the US Senate, Barney Frank, John Baldacci, John Conyers and Maxine Waters of the House and their associates of both parties are taking us and this country? My friends, if we have, as I suspect, entered into the time Jesus calls a time of sorrows, then those in Washington are fulfilling end times prophesies as you read this today.

May God be with you and may He protect His from the coming wrath, for I will close with just one more bit of Matthew 24, verse 9
"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. (NIV)

The ‘you' the Lord is talking about here, are those who are His followers, those who are Born Again Christians, so pray that He will indeed let us not carry a cross any more difficult than we can bear in those times, or should I say these times.

a thought about being saved;

Not long ago, a bunch of us attended a Promise Keepers meeting in Augusta, Maine. While we were there many a fine word was spoken and I am sure that each and every speaker sought to touch the hearts of all the men that were there. I'm just as sure that each prayed and asked the Lord to bless the words that they spoke and I am sure that the Lord not only heard those prayers, but answered them as well.

One speaker spoke on the difference between those that are saved and those who are unsaved. I wish I could remember his name and quote him verbatim, but this is the essence of what he said.

For those of us that are saved through the blood of Jesus, born again Christians, this time on earth is the closest we will ever come to hell!

But for those who are unsaved, all of those who are not born again Christians, this time on earth is their heaven!

That's scary, but true. Read John 3:3.

Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." NKJV

May the Lord Jesus be with you all this Memorial Day weekend, may He forgive us as a nation and rescue us from the evil that has captured this nation and it's capitol. May God forgive us, cleanse us and raise up a leader for us that we can follow and one that will do God's will, serving Him and not satan

Today, you need to ask yourself this question, whom would I rather spend eternity with? The Lord and Creator, Jesus or satan. Do you want to spend wternity with the babies murdered while they slept in the supposed saftey of their mothers wombs, or the vicious muredrerous satan worshipping sadist that ripped them apart, killed them and sold their parts to equally evil researchers, doctors and drug companies? Jesus tells us in John 3:16-18 that He died so that we could all make that very choice, He tells us that by choosing to serve Him, one enters heaven. But by doing nothing or by choosing to serve satan, one enters hell.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. NKJV

Paul goes on in Romans to tell us that we must not only accept Jesus as Lord, Saviour, Master and Creator, we must confess that very fact to others.
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." NKJV
To my fellow veterans, let me add just this. Please give what I have written serious thought, for I would much prefer you spend eternity with me and the Lord Jesus whom I serve, than satan and those who serve him.

Daily Christian thought Friday May 26th, 2000 (6318 AC)

Elders.....

Have you ever wondered about the elders of your church? Ever thought to yourself, "what are these guys suppose to do and how are they picked?".

Well, today let us look at Elders. First, the Word of God, for it is He whom we serve, it is He who first laid down the reasons for and the requirements for elders. And then we will look at the way man has once again taken something pure and good and made it into one more slimmy way to undermine the Church of Jesus, His bride.

If you have your Bible handy, turn to Acts chapter six, for it here that we first learn of elders.

And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. This was very soon after Jesus had risen from the dead and the Holy Spirit had come to fill believers, the church was growing fast, really fast, at times adding thousands of believers in a day. The church was starting to care for the elderly, the widows, the sick and the abandoned. But, it was becoming a bigger job then the Apostles could handle, many of the none jewish Christians were not being feed, and as a result the non hebrew or jewish Christians were complaining.

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. The complaints had reached all the way up to Peter, John, James and the other Apostles, they said, look guys, our job is to pray, we can't be distracted by book keeping and house cleaning functions. Our job is to pray.

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. Now read this carelfully, the Apostles are telling the people to find some elders, they are saying, don't look for men who are experts in the field your looking for, look for men who are first, Born Again Believers also, men who are honest, full of the Holy Spirit and have wisdom. Wisdom is not expertise in the field of feeding widows, wisdom is knowledge of the Word of God.

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. For we are to do our job, the job of a pastor, the job of preaching the Word of God and praying for the Saved and the unsaved, the People of Christ and the government. Here the Apostles are very clearly stating that they, the pastors of the church, are to be involved not in bean counting but in soul harvesting.

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: And the peple agreed, for the Holy Spirit was within them and guiding them and they went out and found men, not with degrees in law and accounting, not with degrees in food handling and welfare, but men whom God had blesed with honesty, integrity, men who were Saved, men filled with the Holt Spirit, men with the wisdom of God's Word, men who would do what is right in the sight of God. If you have your Bible, turn to Acts chapter seven and read the entire account of one of the elders, an elder by the name of Stephen. Your elders at your church should be men like Stephen, for Stephen is the elder that God choose to write about in His Book, the Holy Bible, Stephen is the example of what an elder is suppose to be.

Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. Once appointed, these men were not just sent out to be elders, the pastors, Apostles, laid their hands upon them and prayed for them, they begged God to be with these men to guide them to protect them from evil and temptation to lead them to do His will.

And what happens to the church that selects the right pastor and elders?

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 6:1-7

Amen.

Now let's look at what has happened to elders thanks to government regulations. Since churches who are registered with the government, through the IRS, as 501(c)3 tax exempt organizations must file so much paperwork and comply with so many rules, regulations and laws, many a church forgos looking for Stephens and instead looks for men not filled with the Holy Spirit, not even men with wisdom, quite often these men are neither Born Again nor even men. For all to often the church of today is looking for a man or a women with a degree in law, with a degree in accounting, oh how lucky the church with a heathen former IRS agent by the name of Jezabell on it's board of elders.

But, why is this? Can we blame the pastor for this? No, we need to blame ourselves for this, for we refuse to donate to churches that can not give us a tax deductable receipt. If the church is not a government IRS approved 501(c)3 church, the donations given to that church are not tax deductable.

Now I want you to understand, this is not a plea for money, nor is it a plea for contributions, but when you get a chance, click on the link that says "Would you like to help this ministry?". We are not a 501(c)3 church, we can not give tax deductable receipts, we don't even accept checks anylonger, only cash or money orders. Why? I do not want to be influenced by a persons money nor giving, nor lack of giving. When we get a prayer request, I don't want to think, about how much the person gives, only about the prayer request. We, as you can see, get quite a few hits, judging by my email, we have a lot of folks who come daily, yet, even though our yearly exspences are under $1,500. Last year, we took over 95% of our operating exspences out of my wives paycheck as a teacher.

But, likewise, ACP has no elders, no one second guesing the Daily thoughts or the sermons. Both are done after prayer and with the guidence of the Holy Spirit.

Am I being critical of churches who have put government regulations ahead of the Word of God? Yes and no, I am being more critical of the so called Christian who demands a tax deductable reciept than I am the pastor who goes along with having heathen members on his board of elders.

But for those of you who are pastors reading this, let me tell you about a man whom I love, a man whom I know to be a true man of God, a pastor of pastors, yet he was removed from the church that he, through his preaching grew into the largest church of it's denomination in Maine, a church in a community of under five thousand who sent more youngsters to a youth function in Portland than any other church of any denomination in the state. A pastor who was not removed because of any failing on his part within his personal life or for failing to preach the Word of God from the pulpit. No, my brother, my mentor, my pastor, Lester, was remeoved because the board of governors said "he isn't a good admiistrator." and that's what happens when elders become men and women of the world and not men of God, not: men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom,.

The Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the Christ, Yeshua be with you and yours this day, pray that HE will help your church and that HE will guide your pastor and your elders to do what is right in the sight of God.

Daily Christian thought Thursday May 25th, 2000 (6318 AC)

It seems we have made our national choice.

Yesterday, the congress of these United States voted to give communist China, Permanent preferred trading staus. China, a brutal, communist country, a country that takes young Christian men and women, in their 20's and early 30's, puts them in islolated prison camps and uses them to fill orders from the United States for body parts. This is no secret, it was shown on US secular television stations. China is a nation that brags to the rest of the world about having aborted over 300,000,000 (three hundred million) babies in the last 20 years alone. No secret, it was on national televison. China a nation that bribed the president of the USA and in return got military secrets that have made them capable of aiming nuclear missles at US cites. A nation that ruthlessly hunts down and kills true Christians and anyone else that decents from the brutal party line. A nation that has out and out threatened the USA, yet, this congress put US sorvienty aside, put the truth of the tortures, abortions, and body part harvesting aside, put aside the treasonous behavior between the president and this communist regime and voted to reward China in an effort to maybe increase trade. To increase, possibly, the amount of money that a few well placed individuals and corprations can put into their pockets.

Yesterday the leaders of this country made it very clear to the entire wold that the United States of America, would from here on out, put a higher price on potential profit then on human life. This so called Pro-Life, Republican congress has just disgraced every ideal this nation was founded on. They have demonstrated their combined distain and hatred for the ideals of the founding fathers and the Christ in which this nation once put it's trust, tenfold more than anything the Democrats, and out and out communist front party, was ever able to do.

This congress abided not by the rule of law, the rule of the Constitution, the rule of Christ, but instead the rule of such hypocritical two faced pathological egotistical liars as Rush Limbaugh and Bill Clinton. This congress is a disgrace as is Mr. limbaugh, they are more of disgrace than the president, for with clinton, we know we are dealing with a satan worshipping communist, he by his every action has proven his stance, his hatred of both the constitution and the Word of God. But this congress and Mr. Rush Limbaugh smile at us, pat us on the back, tell us they love the Lord and are Pro-Christ, Pro-Life and Pro-Constitution and then turn around and deficate on all three.

Jesus said:

Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon .

and:

... a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

And why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:43-46

The founding fathers of this once great nation said at the very end of the Declaration of Independence and immediatley before they placed thier signatures:

"Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be FREE AND INDEPENDENT STATES; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

To those in Washington, the board rooms, the main stream media and Rush Limbaugh I would ask this:

What have you pledged your honor, fortunes and lives to? Gov. George Bush is not Pro-Life!

The Lord above came to earth in the form a man named Jesus, while on earth and before shedding His precious, sacred, sinless, pure and perfect blood for the atonement of our sins, giving us a way to eternal salvation and life in heaven with Him, He taught us certain things.

Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon .

and:

... a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

And why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:43-46

While Gov. Bush and most of the Republicans in the congress claim to be both Christians and Pro-Life, as the Lord has told us, they can not be both Christian and heathen nor can they be both Pro-Life and pro abortion. Jesus tells us that we will know which they are by their actions, by thier deeds, by their fruit.

Today, the congress will vote whether or not to give communist China permanant most favored nation status. China is a nation that forces women to abort their second baby, and every baby after the first is born. If a woman won't do this voluntarily, the government of China takes her, ties her down and rips her baby from her. No one who is Pro-Life could possibley want to reward a government like that, yet Gov. Bush and the majority of Republican congressmen are planning to once more bow down to the alter of clinton and a few big businesses and cast their vote to do just that.

If you put the life of even one unborn baby ahead of the profit sheet of Motorola , Dupont and Boeing, then call your congressman and tell him to vote against China and for the baby in the womb. And remember them in November, if George Bush wants your vote, let him prove by his actions that he is Pro-Life, that he is a Christian.

May the Lord our God bless you and keep you safe, may He reward those who are Pro-Life with a long, prosperous and healthy life and may He do to those who support abortion what the abortionist does to the baby in the womb.

Is the pope and idol worshipper?

Is the Pope a heathen?

Is he leading a hundred plus million men and women straight to hell?

I'm afraid the answer to both those questions is yes. The Pope, the head of the Roman Catholic church is every bit the worker of evil and servant of satan that clinton, reno, baldacii, snowe and the rest of this corrupt congress and administration are.

The Ten Commandments, Exodus twenty verses 1-7.

And God spake all these words, saying;

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ( Notice very carefully who is speaking here, the speaker introduces Himself by saying, "I am the LORD thy God". While Moses did the relaying of this message, God the Creator was the Author and original Speaker!)

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (You shall not worship anything other than God, You shall make no images of anything out an anything, for He is a jealous God and He will punish your children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren and your great great grandchildren if you do. But what has the Pope done? He went to Isreal stood on a mountain, walked up to a man made statue of what some humble human creation pictured in his own mind what God the Son, Jesus, the Messiah looked like while HE hung on the cross, prayed to it, embraced it and kissed it's feet. Now, you tell me what the pope was doing. Was he not practicing idol worship? Was he not worshipping a graven image made in the likeness of someone? Was he not bowing himself down to a statue of a depiction of the crucifiction?)

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (God will forgive and love those who abide by His rules, those who love Him enough to put Him ahead of idols, or any other false gods.)

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (To misquote God and His book, the holy Bible is to use His name in vain. When one twist the words of scripture to allow for the practices going on in the catholic church, one is using God's name in vain. When a preacher preaches that something in the old testament no longer counts, he is twisting God's Word and is using God's name in vain. When clinton says that he has searched the Bible and God does not consider oral sex adultery, clinton is using God's name in vain. When you do not raise your children to fear and love God with every fiber of their bodies, you are taking God's name in vain! Twist His words in any way whatsoever and you are just as guilty of using God's name in vain as the pope and clinton are.)

Try to understand what idolatry is, it is not just doing as the pope leads millions of catholics to hell by doing, worshipping openly at the feet of an idol, a statue, a thing graven by man, it is putting anything ahead of God. Our government does this through it's laws, the US congress enacted and has failed to remove, a tax penalty for being married, therefore a tax incentive for shacking up and living in sin. Causing people through tax incentives of over a hundred a month, to forgo God's Word and live together as husband and wife without the bonds of matrimony. This is idlolaty, it is the worshipping of a sexual relationship over and above the rules which God laid down for sexual relationships, that is worshipping mans laws above God's laws. And God will not hold you harmless, for He very clearly tells us that He will "visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;".

Stop trying to make God's Word conform to your life, make your life conform to God's Word. Think about this for a moment, the liberal preacher tells you that Jesus is your best friend. Hogwash! Jesus is not your best friend, He is your creator, He is your God. But to give you some idea of how humble you are, God first made dirt and from that dirt, He made Adam and Eve and from Adam and Eve, we decended.

The Children of Isreal had it right when they said to Moses after God had given him the Ten Commandments;
And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. Exodus 20:18&19

For keep this in your mind always, never forget these words spoken by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

So, what is it? Pornography? Masturbation? What?

Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror and said to yourself, "There is no way God can love me, not while I'm addicted to this (Fill in your worst sin). Have you, if you are a Born Again Christian, doubted your salvation because of some hidden sin in your heart? A sin that keeps coming back, no matter how hard you try to avoid it? A sin like watching pornography on the internet, or perhaps looking too closley at you daughter's friends when the spend a night over and are lounging around the living room in their pajamas?

Maybe your sin is that you really want to see clinton, reno and their gun tootin bodyguards and enforcers in the batf, fbi, ss and other black booted thugs get what's coming to them. Perhaps you find yourself dreaming or robbing a bank, or gambeling or having an affair.

Thank God for the Apostle Paul, for Paul too wrestled with a sin of the flesh. And if there is anyone's salvation we can be sure of, it is the 12 Apostles, including Paul. In today's thought, we're going to look at what Paul had to say as he wresteled with the sin of the flesh, while we do not know what that sin was, we so know what ours are and what Paul wrote 2000 years ago, is just as valid today as it was then.

Romans 7:13-25 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

So, what is Paul saying? Let's look again at what Paul wrote, this time with notes that you may find helpful:

Romans 7:13-25

God forbid. No! God forbid such a thing would happen to a man who is really Born Again.

But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Here Paul is telling us that sin,makes itself known to us as sin, causing us to doubt our own salvation or for those who are unsaved, doubting that they ever can be forgiven. This is one of satans many little tricks to make us doubt our salvation or convinced the unsaved that they are to bad for God to forgive.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Paul, here is admitting that he is only human, and that by being human he, like us, has been sold to satan by the original sin of Adam and Eve. That no matter how hard we try, we can not be perfect, as Jesus is perfect, not while we are bound within our earthly bodies.

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. Those things that I do, I don't want to do, those things that I want to do, I fall short in. Kind of like this, I don't want to look at that girl bending over in her mini skirt, but I can't help it, I am only human. This is what Paul is telling us, that we are but humans and while we want to do what is right in the sight of the Lord at all times, we are human and satan still has much rule over our lives. It is part of the cross we bear. For you women out there it would be like this, "I don't want to wear these whorts, but I look so cute in them, I can't help myself".

If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. By realizing, thanks to the Laws laid down by God in the first five books of the Bible, that I understand that I am doing wrong. That is good, for then I can ask the Lord Jesus to forgive me and strengthen me, and help me be less sinful.

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Ok, here it is, here paul is summerizing, he is telling us that while we are doing the sin, it is satan's ownership of us that causes it. Look, Paul is not excusing us for the sins we fight with, he is telling us that it is our sinful nature that causes it. It is only human for a man to look at a woman, but it is wrong to look at any woman other than our own wife with lust in our heart. It is wrong to dream about robbing a bank or a news report that starts of with the shocking announcement that someohow during then last 30 minutes every abortionist and all those who support abortion had their arms ripped off of them and then the rest of their bodies were ripped up, kind of like what the abortionist does to the baby in the womb. And while I agree it would be wonderful to hear such news, when you think of it, how could we? For who would be left to bring us the news, is not the media just in love with the abortionist as clinton, reno, baldacci and snowe are.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? But I see another law within me, that is the law of God, it is the Holy Spirit within us who are Saved. and it is that Holy Spirit who will help us fignt off the law of man, sin, all we need do is beseech His help, repent and ask the Spirit to help you, say the Lords prayer.

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Here Paul is thanking God for coming to the earth in the form a man named Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins, God didn't ask someone else to die for us, He came to earth Himself, as the perfect Lamb, the perfect and sinless, blamless and without blemish or sin, sacrifice to atone for what Adam had done 4,318 years before, when Adam for a bit of sin, turned control of the earth and all that is in it and on it, over to satan.

So, when you find yourself faced with what seems like an unpardonable sin, stop trying to fight it on your own, turn to God if you are Saved, and let the Holy Spirit that dwells within you help you fight it. Remember, once you're Saved, Born Again, your body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit, but also remember this, God only helps you when you ask His help, while He knows even before you, what things you are in need of, He has given you free will. And that free will let's you decide what path to take and what help to ask for.

For those of you who are unsaved, read John 3:1-18 to find why you must get Born Again and Saved and then find an old encyclopedia, one written before political correctness and the reinventing of history and read about Roman Centurions. Then read Acts the 10th chapter.

Friday, I told you that you should never give up your Bible or your guns. Today, I am first going to ask you a question, by relaying to you a news story:

At about 8:PM December 20th, 1999, a man forced his way into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Horn in Cumberland county, Tennessee. The intruder, one Jason McCulley, a 28 year old , not unknown to local police, threatened the couple with a knife, tied them up and forced them to an upstairs bedroom, while he was preoccuppied with Mrs. Horn, Mr. Horn was able to free himself, get his gun and sent this young hoodlum to his final judgement. McCulley, a staunch supporter of gun control, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cumberland county medical center.

Now, my question to you, especially those of you who live in New york, Washington, Los Angeles, Detroit and other communities with draconian gun laws. Had that happened to you and your wife, what would the outcome have been?

It is time for Christians to be armed!

In recent times we have seen absolute hostility towards the Christian community. Now I'm not talking about you social club Christians, you have no hostility towards you and why should you? For you have turned from the God of Redemption to the god of get along, follow the rules, protect the child murdering scum in the white house and the abortion mill. So, why would anyone of the world hold any hostility towards you, you're on your way to hell with them. Satan already has your infant blood soaked soul.

No, I'm talking about those few Christians that put Jesus first and foremost, that worship Jesus not just with candles and pretty little hymns that talk about flowers and earth and mundane things of the earth. But those who fall on their faces, those who cry tears of joy, pain and suffering, those who grieve for this nation and it's way of life, those who practice what they preach and know that God wrote the book we call the Bible and that HE said exactly what HE meant and meant exactly what He said in His book.

Turn with me to the book of Luke:

And Jesus said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said He unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And Jesus said unto them, It is enough.

There is not one place in Scripture where God tells us, to not defend our families. When you listen to those who preach "turn the other cheek", read the verses yourself, God is talking about you turning your cheek when you are struck, not turning the other cheek when your loved ones are struck. Women, wives, have children, men, husbands, protect them!

The Lord be with you, and if you are not armed, get armed, for the time comes when this Nazi loving , homosexual loving, anti Christ worshipping, child murdering clinton/ reno government will do to the fundamental Christian what Hitler tried to do to the jews. But this time satan through his minions his ilk and those who serve him knowingly and unknowing, like clinton, reno and the extreme left wing liberals in the US Government will be going after the real children of God, the Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian.

Christian get your gun, learn to use it, stay in prayer to the Lord and be prepared to defend your family, for there are no differences between Gore, Bradley, McCain and Bush! But what of clinton and his gang, what do they worship? Could one who condones the murder of a baby be a follower of Christ? So, while we worship God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, clinton and his follow satan.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Clinton had his mother killed to keep her from talking to the press and finishing her book.

Thou shalt not kill. Clinton, his minions and his ilk, tortured, gassed, killed and burnt to death 87 men, women and children at the Branch Dividian compound outside of Waco, Texas.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Clinton has been found guilty of perjury by a judge he appointed.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. This man, this the most corrupt and degenerate individual to ever hold public office in these United States, has not only stolen US property to furnish his home in New York, he is conspiring with the forces of evil to steal Isreal and give it to the decendnts of Esau.

Yes, it really is quite simple, clinton, the main stream media, the fbi, batf, irs, and the rest of this government hate those who follow Christ, for they follow satan and and no one that follows satan can do anything but evil to those of us who follow Christ, their god, satan will not allow it. The key to accepting the Bible as absolute truth.

The key to accepting Jesus as Messiah, is the understanding and 100% accptence of this one verse, this verse that is so important that God put it at the very beginning of His book the Holy Bible.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Genisis 1:1-5

You see, if you understand that God created the earth, that it didn't evolve, that it wasn't some random act of collision between two bits of dust a trillion years ago, but, that the earth and all that is in it and on it were created by God. Once you understand that and really accpt it, then every thing else in the Blbile is easy to accept. For what could possibly be to difficult for the God who created the earth, by simply thinking and speaking it into existance, to do. How hard is it for that God to cause a virgin to have His Son? How hard would it be for that God who created the universe to cause a 90 year old woman to have a son named Abram who would later become Abraham? How hard would it be for that God to come to earth in the form a man named Jesus and raise Himself from the dead after three days.

Now take a moment to think and to ask yourself this one question. Do you really believe that God created the earth, the waters, the atmosphere, all of the plants, trees, flowers, animals, fish and man in six days? If after giving true thought and soul searching to that question, you can not honestly say yes, then say this little prayer:

Lord God help me to believe, amen.

May the Lord Jesus, the Messiah be with you all, may He lead you to accept Him and His ways, even when you do not fully understand either.

Why the warning?

Luke 6:27-38

But I say unto you which hear,

Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

In Luke chapter six, verses twenty seven through thirty eight, we see the importance of using extreme caution when doing business, for the Lord has taught us that we are not to demand payment for that in which we have loaned, that if a man ask for your shirt or for that fact even takes it by force, you are not to stop him from taking your coat also.

The Lord teaches that we are to: Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. We know that we are not to sue a brother Christian, nor are we to lend to him or her thinking of getting paid back, but here the Lord is telling us that when some one steals from you and him that taketh away thy cloke, as Wal Mart seems to be doing by causing debit accounts to be overcharged, we are not to fight them over it, but instead, give them a few dollars more, forbid not to take thy coat also, if they ask for it or try to take it.

So, if you are a Born Again Believer, you should avoid risk, risk that would or could cause you to want to sue a person or company that cheats you or alters your check or credit card, the best way to avoid that risk is to use only cash when dealing with companies that seem to be manipulating the amounts submitted on credit and debit cards. If you're going to use checks, insist that your check be run through by hand and not by machine and scanner. Or better yet, get checks that scanners refuse to read.

For the best way to avoid the desire to sin is to avoid doing things that might cause you to sin.

False Christ, false teachers, false doctrines.

Over the last few weeks it has become abundantly obvious, even to those who watch little or no television, like my wife and myself, that the networks are pushing a false and dangerous doctrine, showing false Christ and false teachings. Sometime in the last week or two CBS, one of the major televison networks in the US of A, blasphemed God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. How do I know? I read the Bible. But for those who refuse to read God's Word, the Holy Bible, the lies on CBS, showing the Messiah as something other than what He is were convincing to say the least. For we in our humbleness like to see the Lord as just another Joe. CBS and satan know that and they play off of it.

Let us look at what the Messiah said, the warning He gave His disciples and apostles.

Matthew 24:11-24

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Currently we have preachers claiming that they have seen Jesus, that they have talked to Jesus and that they have a new message to deliver. The Lord tells us in the above verses to not believe such men and women, nor should you believe the evil which is television. Look, your salvation is your responsibility and your responsibility alone. If you choose to disobey the Word of God and follow false preachers, be my guest, but don't think for even one micro second that you can use that as an excuse when the day of judgement comes. For the Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua has warned you and warned you and warned you, if you fail to heed those warnings by refusing to read His Book, so be it. But never loose sight of this, you and only you will decide where you are to spend eternity, in heaven with the Lord or in hell with satan.

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You Save yourself by accepting Jesus as your Lord, your Saviour, your Creator, your God. You condemn yourself to an eternity of hell by not accepting Jesus as your Lord, your Saviour, your Creator, your God. Simple huh, fairer or more just it could not be, for you and only you determine where you will spend eternity.

May the Lord Jesus be with you, may He help you and guide you, may He bless you and protect you and yours if you are His already.

Do you have itchy ears?

Two thousand years ago, Paul wrote a letter to Timothy, the letter could have been written today about today. Many it seems, think only of Paul as an apostle of the Christ, Lord Jesus. But Paul was also a prophet of God and as a result, everything he warns us about will come true. A trip to any of the so called main stream churches on Sunday morning will confirm what Paul prophesied, within ten minutes of the preacher or priest starting his or God forbid, her, sermon. We hear preachers condoning adultery, homosexuality, abortion, clinton politics, welfare, socialism, and worse, we here preachers denying the divinity of Jesus and refusing to preach that if one is not born again that one will most definitely go to hell. They refuse to preach the Trinity and scoff at the virgin birth of the Lord.

Now read what Paul wrote two thousand years ago.

2 Timothy 3:1-6

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lust. Are you one of these silly women?
How about your wife, mother, sister, daughter or some other woman close to you? If they are, what should you do about it?

2 Timothy 4:1-5

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For remember, what Paul had told us would happen:

Don't read between the lines of God's word, read the Bible as if it were a letter written by God to you. A personal letter that starts off:
My dearest ___________, In the beginning I, God created the heaven and the earth.

Don't let the preacher get in the way of your salvation, don't let the main stream media or the politicians, cops, teachers, preachers or anyone else. Remember The Messiah, Jesus, told us in Matthew and Mark;

...fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

and

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36-37

And one day, you will bow before the Lord, you will acknowledge that Jesus is God and then He will tell you where you will spend eternity. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12

And Jesus said:

"I and my Father are one."

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son Jesus into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Jesus might be saved. He that believeth on Jesus is not condemned: but he that believeth not on Jesus is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

These verses make it very clear indeed that only those who are Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians are going to heaven, all others are going to hell. If you are not Born Again, you are absolutely on your way to hell, the micro second you die, there is no other option. The only way to get into heaven is to accept the Lord Jesus, the Christ as your own personal Lord, Master, Creator and Saviour. To do otherwise is to absolutely guarantee yourself of an eternity of everlasting torment, pain, burning and ultimate darkness in hell. Read what the Lord said again, in verse three. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Do you see any room for exceptions? Of course not; why? Because there is no other way into heaven except through what the Messiah did on the cross.

May the Lord Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, God, bless all of you who are saved and for those who are not, that read this, May the Holy Spirit touch their hearts, open their eyes and allow the truth of Scripture to abide within them.

If Jesus came for His church today, would you be left behind? If you died twenty minutes from now, would you see the kingdom of heaven?

Rely on no man for your salvation, rely on the Word of God. You and only you are responsible for your salvation.

On April 20th 1999, two satan worshiping hitlerites were turned loose at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Well, last night my wife and I had the opportunity to hear Daryl Scott, the father of Rachael Joy Scott and to watch Dana Scott, Rachael older sister do a mime act that Rachael had taught her a week before she was murdered for saying yes to the question, "Do you believe in Jesus?" Today's thought is a link to the Scott's website, take a moment and read it, last night, when Daryl finished speaking he offered an alter call. Hundreds went forward, most with tears in their eyes.

Why the warning?

Luke 6:27-38

But I say unto you which hear,

Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

In Luke chapter six, verses twenty seven through thirty eight, we see the importance of using extreme caution when doing business, for the Lord has taught us that we are not to demand payment for that in which we have loaned, that if a man ask for your shirt or for that fact even takes it by force, you are not to stop him from taking your coat also.

The Lord teaches that we are to: Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. We know that we are not to sue a brother Christian, nor are we to lend to him or her thinking of getting paid back, but here the Lord is telling us that when some one steals from you and him that taketh away thy cloke, as Wal Mart seems to be doing by causing debit accounts to be overcharged, we are not to fight them over it, but instead, give them a few dollars more, forbid not to take thy coat also, if they ask for it or try to take it.

So, if you are a Born Again Believer, you should avoid risk, risk that would or could cause you to want to sue Wal Mart. And the best way to avoid that risk is to use only cash when dealing with companies that seem to be manipulating the amounts submitted on credit and debit cards. If you're going to use checks, insist that your check be run through by hand and not by machine and scanner. Or better yet, get checks that scanners refuse to read.

For the best way to avoid the desire to sin is to avoid doing things that might cause you to sin.

Yet the congress and the senate of these United States can not seem to find the courage to with hold most favored trade status for China. They like the president, have become so dependent on China for financial support it would seem, that they care about nothing else.

Should we who are Born Again be surprised at this? No, heavens no, for Jesus has told us this would happen.

Matthew 24:3-9
And as Jesus sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are but the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake.

We have the wars all over the globe, we have this congress and this senate allowing the president to bomb aspirin factories, bridges and hospitals under the guise of saving the children, while in fact it is for no other reason then to keep his own ill deeds off the front pages. And now, we are starting to see the beginning of real persecution of Christians, real persecution, yet ignored by this congress and senate so as to appease their new master and his god.

But, what else could we expect from this corrupt and degenerate government? A government that makes perjury by the president a lesser crime than spitting on the sidewalk. For our written constitution very clearly states that a president is to be removed from office for high crimes and misdemeanors. Friends, a misdemeanor is spitting on the sidewalk, jaywalking and parking tickets. For as the Lord has told us, this government ins incapable of doing what is right, for:

Luke 6:43-45
For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

And then there are those who lie, cheat, steal, murder and even put their lives on the line to protect this filth in the oval office. Think about that for a moment, most Americans who call themselves Christians wouldn't die or inconvenience themselves for the Lord Jesus, yet those flunkies called the fbi and secret service will die for their lord Clinton and he whom Clinton serves, satan.

I will not ask God to show mercy on this country any longer, now I ask God to rescue us from the evil we have become. Yesterday's thought dealt with parents and daughters, I am appalled at the responses, we have become as sick and degenerate as those we send to Washington and Augusta, Maine. We do not deserve His forgiveness, we deserve His wrath and His punishment. For it appears that through no other means will this nation turn form it's evil ways and repent. And may the Lord God Almighty do to the abortionist and those who support abortion what the abortionist does to the baby in the womb.

Lord deal with us, for we know that You only chastize those whom You love. And I pray that Your love for us has not turned to hate. Show us that You love us Lord by caring enough for us to discipline us.

Well, here come the bikinis.

Deuteronomy 22:13-21

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, and give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; and, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

You who are fathers and mothers of daughters, would your daughter be protected by the elders or stoned by the men of the city? Well, as summer dawns and the bikinis come out, perhaps you had best keep these verses in mind. For if you condone and encourage your daughters parading around in front of men and women alike in nothing more than what is seen on the beaches and called bathing suits, the chances of your raising a young woman who would be protected are very slim to say the least, for girls like boys are rebellious in their teens and it is up to dad and mom to put restraints on her.

As parents, we all know that kids, both boys and girls are going to push to see how much they can get away with. That is only natural, but when your little girl comes out of the changing room wearing a bikini or other suggestive apparel, and mom says, "oh, isn't that cute", your daughter says, in her mind, "well, I got away with that, let's see what she says to this", and next will be even less.

You're not her best friend, God never intended you to be her best friend, you are her parents. It is up to you to raise your children up in the ways of the Lord and those ways do not include raising your daughters to be a slut and your sons to be a promiscuous disease ridden slobs. Get it right parents, there is no such thing as a born again virgin, her virginity is a one time thing, she keeps it intact and brings it to the wedding bed, or she is a slut. Left to her on devices, she will go with her earthly instincts. That is why dads and moms need to be on top of things all the time, if your little girl is gong to win the battle between virginity at marriage and sluthood, she is going to need all the help and guidance you can give her. And don't think for one minute that she is going to just accept this guidance, she will in all probability fight you tooth and nail. Start with her when she is still in the womb with prayers and then from the day she enters the wold to the day she marries, you choose her cloths, you choose her friends, you rule her life.

By the way, most of you reading this who have children over fourteen have already lost this battle, but, you can help others win, when you see a youngster wearing suggestive clothing, don't smile condescendingly, shake your head and show your disappointment. Pray for your kids, your grandchildren and the little ones in your church. Don't fall for the "misery loves company" garbage, help others to not make the same mistakes so many of us have already. Pray for God's help for those parents and their kids.

And one last thing, if you really do think your little girl looks cute in skimpy bathing suits and things, you need to reevaluate your relationship with your daughter. You need to fall on your knees and beg Gods forgiveness and help in seeing your daughter as your daughter and not as some cute little honey in a bikini. For she is not some cute little honey down the street, she is your daughter.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Wow, is that a common question or what? How often does one hear that same question asked? Seems every time something that one perceives as being bad happens to them, the first thing they do is question God and ask "why do bad things happen to good people?" What they really mean is why does God allow bad things to happen to good people like me? What surprises me most, is when folks who claim to be Born Again Believers ask that question, folks who claim to read the word of God, the Bible, for Jesus addresses enough of that question in three of the four gospels to preclude the asking of that question by anyone who reads His words.

Mark 10:17-18
And when Jesus was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to Him, and asked Him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

So, why do bad things happen to good people? Well, to start with, there are no good people for we are all sinners worthy of death, none of us is good enough to earn heaven, for even God when He walked the earth in the body of a man called Jesus, did not consider Himself good, for He lived in an evil society and within the body of man.

But are those things we oft times consider bad really bad in the first place? Not allows. Look here:
Zechariah 13:8-9
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

So, that thing you're referring to as bad in your live may be the Lord working in your life, refining you and preparing you to do that which He has reserved for you to do. As silver is refined by putting it in the fire, taking it out letting it cool and then putting it back in the fire again, as this is done over and over again in the process of refining silver, so does the Lord refine us. Not with fire, bur with trials and tribulations, things to get the garbage out of our lives and bring us closer to Him. When these things happen, instead of cursing God, thank Him for loving you enough to take the time and effort to refine you.

The Lord JESUS, the Messiah, Yeshua be with you and bless you this day, may He shine His face upon you and bless you abundantly. May He hear your prayers and refine you gently.

What if Jesus came to your house?

Tell me something, what would you do if the Lord knocked on your front door? When you opened the door and saw that it was the Lord, would you be ashamed of what you were wearing? Would you hastily put the cigarette behind your back? Would you be able to invite the Lord right in or would you have to ask Him to wait a minute while you turned off the TV or hid the book or magazine you were just reading? Would you be able to welcome Him in or would you first have to hide the booze?

Last night my wife did something that made me so proud of her that I am almost busting at the seams. You see both my wife and I are in our mid fifties, now for a man, that means a bit of a bulge around the middle, or at least it does in my case. But, for a woman, well, it is a bit different, things are happening to her body that I neither understand nor care to learn any more about. But, my wife, like all woman in or entering into that stage of their lives does need to know, and that means reading books.

Now, neither Cec, my wife, nor I am really big on using prescription drugs, since the drug manufacturers have started experimenting on, with and using parts from aborted babies bodies to develop their new ‘wonder' drugs, we have mostly stayed clear of anything requiring a prescription. But, herbs we both trust and use. Unfortunately there are very few doctors around that are even marginally knowledgeable of herbs and herbal treatments, so, we get herb books and try to treat ourselves, mostly I might add with excellent results.

Well, yesterday Cecily stopped by our local GNC store and picked up a book that dealt specifically with the thing middle aged woman go through. When she got home and started looking through this book, she suddenly put it down and said, " we can't have this book in the house". When I asked her why, she said, "it is full of witchy stuff and references to the ‘goddess'. What would Jesus think and what would we do if He came to the door while I was reading it.".

What about you, would you let the Lord look at the history of where you visit on the net? Would you let Him poke through your library? Would you have to change your tv viewing habits if He came for the weekend or even the night? What would you do if He said, "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd come by and hang out with you guys for the week.".

My wife did exactly what a born again believer should do, she realized that Jesus is with us constantly, that He sees and hears all we do and say, that He indeed does live right here in our home with us, for our bodies are the home of His Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 6:15-20
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

What?, know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith He, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

What?, know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Anything in your house you need to return or take to the dump? Remember you cannot yard sale the stuff of satan, you have to return it if you bought it in error or take it to the dump. The Lord Jesus, the Messiah, Yeshua, be with you all.

God should be on your mind...

The Lord God tells us that we should be constantly thinking of Him, thanking Him, serving Him and doing what is right in His sight. While this is today's thought, starting today, there will be a Bible lesson. What I am attempting to do is introduce new and old Christians to the King James Version of the Bible, the only Authorized versions, the version of 1611. What you will find is that the words of Jesus are in red, the word quoted by God the Father are in purple and those spoken by satan are in a sickly greenish grey. In every instance where the words he and him appear and are referring to one of the three within the trinity, the H is capitalized. When confusion arises over who the Bible is referring too, such as in the writings of Paul, after the he or him, He or Him, in smaller letters within two commas will appear the name of the individual the writer is referring to.

Please bear in mind, while the words of God are in purple and the words of Jesus are in red, this is not for even a moment to indicate that the entire Bible is anything other than God breathed and dictated.

The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

2 Peter 1:20-21
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

This is not an effort to interpret the KJV, this is simply and effort to try and make the KJV a bit easier to understand, without taking anything away from the beauty of the written word of GOD.

Why is a pathological lying, adulterous traitor president?

Or, to put it another way, why is bill clinton president? william jefferson blithe clinton, a man incapable of telling the truth it would seem, is president, because all of the governments of the world belong to satan and satan gives these governments to whom he chooses from those who fall down and worship him. Now that is not to say that if God's people were to get on their knees and really and truly pray and beg for forgiveness for themselves and this country, that God would not override satan and give us one who would lead this once great nation to God instead of away from God. How do we know that satan owns the governments? We know because The Lord Jesus, the Messiah Himself has told us so.

Let us start with Matthew,

Matthew 4:1-11

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to the Lord, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But Jesus answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Then the devil taketh Jesus up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Now let's look at Luke,

Luke 4:5-8

And the devil, taking Jesus up into an high mountain, shewed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto Jesus, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

In both Gospels, satan has told the Lord that if He will worship him, satan, that he will give to the Lord all the kingdoms of the world, in Luke satan goes on to say, that he can give them away to whomever he chooses, because they are his. Jesus said no to satan. bill clinton has obviously said yes.

The Lord JESUS, who is the CHRIST, the MESSIAH, GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF, be with you all.

Census 2000, can you lie...?

We, here in these United States are in the midst of having the every ten year census being taken. But, as some of you have noticed, some of the questions, actually most of them, have nothing to do with the counting of citizens of the country, but have a ton to do with other questions.

The question has been asked; "Pastor, when I find the questions intrusive and believe them to be unconstitutional, can I refuse to answer them and if the government worker insist on and answer, can I, as a Born Again Christian, lie?"

First we need to look at the Scripture that will comprise my answer;

Matthew 22:17-21 and the scribes, in an effort to trap the Lord, asked Jesus:

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

18&19 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto Him a penny.

20 And He saith unto them. Whose is this image and superscription?

21 They say unto Jesus, Caesar's. Then saith He unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

1 Peter 2:13-14

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

Does this sound as if I am telling you that you must answer the questions? Does it lead you to believe that you must tell them the truth to those who come to your door with prying questions? I'm not. Quite the contrary, what I am doing is showing you that you are commanded to obey the lawful government, the king, that you must give unto Caesar what is lawfully Caesar's, but are clinton, his minions and his ilk the lawful king? Is he in the place of Caesar? No, God forbid, no he is not.

We here in these United States are lawful residents of one of 50 states, these states make up a voluntary union of states, this voluntary union of states was made up to get the mail delivered, fight wars and provide for a common and trustworthy defense on the border of each state and to help expedite trade amongst other things. By being a resident of a member state, we are both protected by the Constitution and obliged by it in a very few instances, such as being a member of the militia and being counted. This counting is very important for it is by this count that we assure that every state is properly represented in the congress of these united States.

And it is that written Constitution that is the supreme law of the land, Caesar so to speak, clinton, his minions and his ilk are nothing but duly elected public servants, they are bound to the job description of this written constitution and have no further authority. Now what does the constitution say about the census?

Article One Section Two paragraph 3.
"Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole number of free persons, including those bound to service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other persons. The actual enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct. ... " For the entire US Constitution

Congress can pass laws effecting how the count is to be taken and the such, but they have no authority to ask you how many toilets you have or if your kid is sickly or not. So, You as a citizen of one of the states that make up the voluntary union of these united States, must tell them how many folks live in your house, for that is commanded by Caesar, the King, the Supreme government authority, the US Constitution. But as for the other things, you have every right to refuse to answer those questions. Now if the person at your door refuses to take that for an answer, tell him or her to get the big yellow book, D-547(M) (7/99) out and tell him or her to turn to page 11-11. That book is entitled "Nonresponse Followup Enumerator Manual" And deals with objections, on page 11-11, it very clearly states, if a person being interviewed says " These questions are none of the governments business." The third answer is "You can skip the questions you find objectionable. Let me start reading them so that you can see what they are like, then skip any you don't like."

Ok, now let's say you get one that is obnoxious and threatens you with jail, police, janet reno etc. Can you lie? Is that one of the options? Do we have biblical authority to lie to an intrusive illegal treacherous government?

And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. And Sari did as when was told, she lied, so as to save Abram's life.

David lied:

1 Samuel 21:1-2
Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place. David wasn't on assignment from the king, he was on the run. David was alone, he hadn't left his army encamped elsewhere. David lied. He could have killed the priest and taken the bread and the sword he needed, but instead he choose to lie.

Look, I am not telling you to lie. I am telling you that if this government lackey will not take no for an answer, you will not loose your salvation, by not telling a public servant who is abusing his constitutional authority, the truth, to answers that #1; he has no right to ask and #2; you are under no constitutional mandate to answer.

Refuse first, and then, if he or she will not accept your refusal and threatens to call the cops, his supervisors, the fbi, batf or whatever evil black booted thugs he can think of, tell him to leave your property, pick up the phone, call the police and have this lout arrested. For you see the law and the constitution are on your side and you do not need to lie, for you do not need to answer any questions you find objectionable. You are only required, constitutionally, to tell them the number of folks living under your roof. And then call your congressman and senators and complain loud and long.

The Lord Jesus be with you and may He send someone to rescue our country quickly.

The Word of GOD...

God tells us in His Book, the Holy Bible, that we are to contemplate His Words, study His Words and teach His Word as well as live by His Words.

Deuteronomy 11:19
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

But, how are we to do that, if we do not study His Word, the Holy Bible? We can't, so, starting within the next day or so, the thought will be expanded a bit, we will be looking at 1/720th of the Bible each day. Instead of the Bible part being a part of the previous daily thoughts, that are listed several hundred at a time, making it somewhat difficult to go to just one, without scrolling down through a years worth, each Bible study will be a web page in itself, with an index at the bottom of the front or daily thought page and then on a separate page later. This will all be happening while at the same time we will be changing web addresses. The new address will be: www.Christianpatriot.com since we are not a 501(C)3, we are not eligible for a .org designation. And this ministry will not be a 501(C)3! There is no way the IRS is going to dictate what will or will not be preached on this site! Abortion is murder and clinton is a lying murderer, and no amount of tax exempt status will ever change that.

Touch my sister will ya...

Looking at the direction this country is going, it doesn't seem as though it will be long before the clinton's, the snowe's. Baldacci's and barney frank's of this country will be telling us there is nothing wrong with incest. Already they have condoned and legalized sodomy, homosexuality, lesbianism and adultery. How much longer before they take a ho hum attitude towards incest?

But not to God's people, not now, not a hundred years from now and certainly not back 3200 years ago. Something happened back 3600 years ago that was so important, that God put it in His book as a means of illustrating how brothers are to protect their sisters.

Back before the Israelites were captive in Egypt, back before Moses was given the Ten Commandments and the Law as written in the first five books of the Bible, lived the patriarchs. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Jacob was the son of Isaac, Isaac was the son of Abraham and Abraham was the man in whom God promised that from him and his decedents would come the Messiah, Jesus. No ordinary family to say the least. Jacob had twelve sons, these twelve sons became the fathers and namesakes of the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph actually became two tribes and we will discuss that at a later time, but in addition to twelve sons, Jacob had a daughter, a daughter named Dinah.

Genesis 34:1-27

And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her. And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel. And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife. See, he loved her, so this little bit of premarital consensual sex must be ok, shouldn't it?

And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come. And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him. And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing ought not to be done. And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife. Look here, Shechem wants to do what is right, he wants to marry Dinah and make an honest woman of her, Dinah's brothers and God must be really proud of Shechem, right?

And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you. And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein. And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give. Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife. Now this Shechem certainly seems to be an honorable man, at least in the eyes of the secular society. BUT,

And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister: And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us: But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised; then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people. But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone. Wow, tough conditions, ever man must be circumcised in the community if the king's son is to marry Dinah. Man these sons of Jacob are asking a lot, one serious punishment. But as you can see, Shechem really want Dinah, she was probably the first girl he had ever met with any virtue what so ever, so:

And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son. And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father. And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying, these men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised. Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us. And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city. Look at that, Shechem and his dad, the king, convinced ever man in the city to agree to a bit of snipping, they must have been very convincing, and of course there were no zippers around then, so some men might really not have had any idea of what they were getting into. So, Jacob's sons held their ground and it appears that Dinah's honor has been avenged. Not hardy guys, when some guy defiles your sister, you don't let them off that easy, read on.

And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out. The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. What did they do? They killed every man and every male in the city old enough to be circumcised, that's eight days and over. So, when your best friend asks you to fix him up with your sister, perhaps it would be best to warn him, or have him read these chapters and tell him that you think of your sister as Dinah and your dad as Jacob.

If you have a sister, God made her father the primary protector of her virginity, but, He made you, as her brother, her dad's assistant. Notice two things, one, Shechem didn't force or rape Dinah, and two Dinah's brothers didn't hesitate, they didn't rationalize or try to justify what Dinah and Shechem had done, they went and avenged their sister's virginity by killing the man who had defiled her and not just him, but every male associated with him over 8 days old.

You want to put an end to the corrupt permissive aids ridden society we live in? Abide by God's rules and help your dad protect your sister's virginity. You may never get a citizen of the year award by clinton and his ilk, but you may just hear these words one day. "Well done good and faithful servant." The Lord JESUS, the Messiah be with you all.

No, it's not cute, it is IDIOLATRY!

Well the Christ haters at ABC are at it again, seems that their new motto is, "Give the suckers a little truth and a whole bunch of heathen dishonesty". It seems that ABC is following the lead of the pope. The pope goes to Israel, climbs up on the stage, turns around and kisses the feet of a man made statue of some ones idea of what God looked like on the cross. No folks, that's not reverence, it is IDIOLATRY and it is prohibited!

So out comes ABC with a cartoon fable about Jesus, for Easter, designed to get the little ones, mom and dad just rolling in the isle I would guess. ABC's blasphemy was supposed to have a bit of fact in it but their story itself is built around a lie, a supposed miracle that never happened. As if the Lord had not done enough miracles, ABC, has to invent one. Folks, it is called idiolatry!
