George Bush isn't so bad after all. Friday August 16th, 2002
Well it is starting to appear that George Bush the second is not as much like his dad as I had first feared. His dad added gun ownership restrictions, this President Bush, through his Attorney General and Solicitor General have, rightfully, rul ed that Article Two of the Bill of Rights (A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.) is an individual right, not a corporate right. While the bureaucrats at the state level are still throwing road blocks in our way, we now have reason to belief that if we appeal, based upon Constitutional grounds, all the way to the US Supreme Court, we would win. And, as a matter of fact, I and a few others, are laying the ground work to do just that, through, what we think will be a forced 80C action here in Maine.
But, back to the President. A quick check of the news and the porno sites, shows that the prosecutions coming out of the Justice department against pornographers and pornography web sites is taking it's toll. Just about every pornographic web site is now insisting that one get a password to visit their pornography. And it seems the only way one can get a password is by giving the pornographer a valid credit card number to verify age. Guess what, junior uses your card, you see it as a no charge, if the pornographer is to be trusted, on your next statement. Parents and wives are making frequent calls to their credit card holders wanting to know what this no charge to an obvious smut company is. The kids and husbands are starting to know this and as a result are refusing to give any credit card info and as a result, are not able to view pornography as easily and readily as they were during the clinton/reno baal worshiping years.
The President has signed legislation giving any baby who takes his or her first breath outside the womb, full Constitutional rights to life. This, while seemingly to be a small step, is in fact a huge step towards ending abortion. Let me give you a little insight into why I say that. Now that a baby who was meant to be aborted, but was born alive, has full Constitutional protection to Life, it means that any person can use what ever force, including deadly force, to prevent anyone from killing that baby. But, you ask, who will be in the abortion mill slaughter room to defend this baby? Well, I would remind you that abortion mills have been infiltrated in the past, the Lord has given some men and women the strength to be in those halls of satan to get info, pictures, and videos of abortions and verification of the selling of body parts, the use of life babies for experimentation, and the leaving of life born babies to slow death in cold metal trays. Jesus will give others the strength to be in there to protect babies. Won't be long before the cowards who do abortions realize that doing abortions can cause them serious harm if the try to leave a baby to die, or try to cut up a baby after he or she has taken her first breath.
The President has also stopped the funding of abortions with US Tax dollars by the UN. And now, God willing, he is prepared to sign into law, a full ban on partial birth abortions. As soon as you and I force the US Senate to act and approve the House version.
So, yes, George Bush the second is not as much like his dad as I and many others feared. But, we must not let him down, we must continue to pray individually and corporately for him.
Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: (1 Samuel 12:23)
Let us not sin against the Lord, let us pray for each other and the president Bush.
