Next to the last for a while...

Well, today was going to be the last thought till the end of July, but, the more I pondered my wife's Father's Day gift, the more I wanted to let you guys see it. Cause, it really made me feel good, as a matter of fact, better than good.

Before I put up her gift to me, I want to ask you guys to pray for safety for Mac, my proof reader. Mac will be gone for the next forty days or so, he has gone to an army reunion and will be rubbing shoulders with an awful lot of unsaved heathens. I ask you to pray for his safety and Spiritual strength.

Now, without further ado, Cec's Father's Day gift to me:

FATHER'S DAY

F is for the faith we have in God:

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (Ephesians 6:16)

F is for the fun we have together.

A is for the adversity that we endured with God's help:

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10)

A is for Andrew, Sean, and Daniel, who have taught us how precious children are.

T is for my tongue, which I need to contain!

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. (Proverbs 21:23)

T is for the time God gave us to believe on Him.

H is for Heaven where we will spend eternity:

And He carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (Revelation 21:1)

H is for the husband who is so very special to me.

E is for the Everlasting whose arms hold us up:

Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: (Isaiah 26:4)

E is for the enrichment that you add to my life.

R is for riches not of this world :

That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7)

R is for Reverend Celeste - you're the best!

S is for the Son who came to Earth for us:

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

S is for your singing voice at church each week!

D is for deny:

And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. (Luke 9:23)

D is for the daily support and love you give me.

A is for the angel that appeared before the shepherds:

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)

A is for the awesome man you are!

Y is for yoke:

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28 - 30)

Y is for all the "yokes" you tell over and over because I always forget them!

For those of you have wives that are saved, you know how wonderful it is, I praise God for Cec and for all the wives of Christian men who are Saved. Thanks Poo.

I am getting ready to leave for Kentucky again, I could use some Bibles, please, if you can spare a ten dollars or so, go to your local Wal-Mart and get a ten dollar gift card and send it to me before next monday. I have found they have the best prices on the KJV and there is one on every corner.

Thanks,

Bob

By faith ...

Let us talk about faith. Far to many of us are putting our faith in the wrong things, we put our faith in men instead of God.

During the Vietnam war, our leaders, politicians and generals no longer experimented with turning their backs on the troops, they had done enough experimenting in WW2 and Korea, for by the time we entered Nam, they had it down to a fine art.

Small approved narrow air corridors to attack the North, smaller air and bomb corridors to bomb the Ho Chi Minh Trail, those bombers could not stray no more than 100 yards to either side of the trail to drop their bombs.

During the last thirteen years we have seen wars fought and military action taken that makes us wonder, we have to wonder at times if we attack for no other reason than to get the president or some other high mucky muck off the front pages for one scandal or another.

Yet, still we follow man instead of God, still we look for and put our faith in the promises of man to make this life better than having faith in God.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon!

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you?

O ye of little faith. Take no thought, saying, 'What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?' (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:24-34)

Let us take a closer look at Faith:

Hebrews Chapter Eleven

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, 'That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:' 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received Him in a figure. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. 24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest He that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Many would have you put your faith in salvation, not in the Lord Jesus, but in things, in praying to saints and others, in treating things and men as equals with God, yet, let us look at the Ten Commandments and see what God has to say about worshiping or praying to any other than HIM. (Hebrews 11: ACP/KJV)

Let us look a bit more at faith:

Acts Chapter Six

1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians (all non Hebrews) against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, "It is not reason(good and proper) that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables(do non preaching stuff). 3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you(find) seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business(appoint as elders). 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: 6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. 9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. 11 Then they suborned (bribed or bought) men, which said, "We have heard him (Stephen) speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, 13 and set up false witnesses, which said, "This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: 14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us."

15 And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Acts Chapter Seven

1 Then said the high priest, "Are these things so?" 2 And he (Stephen) said,

"Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3 And said unto him, GET THEE OUT OF THY COUNTRY, AND FROM THY KINDRED, AND COME INTO THE LAND WHICH I SHALL SHEW THEE. (Genesis 12:1)

4 Then came he (Abraham) out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, He (God) removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell. 5 And He gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet He promised that He would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he (Abraham) had no child.

6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years. 7 AND THE NATION TO WHOM THEY SHALL BE IN BONDAGE WILL I JUDGE, SAID GOD: AND AFTER THAT SHALL THEY COME FORTH, AND SERVE ME IN THIS PLACE.

8 And He gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10 and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he (Pharaoh) made him (Joseph) governor over Egypt and all his house.

11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance. 12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. 13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh. 14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers, 16 and (Jacob) were (was) carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem. 17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, 18 till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. 19 The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live. 20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father's house three months:

21 And when he (Moses) was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son. 22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. 23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel. 24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian: 25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them:

but they understood not. 26 And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, "Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?" 27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, "Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?"

29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons. 30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. 31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, 32 saying: I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground. 34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of My people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt. 35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, "Who made thee a ruler and a judge?" the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel (Jesus) which appeared to him in the bush. 36 He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A PROPHET SHALL THE LORD YOUR GOD RAISE UP UNTO YOU OF YOUR BRETHREN, LIKE UNTO ME; HIM SHALL YE HEAR. (See Deuteronomy 18:15-18)

38 This is He (Jesus), that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: 39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust Him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt, 40 saying unto Aaron, "Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot (know) not what is become of him."

41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O YE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, HAVE YE OFFERED TO ME SLAIN BEASTS AND SACRIFICES BY THE SPACE OF FORTY YEARS IN THE WILDERNESS? (Deuteronomy 17:3) 43 YEA, YE TOOK UP THE TABERNACLE OF MOLOCH, AND THE STAR OF YOUR GOD REMPHAN, FIGURES WHICH YE MADE TO WORSHIP THEM: AND I WILL CARRY YOU AWAY BEYOND BABYLON. (Jeremiah 25:9-12)

44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. 45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David; 46 Who found favor before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built him an house.

48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL: WHAT HOUSE WILL YE BUILD ME? SAITH THE LORD: OR WHAT IS THE PLACE OF MY REST? (Isaiah 661-2) 50 HATH NOT MY HAND MADE ALL THESE THINGS?(Psalm 102:25)

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it."

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 and cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And as they stoned Stephen, Stephen calling upon God, and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Acts Chapter Eight

1 And Saul was consenting unto his(Stephens) death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. (But) 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committing them to prison. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them. And many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: (and) 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man has the great power of God. 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

12 But when they believed Philip's preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then (they, John and Peter) laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, "Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost." 20 But Peter said unto him, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity."

24 Then answered Simon, and said, "Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me."

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans. 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28 was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, 'Understandest thou what thou readest?" 31 And he (the eunuch) said, "How can I, except some man should guide me?" And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, HE WAS LED AS A SHEEP TO THE SLAUGHTER; AND LIKE A LAMB DUMB BEFORE HIS SHEARER, SO OPENED HE NOT HIS MOUTH: 33 IN HIS HUMILIATION HIS JUDGMENT WAS TAKEN AWAY: AND WHO SHALL DECLARE HIS GENERATION? FOR HIS LIFE IS TAKEN FROM THE EARTH. (Isaiah 53:7-8)

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, "I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?" 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, "See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?" 37 And Philip said, "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Acts Chapter Nine

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way (followers of Christ), whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?

5 And he said, "Who art thou, Lord?" And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, "Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?" And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. 8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. 10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, "Behold, I am here, Lord." 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

13 Then Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to Thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on Thy name." 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake.

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost." (Acts 6:1 thru 9:17 ACP/KJV)

Did you see how much faith this man Ananias must have had? Think about this Saul for a moment, he was known throughout the Christian world and by every Christian as a man who took delight in persecuting the Christians. Yet Ananias had faith in God so he obeyed God and then God changed Saul the persecutor into Paul the Apostle.

There are just a few more things I want to touch on before closing, first is found in the book of Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: and in 2 Corinthians 10:10 we read For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. And in the Book of Revelation 20: 11-15, the Apostle John tells us: And I saw a great white throne, and Him, Jesus, that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now, how does one make sure that their name is in the book of life? How does one insure that one is going to spend eternity in heaven with the Lord and not in the lake of fire with satan?

The Lord Jesus has made it very clear, He has told us exactly what one must do. He has not hedged, He has not spoken in parables or in a confusing way, He has made it clear, simple and absolutely mandatory. For He tells us that any who are not found in His Book of Life, will not only not go to heaven, the will spend all eternity in the lake of fire. And just how do we get into the Lord Jesus' Book of Life?

John Chapter Three

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him." 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, "How can these things be?" 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

34 For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:1-21 & 34-36 ACP/KJV)

So, how does one get into the Lord's Book of Life? Simply but giving oneself to the Lord, making Jesus the Lord and Master of your life, by going to Him in private prayer and confessing to Him that you are a sinner, and then asking Him to forgive your sins and to take control of your life. If you do that and you are serious, then your name is instantly entered into the Book of Life, no purgatory, no pain, no suffering, simply a new person in Jesus, a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Jesus, Christian.

Do any of you have any questions?

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with and hear you all, may He bless you this Fathers day, helping you to remember that He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Fathers, fear not to go to the Father in prayer, thanking Him for the children He has entrusted to you and asking His help in raising them.

God please bless all that read this,

amen.

If thou believest with all thine heart ...

Well, yesterday was primary day in Maine, and of all the candidates, both Republican and Democrat, the only one who ran as a pro-life candidate that won, was a democrat, Mike Michud. Both Wendell Scripner and Starvos Mendros lost, but, it was not them who where the big losers, the biggest losers in yesterday's primary were the baby in the womb and the Republican Party. Every last one of the Republican candidates are Republicans of the Susan Collins bent. They are pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-leftist. The winning republican candidate for governor brags about being pro-choice, which is nothing but pro-abortion or pro-kill the baby in the womb.

In the November general elections, there will be a pro-life candidate running for congress, a Democrat, there will be a pro-life candidate running for governor, an independent by the name of John Michael. How long before we stop putting our blind allegiance in the Republican Party and start looking to Christ? How long before we stop supporting the baby killing scum of the Republican Party and start supporting independent men who believe that the baby in the womb is to be loved, not slaughtered and sold for parts? Back 1960 years ago, Candice the Queen of Ethiopia had it right, better to have a God fearing eunuch as the head of her treasury than a baby killing Republican. George Bush has been president for sixteen months now and the most horrendous of all slaughters, partial birth abortion continues unabated and more heavily funded.

(Acts 8:1-40 ACP/KJV)

Gentlemen, I have lost my share of races, let me ask you to ask God to comfort both Starvos and Wendell, their families and those who worked to get them elected. It hurts to loose, it hurts to go back and see who voted and who stayed home and find that many who you really thought would go and vote for you, stayed home. Ask the Lord to soften this blow to them and help them to focus on those who braved the rain to go and cast their votes. To focus on the many that voted for them, not those who voted against them. As an evangelist, I have come to realize that the no's don't count. It is only those who pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the Lord that matter.

And let us come to realize that the Republicans like the main stream Democrats have abandoned us, Christ, the baby in the womb, honor, integrity and the desire to preserve this nation and it's Republican form of government. Let us start to realize that we must start to work to restore those things lost and abandoned by the republicans by forming a third party, a party that is pro-Christ, pro-life and pro-constitutional rights.

Lord I would ask You to see and help Starvos and Wendell through this time. That Lord you will also be with their families, staffs, friends and clergy. And Lord I would ask you to be with the surgeon working on Joel today and with Tim as he starts to recover. Lord, blessed creator of all things, I would ask that you would be the Father to my children that I was not, that You would be with and care for the babies in Theresa's and Kirsten's wombs, leading the baby and the mom to You.

In the Sacred name of Yeshua I pray to the Father Yahweh.

Amen.

Election day, please, please, do not forget to go vote. And please pray for Tim, a young man who, while working on a car, got trapped under it when it fell on him. Real serious condition, salvation first and then for health.
And Joel Bouchard, going into Mercy hospital tonight. Solid Christian pray for sucessful surgery and peace for him and his wife Susan.

Monday & Tuesday June 10th & 11th, 2002

Starvos Mendros in his own words.

Please support Starvos Mendros and Wendell Scribner on 6-11-2002
In the words of President Ronald Reagan, “The assault on traditional American values has gone on far too long. It’s time we stand up and say enough is enough.”

My name is Stavros Mendros and I’m a candidate for U.S. congress in Maine’s 2nd congressional district. In 1998, I was elected to the Maine House of Representatives, unseating an entrenched incumbent who sat on the Appropriations Committee. I was the first Republican to the House in this heavily dominated Democratic area of Lewiston since 1902. Lewiston is the largest city in the Congressional district with only a 16% Republican voting population. In 2000, I was outspent 2 to 1 and beat back a tough Democratic challenge, winning with almost 60% of the vote surprising many of the political pundits.

I have a 100% pro-life voting record. That's why I've been endorsed by the Maine Right to Life Committee and the National Right to Life Committee.

Women have been betrayed by abortion advocates. Continued support of abortion as the solution to unplanned pregnancies perpetuates the misconception that women have to choose between their child and their career, or their child and their education, or their child and their current life. No woman wants to have an abortion. That's why we need to offer women real solutions to unplanned pregnancies- equal pay, flex time and job sharing, comprehensive health care, maternity benefits and parental leave, affordable, quality childcare, shared parental responsibility, and child support. No woman should be driven to the personal tragedy of abortion because politicians are too lazy to fight for real solutions to unplanned pregnancies. American women are strong enough, courageous enough, and generous enough to face an unplanned pregnancy- and to be authentic heroines to their unborn children. I know life starts at conception. If I am not willing to stand up and defend that life.

I have a perfect record in the Maine Legislature of supporting the right of Mainers to keep and bear arms. I strongly believe in our constitution and I am a firm upholder or our second amendment rights. Because of this, I have been endorsed by Gun Owners of America. I have an A+ rating with the NRA and an A rating with Sportsmen’s Alliance of Maine. I believe the greatest gift that we can give our children is not health care or education, but the gift our founding fathers gave to us...freedom.

America is the greatest nation on Earth. Built on freedom, liberty, and an understanding that our future depends on remaining “one nation under God.”

In the words of Edmund Burke, “Evil thrives when good men do nothing.”

I would like to be your Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in November’s election.

I ask for your vote on Tuesday, June 11th.

Thank you,
Starvos Mendros

Weekend of June 8th & 9th of June, 2002

Not as important, but...

Starvos Mendros and Wendell Scribner on 6-11-2002

Gentlemen, today we are going back to look at Acts Chapter Six. The reason we are going back is because this is the weekend before the primary elections here in Maine. And while the elections of men to public office is not as important as the selection of elders for the Church, it comes close and there is no reason we should not use the same guidelines for both positions.

Before we do, there are two Republican names I want to bring to your attention. For those of you voting in the second congressional district, the district now in the hands of one of the worst examples of a member of congress, John Elias Baldacci. In the second, the choice is clear and simple, Starvos Medros. For those of you living in the towns of Bridgton, Harrison, Lovell, Sweden and Denmark, the choice here is simple as well, Wendell Scribner for State Rep.

(Acts 6: ACP/KJV)

Now, why am I saying Wendell Scribner for the Maine house and Starvos Mendros for the Second Congressional district? Both Starvos and Wendell are absolutely Pro- Life, both are Pro-Second Amendment and both support homeshooling.

Starvos Mendros has been endorsed, not only by me, but by the State and National Right to Life Commitees, he has been endorsed by GOA, the Gun owners of America. And has a A+ rating with the NRA. I have watched Starvos voting record for many a year and find that the way he voted as a State Rep is identical to the way I would have voted. As far as I am concerned, the choice is clear in the second, STARVOS MENDROS!

For the State Rep seat being vacated by Paul Waterhouse, the choice is also clear, Wenedl Scribner. Wendell is a land owner that makes his living cutting trees, he and his wife HomeSchool their four kids, one son and three daughters. Wendell and I have spent many an afternnooon reading the Bible and praying and I account him as one of my prayer partners. Wendell is A Borna Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian and solid as a rock. There will be no twisting the Word of God in front of the committees Wendell is appointed to, for he is well grounded and well studied in God's word, the Holy Bible.

Guys, you need to get up, go to the polls on Tuesday June 11th, bring your wife and any in you family old enough to cast a vote, and vote for these guys. And while you are there, vote against all of the bond issues.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you all and let me ask you to keep these two men in your prayers. For it is men like this that we need representing us for they are like us.

Amen.

Two cults, one purpose.

Worldwide and in this nation, we have two cults whose sole intent seems to be to rid the earth of Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. The two cults are the Roman Catholic Church and the Muslims. Between the two of them, they outnumber us greatly.

Like the Roman Catholic church, the Muslims have since their inception been on the war path against real Christians and Jews, their sole intent for living seems to be the eradication of both. I bring this point up for a number of reasons, but only one of which will I go into here today. And that reason is to make you aware of how much alike they are and how easy it is for either or both to take over the government of these United States.

Let us start by looking at their respective hates of Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. To understand the RC's hate of us, read Foxes book of Martyrs. For an understanding of the Muslim hatred for us, read the magazine Voice of the Martyrs, you can find a link to it on the churches link page. I am sure you are all familiar with the Muslim hatred for the Jews, but did you know that before the Muslims came the RC's to destroy them? Read politically incorrect history of the 1500's thru the 1900's in RC dominated European nations.

Now, around the turning from the 19th to the 20th century here in the USA, the RC's went from being under 1% to over 28% of the population, the Muslims went from being 0% to around 10% or so. Both did it the same ways, by bringing their people here as immigrants, by demanding that they use no contraception, that they oppose abortion for their own people, and that they force those wanting to intermarry to convert. As you look at the two religions, once you understand that the RC's do not worship Christ, but instead honor and really worship the teachings and preaching of the various popes, you will see and understand that the RC's and the Muslims are very much alike. You will come to see that the RC's have a lot more in common with the Muslims than they do the true Church of Christ. Add to these two cults the ever growing number of so called Christian main stream denominations that are denying the very basics of true Christianity, and you have one very large group. A group drooling at the mouth to attack Israel and align themselves with the oil producing nations of the Muslims.

Talk to a RC priest without letting him know who you are and in short order you will find that he has no love or use for those who study and wish to live by the teachings of the Word of God and the Bible. Talk to a Muslim Cleric and you will find the same thing. Now when you approach a liberal so called Christian preacher, you will find that same hatred. The liberal protestant will be a little more condescending, but as you talk to him or her and ask questions, you will find that if you rely upon the word of God, the Holy Bible, he or she will tend to look down his nose at you with a remark such as "you don't understand" or "have you ever studied the writing in the original Greek and Hebrew?"

Why am I bringing this up? Because I want you to be prepared for the times that are coming. I want you to be prepared to have to get politically involved in order to keep this nation on the side of Israel and not the side of the ungodly arabs. I want you to realize that the enemies of the true Church and the Israelites is not just the arabs, but includes the RC's, the leftist denominations and the liberal jews. I want you to understand that we are in for some very tough times over the next few years. And mostly I want you to understand this; if the two main cults join political forces, they will control the political apparatus in this country and they will come after us.

Gentlemen, we need revival in the country, we need the Lord to wake up the pulpit and we need the true believers in this nation to understand that we are on very thin ice. Understand this, all those who are not Born again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians are going to hell, they all serve the god of this world, satan. Oh yes they serve him under various names, but the bottom line is this, they all serve, worship, and belong to satan. Only we who are Christ' stand alone.

I want you to study two verses of Scripture with me today, just two.

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3) quote unquote, God the Father.

He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) quote unquote, God the Son.

With that in mind, we are going to add one more thing to your prayer list, and one more bit of work for your evangelical outreaching, pray for the Jew, that he will stop being a false jew and will start being a true jew by reading the Scriptures and seeking the Messiah. For you see the false jew, the one who ignores Scripture and instead relies on commentary and the teachings of the rabbi is going to spend all eternity with the rest of the Christ denying satan worshiping lake of fire dammed souls.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you and strengthen you.

Amen.

And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Well, it seems that more than a few of you joined with me in fasting yesterday. In a fast of this sort, we, for a day, put ourselves in the position of ones having nothing but water and bread to eat. Or rice and water, or beans and water. Now as most of you know, it felt good. It was nice to give up something for the Lord. Those of you who fasted yesterday, can now start to understand why Stephen could, as they stoned him, look up to God and say: "And as they stoned Stephen, Stephen calling upon God, and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.' And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, 'Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.' And when he had said this, he fell asleep." While being stoned, Stephen could just fall asleep.

You see, when you suffer for yourself, you feel no sense of gratitude or peace, yet when you suffer for another, you get some sense of peace, but when you suffer for the Lord, you feel joy, such joy that you can forgive your enemies and even fall asleep while being tortured.

Now, as you might remember from Acts Six, Stephen had been arrested and was now being held in court in front of the high mucky mucks of the Jewish council:

15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel. (Acts 6:8-15 ACP/KJV)

And now without further ado, let us go to Acts Chapter Seven

1 Then said the high priest, "Are these things so?" 2 And he (Stephen) said,

"Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3 And said unto him, GET THEE OUT OF THY COUNTRY, AND FROM THY KINDRED, AND COME INTO THE LAND WHICH I SHALL SHEW THEE. (Genesis 12:1)

4 Then came he (Abraham) out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father(Terah) was dead, He (God) removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

(Acts 7: ACP/KJV)

Isn't it wonderful how when you sacrifice for the Lord, He makes you comfortable and not miserable. How comfortable are you when you sacrifice for the government? Yet, as you saw yesterday, fasting and becoming uncomfortable for the Lord, leaves you not feeling miserable, but content. As you fasted and asked the Lord to help you understand what your cross is, has He begun to answer you? Do you realize that by your not being uncomfortable, but instead finding both peace and contentment, that He is answering you.

You see, as you gave up something yesterday and lived on just bread and water, you found that the peace you had was not like the hollow peace you have after a big meal, it is the peace that comes from serving the Lord. Want to serve Him a bit more? I'm not going to rush you, but if you would like to take the next baby step, try this:

With your next one day fast, do this: Instead of giving the food you would have had on the fast day, figure out the cost of the meals you are giving up, probably around $19.00 or so. Tuck it into a KJV Bible and deliver the money and the Bible to the one who you know to be less fortunate than yourself. Just put the money in the Bible, go to their door, knock on it and when they come to the door, say: "I would like you to have this". And give it to them, and as you leave, say: "The Lord be with you and yours." Now, you can not send a servant to do this, you must do it yourself.

If they ask you then or later why or what you are doing, simply tell them the truth. Say, "I am doing a one day fast for the Lord, I am giving up the meals I would have had to be more like the Lord Jesus. I am, instead of eating fancy meals myself, serving Him by giving both the money I would have used for todays meals and God's word, this KJV Bible, to you. I hope and it is my prayer, that you will find the peace in receiving this gift that I do in giving it to you."

The Lord be with you all and may He continue to bless you for trying to be a little more like Him and trying a little harder to understand what it is He would have you to do. And please continue to pray daily for the knowledge, understanding and strength to carry your cross and for serious revival in the pulpits of the churches of the USA.

And may our Lord, Messiah Yeshua, hear your prayers and mine. May He strengthen those Evangelical Christians in Israel who bring His word to the children of Israel, so that they will not spend eternity with the radical muslim homicide bombers who carry out their trade in the name of satan, calling him allah.

Amen.

Another Question

Today I am going to ask you a question, a question whose answer is between you and the Lord, not you and me. For I would have no way of knowing if your answer is truthful or not, but, the Lord knowing all things will know if you are being honest in your answer to yourself and Him.

Who do you belong to? Are you Christ' or are you satan's? Now before you try and answer that, you need to look at some Scripture.

First; it is absolutely important and necessary for you to truly understand that you can not belong to nor serve both at the same time. You can not be the Lord's while doing satan's beckoning. So let us start by reading Matthew 6:24 again.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon!

Do you understand that? do you really understand that you can not serve satan and Yeshua at the same time? Let me, using Scripture make it clearer.

And when Jesus had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (Mark 8:34) Ok, Jesus said: "Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Do you understand that? Do you understand what the Lord is saying? What He is saying is this, if you are His, you will deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him. Do you know what your cross is? Do you understand what He wants you to do? Your cross is the chore that the Lord has for you to do. What is it? Are you denying yourself anything? Have you ever decided to fast for one day, and on that day, think of what you would have had for meals prepare that food and give it to the poor, or someone you know in need. And then during that twenty four hours have nothing but bread and water, thanking the Lord for the opportunity to suffer a little and to be of service to one more needy. During that fast, ask the Lord what it is that He would have you to do. Ask Him what your cross is.

But, understand this, your cross is every bit as difficult as His was;

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake,

for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake:

But he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have called the Master of the house beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household? (Matthew 10:16-25) Have you been scourged for the Lord's sake? Have you had to leave one city and go to another for the Lord's sake? Have you relied upon the Holy Spirit to tell you what to say? Do you understand that you are not above the Lord, but His servant? Do you understand that as His servant, if you really are His servant, you are to do the things He commanded and that these things will cause you to be persecuted? Have you been persecuted?

If you are a disciple of the Lord's than you will understand what Paul is saying in these next few verses, you will understand because you are being persecuted. If you belong to satan, you will not understand because you are not being persecuted.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. (Philippians 1:21-24)

Is your life here on earth so comfortable that you hate the thought of dying and leaving it? Or are you looking forward to death of this body and life with the King? If you suddenly had a heart attack, and on the way to the hospitals you were awake and the ambulance attendant said to you "are you afraid of death?" what would you say?

What suffering have you done for the Lord? Bear in mind, He has said that our suffering will be worse than His. Have you made this world your home? Have you forsaken the kingdom of God to be a resident of this earth? Have you gone to jail for Christ? I do not mean to visit a prisoner, I mean as a prisoner? Does your doctor do abortions? Why don't you know? Have you never asked him or her? Look around your work place, does everyone there know that you are a Born Again Washed in the BLOOD of the Lamb Christian? If not, you probably aren't.

Does your preacher consider you a challenge? By that I mean does he, if it is a she ignore this question and go find a real church. But does he find your questions and your conversations with him challenging? Do you know the word of God so well that your questions are more than superficial? Or is your bible so covered with dust that if you picked it up and blew it off, you would be in danger of starting the next dust bowl? Do you wonder when, not if, the federal secret police will come and get you? Not for crimes you committed, but for the crime of preaching Gods truths.

If, at this time, you can not truthfully say you are Christ, than we need to wonder why. Part of the reason is you, you and your slothfulness, your being to lazy to seek out God and His cross for you. The other reason is the pulpit. We have church after so called church where the pulpit is more afraid of the government and it's tax status than it is of Christ. We need revival in this country and we need it bad and it must start in the pulpits. And you are going to play a major part in that revival! First, go to the store and buy one loaf of three day old bread, the cheaper the better and then fill a 1 gallon jug with drinking water, I am not talking about designer water, I'm talking about tap water.

Second, go home and find out what you would have for meals over the twenty four hour period starting at 6:am tomorrow morning. Then take that food, put it in a package and tomorrow, while you are fasting, bring it to one you know of who is less fortunate than you.

Third, starting at 6:AM tomorrow morning, start praying, start by reading two chapters of your Bible, John three and John ten. Thank the Lord for this opportunity to fast, help the poor and come to Him, ask Him to help you bear your cross and what your cross is, and beg Him to cause a revival in the pulpits to take place right here in the USA right now. Tell Him you are sorry you have been so content with this life here on this place you are only visiting. Ask Him what you can do. But understand, if you seriously ask Him, He will answer you and expect you to do it.

If you belong to Christ and not satan, your every desire is to serve Christ and fight satan. You know as well as I that this nation needs a cleansing of the pulpits. And you know that you are not doing enough. If you now realize that you are not Christ', but are satan's, you need not stay that way. As long as you have a breath left, you can be His, you can be Saved, but what you can not do is procrastinate.

As for me? Well I will be on bread and water tomorrow, and the meals I would have had, well, they will grace the table of one less fortunate than I. Will you join me?

Let me close with these words of the Lord:

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:16-21)

The Lord be with you all, and may all of you one day be His.

Amen.

Monday June 3rd, 2002

Well, one more day and then back to Acts,

maybe.

Today, I would like to give you a bit of Scripture to think about. Let us start with the fact that you are either Gods or satan's, as is everyone, for no man, woman or child can belong to both.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon! (Matthew 6:24)

Matthew 6:24 tells us very clearly that you can not ride the fence, you can not claim to be Christ', while serving the god of this world, satan. Granted most of the men and girls in the Military are not Christians and never claimed to be, but, the Commander in Chief, George Bush the Second, has claimed to be a Christian. Yet, do his actions indicate such?

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Matthew 7:1&2)

In Matthew 7:1&2, we see the Lord telling us either not to judge at all or, if we are to judge, judge by the same standards that you would wish to be judged by yourself. Am I being to harsh in my judgement of the current administration and the US Military over the last 12 years? I don't think so, I would have no problem being judged as a coward if I stood by with 19 other men who were trained and armed and did absolutely nothing to stop the slaughter, but instead listened to the screams of 80 plus men women and children from pain as they were gassed and incinerated. I would have no problem being judged a communist and a liar when after taking and oath on televison to uphold and defend the Constitution of these United States, I instead defecated on it. After promising to end partial birth abortion, instead stood by and increased the funding for those who commit this horrendous crime. Not, in neither case would I have a problem being judged dishonorable.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.

Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord", shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?" And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:15-27)

Now, using the above Scripture and any other you would like, being honest with no speculation, but only the truth and facts, take the space below and list the fruits of the military and the administration over the last 13 years and 5 months. Then tell yourself who they serve. For to pray for revival in this country, to pray for the president and his administration, the military and the courts, we must first know what we are praying for. I think that once you face up to how bad the last 60 plus years have been, and how with each year things have become more and more corrupt, you will see the importance of praying for our country and those we have put in positions of trust. To do that, you first must face up to what we have become.

The Lord be with you all and may you be so honest with yourself that your voice will join with mine in beseeching the Lord our God for true and plentiful revival in our country, starting with the pulpit. For the reason our nation has slide into it's current state is not on the shoulders of the corrupt office holders and the 20 men of Delta Company who stood by and watched or maybe took part in the slaughter of the Branch Davidians at Mount Carmel on April 19th, 1993, it rest squarely on the shoulders of those weak kneed cowards behind the pulpit. Let us first pray the Lord to restore our pulpits with men who fear Him, men who serve Him, men who put Him first and care not for the things of this earth. When was the last time your preacher preached hell and damnation? Has he ever painted a picture of heaven or hell? Has he ever preached salvation and the plan thereof? is he afraid of losing his 501c3 status? Revival must start in the pulpits and that will only happen when you men put your voices together and beseech the lord our God for revival and a cleansing of His church.

The Lord our God, Creator of all things, Messiah Yeshua, be with you.

Amen.

Weekend of June 1st and 2nd, 2002

Who last had honor?

We think of those men who fought in the revolutionary war as honorable, we think of those men who fought on the side of the confederacy as honorable, yet we do not have those same feelings for the men who fought on the side of the Union.

Why? Why is it that in US militaries past and present we think of some as honorable and some as dishonorable? The answer is really quite simple when you think about it. What made those men who fought against tyranny and for freedom under the leadership of George Washington honorable was the simple fact that George Washington was honorable. What made those men who fought to keep States Rights honorable was the leadership of General Robert E. Lee, for General Lee, like General Washington was an honorable man. The Union Generals had no such reputation.

Now think to yourself, what makes a man honorable? What traits does it take in a man for us to consider him honorable? Well one of those traits would be honesty. George Washington and Robert E. Lee shared a reputation of being men who were honest. Not simply honest in there speech, but in their very lives as well. Are there any out there that would consider Presidents Bush, Bush, Clinton, Carter, Regan, Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Truman or any other of the last 25 presidents honest?

If the leader is not honest, than he is not honorable, if he is considered dishonorable, how can we consider those who follow him, those who place him above their own lives honorable? No, you can not consider our military today honorable for we can not and should not trust even one word out of the presidents mouth, for our last presidents have been liars, men of no honor, men whose word you can not trust. And if you can not trust the word of he who declares war and sends men and girls off to kill and be killed, than how can you consider those men and girls who go and kill for this liar to be honorable?

Jesus has warned us and told us of liars: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he (the devil) speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Those who lie are sons and daughters, not of Christ, but satan. Unless you consider satan to be honorable, how can you consider one who does what is of satan honorable? And when one follows the orders and kills for the ilk of satan how can you consider that person or persons honorable? Would you consider an abortionist honest or honorable? If you would not consider an abortionist honest or honorable, how could you consider those who kill on orders of a liar, to be honest or honorable? Is there anyone in our armed forces that thought of Clinton as an honest man? Yet, did they not wage war and kill following his orders? Are there any in todays military that really believe that Bush is any more honest than Clinton? Yet are they not killing in compliance with his orders?

Why do you expect your daughter to keep her legs closed when a man lies to her and tells her he loves her, yet you honor those who kill on the orders of a pathological liar? Your logic escapes me.

Why do you expect your son not to have a homosexual lover when the public school system, a majority of the pulpits, the media and the president tell him it is ok? Yet, you honor the men and girls in our armed forces that kill on orders of a pathological liar. You expect and demand the truth from your children and your wife, yet you embrace and honor liars in public office and those who kill for them. Your logic escapes me.

Monday we will be back in the book of Acts, till then, you need to really look inside yourself and see who it is that you worship. Is it Christ or is the republican party? Is it truth and Christ or satan and liars? You can not have it both ways, you can not go to church on Sunday, so as to impress the world with your devoutness towards Christ, and yet at the same time honor those who kill at the beck and call of pathological liars.

Get this straight, you either belong to Christ and truth or satan and liars. There is no grey, there is no half way, there is no fence to ride on. You are either a follower of the Lord God Creator of the earth and all things or you belong to satan.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon! (Matthew 6:24)

So, who do you honor, those who tell the truth or those who lie and kill, following the orders of liars?

As for me, I will neither follow nor honor the likes of Bush, Clinton and those who serve, honor and kill at their behest. You follow and honor whomever you choose.

The Lord grant you peace with your choice.

Amen.

Our Sacred Honor

Once upon a time, the US Miltary followed a man on his knees.

Over the last six days or so, we have been looking at the lack of honor within our public servants and military. In doing so, I have seen something that really bothers me, and that is how many of you have blind loyalty to the Republican party, the current president, the US military and various branches of it. Let me start by saying this; Your blind loyalty should be towards Christ and only towards Christ. Did Bill Clinton go up on the cross for you? Did George Bush allow himself to be scourged for you? Did the Commandant of the Marine Corps or any other public servant, member of the secret police forces or member of the Military carry a cross he would be nailed to for you? Is it by the name of Bush, Clinton, Regan or Eisenhower that you can be Saved?

Let me now ask you a question or two.

Who would you consider a hero, the man who can not swim yet jumps into the raging river to save a person from drowning or the 20 members of Delta Force that watched as the batf and fbi slaughtered those at Mount Carmel?

Who would you consider a hero; the unarmed man who jumped between the knife welding robber and the lady, or the 20 heavily armed members of Bravo Company Delta Force US Army who stood by and advised while batf and fbi agents poured CS gas into the home of the Branch Dravidians at Mount Carmel outside of Waco, Texas on April 19th, 1993?

Who would you consider a hero; the fireman who ran into tower number one, even as it was collapsing in an effort to save one more man, or the twenty brave members of the US Armies most elite forces as they stood by and watched the slaughter and incineration of men and women and children at Mount Carmel?

There is a man in Bridgton Maine, his name is Ovide, he owns a little car fix it up shop that also sells used cars. Ovide puts keeping ministers on the road, regardless of lose of profit, ahead of profit. He puts his honor and his duty to God ahead of making profit. So, who is the hero, the US Army Sargent and his 19 fellow members of Company B Delta Force US Army who stood by and watched this little girl go from this: to this: , or Ovide? Jesus said: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

In the law of man, there is a word called complicity, it is used to describe one is an accomplice to a crime even though that person did not actually do the crime. For those of you who still think the military is honorable, look up the word complicity. It has been nine years and still not one of the killers has been brought before the bar of justice and not one of those in the military have been charged. How can anyone in their right mind call a military and a government who by lies and deceit, cover ups and perjured testimony continue to protect those who did what was done on April 19th, 1993 at Mount Carmel, Texas.

Lest ye forget: Those who died at mount Carmel.

Oh Lord God Creator of all things help us to be a nation of men, of honorable and God fearing men once again. We know Lord that Thou does give to us the leadership that we deserve, the leadership that is most like us, but Lord I pray and beseech you, that You would soften Your heart towards us and give us a David. Lord rescue us from the leadership in the highest office that spawns and nurtures a military that will stand by and allow a mount Carmel to happen. Lord rescue us from the pathological liars the murders, liars, cheats and abortionist that now make up our government. I know Lord that Thou has reserved a few unto Yourself that have not bent the knee to baal, please Lord release them to free us now.

Yahweh, in the Precious Name of Yeshua I beseech Thee.

Amen.

"I was only following orders..."

Immediately after world war two, a trial for Nazi war criminals was set up in Nuernberg, Germany, the defense most used was: "I was only following orders" The US Army officers sitting on the panel of judges made it very clear that the defense "I was only following orders" was not a defense for the killing of defenseless civilians. Yet, on February 28th, 1993 elite elements of the United States Army joined with various secret police agencies, including the batf and fbi. The end results was the massacre at Mount Carmel outside of Waco, Texas.

As of this date, there have been no court-martials. It has been over nine years and not one those who violated their oath has been held accountable.

Congressman John Mica of Florida asked "Didn't their reports say that gas masks wouldn't fit on these babies!!?" He was told they did. Yet, members of the US Armies elite Delta Force attacked anyhow.

...
Congressman Sono Bono as he heard the description of how the children died from the effects of the CS gas, how it slowly and painfully killed them. Congressman Bono who swore that he would not rest till those responsible were held accountable, died under suspicious circumstances shortly after.

When the ATF asked the military for help in staging its initial raid of the compound on Feb. 28, 1993, military officers said the ATF would have to reimburse the Army for any assistance because there was "no known drug nexus," according to Lt. Col. Lon Walker, an Army liaison to the ATF.

Many of you are still upset over my refusal to honor the US Military. When the US Military acts honorably, I will treat them and honor them honorably. Those who harbor, shield, defend and honor those who did this, do not deserve honor, they deserve shame and disgrace. Let the blood of those little ones they killed be upon their heads. They have chosen to serve Clinton, Reno, Bush and each other. And I have chosen to honor those who served honorably, the brave Christian men who fought, died, and pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor for this country. Those who did like wise to protect states rights and those who went into burning and unstable towers on 9-11-2002, not to kill innocent US Citizens, but to save them.

The US Military today is not honorable, they are not heros, they like those they serve in Washington are not the defenders of this nation and it's constitution, but the destroyers of it. We can change things back. We have the votes and we have the US Constitution, the question is, who is your allegiance to? The nation or the policial parties? The nation or blind allegiance to the military?

And may God forgive this nation for what it has become.

Amen.

"I can't believe you forgot memorial Day

And I cannot get over how many of you wrote to say "I can't believe you forgot memorial Day". But, my brothers in the Lord, I did not forget Memorial Day. Did I not bring to mind the brave Christian men who put their honor, lives and fortunes on the line fighting to first free this nation and later, howbeit unsuccessfully, to continue it's heritage of States Rights? Did I not over the weekend bring to mind the poem of a little girl, being a little girl enthralled and worshiping the ground her hero dad walked on?

Ah, but you say, memorial day is about Soldiers, Marines and Sailors. And I would say to you, Nay, but about heroes. The fireman who died was a hero, those who fought to free this nation from the grip of tyranny were indeed heroes, as where the brave Christian men who risked all to fight for and die for the right of the States to remain free from the tyranny of a larger and more centralized federal government.

But, today's Soldiers, Marines and Sailors? No, I do not consider men who follow or send girls into combat heroes. I do not consider men who stand by as 1.7 million innocent little trapped babies are executed each year in the wombs of females in the USA, heroes. I do not consider the boys and girls of the various federal secret police agencies heroes, nay, but cowards. And I will have no part in honoring cowards on Memorial Day. Let the liars in the congress and the administration honor those who are most like them. For I will honor those who do not and did not hide behind girls, but instead left behind little girls that wear pretty dresses and worship the ground their dads walked on.

Let the likes of George Bush, Barney Frank, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Hillary Clinton honor those who make up the cowardly in service to this corrupt baby killing nation. Let the dishonorable give their 'honor' to the cowards in the secret police agencies and todays military, for I will not. And if that upsets you, then so be it.

No where in God's Word do men use women as soldiers, police or shields. No where in Gods Word do we find little girls with PMS ordering and leading men to battle. And I will have no part in honoring cowards, boys and children hiding in a uniform behind girls acting like boys.

Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. (Nehemiah 4:13)

Men do not hide behind girls, little boys and cowards do! Men leave behind wives and daughters as depicted in the poem over the weekend, not drunken man imitators like those who have occupied the white house over the last ten years.

The Lord God of Creation be with you all,

Amen.

We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor

In 1775, Christian man after Christian man, stood up and stated that he would pledge his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to the cause of ending tyranny and becoming a free nation.

In 1860, Christian man after Christian man stood up and pledged his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to the fight for states rights.

In 1775, those Christian men ultimately won and the nation known as the United States was born. In 1865, those Christian men lost and the states lost their individuality and the nation started it's slide towards socialism, communism and fascism under the name of democracy. Resulting in a nation that can best be described by God in the book of Isaiah.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

"Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. ..." (Isaiah 1:1-7 ACP/KJV)

The Lord gave us here in the USA, a wonderful land, He gave us a wonderful form of government, yet, we have forsaken Him. We have become a nation where sex is less formal than a handshake. Where a handshake used to be a binding contract, binding contracts written with words on paper are now worth less than dung. A nation that kills over one million seven hundred thousand of it's babies each year while they sleep peacefully in the supposed safety of there mothers wombs.

In 1775, about one thousand Christian men led the charge for freedom, it resulted in just about seventeen percent of the Christian men in the country dying for that freedom.

In 1860 a bit less than five hundred solid Christian gentlemen of the Southern states pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the cause of maintaining States rights. The forces of evil in the northern states corrupted and lied claiming that the fight was not about states rights, but the freedom of salves. Freeing those self same slaves that had been brought from Africa aboard slaves ships owned by northerners and sold as slaves to the men of the South. And those five hundred Christian men lost all they had, for many the lose included their lives, with them, over five hundred thousand of their brethren lost their lives as well. But, not their honor.

How many solid Christian men today would have to pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to end abortion?

Are there any solid Christian men today? How many even know what it means to be a Christian? How many realize that it is impossible to be both a Roman Catholic priest and be a Christian? How many realize that Roman Catholicism is a cult, an idol worshiping Christ denying cult?

The reason those Southern Christian men lost is the same reason we have abortion today, we have lost our course, we have turned from the word of God and the Word of God. We have become a bunch of feel good do gooders, men who do not even know what it means to be Christian men. Men who not only have no sacred honor, but have no honor. Men who would follow a political party rather than Christ.

How many of you carry a gun? Do you know when you would use it? Have you ever sat down and figured out just when you would draw it and use it? Under what set of circumstances you would use deadly force? For whom you would spill blood? For whom you would be wiling to risk your very own life? If not, why do you carry?

Yes it could easily be the Untied States God was thinking about when He said: I have nourished and brough
