Next to the last for a while...

Well, today was going to be the last thought till the end of July, but, the more I pondered my wife's Father's Day gift, the more I wanted to let you guys see it. Cause, it really made me feel good, as a matter of fact, better than good.

Before I put up her gift to me, I want to ask you guys to pray for safety for Mac, my proof reader. Mac will be gone for the next forty days or so, he has gone to an army reunion and will be rubbing shoulders with an awful lot of unsaved heathens. I ask you to pray for his safety and Spiritual strength.

Now, without further ado, Cec's Father's Day gift to me:

FATHER'S DAY

F is for the faith we have in God:

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (Ephesians 6:16)

F is for the fun we have together.

A is for the adversity that we endured with God's help:

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10)

A is for Andrew, Sean, and Daniel, who have taught us how precious children are.

T is for my tongue, which I need to contain!

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. (Proverbs 21:23)

T is for the time God gave us to believe on Him.

H is for Heaven where we will spend eternity:

And He carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (Revelation 21:1)

H is for the husband who is so very special to me.

E is for the Everlasting whose arms hold us up:

Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: (Isaiah 26:4)

E is for the enrichment that you add to my life.

R is for riches not of this world :

That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7)

R is for Reverend Celeste - you're the best!

S is for the Son who came to Earth for us:

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

S is for your singing voice at church each week!

D is for deny:

And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. (Luke 9:23)

D is for the daily support and love you give me.

A is for the angel that appeared before the shepherds:

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)

A is for the awesome man you are!

Y is for yoke:

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28 - 30)

Y is for all the "yokes" you tell over and over because I always forget them!

For those of you have wives that are saved, you know how wonderful it is, I praise God for Cec and for all the wives of Christian men who are Saved. Thanks Poo.

I am getting ready to leave for Kentucky again, I could use some Bibles, please, if you can spare a ten dollars or so, go to your local Wal-Mart and get a ten dollar gift card and send it to me before next monday. I have found they have the best prices on the KJV and there is one on every corner.

Thanks,

Bob

By faith ...

Let us talk about faith. Far to many of us are putting our faith in the wrong things, we put our faith in men instead of God.

During the Vietnam war, our leaders, politicians and generals no longer experimented with turning their backs on the troops, they had done enough experimenting in WW2 and Korea, for by the time we entered Nam, they had it down to a fine art.

Small approved narrow air corridors to attack the North, smaller air and bomb corridors to bomb the Ho Chi Minh Trail, those bombers could not stray no more than 100 yards to either side of the trail to drop their bombs.

During the last thirteen years we have seen wars fought and military action taken that makes us wonder, we have to wonder at times if we attack for no other reason than to get the president or some other high mucky muck off the front pages for one scandal or another.

Yet, still we follow man instead of God, still we look for and put our faith in the promises of man to make this life better than having faith in God.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon!

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you?

O ye of little faith. Take no thought, saying, 'What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?' (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:24-34)

Let us take a closer look at Faith:

Hebrews Chapter Eleven

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, 'That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:' 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received Him in a figure. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. 24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest He that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Many would have you put your faith in salvation, not in the Lord Jesus, but in things, in praying to saints and others, in treating things and men as equals with God, yet, let us look at the Ten Commandments and see what God has to say about worshiping or praying to any other than HIM. (Hebrews 11: ACP/KJV)

Let us look a bit more at faith:

Acts Chapter Six

1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians (all non Hebrews) against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, "It is not reason(good and proper) that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables(do non preaching stuff). 3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you(find) seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business(appoint as elders). 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: 6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. 9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. 11 Then they suborned (bribed or bought) men, which said, "We have heard him (Stephen) speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, 13 and set up false witnesses, which said, "This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: 14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us."

15 And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Acts Chapter Seven

1 Then said the high priest, "Are these things so?" 2 And he (Stephen) said,

"Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3 And said unto him, GET THEE OUT OF THY COUNTRY, AND FROM THY KINDRED, AND COME INTO THE LAND WHICH I SHALL SHEW THEE. (Genesis 12:1)

4 Then came he (Abraham) out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, He (God) removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell. 5 And He gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet He promised that He would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he (Abraham) had no child.

6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years. 7 AND THE NATION TO WHOM THEY SHALL BE IN BONDAGE WILL I JUDGE, SAID GOD: AND AFTER THAT SHALL THEY COME FORTH, AND SERVE ME IN THIS PLACE.

8 And He gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10 and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he (Pharaoh) made him (Joseph) governor over Egypt and all his house.

11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance. 12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. 13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh. 14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers, 16 and (Jacob) were (was) carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem. 17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, 18 till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. 19 The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live. 20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father's house three months:

21 And when he (Moses) was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son. 22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. 23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel. 24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian: 25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them:

but they understood not. 26 And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, "Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?" 27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, "Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?"

29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons. 30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. 31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, 32 saying: I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground. 34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of My people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt. 35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, "Who made thee a ruler and a judge?" the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel (Jesus) which appeared to him in the bush. 36 He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A PROPHET SHALL THE LORD YOUR GOD RAISE UP UNTO YOU OF YOUR BRETHREN, LIKE UNTO ME; HIM SHALL YE HEAR. (See Deuteronomy 18:15-18)

38 This is He (Jesus), that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: 39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust Him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt, 40 saying unto Aaron, "Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot (know) not what is become of him."

41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O YE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, HAVE YE OFFERED TO ME SLAIN BEASTS AND SACRIFICES BY THE SPACE OF FORTY YEARS IN THE WILDERNESS? (Deuteronomy 17:3) 43 YEA, YE TOOK UP THE TABERNACLE OF MOLOCH, AND THE STAR OF YOUR GOD REMPHAN, FIGURES WHICH YE MADE TO WORSHIP THEM: AND I WILL CARRY YOU AWAY BEYOND BABYLON. (Jeremiah 25:9-12)

44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. 45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David; 46 Who found favor before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built him an house.

48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL: WHAT HOUSE WILL YE BUILD ME? SAITH THE LORD: OR WHAT IS THE PLACE OF MY REST? (Isaiah 661-2) 50 HATH NOT MY HAND MADE ALL THESE THINGS?(Psalm 102:25)

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it."

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 and cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And as they stoned Stephen, Stephen calling upon God, and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Acts Chapter Eight

1 And Saul was consenting unto his(Stephens) death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. (But) 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committing them to prison. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them. And many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: (and) 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man has the great power of God. 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

12 But when they believed Philip's preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then (they, John and Peter) laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, "Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost." 20 But Peter said unto him, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity."

24 Then answered Simon, and said, "Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me."

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans. 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28 was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, 'Understandest thou what thou readest?" 31 And he (the eunuch) said, "How can I, except some man should guide me?" And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, HE WAS LED AS A SHEEP TO THE SLAUGHTER; AND LIKE A LAMB DUMB BEFORE HIS SHEARER, SO OPENED HE NOT HIS MOUTH: 33 IN HIS HUMILIATION HIS JUDGMENT WAS TAKEN AWAY: AND WHO SHALL DECLARE HIS GENERATION? FOR HIS LIFE IS TAKEN FROM THE EARTH. (Isaiah 53:7-8)

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, "I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?" 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, "See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?" 37 And Philip said, "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Acts Chapter Nine

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way (followers of Christ), whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?

5 And he said, "Who art thou, Lord?" And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, "Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?" And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. 8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. 10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, "Behold, I am here, Lord." 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

13 Then Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to Thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on Thy name." 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake.

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost." (Acts 6:1 thru 9:17 ACP/KJV)

Did you see how much faith this man Ananias must have had? Think about this Saul for a moment, he was known throughout the Christian world and by every Christian as a man who took delight in persecuting the Christians. Yet Ananias had faith in God so he obeyed God and then God changed Saul the persecutor into Paul the Apostle.

There are just a few more things I want to touch on before closing, first is found in the book of Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: and in 2 Corinthians 10:10 we read For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. And in the Book of Revelation 20: 11-15, the Apostle John tells us: And I saw a great white throne, and Him, Jesus, that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now, how does one make sure that their name is in the book of life? How does one insure that one is going to spend eternity in heaven with the Lord and not in the lake of fire with satan?

The Lord Jesus has made it very clear, He has told us exactly what one must do. He has not hedged, He has not spoken in parables or in a confusing way, He has made it clear, simple and absolutely mandatory. For He tells us that any who are not found in His Book of Life, will not only not go to heaven, the will spend all eternity in the lake of fire. And just how do we get into the Lord Jesus' Book of Life?

John Chapter Three

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him." 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, "How can these things be?" 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

34 For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:1-21 & 34-36 ACP/KJV)

So, how does one get into the Lord's Book of Life? Simply but giving oneself to the Lord, making Jesus the Lord and Master of your life, by going to Him in private prayer and confessing to Him that you are a sinner, and then asking Him to forgive your sins and to take control of your life. If you do that and you are serious, then your name is instantly entered into the Book of Life, no purgatory, no pain, no suffering, simply a new person in Jesus, a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Jesus, Christian.

Do any of you have any questions?

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with and hear you all, may He bless you this Fathers day, helping you to remember that He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Fathers, fear not to go to the Father in prayer, thanking Him for the children He has entrusted to you and asking His help in raising them.

God please bless all that read this,

amen.

If thou believest with all thine heart ...

Well, yesterday was primary day in Maine, and of all the candidates, both Republican and Democrat, the only one who ran as a pro-life candidate that won, was a democrat, Mike Michud. Both Wendell Scripner and Starvos Mendros lost, but, it was not them who where the big losers, the biggest losers in yesterday's primary were the baby in the womb and the Republican Party. Every last one of the Republican candidates are Republicans of the Susan Collins bent. They are pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-leftist. The winning republican candidate for governor brags about being pro-choice, which is nothing but pro-abortion or pro-kill the baby in the womb.

In the November general elections, there will be a pro-life candidate running for congress, a Democrat, there will be a pro-life candidate running for governor, an independent by the name of John Michael. How long before we stop putting our blind allegiance in the Republican Party and start looking to Christ? How long before we stop supporting the baby killing scum of the Republican Party and start supporting independent men who believe that the baby in the womb is to be loved, not slaughtered and sold for parts? Back 1960 years ago, Candice the Queen of Ethiopia had it right, better to have a God fearing eunuch as the head of her treasury than a baby killing Republican. George Bush has been president for sixteen months now and the most horrendous of all slaughters, partial birth abortion continues unabated and more heavily funded.

(Acts 8:1-40 ACP/KJV)

Gentlemen, I have lost my share of races, let me ask you to ask God to comfort both Starvos and Wendell, their families and those who worked to get them elected. It hurts to loose, it hurts to go back and see who voted and who stayed home and find that many who you really thought would go and vote for you, stayed home. Ask the Lord to soften this blow to them and help them to focus on those who braved the rain to go and cast their votes. To focus on the many that voted for them, not those who voted against them. As an evangelist, I have come to realize that the no's don't count. It is only those who pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the Lord that matter.

And let us come to realize that the Republicans like the main stream Democrats have abandoned us, Christ, the baby in the womb, honor, integrity and the desire to preserve this nation and it's Republican form of government. Let us start to realize that we must start to work to restore those things lost and abandoned by the republicans by forming a third party, a party that is pro-Christ, pro-life and pro-constitutional rights.

Lord I would ask You to see and help Starvos and Wendell through this time. That Lord you will also be with their families, staffs, friends and clergy. And Lord I would ask you to be with the surgeon working on Joel today and with Tim as he starts to recover. Lord, blessed creator of all things, I would ask that you would be the Father to my children that I was not, that You would be with and care for the babies in Theresa's and Kirsten's wombs, leading the baby and the mom to You.

In the Sacred name of Yeshua I pray to the Father Yahweh.

Amen.

Election day, please, please, do not forget to go vote. And please pray for Tim, a young man who, while working on a car, got trapped under it when it fell on him. Real serious condition, salvation first and then for health.
And Joel Bouchard, going into Mercy hospital tonight. Solid Christian pray for sucessful surgery and peace for him and his wife Susan.

Monday & Tuesday June 10th & 11th, 2002

Starvos Mendros in his own words.

Please support Starvos Mendros and Wendell Scribner on 6-11-2002
In the words of President Ronald Reagan, “The assault on traditional American values has gone on far too long. It’s time we stand up and say enough is enough.”

My name is Stavros Mendros and I’m a candidate for U.S. congress in Maine’s 2nd congressional district. In 1998, I was elected to the Maine House of Representatives, unseating an entrenched incumbent who sat on the Appropriations Committee. I was the first Republican to the House in this heavily dominated Democratic area of Lewiston since 1902. Lewiston is the largest city in the Congressional district with only a 16% Republican voting population. In 2000, I was outspent 2 to 1 and beat back a tough Democratic challenge, winning with almost 60% of the vote surprising many of the political pundits.

I have a 100% pro-life voting record. That's why I've been endorsed by the Maine Right to Life Committee and the National Right to Life Committee.

Women have been betrayed by abortion advocates. Continued support of abortion as the solution to unplanned pregnancies perpetuates the misconception that women have to choose between their child and their career, or their child and their education, or their child and their current life. No woman wants to have an abortion. That's why we need to offer women real solutions to unplanned pregnancies- equal pay, flex time and job sharing, comprehensive health care, maternity benefits and parental leave, affordable, quality childcare, shared parental responsibility, and child support. No woman should be driven to the personal tragedy of abortion because politicians are too lazy to fight for real solutions to unplanned pregnancies. American women are strong enough, courageous enough, and generous enough to face an unplanned pregnancy- and to be authentic heroines to their unborn children. I know life starts at conception. If I am not willing to stand up and defend that life.

I have a perfect record in the Maine Legislature of supporting the right of Mainers to keep and bear arms. I strongly believe in our constitution and I am a firm upholder or our second amendment rights. Because of this, I have been endorsed by Gun Owners of America. I have an A+ rating with the NRA and an A rating with Sportsmen’s Alliance of Maine. I believe the greatest gift that we can give our children is not health care or education, but the gift our founding fathers gave to us...freedom.

America is the greatest nation on Earth. Built on freedom, liberty, and an understanding that our future depends on remaining “one nation under God.”

In the words of Edmund Burke, “Evil thrives when good men do nothing.”

I would like to be your Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in November’s election.

I ask for your vote on Tuesday, June 11th.

Thank you,
Starvos Mendros

Weekend of June 8th & 9th of June, 2002

Not as important, but...

Starvos Mendros and Wendell Scribner on 6-11-2002

Gentlemen, today we are going back to look at Acts Chapter Six. The reason we are going back is because this is the weekend before the primary elections here in Maine. And while the elections of men to public office is not as important as the selection of elders for the Church, it comes close and there is no reason we should not use the same guidelines for both positions.

Before we do, there are two Republican names I want to bring to your attention. For those of you voting in the second congressional district, the district now in the hands of one of the worst examples of a member of congress, John Elias Baldacci. In the second, the choice is clear and simple, Starvos Medros. For those of you living in the towns of Bridgton, Harrison, Lovell, Sweden and Denmark, the choice here is simple as well, Wendell Scribner for State Rep.

(Acts 6: ACP/KJV)

Now, why am I saying Wendell Scribner for the Maine house and Starvos Mendros for the Second Congressional district? Both Starvos and Wendell are absolutely Pro- Life, both are Pro-Second Amendment and both support homeshooling.

Starvos Mendros has been endorsed, not only by me, but by the State and National Right to Life Commitees, he has been endorsed by GOA, the Gun owners of America. And has a A+ rating with the NRA. I have watched Starvos voting record for many a year and find that the way he voted as a State Rep is identical to the way I would have voted. As far as I am concerned, the choice is clear in the second, STARVOS MENDROS!

For the State Rep seat being vacated by Paul Waterhouse, the choice is also clear, Wenedl Scribner. Wendell is a land owner that makes his living cutting trees, he and his wife HomeSchool their four kids, one son and three daughters. Wendell and I have spent many an afternnooon reading the Bible and praying and I account him as one of my prayer partners. Wendell is A Borna Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian and solid as a rock. There will be no twisting the Word of God in front of the committees Wendell is appointed to, for he is well grounded and well studied in God's word, the Holy Bible.

Guys, you need to get up, go to the polls on Tuesday June 11th, bring your wife and any in you family old enough to cast a vote, and vote for these guys. And while you are there, vote against all of the bond issues.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you all and let me ask you to keep these two men in your prayers. For it is men like this that we need representing us for they are like us.

Amen.

Two cults, one purpose.

Worldwide and in this nation, we have two cults whose sole intent seems to be to rid the earth of Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. The two cults are the Roman Catholic Church and the Muslims. Between the two of them, they outnumber us greatly.

Like the Roman Catholic church, the Muslims have since their inception been on the war path against real Christians and Jews, their sole intent for living seems to be the eradication of both. I bring this point up for a number of reasons, but only one of which will I go into here today. And that reason is to make you aware of how much alike they are and how easy it is for either or both to take over the government of these United States.

Let us start by looking at their respective hates of Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians. To understand the RC's hate of us, read Foxes book of Martyrs. For an understanding of the Muslim hatred for us, read the magazine Voice of the Martyrs, you can find a link to it on the churches link page. I am sure you are all familiar with the Muslim hatred for the Jews, but did you know that before the Muslims came the RC's to destroy them? Read politically incorrect history of the 1500's thru the 1900's in RC dominated European nations.

Now, around the turning from the 19th to the 20th century here in the USA, the RC's went from being under 1% to over 28% of the population, the Muslims went from being 0% to around 10% or so. Both did it the same ways, by bringing their people here as immigrants, by demanding that they use no contraception, that they oppose abortion for their own people, and that they force those wanting to intermarry to convert. As you look at the two religions, once you understand that the RC's do not worship Christ, but instead honor and really worship the teachings and preaching of the various popes, you will see and understand that the RC's and the Muslims are very much alike. You will come to see that the RC's have a lot more in common with the Muslims than they do the true Church of Christ. Add to these two cults the ever growing number of so called Christian main stream denominations that are denying the very basics of true Christianity, and you have one very large group. A group drooling at the mouth to attack Israel and align themselves with the oil producing nations of the Muslims.

Talk to a RC priest without letting him know who you are and in short order you will find that he has no love or use for those who study and wish to live by the teachings of the Word of God and the Bible. Talk to a Muslim Cleric and you will find the same thing. Now when you approach a liberal so called Christian preacher, you will find that same hatred. The liberal protestant will be a little more condescending, but as you talk to him or her and ask questions, you will find that if you rely upon the word of God, the Holy Bible, he or she will tend to look down his nose at you with a remark such as "you don't understand" or "have you ever studied the writing in the original Greek and Hebrew?"

Why am I bringing this up? Because I want you to be prepared for the times that are coming. I want you to be prepared to have to get politically involved in order to keep this nation on the side of Israel and not the side of the ungodly arabs. I want you to realize that the enemies of the true Church and the Israelites is not just the arabs, but includes the RC's, the leftist denominations and the liberal jews. I want you to understand that we are in for some very tough times over the next few years. And mostly I want you to understand this; if the two main cults join political forces, they will control the political apparatus in this country and they will come after us.

Gentlemen, we need revival in the country, we need the Lord to wake up the pulpit and we need the true believers in this nation to understand that we are on very thin ice. Understand this, all those who are not Born again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians are going to hell, they all serve the god of this world, satan. Oh yes they serve him under various names, but the bottom line is this, they all serve, worship, and belong to satan. Only we who are Christ' stand alone.

I want you to study two verses of Scripture with me today, just two.

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3) quote unquote, God the Father.

He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) quote unquote, God the Son.

With that in mind, we are going to add one more thing to your prayer list, and one more bit of work for your evangelical outreaching, pray for the Jew, that he will stop being a false jew and will start being a true jew by reading the Scriptures and seeking the Messiah. For you see the false jew, the one who ignores Scripture and instead relies on commentary and the teachings of the rabbi is going to spend all eternity with the rest of the Christ denying satan worshiping lake of fire dammed souls.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you and strengthen you.

Amen.

And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Well, it seems that more than a few of you joined with me in fasting yesterday. In a fast of this sort, we, for a day, put ourselves in the position of ones having nothing but water and bread to eat. Or rice and water, or beans and water. Now as most of you know, it felt good. It was nice to give up something for the Lord. Those of you who fasted yesterday, can now start to understand why Stephen could, as they stoned him, look up to God and say: "And as they stoned Stephen, Stephen calling upon God, and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.' And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, 'Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.' And when he had said this, he fell asleep." While being stoned, Stephen could just fall asleep.

You see, when you suffer for yourself, you feel no sense of gratitude or peace, yet when you suffer for another, you get some sense of peace, but when you suffer for the Lord, you feel joy, such joy that you can forgive your enemies and even fall asleep while being tortured.

Now, as you might remember from Acts Six, Stephen had been arrested and was now being held in court in front of the high mucky mucks of the Jewish council:

15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel. (Acts 6:8-15 ACP/KJV)

And now without further ado, let us go to Acts Chapter Seven

1 Then said the high priest, "Are these things so?" 2 And he (Stephen) said,

"Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3 And said unto him, GET THEE OUT OF THY COUNTRY, AND FROM THY KINDRED, AND COME INTO THE LAND WHICH I SHALL SHEW THEE. (Genesis 12:1)

4 Then came he (Abraham) out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father(Terah) was dead, He (God) removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

(Acts 7: ACP/KJV)

Isn't it wonderful how when you sacrifice for the Lord, He makes you comfortable and not miserable. How comfortable are you when you sacrifice for the government? Yet, as you saw yesterday, fasting and becoming uncomfortable for the Lord, leaves you not feeling miserable, but content. As you fasted and asked the Lord to help you understand what your cross is, has He begun to answer you? Do you realize that by your not being uncomfortable, but instead finding both peace and contentment, that He is answering you.

You see, as you gave up something yesterday and lived on just bread and water, you found that the peace you had was not like the hollow peace you have after a big meal, it is the peace that comes from serving the Lord. Want to serve Him a bit more? I'm not going to rush you, but if you would like to take the next baby step, try this:

With your next one day fast, do this: Instead of giving the food you would have had on the fast day, figure out the cost of the meals you are giving up, probably around $19.00 or so. Tuck it into a KJV Bible and deliver the money and the Bible to the one who you know to be less fortunate than yourself. Just put the money in the Bible, go to their door, knock on it and when they come to the door, say: "I would like you to have this". And give it to them, and as you leave, say: "The Lord be with you and yours." Now, you can not send a servant to do this, you must do it yourself.

If they ask you then or later why or what you are doing, simply tell them the truth. Say, "I am doing a one day fast for the Lord, I am giving up the meals I would have had to be more like the Lord Jesus. I am, instead of eating fancy meals myself, serving Him by giving both the money I would have used for todays meals and God's word, this KJV Bible, to you. I hope and it is my prayer, that you will find the peace in receiving this gift that I do in giving it to you."

The Lord be with you all and may He continue to bless you for trying to be a little more like Him and trying a little harder to understand what it is He would have you to do. And please continue to pray daily for the knowledge, understanding and strength to carry your cross and for serious revival in the pulpits of the churches of the USA.

And may our Lord, Messiah Yeshua, hear your prayers and mine. May He strengthen those Evangelical Christians in Israel who bring His word to the children of Israel, so that they will not spend eternity with the radical muslim homicide bombers who carry out their trade in the name of satan, calling him allah.

Amen.

Another Question

Today I am going to ask you a question, a question whose answer is between you and the Lord, not you and me. For I would have no way of knowing if your answer is truthful or not, but, the Lord knowing all things will know if you are being honest in your answer to yourself and Him.

Who do you belong to? Are you Christ' or are you satan's? Now before you try and answer that, you need to look at some Scripture.

First; it is absolutely important and necessary for you to truly understand that you can not belong to nor serve both at the same time. You can not be the Lord's while doing satan's beckoning. So let us start by reading Matthew 6:24 again.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon!

Do you understand that? do you really understand that you can not serve satan and Yeshua at the same time? Let me, using Scripture make it clearer.

And when Jesus had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (Mark 8:34) Ok, Jesus said: "Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Do you understand that? Do you understand what the Lord is saying? What He is saying is this, if you are His, you will deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him. Do you know what your cross is? Do you understand what He wants you to do? Your cross is the chore that the Lord has for you to do. What is it? Are you denying yourself anything? Have you ever decided to fast for one day, and on that day, think of what you would have had for meals prepare that food and give it to the poor, or someone you know in need. And then during that twenty four hours have nothing but bread and water, thanking the Lord for the opportunity to suffer a little and to be of service to one more needy. During that fast, ask the Lord what it is that He would have you to do. Ask Him what your cross is.

But, understand this, your cross is every bit as difficult as His was;

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake,

for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake:

But he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have called the Master of the house beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household? (Matthew 10:16-25) Have you been scourged for the Lord's sake? Have you had to leave one city and go to another for the Lord's sake? Have you relied upon the Holy Spirit to tell you what to say? Do you understand that you are not above the Lord, but His servant? Do you understand that as His servant, if you really are His servant, you are to do the things He commanded and that these things will cause you to be persecuted? Have you been persecuted?

If you are a disciple of the Lord's than you will understand what Paul is saying in these next few verses, you will understand because you are being persecuted. If you belong to satan, you will not understand because you are not being persecuted.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. (Philippians 1:21-24)

Is your life here on earth so comfortable that you hate the thought of dying and leaving it? Or are you looking forward to death of this body and life with the King? If you suddenly had a heart attack, and on the way to the hospitals you were awake and the ambulance attendant said to you "are you afraid of death?" what would you say?

What suffering have you done for the Lord? Bear in mind, He has said that our suffering will be worse than His. Have you made this world your home? Have you forsaken the kingdom of God to be a resident of this earth? Have you gone to jail for Christ? I do not mean to visit a prisoner, I mean as a prisoner? Does your doctor do abortions? Why don't you know? Have you never asked him or her? Look around your work place, does everyone there know that you are a Born Again Washed in the BLOOD of the Lamb Christian? If not, you probably aren't.

Does your preacher consider you a challenge? By that I mean does he, if it is a she ignore this question and go find a real church. But does he find your questions and your conversations with him challenging? Do you know the word of God so well that your questions are more than superficial? Or is your bible so covered with dust that if you picked it up and blew it off, you would be in danger of starting the next dust bowl? Do you wonder when, not if, the federal secret police will come and get you? Not for crimes you committed, but for the crime of preaching Gods truths.

If, at this time, you can not truthfully say you are Christ, than we need to wonder why. Part of the reason is you, you and your slothfulness, your being to lazy to seek out God and His cross for you. The other reason is the pulpit. We have church after so called church where the pulpit is more afraid of the government and it's tax status than it is of Christ. We need revival in this country and we need it bad and it must start in the pulpits. And you are going to play a major part in that revival! First, go to the store and buy one loaf of three day old bread, the cheaper the better and then fill a 1 gallon jug with drinking water, I am not talking about designer water, I'm talking about tap water.

Second, go home and find out what you would have for meals over the twenty four hour period starting at 6:am tomorrow morning. Then take that food, put it in a package and tomorrow, while you are fasting, bring it to one you know of who is less fortunate than you.

Third, starting at 6:AM tomorrow morning, start praying, start by reading two chapters of your Bible, John three and John ten. Thank the Lord for this opportunity to fast, help the poor and come to Him, ask Him to help you bear your cross and what your cross is, and beg Him to cause a revival in the pulpits to take place right here in the USA right now. Tell Him you are sorry you have been so content with this life here on this place you are only visiting. Ask Him what you can do. But understand, if you seriously ask Him, He will answer you and expect you to do it.

If you belong to Christ and not satan, your every desire is to serve Christ and fight satan. You know as well as I that this nation needs a cleansing of the pulpits. And you know that you are not doing enough. If you now realize that you are not Christ', but are satan's, you need not stay that way. As long as you have a breath left, you can be His, you can be Saved, but what you can not do is procrastinate.

As for me? Well I will be on bread and water tomorrow, and the meals I would have had, well, they will grace the table of one less fortunate than I. Will you join me?

Let me close with these words of the Lord:

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:16-21)

The Lord be with you all, and may all of you one day be His.

Amen.

Monday June 3rd, 2002

Well, one more day and then back to Acts,

maybe.

Today, I would like to give you a bit of Scripture to think about. Let us start with the fact that you are either Gods or satan's, as is everyone, for no man, woman or child can belong to both.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon! (Matthew 6:24)

Matthew 6:24 tells us very clearly that you can not ride the fence, you can not claim to be Christ', while serving the god of this world, satan. Granted most of the men and girls in the Military are not Christians and never claimed to be, but, the Commander in Chief, George Bush the Second, has claimed to be a Christian. Yet, do his actions indicate such?

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Matthew 7:1&2)

In Matthew 7:1&2, we see the Lord telling us either not to judge at all or, if we are to judge, judge by the same standards that you would wish to be judged by yourself. Am I being to harsh in my judgement of the current administration and the US Military over the last 12 years? I don't think so, I would have no problem being judged as a coward if I stood by with 19 other men who were trained and armed and did absolutely nothing to stop the slaughter, but instead listened to the screams of 80 plus men women and children from pain as they were gassed and incinerated. I would have no problem being judged a communist and a liar when after taking and oath on televison to uphold and defend the Constitution of these United States, I instead defecated on it. After promising to end partial birth abortion, instead stood by and increased the funding for those who commit this horrendous crime. Not, in neither case would I have a problem being judged dishonorable.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.

Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto Me, "Lord, Lord", shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?" And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:15-27)

Now, using the above Scripture and any other you would like, being honest with no speculation, but only the truth and facts, take the space below and list the fruits of the military and the administration over the last 13 years and 5 months. Then tell yourself who they serve. For to pray for revival in this country, to pray for the president and his administration, the military and the courts, we must first know what we are praying for. I think that once you face up to how bad the last 60 plus years have been, and how with each year things have become more and more corrupt, you will see the importance of praying for our country and those we have put in positions of trust. To do that, you first must face up to what we have become.

The Lord be with you all and may you be so honest with yourself that your voice will join with mine in beseeching the Lord our God for true and plentiful revival in our country, starting with the pulpit. For the reason our nation has slide into it's current state is not on the shoulders of the corrupt office holders and the 20 men of Delta Company who stood by and watched or maybe took part in the slaughter of the Branch Davidians at Mount Carmel on April 19th, 1993, it rest squarely on the shoulders of those weak kneed cowards behind the pulpit. Let us first pray the Lord to restore our pulpits with men who fear Him, men who serve Him, men who put Him first and care not for the things of this earth. When was the last time your preacher preached hell and damnation? Has he ever painted a picture of heaven or hell? Has he ever preached salvation and the plan thereof? is he afraid of losing his 501c3 status? Revival must start in the pulpits and that will only happen when you men put your voices together and beseech the lord our God for revival and a cleansing of His church.

The Lord our God, Creator of all things, Messiah Yeshua, be with you.

Amen.

Weekend of June 1st and 2nd, 2002

Who last had honor?

We think of those men who fought in the revolutionary war as honorable, we think of those men who fought on the side of the confederacy as honorable, yet we do not have those same feelings for the men who fought on the side of the Union.

Why? Why is it that in US militaries past and present we think of some as honorable and some as dishonorable? The answer is really quite simple when you think about it. What made those men who fought against tyranny and for freedom under the leadership of George Washington honorable was the simple fact that George Washington was honorable. What made those men who fought to keep States Rights honorable was the leadership of General Robert E. Lee, for General Lee, like General Washington was an honorable man. The Union Generals had no such reputation.

Now think to yourself, what makes a man honorable? What traits does it take in a man for us to consider him honorable? Well one of those traits would be honesty. George Washington and Robert E. Lee shared a reputation of being men who were honest. Not simply honest in there speech, but in their very lives as well. Are there any out there that would consider Presidents Bush, Bush, Clinton, Carter, Regan, Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Truman or any other of the last 25 presidents honest?

If the leader is not honest, than he is not honorable, if he is considered dishonorable, how can we consider those who follow him, those who place him above their own lives honorable? No, you can not consider our military today honorable for we can not and should not trust even one word out of the presidents mouth, for our last presidents have been liars, men of no honor, men whose word you can not trust. And if you can not trust the word of he who declares war and sends men and girls off to kill and be killed, than how can you consider those men and girls who go and kill for this liar to be honorable?

Jesus has warned us and told us of liars: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he (the devil) speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Those who lie are sons and daughters, not of Christ, but satan. Unless you consider satan to be honorable, how can you consider one who does what is of satan honorable? And when one follows the orders and kills for the ilk of satan how can you consider that person or persons honorable? Would you consider an abortionist honest or honorable? If you would not consider an abortionist honest or honorable, how could you consider those who kill on orders of a liar, to be honest or honorable? Is there anyone in our armed forces that thought of Clinton as an honest man? Yet, did they not wage war and kill following his orders? Are there any in todays military that really believe that Bush is any more honest than Clinton? Yet are they not killing in compliance with his orders?

Why do you expect your daughter to keep her legs closed when a man lies to her and tells her he loves her, yet you honor those who kill on the orders of a pathological liar? Your logic escapes me.

Why do you expect your son not to have a homosexual lover when the public school system, a majority of the pulpits, the media and the president tell him it is ok? Yet, you honor the men and girls in our armed forces that kill on orders of a pathological liar. You expect and demand the truth from your children and your wife, yet you embrace and honor liars in public office and those who kill for them. Your logic escapes me.

Monday we will be back in the book of Acts, till then, you need to really look inside yourself and see who it is that you worship. Is it Christ or is the republican party? Is it truth and Christ or satan and liars? You can not have it both ways, you can not go to church on Sunday, so as to impress the world with your devoutness towards Christ, and yet at the same time honor those who kill at the beck and call of pathological liars.

Get this straight, you either belong to Christ and truth or satan and liars. There is no grey, there is no half way, there is no fence to ride on. You are either a follower of the Lord God Creator of the earth and all things or you belong to satan.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon! (Matthew 6:24)

So, who do you honor, those who tell the truth or those who lie and kill, following the orders of liars?

As for me, I will neither follow nor honor the likes of Bush, Clinton and those who serve, honor and kill at their behest. You follow and honor whomever you choose.

The Lord grant you peace with your choice.

Amen.

Our Sacred Honor

Once upon a time, the US Miltary followed a man on his knees.

Over the last six days or so, we have been looking at the lack of honor within our public servants and military. In doing so, I have seen something that really bothers me, and that is how many of you have blind loyalty to the Republican party, the current president, the US military and various branches of it. Let me start by saying this; Your blind loyalty should be towards Christ and only towards Christ. Did Bill Clinton go up on the cross for you? Did George Bush allow himself to be scourged for you? Did the Commandant of the Marine Corps or any other public servant, member of the secret police forces or member of the Military carry a cross he would be nailed to for you? Is it by the name of Bush, Clinton, Regan or Eisenhower that you can be Saved?

Let me now ask you a question or two.

Who would you consider a hero, the man who can not swim yet jumps into the raging river to save a person from drowning or the 20 members of Delta Force that watched as the batf and fbi slaughtered those at Mount Carmel?

Who would you consider a hero; the unarmed man who jumped between the knife welding robber and the lady, or the 20 heavily armed members of Bravo Company Delta Force US Army who stood by and advised while batf and fbi agents poured CS gas into the home of the Branch Dravidians at Mount Carmel outside of Waco, Texas on April 19th, 1993?

Who would you consider a hero; the fireman who ran into tower number one, even as it was collapsing in an effort to save one more man, or the twenty brave members of the US Armies most elite forces as they stood by and watched the slaughter and incineration of men and women and children at Mount Carmel?

There is a man in Bridgton Maine, his name is Ovide, he owns a little car fix it up shop that also sells used cars. Ovide puts keeping ministers on the road, regardless of lose of profit, ahead of profit. He puts his honor and his duty to God ahead of making profit. So, who is the hero, the US Army Sargent and his 19 fellow members of Company B Delta Force US Army who stood by and watched this little girl go from this: to this: , or Ovide? Jesus said: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

In the law of man, there is a word called complicity, it is used to describe one is an accomplice to a crime even though that person did not actually do the crime. For those of you who still think the military is honorable, look up the word complicity. It has been nine years and still not one of the killers has been brought before the bar of justice and not one of those in the military have been charged. How can anyone in their right mind call a military and a government who by lies and deceit, cover ups and perjured testimony continue to protect those who did what was done on April 19th, 1993 at Mount Carmel, Texas.

Lest ye forget: Those who died at mount Carmel.

Oh Lord God Creator of all things help us to be a nation of men, of honorable and God fearing men once again. We know Lord that Thou does give to us the leadership that we deserve, the leadership that is most like us, but Lord I pray and beseech you, that You would soften Your heart towards us and give us a David. Lord rescue us from the leadership in the highest office that spawns and nurtures a military that will stand by and allow a mount Carmel to happen. Lord rescue us from the pathological liars the murders, liars, cheats and abortionist that now make up our government. I know Lord that Thou has reserved a few unto Yourself that have not bent the knee to baal, please Lord release them to free us now.

Yahweh, in the Precious Name of Yeshua I beseech Thee.

Amen.

"I was only following orders..."

Immediately after world war two, a trial for Nazi war criminals was set up in Nuernberg, Germany, the defense most used was: "I was only following orders" The US Army officers sitting on the panel of judges made it very clear that the defense "I was only following orders" was not a defense for the killing of defenseless civilians. Yet, on February 28th, 1993 elite elements of the United States Army joined with various secret police agencies, including the batf and fbi. The end results was the massacre at Mount Carmel outside of Waco, Texas.

As of this date, there have been no court-martials. It has been over nine years and not one those who violated their oath has been held accountable.

Congressman John Mica of Florida asked "Didn't their reports say that gas masks wouldn't fit on these babies!!?" He was told they did. Yet, members of the US Armies elite Delta Force attacked anyhow.

...
Congressman Sono Bono as he heard the description of how the children died from the effects of the CS gas, how it slowly and painfully killed them. Congressman Bono who swore that he would not rest till those responsible were held accountable, died under suspicious circumstances shortly after.

When the ATF asked the military for help in staging its initial raid of the compound on Feb. 28, 1993, military officers said the ATF would have to reimburse the Army for any assistance because there was "no known drug nexus," according to Lt. Col. Lon Walker, an Army liaison to the ATF.

Many of you are still upset over my refusal to honor the US Military. When the US Military acts honorably, I will treat them and honor them honorably. Those who harbor, shield, defend and honor those who did this, do not deserve honor, they deserve shame and disgrace. Let the blood of those little ones they killed be upon their heads. They have chosen to serve Clinton, Reno, Bush and each other. And I have chosen to honor those who served honorably, the brave Christian men who fought, died, and pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor for this country. Those who did like wise to protect states rights and those who went into burning and unstable towers on 9-11-2002, not to kill innocent US Citizens, but to save them.

The US Military today is not honorable, they are not heros, they like those they serve in Washington are not the defenders of this nation and it's constitution, but the destroyers of it. We can change things back. We have the votes and we have the US Constitution, the question is, who is your allegiance to? The nation or the policial parties? The nation or blind allegiance to the military?

And may God forgive this nation for what it has become.

Amen.

"I can't believe you forgot memorial Day

And I cannot get over how many of you wrote to say "I can't believe you forgot memorial Day". But, my brothers in the Lord, I did not forget Memorial Day. Did I not bring to mind the brave Christian men who put their honor, lives and fortunes on the line fighting to first free this nation and later, howbeit unsuccessfully, to continue it's heritage of States Rights? Did I not over the weekend bring to mind the poem of a little girl, being a little girl enthralled and worshiping the ground her hero dad walked on?

Ah, but you say, memorial day is about Soldiers, Marines and Sailors. And I would say to you, Nay, but about heroes. The fireman who died was a hero, those who fought to free this nation from the grip of tyranny were indeed heroes, as where the brave Christian men who risked all to fight for and die for the right of the States to remain free from the tyranny of a larger and more centralized federal government.

But, today's Soldiers, Marines and Sailors? No, I do not consider men who follow or send girls into combat heroes. I do not consider men who stand by as 1.7 million innocent little trapped babies are executed each year in the wombs of females in the USA, heroes. I do not consider the boys and girls of the various federal secret police agencies heroes, nay, but cowards. And I will have no part in honoring cowards on Memorial Day. Let the liars in the congress and the administration honor those who are most like them. For I will honor those who do not and did not hide behind girls, but instead left behind little girls that wear pretty dresses and worship the ground their dads walked on.

Let the likes of George Bush, Barney Frank, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Hillary Clinton honor those who make up the cowardly in service to this corrupt baby killing nation. Let the dishonorable give their 'honor' to the cowards in the secret police agencies and todays military, for I will not. And if that upsets you, then so be it.

No where in God's Word do men use women as soldiers, police or shields. No where in Gods Word do we find little girls with PMS ordering and leading men to battle. And I will have no part in honoring cowards, boys and children hiding in a uniform behind girls acting like boys.

Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. (Nehemiah 4:13)

Men do not hide behind girls, little boys and cowards do! Men leave behind wives and daughters as depicted in the poem over the weekend, not drunken man imitators like those who have occupied the white house over the last ten years.

The Lord God of Creation be with you all,

Amen.

We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor

In 1775, Christian man after Christian man, stood up and stated that he would pledge his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to the cause of ending tyranny and becoming a free nation.

In 1860, Christian man after Christian man stood up and pledged his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to the fight for states rights.

In 1775, those Christian men ultimately won and the nation known as the United States was born. In 1865, those Christian men lost and the states lost their individuality and the nation started it's slide towards socialism, communism and fascism under the name of democracy. Resulting in a nation that can best be described by God in the book of Isaiah.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

"Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. ..." (Isaiah 1:1-7 ACP/KJV)

The Lord gave us here in the USA, a wonderful land, He gave us a wonderful form of government, yet, we have forsaken Him. We have become a nation where sex is less formal than a handshake. Where a handshake used to be a binding contract, binding contracts written with words on paper are now worth less than dung. A nation that kills over one million seven hundred thousand of it's babies each year while they sleep peacefully in the supposed safety of there mothers wombs.

In 1775, about one thousand Christian men led the charge for freedom, it resulted in just about seventeen percent of the Christian men in the country dying for that freedom.

In 1860 a bit less than five hundred solid Christian gentlemen of the Southern states pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the cause of maintaining States rights. The forces of evil in the northern states corrupted and lied claiming that the fight was not about states rights, but the freedom of salves. Freeing those self same slaves that had been brought from Africa aboard slaves ships owned by northerners and sold as slaves to the men of the South. And those five hundred Christian men lost all they had, for many the lose included their lives, with them, over five hundred thousand of their brethren lost their lives as well. But, not their honor.

How many solid Christian men today would have to pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to end abortion?

Are there any solid Christian men today? How many even know what it means to be a Christian? How many realize that it is impossible to be both a Roman Catholic priest and be a Christian? How many realize that Roman Catholicism is a cult, an idol worshiping Christ denying cult?

The reason those Southern Christian men lost is the same reason we have abortion today, we have lost our course, we have turned from the word of God and the Word of God. We have become a bunch of feel good do gooders, men who do not even know what it means to be Christian men. Men who not only have no sacred honor, but have no honor. Men who would follow a political party rather than Christ.

How many of you carry a gun? Do you know when you would use it? Have you ever sat down and figured out just when you would draw it and use it? Under what set of circumstances you would use deadly force? For whom you would spill blood? For whom you would be wiling to risk your very own life? If not, why do you carry?

Yes it could easily be the Untied States God was thinking about when He said: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me.

Are there any men left who would put their lives on the line to save a baby in the womb? Are their any men left who would do as one man did to me when I was taking his daughter out so many many years ago? You see, way back in 1960, I was about to take a young girl out on a date, her dad called me aside and said "Hey Bob, come into the garage for a minute, I want to show you something." So, I went towards the garage, he held the door open for me and I walked in, as I turned around, he held a .45 to my head and said "My daughter is a virgin, if you touch her, I will hunt you down and kill you!" That man had Sacred Honor, and he was willing to put it on the line for his daughters virginity, for her honor. Forty two percent of fourth grade girls in New York City are performing oral sex on their boyfriends. What about your daughter? Do you know? Do you care? and what would you do if you did know?

Lord, give us the courage to once again be Christian men in this country, help us to follow you and not a political party, help us to once again bring honor to ourselves our families and our nation. Amen.

Something to think about

Sent to me by: Steve Burzlaff, Kentucky

Her hair was up in a ponytail
Her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
And she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
That she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
If she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid;
She knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
Of why he wasn't there today.

But still her mother worried,
For her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
She tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school,
Eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees
A dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back,
For everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
Anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called,
A student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
As seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
Every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
For a man who wasn't there.

"Where's her daddy at?"
She heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
Another student dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,
She heard a daddy say,
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
Too busy to waste his day."

The words did not offend her,
As she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
Who told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,
Slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
Came words incredibly unique.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,
Because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
Since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
And how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories
He taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
And taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
And ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone.

"Cause my daddy's always with me,
Even though we are apart
I know because he told me,
He'll forever be in my heart"

With that, her little hand reached up,
And lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
Beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere in the crowd of dads,
Her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
Who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love
Of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
Doing what was right.

And when she dropped her hand back down,
Staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
But its message clear and loud.

"I love my daddy very much,
He's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here,
But heaven's just too far.

You see he was a fireman
And died just this past year
When airplanes hit the towers
And taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,
It's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes,
And saw him there that day.

And to her mother's amazement,
She witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children,
All starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them,
Who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
They saw him at her side.

"I know you're with me Daddy,"
To the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
Of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
For each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
Was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,
By the love of her shining bright star.
And given the gift of believing,
That heaven is never too far

They say it takes a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them,

but then an entire life to forget them.

Thursday & Friday May 23nd & 24 th, 2002

Some things never change, some do.

As we read and study Acts Chapter Six, we will see the first elders appointed. And we will see why the Apostles decided that elders were needed. We will also see that, as back then, those who oppose Christ and his teachings still lie, cheat and employ liars to discredit those who preach His word.

Now, without further ado, let us read: Acts Chapter Six

15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel. (Acts 6:1-15 ACP/KJV)

Yes my brothers and sisters, over the last two thousand years, we in the Church have seen some things change, but we see that other things don't. Let us start with one of those things that have changed. As we look back on verses 1-5, we see that there was a problem in the Church at Jerusalem. The problem was that everyone in a position of authority was a Hebrew who had accepted the Lord and become a Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Born Again Christian. And as a result, when it came time for the Church to feed those who were in need, the non-Hebrew Christians were being short changed.

So, the Apostles told the entire Church, Hebrews and non-Hebrews alike, to get together and pick elders, they told them to find and bring to them seven men, men who were solid, honest and Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Born Again Christians. The Apostles then took these seven men, laid their hands upon them and prayed for them and for God's blessings and strength to be upon them. And we can tell from the names, these seven were not all Hebrews. Stephen, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas. Prochorus, sounds Italian while Nicanor is probably Greek.

The Apostles told them to do this, pick seven elders, because they knew that if they got involved with the daily running of the Church and it's non-preaching programs, that it would only be a matter of time before they would be more concerned with the financial aspects of the Church than that preaching of the Word of God.

What has changed is that some so called Christians churches no longer require elders to even be members, ever mind Born Again and full of the Holy Ghost I know of churches that advertise for board members, they are looking for a lawyer or an accountant. Preachers now open sermons with the need to give money, or they build their sermon around the church's need for money. Preachers are expected to head fund raisers, to be the head of the churches business and financial endeavors.

But, some things never change, and will not change till the end of the 1000 year reign of the Lord, the time we call the millennium. Look with me at verses 8-14. Here we have Stephen, full of the Holy Ghost and doing wonderful things, then comes the jealousy and envy, in comes satan and his minions, first they try to twist Scripture to discredit Stephen, that doesn't work, so the lie, they hire liars, and then they hold a mock trial twisting his and the Lord's words, committing both blasphemes and perjuries. And that hasn't changed.

The Lord be with you all, and if you are not working to relieve your pastor of his non-preaching duties, don't you think it might be time? If your church has gotten away from the examples in Acts six, don't you think it is time for you to work to restore it?

The Lord give you strength. And pray for the President, for many of George Bush's disciples and some of his minions attacked me yesterday, but none could show me where the president has put the kingdom and teachings of Christ ahead of earthly things. Only your prayers can save this country and the little ones born within her borders.

Amen.

So, George, who do you obey?

The President of these United States, George Walker Bush, has openly and often claimed to be a Christian. And who am I to dispute that claim? But, I can not help but wonder just who it is that George obeys. The Lord God Creator of all things, including every square inch of the planet we call earth, has given Israel, as He defined it's borders, to the decedents of Abraham, through his son Isaac and then through Isaac's son Jacob and finally through Jacobs sons. Every Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Born Again Christian knows that and abides by it. But, what about George? Why is it that George feels compelled to over rule God and give a piece of the stripped down Israel to arab, muslim heathens, whom God the Creator, explicitly prohibited from being in the land He defined as Israel.

God the Creator of all has explicitly told us to not only not hang around with witches and homosexuals, but to have national laws punishing the crimes of homosexuality and witchcraft with death. Yet, George, a self proclaimed Born Again Believer, not only associates with them, he appoints them leaders over us who believe every word that God spoke.

As you read and study Acts chapter five today, I want you to focus on two things, one how God deals with those who lie to Him, for when one claims falsely to be Born again, he is not lying to you and me, he is lying to GOD!

And the second thing to focus on is who true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians obey.

Acts Chapter Five

1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession (piece of land), 2 and kept back part of the price (proceeds from the sale of the land), his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why hath satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God."

5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost (died): and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered (said) unto her, "Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much?" And she said, "Yea, for so much." 9 Then Peter said unto her; "How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out." 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. 13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. 14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they (the sick and possessed) were healed every one.

17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, 18 and laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. 19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said; 20 "Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."

21 And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told, 23 Saying, "The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within."

24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. 25 Then came one and told them, saying, "Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people." 26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28 saying. "Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name (Jesus)? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's (Jesus')blood upon us."

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said:

"We ought to obey God rather than men!

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31 Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him."

33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had (held high) in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; 35 And said unto them, "Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. 36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. 38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: 39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His (Jesus') name. 42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. (Acts 5:1-42 ACP/KJV)

In verse 1&2, we saw Ananias, and his wife Sapphira selling a piece of land, in verse 3 we find that they didn't turn over all the money to the Church, but kept a portion for themselves, and lying about how much they sold the land for. In verse 4, Peter ask Ananias, why he was lying to God about the price of the land and why he was cheating God out of a percentage, in doing this he reminds Ananias, that this is voluntary giving, that the land was his as was the money till he brought it to God, and that he could have simply kept the land or even after selling it said, here is my tithes and given a percentage, but since he lied, he lied not to men, but to God and that would cost him his life.

The next verses show the Apostles giving his wife Sapphira a chance to be honest with God, but alas, she choose to lie also, and as with her husband, it cost her her life also.

Ananias, Sapphira lied about what they were giving God, and they paid a horrible price, they were not only struck down dead, they were also used as an example in God's own book as liars and cheats. Back in the seventies, we here in the good old USA had another president who used his claim of being Born Again to win the office of President, his name, Jimmy Carter. After four years, it became pretty obvious to just about every believer that Jimmy did not appear to be what he claimed to be, and his chance of staying in office a second term, died. And the name Jimmy Carter is remembered not with pride, but as a bumbling buffoon. As a matter of fact, President Carter must have been delighted to see Bill Clinton's presidency, for now he will be remembered as only the second worst example of honesty, integrity and decency to occupy the oval office.

In verse 29, Peter tells us who we should obey: "We ought to obey God rather than men!" God does not expect heathens to obey Him, for they belong to satan. But He does expect His, those who are Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, to obey Him. And His orders are really pretty simple and straight forward, He has even provided a Book for us to study and learn from, we call that Book the Holy Bible. To oppose that Book and it's teachings is to honor, serve, and obey satan. That Book, the Holy Bible, prohibits homosexuality, witchcraft, abortion and the defending of those who seek to steal the land He has given to the decedents of Abraham, through his son Isaac and then Isaac's son Jacob and Jacobs sons.

George has appointed homosexuals and witches, he has defended arafat and his muslim horde against Israel and he has not lifted one finger to prevent the slaughter of the babies in the womb. So, I would ask him this very day, George, who do you serve?

The Lord be with all of you who serve Him.

Amen.

So, who is first in your life?

Before we read Acts chapter four, I would like you to ask yourself a question. You don't need to give me or anyone else the answer, just be honest with yourself.

Who comes first in your life? Does God? Your wife? Kids? Dad and or Mom? Who?

Who is it, that as far as you are concerned, the world revolves around?

Let me get a bit more in detail, who would you protect, even while you were being tortured? Who would you offer to feed, even while you were going hungry? Who would you send your cigarette money to? How about the mortgage payment, who would you send that money to? And how desperate would they have to be? Would you force them to come begging for it first? Would you make them sign a note? Would you keep reminding them of your generosity? Or would you simply do it again the next month?

Or are you like so many, who are so wrapped up in themselves that they ignore the needs of others? Today as you read Acts four, I want you tho think about dungeons and scourging back in the days when satan through his minions in the office of high priest and roman centurion, and roman consulate, was doing everything he could to end the fledgling Christian Church. For when they arrested John and Peter and maybe other Apostles, they whipped them, beat them, tossed them chained and naked into the deepest dungeon, yet the early Christians still put Jesus first. What about you? How many of you would even give up a week's cigarette money to help a starving prisoner? a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian who is in prison for a murder he did not commit. If I gave you his address, would you visit him if you were within five hundred miles? Would you send him twenty dollars? What if I told you that he is a diabetic, a juvenile diabetic, who will not lie at any parole hearings, so he can not and will not confess to having committed a crime that he did not commit? Would you lift a finger to help him?

If not him, is there anyone? Is there anyone you put ahead of yourself? For Jesus has told us in no uncertain terms, that when we do something for one of His, we have done it for Him, Matthew 25: 31-46 . I've made it easy, but the Lord never added in "not guilty of the crime" He never mentioned "within five hundred miles". He never suggested limits of "cigarette money of a months mortgage payments".

Acts Chapter Four

1. And as they (the Apostles, Peter and John, maybe more) spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, 2 being grieved (upset, mad, furious) that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

3 And they laid hands on (arrested) them, and put them in hold (the dungeon) unto the next day: for it was now eventide. 4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. 5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes, 6 and Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. 7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, "By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?"

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them;

"Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 9 if we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole, 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 THIS (Jesus) IS THE STONE WHICH WAS SET AT NOUGHT OF YOU BUILDERS, WHICH IS BECOME THE HEAD OF THE CORNER (church) (Psalm 118:22). 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must (can possibly) be saved."

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. 14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded them (the Apostles) to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16 saying; "What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. 17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name (Jesus)."

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them: "Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. 20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. 22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed (done). 23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, "Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: 25 Who by the mouth of Thy servant David hast said, 'WHY DID THE HEATHEN RAGE, AND THE PEOPLE IMAGINE VAIN THINGS? 26 THE KINGS OF THE EARTH STOOD UP, AND THE RULERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD, AND AGAINST HIS CHRIST.'(Psalm 2:1&2)

27 For of a truth against Thy Holy Child Jesus, whom Thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28 for to do whatsoever Thy hand and Thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto Thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy word, 30 by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of Thy Holy Child Jesus."

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought(any) of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things (in) common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. (Acts 4:1-36 ACP/KJV)

It is easy to claim to be a Christian, isn't it? But, it is a bit more difficult to be and act like a Christian. There is a man in New Mexico, he get's up early each morning and waits around for me to send him the daily thought so that he can proof read it. He has been doing this for five years now. Oh yes sometimes he moans and some times he complains, but he never isn't there. And he is just a baby Christian. But, he is doing his part. He kicked out a paying tenant to make room for his kin. What about you? What are you doing to help advance God's word? What are you doing to deny anything of yourself? What are you doing to show the Lord that you appreciate all He has done for you, by sharing just a bit of the time and resources He has blessed you with?

My wife works in the public school system she does this so that this ministry can stay up, she traveled 60 miles each way for over two years so that I could finish school. She traveled 45 each way for my second two years. She lived in a cottage in the White mountains for two years, while I went to school, you could see through the walls in places, for the first three months we had no indoor plumbing, and for two weeks or so we could not get any room over forty five degrees, accept for the kitchen. And she did this when she was in her fifties. What about you? What are you doing to help advance God's word? What are you doing to deny anything of yourself? What are you doing to show the Lord that you appreciate all He has done for you, by sharing just a bit of the time and resources He has blessed you with?

Anything? Are you doing anything?

I'm going to tell you something, while this man in New Mexico gets his tired old bones out of bed each day before the crack of dawn, and my wife does likewise to get off to school, the president of these Untied States has not lifted one finger to save even one baby in the womb from the horrible slaughter known as partial birth abortion, yet, this president, never misses a chance to tell us he is saved. While President George Walker Bush signs and authorizes spending in the hundreds of millions of dollars for those that slaughter the baby in the womb, he lifts up not one finger to help those little ones. While he sponges millions from the US Taxpayer to send his wife around the world, he does not spend even one minute visiting a sick, lonely prisoner, in a dank dark jail cell.

What about you? Who do you want to be more like, the guy in New Mexico or the president?

The Lord God, He who created the heavens and the earth, help you to understand.

Amen.

Weekend of May 18th & 19th, 2002

Looks like two more one term Republicans.

Well, here in Maine, it appears that we are headed towards seeing two more Republicans serve but one term. President Bush is following in the footsteps of his dad and like his dad seems destined to be fired by the voters of this nation two years from this coming November. George the second, like George the first, seems intent on serving one term. A president rejected for a second term by the voters of this nation.

Then we have US Senator, Republican Susan Collins, a woman so like the president she idolized, William Jefferson Blythe Clinton.

What is it about these two that has cost them the support of the Republican base? They, lie. It is that plain and simple, while a democrat can get away with being a pathological liar, after all, William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, a man incapable of telling the truth, a man who lied so often that he could no longer distinguish truth from fabrication, served two terms. We, as voters, know that Democrats lie, we know it because they can not get elected by telling the truth. We know that when we elect a democrat, like Clinton, Baldacci, Allen, Kennedy, Frank and the rest of them, that when they open their mouths, lies will come out. We know it, we expect it, and we would be disappointed if they told the truth.

But, with Republicans, we expect the truth. And unlike the Democrats, whose base is one whose own issues are built on lies, homosexuals, abortionists, and the rest, the base of the Republican party are Christians and Patriots, the majority of whom expect and demand that they be told the truth.

For, we, the base of the Republican party, follow Jesus, the God of light, the God of truth. But the majority of the Democrats follow satan, the god of abortion, the god of lies, the god of evolution, the god of homosexuals and homosexuality.

(John 3:16-21 ACP/KJV)

The fact that the Republican base will not tolerate lies, deceit and the support of satan's agenda by those elected on a platform of conservative and Christian Republican ideals, is so well known here in Maine, that Chellie Pingree, the woman running as a Democrat for the Senate seat held by Republican one termer Susan Collins, is building her campaign o n the promise of telling the truth, of never lying. Susan Collins has become so well known as a liar, that the Democrat running against her is not only counting on solid Republican base voters to blank the race in disgust at Collins, but is now actively seeking those Republican votes in November. And you know what, I'm going to vote for her. I am not going to just blank the race, I am going to cast my vote against Collins, I am going to vote for Democrat Chelli Pingree who tells me she will tell the truth, that she will not lie.

Now, I admit that a Democrat promising not to lie seems a bit like one of those oxymoron things, but, with Pingree, maybe, just maybe we will have US Senator that will occasionally tell the truth, something Susan Collins like Bill Clinton has proved by her words and her actions that she, Collins, is incapable of doing.

I want to give you just two examples of Collins betrayals of the things we hold dear.

On two occasions the House and the Senate approved a ban on partial birth abortion, in both cases Clinton vetoed them, in both cases, the house with the help of many Democrats, none of which came from the Northeast, overrode his veto. In both instances, the Senate fell short of overriding Clinton veto by two votes. Susan Collins' office told us that her calls came in eleven to one for the ban. Yet, even though she had sworn to us that she opposed partial birth abortion and would vote to ban it, she didn't, she voted against overriding Clinton's veto. She did this not once, but twice. This woman built her campaign and got our votes by telling us that she, with her vote, would help us end partial birth abortion, yet when it came time for her vote, she voted to continue the slaughter. She voted against banning the slaughter of babies who are 95% delivered, with only the top of their little heads still within the mother, and then having a pair of scissors shoved into the base of their skulls, grabbing the babies brains, and twisting and removing them, killing the thrashing baby up through the ninth month.

The second instance involves the impeachment and removal of Clinton from office. Collins had assured us that if the crime(s) against Clinton were serious enough (according to the US Constitution), she would vote to remove him. The crime proved against Clinton was Perjury, a felony.

The Constitution reads: "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

Collins, with a smile on her face, told us that perjury, a felony, was not as serious as a misdemeanor, like spitting on the sidewalk.

President Bush the second is following in those same footsteps, while he is lovable and we really do want to support, him and will continue to pray for him, the case against him as a liar is starting to be overwhelming. He, like his dad seems more content and inclined to do the bidding of the leftist in the Senate and the House than those who put him in the White house. He has time to push through the pet projects of the NEA, both of them, the Socialized medicine crowd and the rest on the left, but after fifteen months, Planned Parenthood is still getting tons of tax dollars and partial birth abortion is still 'legal'. The restrictions placed against Christian Chaplains in the military by Clinton, prohibiting the preaching of abortion, homosexuality and idolatry as sins punishable by death, are still in place.

While I will not vote for the likes of Gore, Daschle or Gephardt, for they are known liars and baby haters as well, I will have no trouble blanking the Presidential race in 2004 or voting for a third party candidate. But this coming November, I will not blank the US Senate race here in Maine, I will vote for the Democrat, because Susan Collins has proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that she is not only a liar, but can not be trusted with the mantel of US Senator.

The Lord tells us that we will know those who are Saved by their works, He also tells that we will know those who are satan's by their works.

And before any of you tell me that I should never vote for a Democrat, let me remind you of something using the half brother of the Lord's own words: Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? James 2:25 As for me, I will work to fire the known baby hating liar, Collins. And give the woman whose party is a whore, a chance. For as where the spies saved by a harlot, maybe the baby in the womb can be saved by Democrat Pinegree.

The Lord be with you all,

Amen.

Reap that which thou soweth

There are many people who will swear up and down that "Reap that which thou soweth" is in the Bible, it is! And, as Gods word states, and we all know, we do reap that which we sow.

For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:5-8 ACP/KJV)

And a perfect example of this is the entertainment industry. For years the movies, televison, music and other forms of entertainment have done everything in their power to destroy the moral compass of this nation and the world as a whole. They have worked hard to convince the youth of the world that there are not rights and wrongs, that there is no God, that we were not created in God's image, but instead evolved from pond scum and monkey dung. And now they are reaping the fruit of their labors. "God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

Now that they have destroyed, to a great extent, the honesty and integrity of this nation and earth, they are reaping that which they have sown. They are reaping the just rewards of their lies, thieveries and deceit. As some of you may know, new multi million dollar movies, like the new Star Wars movie, clones or something, are being bootlegged, put on the internet and downloaded by millions who will never buy a ticket, rent a video or buy the video because they have a stolen copy free. "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;"

And the entertainment industry is upset. They are complaining because people are stealing their product. They are beside themselves because music is being copied, videos are bing copied, books, art and all other forms of art and entertainment are being stolen. Stolen by those same folks that the entertainment industry worked so hard to convince that they were not subject to the laws, that there is nothing wrong, that you can do anything you want. That there is no heaven or hell to fear, no God of judgement.

So, while you and I who are saved, reap that which we do not deserve, salvation. The entertainment industry is reaping their just rewards by having those that they have taught to have no regard for the belongings of others having their own products stolen and handed out free over the internet.

For while they reap the results of the sewerage that they sowed, we, the Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, reap that which the Lord has sowed.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. (John 4:37) For you see, what Jesus sowed with His precious Blood, we who He calls and answers, reap the crop He planted, Salvation. For as the entertainment and political industries of this earth reap the corruption, lies and deceit that they sowed with their lies and moral degeneracy, we reap the Salvation and holiness that the Lord sowed with His Blood.

Praise the living and Holy God, Messiah Yeshua.

Amen.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted,

It was just about one thousand, nine hundred and seventy three years ago that the Apostles Peter and John gave that advice. It was good solid advice then and it still is today. What strikes me as ironic, is how few actually heed this advice. When I think of the glory of heaven, when I think of how wonderful it will be to spend all eternity with the Lord, not as a slave, but as His brother, the adapted son of God Almighty, I can not fathom why so few come to the Lord.

When I close my eyes and try to imagine the horrors of an eternity in the lake of fire, I can not imagine why so many are so willing to follow pedophile priest and idol worshiping cardinals and popes there. The choice is so simple, it is a no brainer. Yet the majority of mankind will spend all eternity in the lake of fire, for there aint no purgatory. Don't you wonder why?

Why is it that so many reject the saving power of the Blood of Jesus and instead select the eternal flame, pain, filth, and outer darkness of eternity with satan in the lake of fire? The reason is really threefold and simple. First, is the pulpits, when was the last time your preacher preached about heaven and hell? Has he preached hell and the lake of fire enough that you have some idea of what it will be like? Has he preached heaven enough that you can answer this simple question; Where will you, who are in heaven, eat each meal? Can you list five major differences between eternity with Christ and eternity with satan?

The second reason is even simpler, laziness! The vast majority of the world is to lazy to open a bible and search Scripture for themselves.

And the third reason is found in the words of the Holy One, the Lamb of God, the Messiah, Yeshua.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved, he that believeth on Him is not condemned:

but

he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that Light (Yeshua) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were (are) evil.

For every one that does evil hates the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:17-21 ACP/KJV)

So, as we read and study Acts chapter three today, let us keep in mind, the roman catholics, the jews, the muslims and the others who put their faith in other than the Lord God Creator of the heavens and the earth. Let us keep them in mind and let us pray God to raise up a Paul for the pope followers, the rabbi followers and those who offer up their children as suicide bombers.

Acts Chapter Three

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour (3;PM to sunset). 2 And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask (beg for) alms (money, food, clothing or whatever) of them that entered into the temple. 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, "Look on us." 5 And he (the lame beggar) gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.:

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, "Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified His Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, when he (Pilate, see John 19:12) was determined to let Him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16 And His name through faith in His name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by Him(Jesus)hath given him (the lame beggar) this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren, I wot (know) that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 18 But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should (must) suffer, He (Jesus) hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing (time you stand before God for judgement) shall come from the presence of the Lord;

20 And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A PROPHET SHALL THE LORD YOUR GOD RAISE UP UNTO YOU OF YOUR BRETHREN, LIKE UNTO ME; HIM SHALL YE HEAR IN ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER HE SHALL SAY UNTO YOU. 23 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT EVERY SOUL, WHICH WILL NOT HEAR THAT PROPHET, SHALL BE DESTROYED FROM AMONG THE PEOPLE (Deuteronomy 18:15 & 18&19).

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. 25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed(Genesis 12:3). 26 Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. (Acts 12:1-26 ACP/KJV)

Today, I would ask you to pray for Missy, pray for the Major US Army Ret. who is suffering depression, the babies in Theresa's and Kirstern's wombs. For the salvation of Danny, Sean, Howard and Michael. And to thank God and praise His holy name for seeing the Lieutenant's (now a Captain) wife through her pregnancy and a happy healthy baby.

Take a moment to check this out: click here. Thanks Steve.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you all.

Amen.

...they that gladly received his word...

Let me ask a question, let this question be to those of you who are citizens of these once great United States. For my question is this;

If President George Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell are so convinced that the murdering blood thirsty Palestinians deserve and are entitled to their own state, a state under the leadership of Arafat, a state that harbors and protects, arms and supplies, feeds and supports armed terrorist including suicidal homicidal maniac bombers, then why don't they offer them Kansas? For Arafat and his fellows, seem to hate Israel, it's people and it's leadership. But they seem to worship the ground that Powell and Bush walk on. So, why not a Palestinian state in the heartland of these United States? Why not Kansas.

Acts Chapter Two

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they (the Apostles and those with them in chapter one of Acts) were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto (over, as suspended above their heads) them cloven (split, as a animals hoof is split in two) tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon (over, as suspended above their heads) each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling (visiting) at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad (told around Jerusalem that these men where speaking in different languages and had fiery cloven tongues over their heads), the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, "Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God."

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, "What meaneth this?" 13 Others mocking said, "These men are full of new wine."

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, "Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day (between 9:AM and noon). 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, SAITH GOD, I WILL POUR OUT OF MY SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH: AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS: 18 AND ON MY SERVANTS AND ON MY HANDMAIDENS I WILL POUR OUT IN THOSE DAYS OF MY SPIRIT; AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY: 19 AND I WILL SHEW WONDERS IN HEAVEN ABOVE, AND SIGNS IN THE EARTH BENEATH; BLOOD, AND FIRE, AND VAPOUR OF SMOKE: 20 THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THAT GREAT AND NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME: 21 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED. (Joel 2:28-32)

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it. 25 For David speaketh concerning Him,

I FORESAW THE LORD ALWAYS BEFORE MY FACE, FOR HE IS ON MY RIGHT HAND, THAT I SHOULD NOT BE MOVED: 26 THEREFORE DID MY HEART REJOICE, AND MY TONGUE WAS GLAD; MOREOVER ALSO MY FLESH SHALL REST IN HOPE: 27 BECAUSE THOU WILT NOT LEAVE MY SOUL IN HELL, NEITHER WILT THOU SUFFER THINE HOLY ONE TO SEE CORRUPTION. 28 THOU HAST MADE KNOWN TO ME THE WAYS OF LIFE; THOU SHALT MAKE ME FULL OF JOY WITH THY COUNTENANCE. (Psalm 16:8-11)

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in hell, neither His flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, THE LORD SAID UNTO MY LORD, SIT THOU ON MY RIGHT HAND, 35 UNTIL I MAKE THY FOES THY FOOTSTOOL. (Psalm 110:1) 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" 38 Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, "Save yourselves from this untoward generation." 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:

and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 praising God, and having favour with all the people.

And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:1-47 ACP/KJV)

While there are many a point that can be made within the 47 verses of Acts two, there are two points that I would like to make, actually three.

The first is this: With the Holy Ghost, all things are possible, even when the possibility exist that it could be two things at once; let's go back to verses 4-6:

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling (visiting) at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad (told around Jerusalem that these men where speaking in different languages and had fiery cloven tongues over their heads), the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language".

Think about that for a moment, the Holy Ghost came and presented Himself over them as split tongues that were on fire. And then one of two or perhaps both things happened, either the men speaking, were speaking in languages that they were previously unable to speak, such as Greek, Roman, Parthinian, etc or, or many be and, those from foreign lands heard them speak in their own language even though they were all speaking in the Galilean dialect of Hebrew. Neat huh?

Since the Holy Ghost can do that, He can easily do what I am going to ask you to pray Him to do. I would like to ask you to each ask the Holy Ghost to open the eyes of Danny and Sean. To get them to understand how badly their earthly father needs them. One lives within eight hours of him and easily could visit once a month, the other lives at home, has no real expenses, earns over 35,000 a year and could easily afford to fly out and visit him once a month. Neither has visited him in over five years.

The second thing I would like you to focus on is how important it is for one to come to Christ voluntarily. Yesterday I made note of how neither Jesus nor any of His Apostles ever beat anyone into accepting the Lord, yet first the Jews, then the Romans, then the Roman Catholic Church and the Muslims, have killed millions to keep them away from a saving knowledge of the Christ.

The importance of coming voluntarily is also today's title; "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:" Verse 41.

We can't beat, argue or bribe anyone into a saving knowledge of the Lord, for it is only those who come gladly, that receive his word are baptized: gladly means freely, voluntarily and in love. Baptized means, baptized in the Holy Spirit, not dunked in water. What the RC's and the Muslims don't understand is that they can not keep one from freely accepting the Lord and being saved, all they can do, at worse or best depending upon how you look at it, is send them to the Lord by killing them. And that is why I do not fear the UN's or the US's secret, Christian murdering, abortionists protecting, satan worshiping, secret police.

The final point I want to make is this, in verses 44 and 45

"And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need."

These two verses are used over and over by those left wing liars who claim that this is proof that we, here in the US of A, are to be socialist. For they claim that since these men sold all and split it up, giving equal shares to all, that we, as a "Christian" nation, must do the same. What they conveniently over look is that the actions in verses 44 and 45 were done voluntarily not under the threat of death, property confiscation, or imprisonment as practiced by the US Government using their lackeys in the IRS.

So today think about what our government is doing to Israel, pray to the Lord asking Him to open the eyes of Danny and Sean, and remember we are a Republic and not a communist fascist democracy. And speak softly to one heathen today letting him or her know that Christ will only come to them, if they ask Him to. Also continue to ask the Lord's help, guidance and protection for the babies in Theresa's womb and Kirsten's womb and the continued health of the Lieutenants (now a Captain) baby.

And those of you out there in Kansas, well, if President Bush and the Secretary of State Powell really are as in love with Arafat and his blood thirsty gang as they claim, clean up your guest rooms, you are about to have company.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua, be with you all,

amen.

It is better to say: "Lord who do you want?"

Before we get into the Book of Acts, there are a couple of things I would like to mention. I would like you to think about this, neither Jesus nor any of His Apostles ever killed or tortured anyone to get them to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Yet, to this day, the forces of the evil one, kill to keep the word of God out of people's hands. First it was the Jews, then the Romans then the Roman Catholics and now the muslims. I can not help but wonder how many Christians have been killed in an effort to get them to recant, to deny the Living God, Messiah Yeshua. As we go through the book of Acts, we are going to read about one who tortured and killed Christians, and then became one himself. Oh to God that the pope would accept Christ and be a Paul unto his pagan followers, turning the Roman Catholic hordes from the idol worshiping Christ denying church it is, and to the Lord Jesus. Oh to God that He would raise a Paul amongst the muslim horde to lead those poor lost souls to Christ and away from satan.

And now let us turn to Chapter one of the book of the Acts of the Apostles as written by Dr. Luke.

Acts Chapter One

1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen: 3 To whom also He showed himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, "Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?" 7 And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven."

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. 13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren (Jesus' half-brothers, James, and Jude and possibly Jesus' other brothers Jose and Simon, see Matthew 13:54-56).

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 16 "Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric let another take.

21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that He was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of His resurrection."

23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24 And they prayed, and said, "Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, 25 that he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. (Acts 1:1-26 ACP/KJV)

Have you ever felt so good about something that you let the feeling carry you away and you did something that perhaps you shouldn't have or maybe took a bit more authority upon your own shoulders than you should have? Well, that seems to be what happened to the eleven remaining Apostles. After they had seen Jesus ascend up into heaven. Peter, James, John, Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James, seem to have taken things into there own hands.

Instead of going to the Lord in prayer and saying, Lord, we are one Apostle short, would You let us have a twelfth? They instead, choose two from amongst themselves, and then went to the Lord in prayer saying: "Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen". Then they flipped a coin so to speak, expecting the Lord to choose between only these two and let them know by the sign of heads or tails, which would replace the traitor Judas Iscariot. Of course as we will see later in the Book of Acts, the Lord had another in mind to replace Judas the traitor.

Let's never try and put the Lord in a box guys, let's try never to give the Lord a choice, instead, let us just leave it up to Him. As many of you know, we are at this time praying for three babies, three little ones sleeping peacefully in the wombs of three women. I don't even know if the mothers of these three are saved or not, it just seems to be that the Lord has brought these three into our lives, to pray for. One of the three, I don't even know her name, only that her husband is a Lieutenant in the Army stationed at Fort Knox. The other two are Theresa and Kirsten. Theresa and Kirsten are both due in October, as for the Lieutenant's wife, I don't know. But this I do know, we are not praying that they will be boys, nor are we praying that they will be girls. What we are praying is that they will be the Lord's. That from the moment of conception, from the moment that He placed them, as a little speck, in the wombs of these three women, they would be His. For nothing is more important than salvation. Nothing is more important than for these three little ones to be Born Again, for he who is born once, dies twice. But, he who is born twice, dies but once.

Remember guys, even when you are as close to the Lord as His Apostles were, it is best to still leave things up to the Lord, always saying, "Thy will be done Lord, not mine, but Thine."

Amen.

Weekend of Mothers Day 2002, May 11th& 12th, 2002

Tis Mothers day 2002.

Over the last week, I have indirectly, been leading up to this weekend, Mothers Day. How might you ask does, martyrs, abortion, homosexuals and lesbians and illegitimate children lead up to Mothers Day?

Well, let us think for a moment, how often does a mom suffer for her children, does it not start even before she is in the travails of delivery? Does she not cry when you stubbed your toe or cut your teeth? Did she not suffer as deep as you, if not deeper, when someone said something cruel to you? Was she not the one who tried so desperately to absolve you of and absorb your pain? Did she not read you Bible stories as a child? So, was she any less the Martyrs than John Huss?

How could abortion possibly lead us to mothers day and your mom? Simple, if you were born after February of 1973, your mom was under a tremendous amount of political and social pressure to abort you, yet, she choose life and protection for you, not death and destruction as a blood sacrificial offering to satan.

As for homosexuality, lesbianism and illegitimacy. In these last forty years or so, young women in the US have come under tremendous pressure to choose relationships with other women, they are pressured daily to choose careers over families and to forgo waiting and chastity for the fleeting hollow satisfaction of promiscuous sexual relationships. But your mom choose instead to stay chaste and pure till your dad and she were married and conceived you, not out of lust, but out of love. Love so strong that they put aside the lust of this world and instead waited till they were wed in the eyes of the Lord. (see Gen 24:67)

So, dad's how should you reward and celebrate the woman who gave birth to and became a mother to your children?

God tells us, how we as husbands are to recognize our wives for what they have done, not for just one day a year, but for 365 1/4 days a year. He dictated it to His servant Paul, who later put it to parchment in his letter to the Ephesians.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

(and) So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of His body, of his flesh, and of His bones.

For this cause (reason) shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. (Ephesians 5:25-33)

So, how do we reward our wives? Well, to answer that, let me ask you a question, Do you love your wife every bit as much as you love your eyes? Would you offer up your eye sight and your arms for your wife? If so, show her. Let her know that you love her just as the Lord loves His church, that you love her just as much as you love any other part of your body, even more.

The Lord be with you guys, and, instead of flowers, give her love and protection, the love and protection you have for your eyes in a sand storm and your hands when working with a table saw.

Amen.

The family...

I would like to take a moment to talk about families today. When I was a lad, back about fifty years ago, the definition of family was pretty simple, it was, as it had been for the previous 5950 years or so, one dad, one mom and a bunch of brothers and sisters. An extended family included your dads mom and dad, your moms dad and mom their brothers and sisters and kids.

Today, it is a different story, in today's society we call two homosexuals living together, a family. Two homosexuals and their adopted or foster kids, a family. The same for lesbians and men and women just shacking up. We call a child that is really a bastard, a love child. Imagine, two lesbians living together, one gets upset, goes out and sleeps with a guy, she gets pregnant, the pregnant one goes back to her lesbian shack up, the pregnant one has the baby, I guess we should thank God for that, and then the two lesbians call the illegitimate bastard a love child. And today, politically correct society calls the three of them are called a family.

To make matters worse, of the families that are still traditional families, one dad, one mom and a few kids, almost one half of them end in at least one divorce.

While the roman catholic church, sprouts foolishness like, "love the sinner and hate the sin", they openly recruit and turn into priest, homosexuals who have a sick love for little children of their own sex. And then rc after rc, goes to these child raping, pope worshiping anti-Christ serving black souled heathens asking and expecting them to intervene between God and them, to forgive them for their sins. Try to get this straight, a young boy, let's say he is 18, goes to his friendly neighborhood rc priest, and confesses, that he has dreams for some girl in his class. This young boy has gone to a priest who if not himself, has close friends and associates who are, same sex child rapers, and this youngsters has gone to him to be forgiven for his natural feelings? He has gone to one who serves idolatry and satan asking for God the Fathers forgiveness?

Did you know that in most of the USA today, adultery is legal. A guy comes in your house and steals your tv, you can shoot him, a guy comes in steals your wife and you can't even sue him. Think about it, you call the phone guy, he comes in and uses your power drill cause he left his at the shop, he forgets to return it and steals it, you call the cops, they go out find the guy, find your drill and put the telephone guy in jail. If some guy comes in your house in the middle of the night, and you wake up catching him going out the door with the family am radio, you take out your 12 gauge and ventilate him with a couple of deer slugs. Tis ok, your within your legal rights. Yet, a friend whom you trust comes in, seduces your wife, and you can't even sue him, it isn't against the law, it is a moral thing. He stole your wife and you can do nothing but cry.

And we wonder why kids are messed up?

We, as a society, have so messed up this world that only God can straighten it out. I for one do not have the slightest idea of where even to start. Other than to turn to God and throw the whole mess back into His hands, upon His shoulders.

Do you know what a family is? Do you know how to teach your kids and your wife what a family is suppose to be? Do you know what Scripture explains family?, the kids role?, mom's role? and dad's role? Can you take a minute out of your life to pray for your family? Can you take an extra minute and pray for them individually? Can you take just one more minute and pray for my family? How about one more minute and pray for the families in this country that are strong Christian families. And per adventure, if you will allow me, could you take just one more minute and pray for the salvation of President Bush's wife and daughters, his family? And not wanting to over burden you, but, if you would just allow me one more little request, how about taking just one more minute and pray for the families in the USA who are lost. Allow me to ask just one more thing and I will hold my peace, would you take one more minute and pray for the Israeli families that have had children killed because our government insisted on giving the murdering butchering arafat one more chance to push for peace as the leader of his barbaric regime.

Do you know the Scripture that taught me how to ask like that?

Maybe getting to understand todays thought and understanding what a family is, is just one more good reason to read your bible.

The Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua be with you and bless you, may He work within your family to make it into part of His family.

Amen.

Do this in REMEMBRANCE of Me...

Have we ever discussed the importance of taking communion? Have we ever seriously looked at the meaning, significance and importance of taking communion? Let us do so today. And there is no better place to start than in Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, so let us go there.

¶ Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions (groupings or clicks) among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies (factions and fractions) among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What?, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in?, or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.

After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew (remember) the Lord's death till He come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. (1 Corinthians 11:17-29 ACP/KJV)

Let us start with the first paragraph,

"Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions (groupings or cliques) among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies (factions and fractions) among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you."

Paul is taking the Corinthian church to task, he is accusing them of becoming a church made up of cliques, one in which there are different groups hanging around together to the exclusion of all others who are not part of a particular group or clique. He goes on to complain that there are many coming together in communion for the wrong reasons, and worse yet, making things up, twisting scripture, causing heresies. Have any of you ever attended communion in a church like Roman Catholicism, where they claim that the communion wafer is really the body of Christ being broken all over again? Or perhaps one of the leftist protestant churches that denounces the need for repentance but treats communion as if it were just some sort of ritual? Well, this is kind of thing that Paul is referring to.

Let us go to the second paragraph:

"When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What?, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in?, or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not."

Look at what Paul is saying here, He is accusing them of not coming for communion, but to party, but worse yet to party within their own little cliques. Those that have food, ignoring those who are without, and some even getting drunk. He then says, what's the matter with you, don't you have homes that you can do these things in? Do you so despise the word of God and the Lord Jesus that you make a sham over His crucifixion? Are you here to embarrass those who don't have as much as you? Paul goes on saying, "shall I praise you in this? I praise you not".

Now that Paul has their attention, now that he has rebuked them, now he will teach them. Teach them the true meaning of communion, and how it should be done. Let us read and learn.

"For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me."

As Paul reminds them of the circumstances surrounding what the Lord had said at the last supper, he quotes the Lord, reminding them that this is not the re-crucifixion of the Lord, but is done to remind us of how much Jesus loved us. That the bread is not the Lord's body, but to remind us of how the Lord gave His body for our salvation. "Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me."

Paul goes on:

"After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me."

Once again clarifying that by the drinking of the cup, you are not drinking the Lord's blood, you are drinking wine to remind you that Jesus bleed for you. "This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me."

Now Paul is going to give them a strong and serious statement and warning, he is going to make a statement to them first:

"For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew (remember) the Lord's death till He come."

And a very serious warning to those who abuse, misrepresent or impugn the communion in any way shape or form. Let us look at Paul's warning:

"Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body."

"Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." Who is that, that is unworthy? Read the next sentence to see:

"But let a man examine himself" Let a man examine himself means look into yourself, do you have sin, confess it to the Lord silently. Ask His forgiveness for those things you have said, done, thought and dreamt that have been offensive to the Lord. But, make sure you are Born Again, for if you are not, you are not going to the Lord in silent confession, you are going to satan. And then look at the last sentence to see what you are doing if you are taking communion other than as a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian: "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body."

For he or she that takes communion unjustly, is not drinking a cup to remind them of the Lord's shedding of Blood, nor is he or she eating a bit of bread to remind themselves of the sacrifice the Lord made on our behalf, but is instead eating and drinking damnation. When a roman catholic takes communion, he or she is claiming that they are re-crucifying the Lord, they are damning themselves.

Taking communion is not a sad thing, my brothers, it is a happy thing, oh yes, serious, but happy. For had not the Lord given His body and shed His Blood, you and I would have no way to attain salvation, we would be lost. What possible thing could there be to make you more happy than that which gave you salvation? Salvation if you are a Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian.

The Lord God, Creator of heaven and earth be with you, may He bless you and keep you safe, may He give you the strength to put Him first, first ahead of popes and principalities, glory and riches, love and acceptance by the people of this world. And may you all, who are saved, take a moment and ask the Lord to bring to salvation the babies who are in the lieutenants wives womb, Theresa's womb and Kirsten's womb. May He bless the J.K's mom and dad for having him and may He bring them all to salvation. May He open the eyes and bring to salvation Tammy, Diane, Glenda, Suzanne, Jeanne, Eddy, Sean, Danny, Howard and Michael. May He deal with and bring to repentance Warren's brother, Rick, Jean, Kay and my uncles, aunts, cousins and kin who are still locked into the idolatry and paganism of the roman catholic church. And may He be with Missy and help her in the times when she is down and depressed.

Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Amen.

Ten good reasons to read your bible

I think I can give you ten really good reasons to read your Bible. I think the cost of your bible might just be unknown to you, for you see, Bibles have not always been so easy to get:

1. Yeshua, God, a bit over two thousand years ago, God left the comforts of His throne room in heaven came to earth to suffer and shed His blood, so that you and I could have His word so that we could understand and attain salvation. But the Lord was not the last to shed His blood, - no, He was but the first and most important, for without His shed blood none of the rest would have any reason to shed theirs.

2. James, Apostle, 36 AD, beheaded.

3. Simon the Zealot, 45 AD crucified

4. Peter, Apostle 60 AD, crucified upside down.

5. Philip, Apostle 65 AD, stoned and then crucified, but not him alone, his daughters as well.

6. James. The brother of the Lord, 66 AD, thrown off the pinnacle of the temple to his death by the high council.

7. Ignatius 110 AD feed to the lions.

8. John Wickliff 1415 AD burnt at the stake.

9. John Huss 1415 AD burnt at the stake.

10. William Tyndale 1536 AD burnt at the stake.

God and these nine men paid with their blood, for the bible you have in your home. Don't you wonder what's in it that so many have died to pay for it and so many others, including the Roman Catholic church have been so willing to kill to keep you from reading it. For you see, John Wickliff, John Huss and William Tyndale were just a few of the thousands who the pope declared heretics and ordered to death for their work in making the bible available to the common man in the language of that common man.

The writer of Hebrews tells us why so many found the word of God worth shedding their blood for and why others so hate it that they will kill to keep the common man from reading it, even today in the Sudan, Egypt, China, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, and other places in the world, men are killed to keep the word of God out of the hands of the common man. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Is there any other book in your house that anyone has died to get into your hands? Any other book that men have killed to keep from you? The Lord be with and bless you all this day. Amen.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live!!!

Today's thought deals with the issue of whether or not Christians should oppose laws legalizing abortion and can and should Christians use deadly force in preventing a baby trapped in the womb from being ripped apart and offered down to satan as a blood sacrifice by satan's high priest, the witches called abortionists.

Because of the nature of today's thought, it is neither for children nor to be reprinted by anyone anywhere. Today's thought is protected by the copyright laws of the USA.

God bless,
Bob

Today is not a day for me to preach, it is a day for me to ask. Ask you what you understand and believe. Understand this, I do not care what you think, I don't care what you feel. Your thinking and your feelings could be the results of last night's pepperoni pizza or fresh strawberry short cake. What I want are your comments based upon the word of God. And then only after you have been on your knees asking His guidance.

Here we go, three questions to start with and then Scripture for you to begin with and then a final closing statement/question.

First question: How far should a Christian go to stop an abortion? Should we use deadly force?

Second question: Were we wrong to revolt against England and win our freedom in the revolutionary war, even though we were a lawfully owned colony of Great Britian and the English crown?

Third question: Was it wrong for a small group of men to incite a nation to war to free the slaves and end slavery, even though slavery was legal?

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Exodus 22:18

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Deuteronomy 18:10

¶ And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, "When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live."

But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, "Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?" And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, "Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive." And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children." Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?" And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go." And the maid went and called the child's mother. And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, "Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages." And the woman took the child, and nursed it. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son.

And she called his name Moses: Exodus 1:15 through 2:10

Question: Since the legal authority of Egypt had ordered all male children to be killed, killed as they were being delivered, exactly like partial birth abortion today. Should the midwives have obeyed? Should Pharaohs daughter have ordered the Hebrew child she found thrown to the crocodiles?

¶ Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, and laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, "Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told, saying, "The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within."

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. Then came one and told them, saying, "Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people."

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, saying, "Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us." Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men." Acts 5:17-29

Question: Since the high priest and his gang were the legitimate governing authority shouldn't Peter and the other Apostles have obeyed them?

Now, let me just say this, if it is wrong to use deadly force to prevent the slaughter of a baby in the womb, by the witches, the high priests of satan who do abortions, should we not give ourselves back to England and re-enslave every Negro in this country and within US owned territories? For why was it right to fight a war for freedom for ourselves and our black brethren while it is wrong to fight to free the baby in the womb from slaughter?

If we as Christians are not willing to fight to save the baby in the womb, should we then not do what we have found legal in the past? Should we not separate ourselves from the nation that kills babies? Should we not look to the four corners of this country, pick one, move there en-mass, take it over politically, establish a constitution based upon the US constitution, but with clarifications of what welfare means, what freedom of religion means, what commerce means. Etc. Should we then not make laws based upon the Word of God in which we claim to adhere and believe?

For we know that if we were to do such, and we did it in faith and believe in the Lord, the Lord would drive out before us, the muslims, the buddhists, the naturalists, the worshipers of satan, the high priests of satan, the jews, the indians and all others who deny the Deity of our Lord and Saviour Messiah Yeshua.

¶ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Now, remember, comments based upon the word of God. And then only after you have been on your knees asking His guidance.

May the Lord be with you. And may you keep in mind, this thought is not to be reprinted anywhere. This thought is for those who attend the Church for the American Christian who is a Patriot only and is protected by US copyright. If it be illegal to save a baby in the womb from the high priest of satan, the abortionist, based upon the government saying abortion is legal and protected, than you must obey and serve that same government by obeying its copyright laws as well and not reprinting this thought.

Amen.

Weekend of May 4th and 5th, 2002

But - as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD

As you may have noticed, this weekend, I am asking you to take a moment to pray for a man going into the hospital for heart problems. I would also like you to take a moment and read today's Scripture, Joshua Chapter twenty-four. For in this weekend's reading, we will see something very important, a question and an answer. As Joshua asked his congregation this question and gave this answer 3,365 years ago, so do I pose the same to you today: first Joshua said, "choose you this day whom ye will serve;" in so, he was asking "Who are you going to serve?" He then went on and said: "but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD"

I pose the same to you, who are you serving? Everyone has to make a choice of who they will serve, Yeshua or satan. As for me and my house, we will serve Yeshua. For you see, if you have not chosen to serve Jesus, there is no need for you to pray for Bill. For who are you praying to? The last thing Bill needs is for anyone to beseech satan for him, life is tough enough without having satan breathing down the necks of the doctors and surgeons cutting him open. But, if you, like me have chosen to serve the true Messiah, the Living God, Yeshua, then take moment and ask the Lord to be in that operating room with Bill and the medical staff. Ask him to comfort Bill's wife and family as they wait outside. And take a minute to pray for the babies in the wombs of Theresa, Kirsten, and the Lieutenants wife.

Joshua Chapter Twenty Four

1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers;

and they presented themselves before God. 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, "Thus saith the LORD God of Israel,

Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. 3 And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.

4 And I gave unto Isaac, Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 6 And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.

7 And when they cried unto the LORD, He (Jesus) put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.

9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you: 10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.

11 And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand. 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drove them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow. 13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and olive yards which ye planted not do ye eat.

14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood (Red Sea), and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:

but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

16 And the people answered and said,

"God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, He it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for He is our God."

19 And Joshua said unto the people, "Ye cannot serve the LORD: for He is an holy God; He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that He hath done you good."

21 And the people said unto Joshua, "Nay; but we will serve the LORD."

22 And Joshua said unto the people, "Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve Him." And they said, "We are witnesses."

23 "Now therefore put away," said he(Joshua), "The strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel." 24 And the people said unto Joshua, "The LORD our God will we serve, and His voice will we obey."

25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD. 27 And Joshua said unto all the people, "Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which He spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God."

28 So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance. 29 And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. 30 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.

31 And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived (outlived) Joshua, and which had known all the works of the LORD, that He had done for Israel.

32 And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph. 33 And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim. (Joshua Chapter twenty-four ACP/KJV)

May our Lord be with you all this weekend. And if for some reason any of you have not chosen Jesus, let me suggest that today would be a fine time to do it. This is all you have to do:

Go to the Lord in prayer, tell Him that you know and believe that He is the Son of God, tell Him that you are a sinner and not worthy of His forgiveness, but that you are asking Him to forgive you anyhow. Confess your sins to Him, ask Him to take control of your life, and then thank Him and tell to someone else that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, one and the same with God and that you have given your life to Him.

Do that, mean it and you are Saved. Do it and don't mean it and the results are the same as if you had never done it, you are damned!

So, today, choose you whom you will serve, Jesus or satan. The default is satan and damnation, not the Lord and Salvation. To be saved, you must choose to give your life to Jesus!

The Lord help you all.

Amen.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.

Yes, the Lord God Creator of all things, gives and at times takes away. Does He take away to be mean? No, He takes away, much as a parent who loves his child, takes away things as punishment. Not to deny that child, but to correct that child.

Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed. This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri, ... (Joshua 13:1&2 ACP/KJV)

In Joshua 13, we see that Joshua is no longer a youngster, but is getting old. And for the next 6 plus chapters, God continues through His dictation to the writer of Joshua, to define the borders of the land He gave to the decedents of Abraham's son Isaac, and through Isaac's son Jacob to Jacobs 12 sons. I think it is extremely important for you to read those chapters, for in a book as small as the Bible, you had best believe that God did not put in stuff just to fill space, but instead put things in that needed to be put there for you. But, for this study, we are going to jump ahead, to see why God takes things away.

Joshua Chapter Thirteen

1 And it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age. 2 And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age:

3 And ye have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto all these nations because (for) of you; for the LORD your God is He that hath fought for you. 4 Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea (Mediterranean) westward. 5 And the LORD your God, He shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the LORD your God hath promised unto you.

6 Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; 7 that ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: 8 But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day. 9 For the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day. 10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, He it is that fighteth for you, as He hath promised you.

11 Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God. 12 Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: 13 Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. 15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. 16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which He commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which He hath given unto you. (Joshua 23:1-16 ACP/KJV)

Did you know that Lief Erickson was a Christian?

Did you know that every last one of the European explorers that came to this nation back when it was in the hands of the heathen natives was a Christian?

Now that you know that, do you see the similarity between the USA and Israel? Do you see how God gave His people, the Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Born Again Christians of the times of John Huss and others who followed the teachings of Wycliff, and other Christian Martyrs this land. Do you know enough about US history to understand that until the time of Abraham Lincoln this was a solid Christian nation?

Do you understand that since the time of the first openly communist president, Franklin Roosevelt and his openly bi-sexual satan worshiping wife Eleanor, this country has been sliding straight down hill?

Do you not realize that after what this nation did to Jesus in 1962 and again in 1973 when the USA turned from God and started offering, legally, the blood of the innocent baby in the womb, as a blood sacrifice on the alter of satan as a blood sacrifice to satan, by legalizing the horrific slaughter of the baby in the womb by government paid and protected abortionists.

I have said this before and I will say it again, I am not a prophet, nor am I the son of a prophet, but, one does not need to be a prophet to read Scripture and see the handwriting on the wall. Unless we as a nation and we as individuals, get back to being Christians, we are going to leave our children and grandchildren one debased and devastated country. We have turned from Christ, the vast majority of this country now worship some form of satan, some call him allah, others call him the great spirit, still others mother nature, and the list goes on. We have religions in this country that not only deny Christ, but instead offer up a choice of gods for their followers, they can choose this satan or that satan, as long as they choose satan. We have become so sick and debased, that we can not even address the corruptness and child rape by the priest of the Roman Catholic Church without fearing to offend the homosexuals, lesbians and other perverts of this once proud Christian nation.

Verses 11 and 12 could read like this "Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God. Or Else ..."

We as a nation are at the Or Else stage. One out of every three babies conceived in this country is offered up to satan as a blood sacrifice. Do you think God is ignoring their cries? Do you think He has turned a deaf ear to their screams of horror as they are ripped apart?

Let's do the math. In the USA, we have offered up to satan, over the last 29 years, an average of 1,700,000 babies each year. 1,700,000 times 29 equals 49,300,000 babies. And in their place we have brought into this country immigrants of every possible heathen stripe. And you think God is ignoring this? Is it any wonder that the powers to be, the Susan Collinses, the Ted Kennedys the Clintons and others so hate the word of God and the Word of God. They, like most in the USA, have chosen evil, have chosen to serve satan by any of his many names, whether it be, allah, creatures, or pope.

Yesterday we looked at the 110, well actually the 109 rules that we know of that George Washington lived his life by. We took a moment to think about the type of rules members of the senate like Susan Collins must live their lives by, and the rules we seem to realize the hero of the Collins crowd, Bill Clinton and his bi-sexual wife live their lives by.

And that is why I am once again going to ask you to pray twice daily for a revival in ths country, to pray for God's word to be the rules by wich this the President, the Attorney General and other members of the Bush administration live by. And God's intervention in the congress and the courts of this nation. Giving us, His chosen, another chance. Let us ask God to open the president's eyes to the horror he commits when he compromises with the homosexuals, the pagan worshipers, the workers of iniquity. Let us ask the Lord to help the president select men of honor, of courage, men grounded in the word and love of Christ for positions of authority and to be his counselors.

Let us join together and beseech God daily for His guidance and correction. And if George Bush will not lead this nation away from evil, then let us ask the Lord to rid us of him and to give us one who will.

But mostly, let us say, "Thy will be done Lord, not ours, but Thine".

Amen.

Thursday May 2nd, 2002

Today, Thursday May 2nd, in the year of our Lord 2002 AD, is the National Day of Prayer.

Why should we pray for our nation and those public servants we have placed in the elective and appointed positions of our nation? Well, the answer to that is really quite simple. A little over 200 years ago, we, as a nation had our first president, whose name was George Washington, and he lived his life by 110 rules. Rules he had written out as a 16 year old student, and rules that impacted and directed his life, both personal and public for all the rest of the days of his life.

Between the years of 1993 and 2001, we had another president, his name, William Jefferson Blithe Clinton. He too had rules, and he too lived his live ruled by those rules.

Now we have a new president, his name George Walker Bush. This new president can follow in either the footsteps of George Washington. A man of the highest moral integrity or William Jefferson Blithe Clinton, a man with no morals, a man who has committed rape, murder, treason, perjury and other sundry crimes against the people of these United States, the world and the Lord God Creator of all.

What will make the difference in President Bush's life and decision is our prayers. For:

Are any sick among you? Our nation is sick my brothers, for this new president, George Bush, has inherited the congress and the senate of the Clintons. He has inherited a congress that considers perjury to be a lesser crime than spitting on the sidewalk. A congress with more homosexual, lesbian and bisexual members than Christians or Patriots. He has inherited a nation that has become the number one importer of drugs and the number one exporter of pornography. A nation where a pathological liar can be a US senator as in the case of Susan Collins of Maine or even president as seen in Clinton.

Let him call for the elders of the church; President Bush, in declaring this National Day of Prayer, has asked this nation's Christians to pray for Him and the Country. Is that not what James has dictated for a sick leader to do? Can you think it is only sickness of the physical James was referring to? No, sickness can be and most often is morals or lack of.

and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and just who would you think 'them' is? Is it not us, the Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Born Again Christians of this nation? For who but us will God listen to? And what would you think the oil is, the oil to anoint? What could be more of an anointing oil than our prayers, cries and petitions to God.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Yes, the prayers of the faithful, in faith, will be heard by God and HE will answer them and He will rise up that in which we pray for, our public servants and our nation. And those sins committed by our public servants and our nation will be forgiven. James 5:14&15

How do we know that God will hear our prayers and grant our prayers for cleaning up this nation, for forgiveness and for guidance for the president and the public servants we have entrusted with the care of this nation of ours? Read your bible. For He tells us He will.

I wish you would take just a minute and think about the last ten years, better yet, make it the last sixty years or so. Think about a nation that has teetering between being communist and fascist. Think about what kind of nation we have become when Susan Collins can be in the United States Senate, casting her vote to save and legitimize Clinton and his crimes. Think about the nation we have become where we now call it legal to kill a baby trapped in his or her mom's womb, calling it nothing more than a 'woman's right to choose'. Think about an nation where the courts and the congress open every session with a prayer, yet pass laws forbidding children in school to open their day with prayer.

Now, read about our first president, General George Washington, and the 110 rules that guided his life:

Among the hundreds of volumes of Washington Manuscripts in the Library of Congress, two contain the school exercises of George Washington, written before he had reached the age of sixteen years. The one devoted to mathematics exhibits a wide range of subjects, combined with sureness and accuracy in working, and clearness and neatness of presentation. Few graduates of colleges today, unless they specialize in mathematics, become so well trained in that subject. The problems in surveying show that at sixteen Washington was fitted to earn his living in the field.

The second book begins with legal forms, such as every planter should know: bills of sale and exchange, contracts, conveyances, deeds, leases, and even wills. The middle portion contains a CHRISTMAS poem, and also one entitled "True Happiness," which strongly suggest that the boyish love poems attributed to his pen were taken from some book, now unknown. Probably they expressed his feelings at the moment, and he copied them.

The remaining ten pages of the second book are occupied by one hundred and ten "Rules of Civility and Decent Behaviour in Company and Conversation," about which much has been written and little is known. These maxims were so fully exemplified in George Washington's life that biographers have regarded them as formative influences in the development of his character.

These are the 110 rules by which President George Washington ruled and guided his life:

1. Every action done in company ought to be with some sign of respect to those that are present.

2. When in company, put not your hands to any part of the body not usually discovered.

3. Show nothing to your friend that may affright him.

4. In the presence of others, sing not to yourself with a humming voice, or drum with your fingers or feet.

5. If you cough, sneeze, sigh, or yawn, do it not loud but privately, and speak not in your yawning, but put your handkerchief or hand before your face and turn aside.

6. Sleep not when others speak; sit not when others stand; speak not when you should hold your peace; walk not on when others stop.

7. Put not off your clothes in the presence of others, nor go out your chamber half dressed.

8. At play and attire, it's good manners to give place to the last comer, and affect not to speak louder than ordinary.

9. Spit not into the fire, nor stoop low before it; neither put your hands into the flames to warm them, nor set your feet upon the fire, especially if there be meat before it.

10. When you sit down, keep your feet firm and even; without putting one on the other or crossing them.

11. Shift not yourself in the sight of others, nor gnaw your nails.

12. Shake not the head, feet, or legs; roll not the eyes; lift not one eyebrow higher than the other, wry not the mouth, and bedew no man's face with your spittle by [approaching too near] him [when] you speak.

13. Kill no vermin, or fleas, lice, ticks, etc. in the sight of others; if you see any filth or thick spittle put your foot dexterously upon it; if it be upon the clothes of your companions, put it off privately, and if it be upon your own clothes, return thanks to him who puts it off behavior or saluting, ought also to be observed in taking of place and sitting down for ceremonies without bounds are troublesome.

14. Turn not your back to others, especially in speaking; jog not the table or desk on which another reads or writes; lean not upon anyone.

15. Keep your nails clean and short, also your hands and teeth clean, yet without showing any great concern for them.

16. Do not puff up the cheeks, loll not out the tongue with the hands, or beard, thrust out the lips, or bite them, or keep the lips too open or too close.

17. Be no flatterer, neither play with any that delight not to be played withal.

18. Read no letter, books, or papers in company, but when there is a necessity for the doing of it, you must ask leave; come not near the books or writings of another so as to read them unless desired, or give your opinion of them unasked,- also look not nigh when another is writing a letter.

19. Let your countenance be pleasant but in serious matters somewhat grave.

20. The gestures of the body must be suited to the discourse you are upon.

21. Reproach none for the infirmities of nature, nor delight to put them that have in mind of thereof.

22. Show not yourself glad at the misfortune of another though he were your enemy.

23. When you see a crime punished, you may be inwardly pleased; but [damaged manuscript] show pity to the suffering offender.

24. [damaged manuscript]

25. Superfluous compliments and all affectation of ceremonies are to be avoided, yet where due they are not to be neglected.

26. In putting off your hat to persons of distinction, as noblemen, justices, churchmen, etc., make reverence, bowing more or less according to the custom of the better bred, and quality of the persons; among your equals expect not always that they should begin with you first; but to pull off the hat when there is no need is affectation, in the manner of saluting and resulting in word keep to the most usual custom.

27. "Tis ill manners to bed one more eminent than yourself be covered, as well as not to do it to whom it is due. Likewise he that makes too much haste to put on his hat does not well, yet he ought to put it on at the first, or at most the second time of being asked; now what is herein spoken, of qualification in behavior or saluting ought to be taking place and sitting down for ceremonies without bounds are troublesome.

28. If any one come to speak to you while you are [are] sitting, stand up, though he be your inferior, and when you present seats, let it be to everyone according to his degree.

29. When you meet with one of greater quality than yourself, stop, and retire, especially if it be at a door or any straight place, to give way for him to pass.

30. In walking the highest place in most countries hand; therefore place yourself on the left of him whom you desire to honor: but if three walk together the middle place is the most honorable; the wall is usually given to the most worthy if two walk together.

31. If anyone far surpasses others, either in age, estate, or merits [and] would give place to a meaner than himself, the same ought not to accept it, save he offer] it above once or twice.

32. To one that is your equal, or not much inferior, you are to give the chief place in your lodging, and he to whom it is offered ought at the first to refuse it, but at the second to accept though not without acknowledging his own unworthiness.

33. They that are in dignity or in office have in all places precedency, but whilst they are young, they ought to respect those that are their equals in birth or other qualities, though they have no public charge.

34. It is good manners to prefer them to whom we speak before ourselves, especially if they be above us, with whom in no sort we ought to begin.

35. Let your discourse with men of business be short and comprehensive.

36. Artificers and persons of low degree ought not to use many ceremonies to lords or others of high degree, but respect and highly honor then, and those of high degree ought to treat them with affability and courtesy, without arrogance.

37. In speaking to men of quality do not lean nor look them full in the face, nor approach too near them at left. Keep a full pace from them.

38. In visiting the sick, do not presently play the physician if you be not knowing therein.

39. In writing or speaking, give to every person his due title according to his degree and the custom of the place.

40. Strive not with your superior in argument, but always submit your argument to others with modesty.

41. Undertake not to teach your equal in the art himself professes; it (manuscript damaged ) of arrogance.

42. [damaged manuscript]; and same with a clown and a prince,

43. Do not express joy before one sick in pain, for that contrary passion will aggravate his misery.

44. When a man does all he can, though it succeed not well, blame not him that did it.

Do you see why we must pray? The choice is clear, with your prayers our nation returns to the rules of President Washington, without them, we remain the nation where Senator Susan Collins is not only not in prison where she belongs, but in the United states Senate.

The leftists are famous for saying "do it for the children" only their god, satan, knows what they mean by that. But, I am asking you to pray for this nation, for our children's sake for look where it will go without your prayers for Christ's immediate intervention. Many of you thought it could get no worse than with Clinton at the helm, but I say this to you, it could and can get worse, we could have Susan Collins as president.

For those of you who are home schooling and would like a copy of President Washington's 110 rules in either Word 6 or Word Perfect, email me and I will send them out to you as fast as possible. If you need a copy mailed to you, please send that request along with a large self addressed envelope with two ounces of postage attached to:

No! Now go to your room!

Today, we are going to look at the results of being a Godly parent and the blessings it brings. First read along with me a bit of Scripture.

Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. (Proverbs 19:18) Or, put in todays language, spank your son when he does wrong and while he is still impressionable, do not ignore his mistakes because of his crying, whining or begging.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Revelation 3:19) Here Jesus very clearly tells us that those He loves, He will spank. He further tells us not to be upset about that, but be grateful for His love and correction, and repent of the things done that caused the need for Him to spank us in the first place.

One more.

Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. (Proverbs 29:17) Or as we would say today, When your son or daughter misbehaves as a child, correct them, correct their every error when they are young, and when they are older, they will be well behaved and obedient, being a blessing to you by their behavior.

When you, as a father fear not the government and the political correctness police but instead fear God, you will not hesitate to discipline your children. Even if that disciplining means putting them over your knee and giving them a solid spanking. And if you do that disciplining with love, you will end up with a great God fearing kid.

I know a man, a man who both he and his wife came to the Lord in later years, and are now very, very solid Christians. They have a son, that son left Christ and became a liberal jew in order to marry the woman of his dreams. This woman not many years later, became addicted to adultery and has now moved her husband, this man's son, out and her newest boyfriend in. The son is now 33 years old, while devasted over his upcoming divorce, still has not accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

May the Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua, be the father we aren't to our children, may He hear our every prayer for our children and may He bring into their lives the husbands and wives He has chosen for them. And may He shower His love and blessings upon those who have raised His gifts by His dictates and not the secular paganism of the Senator Collins of this land. And may He hear the cries of the parents of this soon to be divorced boy and bring salvation to their son.

In Jesus name we beseech and petition the Father,

Amen.

God blessed America when she feared Him, now it appears, she may face His wrath.
