No man can serve two masters

As CHRISTmas approaches, we must realize that, No man can serve two masters, for he will love the one and hate the other. We can see the truth of this in today's US society. You either love the USA and her sovereignty or you love the UN. You cannot love both. You either desire the freedom of our Constitutional Republic through our written Constitution or you desire a one world government where all peoples of the world are supposedly treated equally as subjects by the UN. But, as we have learned from the failed communist governments of the world as well as the current communist governments of the world, the idea is fiction, for it has not worked.

It is much the same with us, we must choose Christ and freedom or satan and slavery. But, as in the fight for all freedom, you must choose freedom, for the default is slavery in government and slavery to satan. To be free you must choose to fight for freedom, to stop the communist movement in it's tracks. And like wise to insure your eternal freedom, you must choose Jesus, for the default in both is slavery. But how can you choose when you know nothing about the choices? When the US Constitution is not taught in the schools, when there is no comparison drawn between the horrors of slavery under a one world communist government and the freedoms of our Republic, one can not choose for one only knows what one is taught and hears daily in the news.

And so it is with making the choice between Christ and satan. Freedom and eternal bliss and slavery in eternal damnation of pain and never ending suffering. But how can one make that choice if one never hears the words of Jesus, never hears or reads His writings? All to often today, the man or woman in the pulpit is preaching, not what Christ taught, but what some man or woman knows He meant to say. And when one is unaware of what Christ really said and really stands for, one can not make a proper and informed choice. For the Lord forces no one, He only comes to those who ask Him to come into their hearts.

So, let us continue with our study of our CHRISTmas birthday Child and what better way to study Him than through His autobiography.

Matthew Chapter Six

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew Chapter Seven

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?' 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine: 29 For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Matthew chapters 6&7 ACP/KJV

Did you know that your son, if both you and he are saved, is not only your son, he is also your brother. Ladies did you realize that the same goes for your daughters, for if both of you are saved, she is both your daughter and your sister. How would satan have you treat your child who is also your brother or sister? Now How does Jesus teach you to treat them, to judge their behavior? Do we not serve a wonderful Lord? As we move toward the celebration of the birthday of He whom we know to be the Messiah, isn't it wonderful to get to know Him better and better.

As we move through the Lord's own book, His autobiography, we will get to know our Lord and Savior even better. And which amongst you would does not desire to know all there is to know about He whom you serve?

May He bless you for taking the time to study Him and His teachings. And may He help you to be more and more like Him as each and every day passes by.

In the holy name of Yeshua I pray to the Father above for blessings and love for you and yours.

Amen.

What kind of God is our Lord Yeshua

We sing songs to Him, we say prayers to Him, but just what type of God is our Lord Jesus? Have you ever taken a moment to look at the characteristics of our Messiah? Over the last few months we have heard our Lord Jesus compared to allah, is Jesus anything like the one who commands his slaves to kill themselves while destroying four thousand non combatants? Is our God anything like the god of the Chinese? A god who oversees the forced abortion of hundreds of million s of babies caught and trapped in the womb? Is our God anything like the gods of those who worship cows?

What better way to understand the one we call God, than to read His word in His book, the Holy Bible. Today let us look into the face of our Messiah, Christ Jesus and heed His instructions to us in our dealings with others.

1 And seeing the multitudes, He (Jesus) went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: 2 And He opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5 1-48 ACP/KJV

Are you starting to see the love that is our Lord? Are you starting to see that the God we serve, the Almighty creator of all heaven and earth, is not like allah or one would have you bending down to cows, aborting babies, killing folks on their way to work with stolen planes. Do you see anything in the face of our Lord that would have you thinking that any man is better than another? Oh, how I pray to God that those whom God has given special gifts, like doctors, dentists, and the like would use their gifts as the Lord would have them, not just for profit.

May He, the Lord Jesus, the Christ bless you all this day, may He be with you and give you His peace and understanding of His word.

Amen.

He is our King

As we read today's Scripture, Matthew chapters three and four, we will see that Jesus is in deed our King. In Chapter three John the Baptist makes that abundantly clear and in chapter four satan makes it clear by his attempt to get the Lord to worship him and to stoop down to the level of proving Himself to a disgraced, fallen angel, a miserable little creation. In chapter three John not only acknowledges the Lord but God Himself tells John that Jesus is His Son and that not only that, but that God the Father is proud of Jesus. In chapter four, Jesus dismisses satan out of hand by thoroughly rebuking him, not once, but three times. With every point satan tries to make, the Lord literally tells satan that he is wrong and then corrects him as one would an errant delinquent.

It is important that we know our King, just as it is important that those who serve worldly leaders know whom they serve, for otherwise their food stamps, socialized medicine and other earthly given things of this world, may be cut off. If it is important for those who call this planet their home to know their kings, how much more so for us to know our King. And the only real way of knowing our king is to read His book, the one with His life story in it, the Holy Bible.

So, without further ado, let us ask the Lord to help us to understand what He has dictated in His book so that we may better know Him whom we serve, Him who created us and all things, Him who shed His blood so that we could be free. Messiah Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.

Matthew Chapter Three

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, "Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." 3 For this is he (John) that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT (Isaiah 40:3).

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, "O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He (Jesus) that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, "I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?"

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him (John), and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him (Jesus): 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew Chapter Four

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter (satan) came to Him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.

12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee; 13 And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: 14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, 15 THE LAND OF ZABULON, AND THE LAND OF NEPHTHALIM, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, BEYOND JORDAN, GALILEE OF THE GENTILES; 16 THE PEOPLE WHICH SAT IN DARKNESS SAW GREAT LIGHT (Jesus); AND TO THEM WHICH SAT IN THE REGION AND SHADOW OF DEATH LIGHT (Jesus) IS SPRUNG UP (Isaiah 9:1&2).

17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him.

21 And going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed Him.

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 24 And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them.

25 And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

(Matthew chapters three and four ACP/KJV) Lord, we thank Thee for giving us Your word so that we can better know You and serve You. For Lord how much more important it is for us to know You than it is for those of the world to know whom they follow, many of them refuse to even acknowledge he whom they serve and cry out to you, without coming to you, in times of anguish. Jesus Your word strengthens our ability to serve and believe, for at times, we are weak, we are weak because of the horrors we see around us. But Your word strengthens us giving us hope and trust and the knowledge that we are but visitors here. Spending the days and nights as one who is traveling to a distant land. Some stay in four star hotels and others of us in Motel Sixes, while still others of us are relegated to the hovels of this earth. But through Your word we know that this is but temporary and one day You will call us home to be with You, the Father and the Holy Ghost in paradise. So help us to understand Your word Lord, help us to understand Your word and You, help us to know whom it is we call King, You Lord, Messiah Yeshua.

Amen.

Let us focus on the Christ

We are now within a month of the time we use to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus. How much do you know about Jesus? Do you know as much about your master as you do your wife? how about as much as you know about your best friend? Your boss? How much do you really know about the Lord? Do you know it is Him in whom John refers to as the Word and the Light? Do you know that His name in Hebrew is Yeshua?

Let us settle back and study Jesus. For between now and CHRISTmas, unless something comes up, we will be focusing on He who shed His blood for His creations, His creatures, us.

Matthew Chapter One

1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king;

and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD, AND SHALL BRING FORTH A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL (Isaiah 7:14), which being interpreted is, God with us.

24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called His name JESUS.

Matthew Chapter Two

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, "Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him."

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, "In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 'AND THOU BETHLEHEM, IN THE LAND OF JUDA, ART NOT THE LEAST AMONG THE PRINCES OF JUDA: FOR OUT OF THEE SHALL COME A GOVERNOR, THAT SHALL RULE MY PEOPLE ISRAEL(Micah 5:2).'"

7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, "Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also." 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. 13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, "Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him." 14 When he (Joseph) arose, he took the young child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt: 15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, OUT OF EGYPT HAVE I CALLED MY SON (Hosea 11:1).

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, 18 IN RAMA WAS THERE A VOICE HEARD, LAMENTATION, AND WEEPING, AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN, AND WOULD NOT BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT (Jeremiah 31:15).

19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 Saying, "Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life." 21 And he arose, and took the young child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, HE SHALL BE CALLED A NAZARENE (paraphrase fromJudges 13:5).

Matthew Chapters one and two ACP/KJV

As we approach CHRISTmas, let us concentrate not on the things of this world, but instead on He who created the world, for it is not through the things of this world that we have salvation, but through the Blood of the Lord, messiah Yeshua. I'm not going to use a lot of commentary, so, instead ask God to help you understand. Simply say to Him, Lord help me, Thy servant to understand thy word, so that i will better know my Master. For as Your Son, my Lord and my Saviour Jesus has said, man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD. In Jesus holy name I ask this of the Father.

Amen.

First things first

Ever heard the old saying, "first things first"? I'm sure you have, for just about everyone has. Which of us as kids did not hear those very words uttered from the mouth of our parents, as we wanted to do something fun before something closely akin to work. But what does God mean when He says "First things first"? Could it be that God means first commandment s first? If so, what are God's first commandments?

And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me!

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain. Exodus 20:1-7

Do you wear a cross? There is nothing wrong with wearing a cross, as long as you wear it to remind you of what the Lord did for you. But if you wear it to pray to or hold up in your hands as if praying through, that is idolatry.

Do you have a nativity scene for CHRISTmas? There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a nativity scene and displaying it at CHRISTmas or for that fact all year long. As long as you are displaying it not as an object to be prayed to or through, but as something to remind you of how God the Father came to earth as God the Son to save us from our sins and to give us the only way to salvation.

Do you say things like "Oh my God" at times other than in prayer? If so, you are probably using the Lord's name in vain. Do you say things like "Gosh darn"? If so, you are using the Lord's name in vain. How about "jeepers crippers"? Again, if you do, stop it immediately for you are in fact using God's name in vain. Do you refer to CHRISTmas as x mas? Well, let me ask you a question, how would you feel if someone was referring to your child by something other than his name? God feels no less strongly, guaranteed. Not only should you refuse to do such, you should refuse to associate with or support anyone, store or individual who does.

As we approach the time of the year we use to remind ourselves of God's love, so pure and so absolutes, that He left His throne in heaven and came to earth as a little innocent baby boy, just so that you would have the way to avoid an eternity of damnation and have the opportunity to, through His Blood, spend eternity in paradise. Why not use this time to get in the habit of obeying God's commandments, first things first.

How about reading, studying and obeying His first commandments.

And maybe, just maybe, one person, maybe just one person, will, by your language and actions regarding God Almighty and His name, come to realize that you are indeed a Christian.

The Lord God of the universe, Messiah Yeshua be with you all and may His grace abound upon you and yours, keeping you safe and close to Him, hearing your prayers and opening His word to you though His Son, the Word.

Amen.

Weekend of, November 24th & 25th, 2001

So, now we pay the price

So, where did Bin Laden, Arafat and the rest of the allah worshiping terrorists come from? Have you given any thought to this? The mainstream media will tell you a pack of lies, misleading you to think and believe that they are the result of our being a more wealthy country than they, that we are responsible because we go over to their countries and intervene. As usual, the mainstream media is nothing more than a front for the word of satan and lies repeatedly.

Bin Laden, Arafat and the rest of those who worship satan by the name of allah are the result of Saul and his refusal to abide by and follow the orders of God Almighty. For when Saul was the king of Israel, God told him to eliminate from the face of the earth the forefather of today's allah worshipers, but Saul refused to abide by God's instructions and instead caused himself to be fired and us to be plagued by the descendants of those whom Saul spared.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over His people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah. And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, "Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt". So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt. And Saul took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly. 1 Samuel 1-9

Saul had been instructed by God to destroy all of the Amalekites, but he didn't. And this came back to haunt Israel from that day forward and now us. All because one man refused to obey God. And now, we, like Israel, pay the price. And unless we and or Israel finish the job, by hunting down every last one of the descendants of those spared by Saul, we will keep on and on paying the price. And since God tells us that there will be no end of this, no peace till He returns. We can try to finish what Saul started but unfortunately we will not succeed. Probably because we as a nation have not the stomach for slaughter and because we have newsmen like Peter Jennings.

Lest you think that none but Agag was spared, remember those Kenites that Saul spared? Well, seems they were not all Kenites. For read with me who in the end kills Saul.

Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag; Notice here who David is fighting? Is it not the Amalekites?

It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. And David said unto him, "From whence comest thou?" And he said unto David, "Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped."

And David said unto him, "How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me." And he answered, That "the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also."

And David said unto the young man that told him, "How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?" And the young man that told him said, "As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I. And he said unto me, ‘Who art thou?' And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. He said unto me again, ‘Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.'

So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord." 2 Samuel 1-10

Did you notice, that when Saul asked who he was, what he answered? Look, " And he said unto me, ‘Who art thou?' And I answered him, I am an Amalekite." When Saul refused to abide by the orders given by God, God allowed one of those that Saul spared to render justice upon Saul for failing to obey God.

Today, as much as the press and the liberals hate it, our men in Afghanistan are more closely following the orders of God than did Saul. And unlike Saul, our men have to fight not only the enemy of the descendants of the Amalekites that Saul should have killed, but political correctness, the main stream media, the liberals and leftist within and without our government and the democratic leadership of the US House and Senate.

Let us raise our voices to God Almighty asking His protection and Salvation for those brave men who are trying desperately to finish what Saul so long ago should have done. As we sit here at home eating turnkey leftovers, let us thank God for those brave men wearing our uniform and fighting God's war.

Amen.

Ah turkey leftovers

Well, I would guess it safe to assume that one and all had a wonderful, blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving day. Now comes turkey leftovers, ah, but, praise be to God, since we as a nation have been enjoying turkey for Thanksgiving for so many years, there are tons of great recipes for left over turkey.

So, let us not focus on left over turkey, but instead, what we shall thank God for next year on the day of Thanksgiving, only 364 days from now.

This afternoon, why not make a box, a box about one cubit long by two thirds of a cubit wide by one half a cubit high. Make a lid for the box that can easily be taken off, but with a slit in the top large enough to slide an index card through it and into the box without lifting the top off. This box will be your thanks be to God box. It can be for one, for two, for a whole family, for a church or whatever. It is a box in which every prayer which God answers for you is written down on an index card and placed in the box. Then, next year, on the day we call Thanksgiving, yet the Bible refers to as the feast of Tabernacles, you can read the number of times God has heard and answered your prayers. You will be amazed! Some of the prayers answered will be prayers prayed just the night before, others will be answers to prayers that you have been praying for years.

Now, I need to ask you a question first and then I'm going to make some really easy suggestions for you.

First the question. In light of all the wonderful things the Lord has done for you, all the prayers He has answered for you, all the things He has done for you that you gave thanks for yesterday, what have you done for Him? How are you saying thanks to Jesus? What do you do to show your gratitude for His gifts to you? I know that sounds like several questions, but it really is only one, phrased a couple of different ways.

Now my suggestions, and these really are easy to do. You can of course do more, but this is a half way decent start.

One: Take on a prayer project, take on something that you will pray for daily, in addition to those things you are already praying for.

Two: Do no business with companies that use x-mas instead of CHRISTmas. And, if you could, just give them a call or send them a card telling them why you have chosen to not shop at their store or buy their product or service. And if you can, continue this boycott till they change their sign, card or whatever it was that used x-mas instead of CHRISTmas.

Three: do no business with businesses and countries that support abortion. This would mean buying nothing made in China.

And four: Strive to make you relationship with the ones God has given you, your wife and your kids, better each day.

That's it. Now may the Lord our God, Messiah Yeshua bless you and yours, may He give you peace and protection in these days of uncertainty. May He bless you and protect you and yours and hear your prayers.

Amen.

Wednesday and Thursday, November 21st & 22nd, 2001

Let us thank Yeshua

John Chapter One

1 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him (Jesus); and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. 5 And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through Him might believe. 8 He (John) was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11 He came unto His own(the Jews), and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, "This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me." 16 And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.

19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who art thou?" 20 And he (John) confessed, and denied not; but confessed, "I am not the Christ." 21 And they asked him, "What then? Art thou Elias?" And he saith, "I am not." "Art thou that prophet?" And he answered, "No."

22 Then said they unto him, "Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?" 23 He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias." 24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, and said unto him, "Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?" 26 John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; 27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose."

28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is He of whom I said, 'After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for He was before me.' 31 And I knew Him not: but that He should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water."

32 And John bare record, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him. 33 And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God."

35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, "Behold the Lamb of God!"

37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, "Rabbi", (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) "where dwellest Thou?" 39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where He dwelt, and abode with Him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, "We have found the Messiah," which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he (Andrew) brought him(Peter) to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, He said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, a stone.

43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, "We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." 46 And Nathanael said unto him, "Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip saith unto him, "Come and see."

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, "Whence knowest thou me?" Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, "Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel." 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And He saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

John Chapter Two

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and His disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, "They have no wine." 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it." 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, "Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now." 11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.

12 After this He went down to Capernaum, He, and His mother, and His brethren, and His disciples: and they continued there not many days. 13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not My Father's house an house of merchandise. 17 And His disciples remembered that it was written, THE ZEAL OF THINE HOUSE HATH EATEN ME UP (Psalm 69:9).

18 Then answered the Jews and said unto Him, "What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?" 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, "Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?" 21 But He spake of the temple of His body. 22 When therefore He was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which He did. 24 But Jesus did not commit Himself unto them, because He knew all men, 25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man.

John Chapter Three

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that Thou doest, except God be with him."

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it liketh, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, "How can these things be?"

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (Sin, satan) rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

22 After these things came Jesus and His disciples into the land of Judaea; and there He tarried with them, and baptized.

23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24 For John was not yet cast into prison. 25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, "Rabbi, He (Jesus) that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to Him."

27 John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.' 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: He that cometh from heaven is above all. 32 And what He hath seen and heard, that He testifieth; and no man receiveth His testimony. 33 he that hath received His testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

34 For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

So, yes, let us thank God for coming to earth in the form of a man called Yeshua, fulfilling all of the prophecies of the first coming of the Messiah, shedding His perfect Blood for us and giving us the way to be forgiven and to become His once again. For that is the greatest thing any of us has to be thankful for. And only God could do it and only God can give it.

Thank You Lord.

Amen.

Let us thank God for the heathen

Really, I'm not kidding. As we approach this Thanksgiving day of 2001, let us take a moment to include the heathen in our thanks to the Almighty. Not all heathens of course, kind of hard to thank God for the islamic hordes that have attacked the USA, both here at home and abroad, but there are other heathens we can and should thank Yeshua for.

Turn with me to the book of Revelation:

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Revelation 3:14-17

Why oh why do you ask, do we thank God for the heathens of the church of Laodicea? well, first we need to take a closer look at just what the church of Laodicea is. The church of Laodicea are those that say they are Christian churches, but really aren't. They are the churches that do not accept the word of the Lord as truth when He says: "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." They instead try to work their way into heaven, they do what they call good works and it is those works that they do, trying to bypass the Christ, to get into heaven, that we are thanking the Lord God for.

Tis is the time of the year when the Laodiceans will collect and hand out food, fuel and clothing, they will do this in an effort to satisfy the teachings of their pastors. They will, while on the one hand, ignore the horrors and slaughter of abortion, cry publicly about how children are starving and freezing and how they must do more. So they do more, they collect and hand out more food, they collect and hand out more clothing and fuel oil and at times have even been known to part with cold hard cash. And for that my brothers and sisters of the Church of Philadelphia, we should thank the living God, Messiah Yeshua.

So, as we approach this, the feast of Tabernacle, let us thank the Master for giving us the church of Laodicea. For in their efforts to work their way into heaven, they feed and clothe many, and in most instances, God gets the glory, for as they try to work their way into heaven, they do these good works in God's Holy name. Praise God and thank You Lord for those poor damned fools who feed Your sheep with the sweat of their brow to avoid coming and surrendering to You and Your word.

But Lord, I would ask You most to open the eyes of these fools, to let them know that you and You only are the way. That it is only through Your Blood that one achieves the reward of forgiveness and life eternal with You, the Father and the Holy Ghost. Help them to understand that we, those who are Born Again do works to thank You, not to bribe You. And that their bribes are but dung to a Lord who uses gold as we use dirt to pave the streets..

Amen.

Blessed art thou among women

"Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." These where the words spoken to Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus, when Mary came to visit her Aunt Elisabeth, and the baby, John the Baptist, in her womb leapt for joy.

While those within the cult of Roman Catholicism, esteem Mary to the point of making her almost equal with the Lord Jesus. And in some cases equal with the Lord, we evangelical Christians, members of the Lord's church of Philadelphia, have a tendency to perhaps ignore her. We ignore her not out of a sense of dislike or disrespect, but out of the fear of idiolatry. We, fear that we, like Roman Catholics, may find it to easy to stop looking at her as a woman and start to revere her as a god. This is not a silly fear, for look at the Roman Catholic church, the Greek and Russian Orthodox churches and a few other, like the Episcopalian and Methodist churches, they not only put Mary on a pedestal, they pray to her. That my brothers and sisters is idolatry. And it is good that we fear falling into that same trap. But, Mary, the mother of Jesus, is special and we should, while not idolizing her, remember that she was a very special young lady.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

And the angel came in unto her, and said, "Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, "Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 3And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

Then said Mary unto the angel, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?"

And the angel answered and said unto her, "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." Luke 1:26-35

Mary was picked by God the Father to carry and let grow in her womb, His Son, our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. She was not impregnated by a man, but instead by God the Holy Ghost. It was she who nursed the Lord, it was she who changed His diapers, it was she whom God entrusted with the upbringing of His Son. Does that not make her special? Not so special that we should worship her for like us she is only a creation, but is she not at least worth the respect we show for politicians, Christian leaders, and televison personalities? I would have to say yes, for it is Mary whom Jesus responded to and did His first miracle and it was Mary in whom He entrusted to the care of His best friend on earth, the Apostle John.

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and His disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

His mother saith unto the servants, "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it."

And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And He saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, and saith unto him, "Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him. John 2: 1-11

And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, "Write not, The King of the Jews; but that He said, I am King of the Jews."

Pilate answered, "What I have written I have written."

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also His coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, THEY PARTED MY RAIMENT AMONG THEM, AND FOR MY VESTURE THEY DID CAST LOTS. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith He to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:19-30

Worship Mary? NO! Pray to Mary? NO! But remember that she was chosen by God Himself to bear His Son, Our Lord? Yes. For which of you out there would not want to have your daughter chosen by God fro so great and honor.

The Lord God Yeshua be with you all.

Amen.

Weekend of November 17th & 18th, 2001

Let's take a minute to thank GOD

Just think, in less than a week it will be Thanksgiving. Praise God. Wouldn't it be nice, if for once, you started thinking of what you will say and what you shall thank God for on Thanksgiving, now instead of the moment that you are giving the blessing before eating that turkey on Thanksgiving?

What do you have to thank God for? Well, if you are an Afghan, you have God to thank for getting the taliban out of your country. If you live in New York, you could thank God for letting you be one of those who did not die in any one of the three airline terrorist actions.

If you are a member of the Military, you can and should thank God that clinton is gone, gore didn't get elected and the president is George Bush. If you are one of those who works at the pentagon, you could thank the Lord that it was not your side of the building that got hit.

And if you were born after 1973, you can thank God Almighty that your mom choose to let you live, for since then, between 25 and 33 percent of all conceptions in these United States ended with the baby being sacrificed on the alter of satan by his high priest the abortionist.

For those of you who are married to a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, you have a lot to thank God for, for can you imagine what life must be like being married to one who hates Jesus and has by selection or default chosen to serve, worship and spend eternity with satan?

As for me, I have much to thank the Lord for, for He has given me more than a wife, He has given me a true helpmate. I have taken this next from the ACP Bible page:

"This is the ACP-KJV Bible index page. to receive your free copy in either Word perfect 6 or above or Word 6 or above, please email us at this location: For either Word or Word Perfect Once a week, I will email to you, as a Word or Word Perfect attachment, the chapters done the previous week or all those before you asked. If for some reason a week goes by that you do not receive your email with the attached Scripture, please either email me or call me immediately.

Once you have the Bible formatted for your word processor, I suggest you print out a page, put it in a loose leaf notebook, put a blank page in opposite it for notes and then print out the next page, putting a blank page across from it for notes ans so on and so forth till you have the complete bible.

Now, I need to take a moment and thank my wife Cecily from the bottom of my heart, for without her willingness to work full time as a teacher, I would not be able to devote the time necessary to do this.

I thank God daily for the wife whom He has given me, for without her, I would have never been able to complete my studies nor planted this internet church.

God Almighty tells us in Genesis Chapter One:

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and He (God) took one of his (Adams) ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 1:18-24 ACP-KJV

And this woman, Cecily, whom the Lord has given me is a helpmate indeed. Not a servant, not a slave, not simply a wife, but a helpmate.

Thank You Lord,
Bob"

You will find the Bible here: This link will take you to the index for the Bible.

Thank You Yeshua, thank You.

Amen.

Please pray

Have you ever studied the Bible? I'm not talking about just reading it, I am talking about really studying it. Well if you haven't, this may be the time fro you to do it. Have you ever thought about starting either a Bible study or house church? What held you back? Was it that you were not sure where to start or how to prepare sermons for your house church? Well the answers to both of those lie within the 66 books of the Bible. But, you're not likely to find those answers by just reading, but I assure you, you will find them by studying ever word.

Now, let me ask you one more question. Can you think of a better way to study the Bible than by going over ever word within it, from the "In" in verse one chapter one of Genesis to the "Amen" in verse 22 of chapter 21 of the book of Revelation?

Here is your opportunity to do just that. I am going through the Bible, starting with Genesis and by the time we are done, all the way through the Book of Revelation. God willing. I will be using the King James Version and this is what I am doing.

Every word attributed directly to God the Father will be in bold purple, like this: 18. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; Genesis 2:18

Each verse number will be in smaller type font, such as the 18 in the verse above.

The words of God the Son, Jesus are used, they will be in bold red print, like this: 15 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

The words of satan, will be in a sickly non bold green like this: 3. And the devil said unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. 4. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:3&4

When a pronoun such as he or him or his is used and it refers to God the Son, God the Father or God the Holy Ghost, the h will be capitalized. As in the verse from the book of Mark above, " And He said " in the original KJV it is written as " And he said ".

At times, it is hard to keep up with the pronouns, trying to understand just who the he is can be difficult, so, occasionally there will be a name in italics within parenthesis to identify the he. Like this: 4. Being made so much better than the angels, as He (Jesus) hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5. For unto which of the angels said He (God) at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?

6. And again, when He (God) bringeth in the first begotten into the world, He saith, And let all the angels of God worship Him.

7. And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire. Hebrews 1:5-7

As I finish each chapter, it will be placed on the net. It will also be available to any and all who want it as an email attachment in either Word Perfect 6 or above and Word 6 and above. The Bible is designed to downloaded giving any and all a free bible. The way I'm setting mine up is by printing a page, placing it in a loose leaf notebook and putting a blank page opposite it for notes.

Now, where do you come in? Well, first and foremost I would ask for your prayers. And second, I would like you to compare it to the original and see if you can find any mistakes, regardless of the size, a misspelled word, a word attributed to the wrong person, an 'h' that went uncapitalized, anything. Anything you see that you even suspect might be wrong, I want to hear about. How do you do that? Well, you and your study group if you have one, go through what I have done and what is in the 1611 King James Version and compare and study. Looking for anything I may have done wrong or made the least little mistake at. Keeping this in mind, I really mean to have no mistakes, for it is written, 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 21:18&19. By your doing that, you will be of indispensable help to me and will at the same time be, not just reading the Bible, but studying it as well. Now as in the verses above, you will at times find that even in the red letter editions of the KJV there will be times when they do not have words in red and I will. Those you must read especially carefully.

You will find the Bible here: This link will take you to the index for the Bible.

One last thing, before proof reading, always go down on your knees and ask the Lords help. For it is His book we are doing and it will, God willing, be here for those who are left behind. Left behind at a time when it will become impossible to buy a KJV.

The Lord Yeshua be with you all, may He keep you safe and may you give Him thanks for His hearing our prayers regarding a woman, her husband and their baby. For thanks be to God, the baby is a healthy happy little 8 pound 21 inch boy. Mom and baby are fine.

Amen.

Ladies, what are ye to do?

Men, if you allow your daughter(s) to marry a heathen, you need to read this. Ladies, if you are Saved and are married to an unsaved man, you really need to read this. For you see, since you have done what God has told you not to do, He doesn't condemn you, but instead tells you what you must do to not only survive in that union, but how to do it as well.

In his second letter to the Corinthians, Paul warns, well actually instructs that those who are Saved, should not link themselves to those who are unsaved.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14

Now while I read a lot more into that then just marriage, just about every preacher Who has ever read the Word of God agrees that it is a serious order not to marry a non Christian. And it is the aspect of marriage that we are going to look at today.

Why do you want to not be married to a non Christian? Well, let us look at a few things that God has said in His book that woman must do within their marriage relationship.

But let us start with What God Almighty Himself said when Eve first sinned.

Unto the woman (Eve) God said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Genesis 3:16
So before you go trying to ignore what peter and Paul said about a wife's role, you had best let the words of God as He spoke to Eve sink in. and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

God has not said, Your husband will rule over you and your desire will be to serve him when he is a Born Again Christian, God has said that who ever you marry, He God will put in you the desire to serve that man.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:22
Wives, obey your husbands as you would obey the Lord. Can you imagine anything that the Lord would tell you to do that you would say no to? Well, if you can not think of a way to say no to God, then you had best rid yourself of the idea of being disrespectful to your husband, Saved or unsaved.

So, what are you to do? What are you to do with your unsaved husband? Well God has not forgotten you simply because you are yoked to a heathen, He has given you explicit directions on how to deal with that unsaved man.

¶ Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden woman of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 1 peter 3:1-6

Don't yell, don't scream, don't preach to him and berate him, but instead be a good Christian wife. Obey him, and show him by your behavior and demeanor what it is like to be Saved. And pray for him. Every night, while he is a sleep, pray for him. Every night before going to sleep, spend a bit of time reading your bible, maybe he will ask you questions, or perhaps he may even ask you to read to him. But, don't preach, don't call him a heathen, don't fight with him, don't argue with him. Obey him and show him by your behavior that you are his and God's. It is not going to be easy. But it is what God requires of you. Tell me, do you understand the horrors of damnation? Has your unsaved husband ever done anything so bad that he deserves and eternity of damnation?

And if he ask you or commands you to prostitute yourself out or rob a bank, what do you do then? I'm going to answer that question with a question of my own. When the angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her that she was going to get pregnant before she was married, did she say "NO way, I'm a virgin, I engaged to a wonderful man and I'm going to be a virgin on the night of my marriage."? When God told His prophet to marry a whore, did the prophet obey or worry about appearances?

Men, do you see the importance of making sure your daughters marry a Born Again Christian? Ladies do you see and understand what you must do if you are unequally yoked?

I pray God the answer is yes, I also ask him to help you with this chore. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Never turn your back on the enemy.

Wednesday November 14th, 2001

Today we are going to see why you never ever turn your back on satan, his minions, his ilk or one who serves him knowingly or unknowingly. Read with me from Paul's letter to the Ephesians.

¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. But against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:10-18

Gird your loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, clothe your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, hold before you the shield of faith, and put upon your head the helmet of salvation. Do you see anything covering your back? Stand toe to toe with evil, do not back down, do not turn and flee, but, be armed properly. You need to be armed with the sword of the Spirit. When facing the evil one, one of his minions, one of his slaves, one who serves him, don't turn and flee, but be armed, be prepared to use the word of God to not only defend yourself, but to destroy that evil influence as well.

While the servants of the evil one come in the form of a man, the only thing that we have to fight them with is the sword of the Spirt, the word of God. And how are you to arm yourself if you do not study the word of God? Look, if I were to give you an M-16, you would want to take it outside and fire it, you would want to practice so that when the time came where you needed to use it, you would not only know how, but would be very proficient with it. Yet that M-16 is nothing compared to the word of God. You can not injure satan with an M-16. But you can drive him off and prepare him for his ultimate destruction with the word of God.

Now, let us look at satan and those who are his' ultimate end:

¶ And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20: 1-10

So, as you see, satan's ultimate end is not simply being thrown into hell, that's only for a thousand years, but the ultimate end for him, his minions, his ilk, for those who serve him both knowingly and unknowingly is eternity in the lake of fire.

Those who serve satan, will spend eternity with him in absolute agony, suffering and pain, all eternity in the lake of fire. Your use of the word of God, the Holy Gospels when fighting satan's servants, may just rescue one of them from that end. For some who hear the word will be saved. But, if you turn and run, they won't hear the word. If you take out that M-16 and riddle the sucker with .223's you're just sending them to hell a bit early, with no chance to repent.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27

There aint no purgatory. Once a man, woman or child is dead, they are judged and if they are not Born Again, they are damned. Period. No second chances, no million of years in purgatory, you die, you are judged, you are not found in the Lamb's book of life, you spend eternity with satan.

But, is it not scary to face evil at times, does it not seem as if the only thing to do is turn tail and run at times?

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear God which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear God. Luke 12:5

Does this mean that saved Wives should badger their husbands? No, and we will cover that another day, probably tomorrow. What it does mean is that you are never to turn your back on evil. That you are never to vote for the lesser of the two evils for you are still turning your back on what is right and embracing what is evil. You are not to rationalize with evil, but are to use that which they fear most, the word of God, the Holy Scriptures.

May our Lord Jesus bless you all today, may he keep you and yours safe, may He give you strength, may He hear your prayers and bless your every move.

Amen.

Weekend of November 10th&11th, 2001

I need your input

One of the most difficult tasks that any Born Again preacher has to face, is how to get new brothers and sisters in the Lord to read the word of God. I have given this much thought and prayer and think I might have an idea. But, I want to know what you think as well. Click here to mail. What I'm thinking of doing is a bible, much like the one I use for the daily thoughts. Not exactly a New King James, nor quite a King James, but somewhat in between.

The words spoken that are attributed directly to God the Father, Yahweh, will be in purple, those direct quotes of God the Son, Yeshua, in red and those spoken by the evil one, satan, in a sickly green.

Let me give you an example if I may:

First, let us look at the verses as they appear in the KJV:

3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:3&4 KJV

And how I will do it.

3. And the devil said unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. 4. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:3&4

Now, as you look at the two above, you'll notice a couple of things, one the use of the colors, and two, when a "him" is referring to God the Father, God the Son or God the Holy Ghost, the "h" is capitalized, therefore making it easier to understand. In some instances, when trying to keep up with the "him," or "he," the name of the person referenced will be in parentheses. As an example, Hebrews chapter one, verses four thru seven:

4 ¶ Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. KJV

And our way,

4. ¶ Being made so much better than the angels, as He (Jesus) hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5. For unto which of the angels said He (God) at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?
6. And again, when He (God) bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, He saith, And let all the angels of God worship Him.
7. And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire. Hebrews 4-7

When a New testament writing is a direct quote from Old Testament, the words themselves will all be caps. Such as below, first the KJV and then as I will be doing it:

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK IN THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 2 Corinthians 6:16

I am open for comment, what I do not want to do is a study Bible at this time, but other than that, I am looking for your input. I would really like to hear from those who are new Christians and those who are currently struggling with their first or second reading of the Bible. Also those who have started and got discouraged, putting the Bible down and not going back to it. Click here to email.

This is what chapter one of Genesis will be:

Genesis Chapter One

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth. 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
